Totally not worth the money. We went through the whole aquarium in less than an hour. Ticket prices were $85 for our family of 3. We paid $17 to park. We get into the aquarium, and there are a lot of things that you have to pay for!!!!! And don't even get me started on the price of food... definitely will not be back!!!!!

This is a special place. The exibits are truly inspired. There are many fish species and the informational signs made it pretty easy to take a self guided tour. Though it is very close to the Bourbon Street spectacle it is very removed once you are inside. We especially enjoyed the stingrays feeding. They do kind of rushed us through though. (The best stingrays feeding experience is at the Tucson Desert Museum.) Also interesting were the sea horses and frogs.

Nice aquarium easily accessible from the French Quarter. I was disappointed to see some curatorial errors on some of the exhibit signs and even more disappointed to see oil company greenwashing on sponsored exhibits.

Such a great family activity! My 2 year old loved it and so did I! Staff was friendly. Got a great package deal through tripshock so it was affordable to visit. The diversity if wildlife here is really impressive.

Very nice, lots of different animals to see. I loved the theme, like ruins and then a forest, which was so amazing. Huge place that also had penguins, food court, and a stingray petting tank! We were actually pretty impressed with the food, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

I have been to several aquariums across the country and even one of the largest in the world the Georgia aquarium and I have to say it was nice aquarium, we did not spend much time there but I had a fun time. The otters were great.

I really enjoyed my trip here with my 2-year-old and I understand, it costs a lot to run a place like this, but a $30 admission is steep for most people. I would come a lot more often if it wasn't so expensive. It's a beautiful aquarium though and was a big hit with my kiddo.

When it's vacation time it can be a bit maddening the way folks let their kids push and shove. The facility itself is a fun time. Those parakeets are inventive. Check your pockets for stow always.

What a waste! Took less than 30 min to get through. Hard to stop and enjoy things with so many people and screaming children. I knew it would be rough going on a school vacation day but there were so many people maneuvering or seeing exhibits was a nightmare. Not worth the admission price at all.

Fantastic aquarium with a large variety of sea creatures and interactive exhibits for children, such as the stingray petting area. My son had a great time wandering through and was incredibly excited to see the sharks as you near the end of the aquarium. Staff are friendly and the gift shop offers a large variety of items. Would definitely return again.

I've grown up going here! It's never a disappointing trip. I've taken my children now and they always have so much fun. We make it a yearly trip to come and have a day at the aquarium and the city. The zoo and aquarium package is a great deal and will be doing that one next time.

Great place of you are visiting and want to learn a little more about the local sea/wetland life. One visit and you can easily see everything in half a day (moving at a snail's pace).
It's spacious and accommodates large crowds. I went on a Sunday and it was super busy. Crowds weren't really an option because most exhibits had multiple viewing angles.
All that said, it's overpriced compared to similar attractions along the gulf coast.

I have been to many aquariums and this one is rather small in comparison. The building is relatively large but does not make the best use of the space it has. The flow was really good, I knew where I should go next and it felt natural. At the beginning there is a tunnel tank, much like the one at the Atlanta aquarium. The large spacious tanks are somewhat disappointing though the sharks within are extra menacing. Very Nice. Be careful with most of the open exhibits as you can lean over and reach into the water. That does include small children. It is well worth the money with a great assortment of fish and other water beasts.
