Doesn't seem like much for the price. No live shows

I've been to this Aquarium multiples times in the last 15 years and it's very run down at this point. The staff at the front desk left me confused and aggrivated. The next set of staff at the window on the outside of the building demanded to see my receipt from the first cashier instead of simply pointing me toward the entrance. The third set of staff, taking pictures at the entrance, told us yo go around the corner of the building to find the entrance. The security guard was a tool. This place has gone down hill drastically.

A fantastic experience. The feeding of the Otters, Penguins and Stingrays are entertaining and educational. The deep sea exhibit is a great place for quiet reflection.

Not that huge one would expect. We were done in 1 hour. There are good variety of fishes though.

Well worth the price of admission. Take your time and read everything, there is lots of information and the exhibits are awesome.

Not the best aquarium, but we want to see them all and it was nice. They have a movie theater in there and that was really nice.

It was amazing. The kids really enjoyed it and we had a fun time too. The birds were wonderful to play with and feed.

Bought our tickets online, while standing in line. (Cheaper, btw) Got out of line and right into the aquarium.

Loved this aquarium! Came to visit during my trip to New Orleans from NY and it was definitely one of my favorite parts of the trip. I was fun touching the sting rays.

Enjoyed walking through the aquarium. It has nice collection of interesting species.

Only takes about two hours to get through. Parking in the area is expensive.

The Aquarium is a wonderful place to spend the day with the family. The exhibits are engaging and beautiful! Every staff member i have ever encountered has always been kind and eager to help. The only downfall is the fact that parking can be a pain.

We absolutely love the aquarium. It's amazing and beautiful. Don't forget to see the birds.

Amazing adventure!!! Plan to spend at least two hours. Especially perfect if rain disrupts your French Quarter plans. If you love it like i did, join as a member and your ticket price will be credited toward membership.

This is my favorite activity to do during hot summer months.

It was just okay. The gift shop is really nice and decently priced.

Always a great family place to get away from the crowds of the big easy with kids, sometimes crowded yet always a wonderful experience.

We had a reception on the first floor and thoroughly enjoyed the exhibits.

Haven't been to an aquarium in a while so I went and was very pleased with the experience had fun..... Pleasant staff and very knowledgeable!

My family loves the aquarium. We buy the Audubon membership every year so we can go anytime. They are always re-doing exhibits and upping their game. The parakeet point is super fun because you get to feed birds who are flying freely around you. Highly recommend!

Bad quality exhibits, extremely overpriced tickets and those birds that were tied down, truly aggrevating and sad to see

This was an excellent experience in new Orleans. I also learned a great deal about the marine life and cycle. Also for 2$ I got to feed the stingray.

An amazingly perfect experience. Nice displays and a solid staff.

The place is extremely small for the price. Took my daughter and nephew paid $90 for admissions, $25 parking, for a 30 minutes walk. Seriously, this is a outrageous! I'm really upset I spent all this money for absolutely nothing. Really disappointed.

Glad New Orleans has an Aquarium, but we have noticed many of the exhibits are closed or no longer available.

I think I enjoyed this place more than my toddler did!

Loved the Aquarium very exciting especially to my granddaughter. Reasonably priced. Has a gift shop also a petting tank activity area for the kids has some shows included in the price. Thumbs up

Excellent clean family atmosphere with friendly attendants, food court, and easily navigable.

I did not think I was an aquarium snob, but I was not impressed! It was pretty expensive, very crowded, and seemed like a mediocre aquarium.

The birds were awesome and my daughter loved the stingrays and the otters.

Got to see the big city. Now I got to see it and it was cool !

It was a lot of fun. They were under construction in some areas and parking cost almost as much as the tickets to get in but still enjoyed it a lot

Great aquarium. You always want to see more but they had plenty of species. The underwater tunnel is awesome.

I totally geeked out at this aquarium! The animals were very lovely and active. The large viewing ports and aquariums were splendid and full of life. The lighting was just right to show off the vivid colors of the sea life, yet just low enough to mimic the great colors of the sea. Something for the children and the full of life adults, the activities kept me with an adventurous feel the whole time. We loved the parakeet room, the petting pool, and the feeding of the penguins. Only thing I did not like was what they offered for food... there was barely anything appetizing and of course jaw dropping expensive; so eat before or after your trip.

Enjoyed the exhibits. Caught the shark movie in the theatre in 3d.

Went to the theater only. The film about Hurricane Katrina was good info for the kids. About $7 a ticket.

Love the aquarium. Upset the parakeets were closed to visitors due to drizzling rain. Loved the talk between the crab and sea horse.

Please explain to me why you would offer purchasing online but then have it only be a voucher. Meaning even though you paid online you still have to stand in an absurd line to get tickets? Why not just have online tickets so you could buy from your phone and go inside? What year is this?!

I mean I liked all the exhibits, but it was pricy compared to others we've been to.

The kids loved it. I had a great time. Memories were made and, with the whole "Rona" thing, I believe they adjusted very well. I believe the price should have dropped a little bit in light of a few things that were not accessible due to the pandemic, but we had fun.

It was 55 for an adult and child to get in. It was pretty much the same as when I lived here 10 years ago. Love the Mayan and gulf tanks

Fun times. So much to do in this city. Glad we found the time for this adventure.

It's not that big, but there are many fish you don't see in Japan. It took about 2 hours.

During weekdays it can get crowded quickly with multiple school/group trips. But it's a quick trip and they have a good variety of aquatic life to view.

This is a fun adventure for family and tourists of all ages. There are a couple of interactive attractions that you can participate in that are included in the price of admission; like 1 iMax Movie & Stingray Feeding for the cost of the feed, 2$! Special shout out to Justin at the stingray exhibit! He was patient with us as he showed us how to properly hold the fish!
There are sometimes experts walking through the Amazon experience with live reptiles; like Zia the milk-snake! I was able to touch Zia which was especially exciting because she had freshly shed! The handlers were able to tell me some other fun facts about her as well.

The Parakeet Exhibit is also an honorable mention but it s not for the faint at heart!

Overall I Recommend The Trip!

Had a great day at the aquarium! All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We encountered Greg, several times and thoroughly enjoyed our conversation with him. Lots to see and do, you won't be disappointed. Don't miss feeding the parrots!
