Riley boutique Review

Today I discovered RILEY boutique whilst out and about looking for xmas presents. I am truly amazed and super grateful to Neil.

From the moment we walked in for a quick browse, he was super friendly and made the experience personalised, which in itself is so lovely to see from a shop and customer care.

Upon learning I was after some clothes for a new job (I've always worn uniform and never had the chance to wear my own style) he offered some suggestions based on my height, skin tone and what I was already wearing.

I instantly fell in love with what he was pulling off the shelves and the combinations. After trying the items on, and his help styling outfits in different ways, I can honestly say I felt so happy and comfortable in the clothes I was wearing.

I've never felt so calm, happy and comfortable in a clothes shop before. I'm the girl who walks past clothes I like convinced i cant wear them, or convincing myself I dont need them. I avoid clothes shopping pretty much altogether normally because I'm always so sure I'll just feel awful about myself afterwards. Not today. I felt a million dollars and super confident. The styling and combos just suited my figure. Neil absolutely nailed it.

I cant see me shopping anywhere else! the clothes are gorgeous and high quality, but really reasonably priced too.

I'm so happy and cant wait to wear my new outfits. thankyou and I'll be back

The window dressing and colours of the clothes have always caught my eye in this boutique, but that's as far as it went! Being a larger lady I never thought they would have something I could wear! How wrong I was! I went in for a beautiful pendent necklace I'd spotted in the window, and met Neil! He soon had me looking amazing, and feeling great in clothes and colours I would never normally try, down to scarf and handbag! I looked, and felt great! No pressure to buy, but I left with the necklace and a smile that lasted, even to now as I recall the experience! Oh and the knowledge I can go in at any time!

This shop is amazing , staff can t do enough for you . Such a comfortable atmosphere, you will come out with a smile on your face .

Great place to shop bags are fantastic I never shop any where else for handbags.

Bought quite a few lovely, different items, very good prices, all a little different, design & Fabrics excellent

Well, my experience at Riley in Redditch recently was unforgettable but for all the wrong reasons. I went in to browse the rails, tried on something that was too big and was then accosted by Neil(?). Although he'd never seen me in his life before he assured me that he was going to take me 'out of my comfort zone' and proceeded to bring a selection of garments for me to try on. His enthusiasm was matched only by his desire to make me buy something l didn't like or want. At one point he actually opened the fitting room curtain and looked in - this is unacceptable, offensive and an invasion of privacy.
I wasn't impressed with the clothes, they were 'one (large) size', meaning they are voluminous on anyone under a size 16, with huge gaping necklines (cheaper than having garments made with zips or collars) - although as Neil kindly pointed out I could buy a scarf to bridge the gap.
Neil - let me help you out of your comfort zone. You are not Gok Wan, and even if you were there exist on this planet women who have a sense of style. There are even women who have developed a personal style and know what they want. They do not want someone with no idea of their lifestyle or existing wardrobe to 'put a look together' for them. I'm sure you're a lovely chap but if you want to offer a service your customers might actually want, then you need to add a few simple words to your repertoire - 'Do you need help or are you happy to browse' would cut it. Then listen to and respect the reply.

Beautiful clothes beautiful staff. Fantastic quality clothing really pleased with my purchased blouse handbag and just had too buy the purse. I will definitely be going back in there without any doubts.

Lovely shop and the guy always seems to know what is right for you when choosing your clothes. A sofa is there for you and tea and coffee where else in Redditch do you get that.

A shop like no other. They are not just shop assistant, they ARE your personal shoppers and your friends. Go in have a coffee and a chat, I dare you!!!

What an experience. Went in for a cardigan came out with a whole wardrobe, and I didn't lift a finger. Everything was brought to me to try on. From colour to style they know what works. Excellent if your stuck for inspiration. Fantastic one off bags too well worth a look ladies.
