Totally not worth the money. We went through the whole aquarium in less than an hour. Ticket prices were $85 for our family of 3. We paid $17 to park. We get into the aquarium, and there are a lot of things that you have to pay for!!!!! And don't even get me started on the price of food... definitely will not be back!!!!!
Awesome place! Loved all the attractions and all the different types of fish! Will definitely be going back soon.
This is a special place. The exibits are truly inspired. There are many fish species and the informational signs made it pretty easy to take a self guided tour. Though it is very close to the Bourbon Street spectacle it is very removed once you are inside. We especially enjoyed the stingrays feeding. They do kind of rushed us through though. (The best stingrays feeding experience is at the Tucson Desert Museum.) Also interesting were the sea horses and frogs.
Extremely fun and interesting place and big in size
This was awesome, not just for our kids, but for us as well. I highly recommend going there.
Extremely outdated. Nothing as been added in 20 years. Cost way to much for a hour to walk through. Only thing I liked was the penguins.
Nice aquarium easily accessible from the French Quarter. I was disappointed to see some curatorial errors on some of the exhibit signs and even more disappointed to see oil company greenwashing on sponsored exhibits.
Seen things I had never seen before. Love the shark tank.
Wonderful experience. We've been taking our children here for years.
This place is amazing. Beautifully constructed and laid out. Gorgeous displays. A must see place in new Orleans
Neat place, sure looks bigger from the outside. But still a good place to look at all kinds of different species
Such a great family activity! My 2 year old loved it and so did I! Staff was friendly. Got a great package deal through tripshock so it was affordable to visit. The diversity if wildlife here is really impressive.
Really nice aquarium. Definitely check it out if you have spare couple of hours.
Very nice aquarium, loved the otters and sting rays.
My friends and I loved going to the Audubon Aquarium. There was so much to see and do. Being able to feed the birds and touch the stingrays was the best!
Very nice, lots of different animals to see. I loved the theme, like ruins and then a forest, which was so amazing. Huge place that also had penguins, food court, and a stingray petting tank! We were actually pretty impressed with the food, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
I have been to several aquariums across the country and even one of the largest in the world the Georgia aquarium and I have to say it was nice aquarium, we did not spend much time there but I had a fun time. The otters were great.
i hope open soon, my sisters and chidenrs want to go
An experience. An inevitable story inspiring changing lives S AND B F has What you need for a healthy life
I really enjoyed my trip here with my 2-year-old and I understand, it costs a lot to run a place like this, but a $30 admission is steep for most people. I would come a lot more often if it wasn't so expensive. It's a beautiful aquarium though and was a big hit with my kiddo.
Great aquarium and friendly staff willing to inform.
they are renovating so there were very few animals. the cool zoo was amazing. love the new additions
Great experience. Very well kept exhibits and friendly staff. Definitely a must do if in the area.
A wonderful place to visit while staying in New Orleans
It is nice, and a great place for families, but it is a little on the expensive side.
Not as great as the Monterrey Bay Aquarium, but a wonderful place nevertheless. So glad that is back after Katrina.
They have many things to see! It's worth the money to get the 3 park pass! The food here is expensive, and not that good.
Loved everything about it, just wish I would've went earlier in the day.
Great exhibits, but the line to get in was too long on a hot day and over-priced.
All of us loved the aquarium! It has so much more to offer than just fish. We loved the different areas and how each creature was explained along with the ecosystem.
It was nice. The kids had a great time. There were quite a few things close which was disappointing since it is pretty expensive for a family of 4 but overall it is nice
Ok if you have never been to an aquarium before. Pricey at 30$ a ticket
They could check it up a little bit, but still a great place for the kids
As an Audubon Member, The staff should spend more time working and less charing to one another
Amazing display! Was warm inside and sweated the entire time.
When it's vacation time it can be a bit maddening the way folks let their kids push and shove. The facility itself is a fun time. Those parakeets are inventive. Check your pockets for stow always.
What a waste! Took less than 30 min to get through. Hard to stop and enjoy things with so many people and screaming children. I knew it would be rough going on a school vacation day but there were so many people maneuvering or seeing exhibits was a nightmare. Not worth the admission price at all.
Wonderful for children and adults. So many sections to explore.
Fun and different but doesnt have a lot of various sea life mostly fish
Great movies, nice attractions and they're expanding.
A great place to get out of the heat and have a good time.
You'll get an eyeful of sea life and don't forget the paddle boats. Its all on the water front.
It was wonderful been so many times but it never gets old
Fantastic aquarium with a large variety of sea creatures and interactive exhibits for children, such as the stingray petting area. My son had a great time wandering through and was incredibly excited to see the sharks as you near the end of the aquarium. Staff are friendly and the gift shop offers a large variety of items. Would definitely return again.
Absolutely loved my visit here. The fish are huge and so pretty
Informative and well laid out but small for the price you pay to get in.
I've grown up going here! It's never a disappointing trip. I've taken my children now and they always have so much fun. We make it a yearly trip to come and have a day at the aquarium and the city. The zoo and aquarium package is a great deal and will be doing that one next time.
The jellyfish were my favorite!. Getting to pet the stingrays was fun for all ages!
Absolutely amazing... well worth the money and drive...
Great place of you are visiting and want to learn a little more about the local sea/wetland life. One visit and you can easily see everything in half a day (moving at a snail's pace).
It's spacious and accommodates large crowds. I went on a Sunday and it was super busy. Crowds weren't really an option because most exhibits had multiple viewing angles.
All that said, it's overpriced compared to similar attractions along the gulf coast.
Beautiful, educational, nice to take the boys to on Summer break! Not too crowded on a weekday!
I have been to many aquariums and this one is rather small in comparison. The building is relatively large but does not make the best use of the space it has. The flow was really good, I knew where I should go next and it felt natural. At the beginning there is a tunnel tank, much like the one at the Atlanta aquarium. The large spacious tanks are somewhat disappointing though the sharks within are extra menacing. Very Nice. Be careful with most of the open exhibits as you can lean over and reach into the water. That does include small children. It is well worth the money with a great assortment of fish and other water beasts.
Oh I absolutely loved it!!! Sooo much to see and experience and an amazing view of the Mississippi River!!!
Beautiful. I loved the penguins and the otters. I will go back asap.
