We enjoy our Audubon Society's Zoo, Aquarium and Insectireum so much.... I have 2 young special needs grandchildren we buy yearly passes... We can go as often as we like plus all the special events are included as well plus addition discounts on other things... Its a great deal if you have a family because one trip to any of the 3 can almost pay for the yearly pass...

This aquarium actually was a little disappointing. Seemed old and neglected in my opinion. There didn't seem to be as much to see as I expected from other big city aquariums I've visited. I did get a few good pictures but unless there are some extreme changes once is enough.

The aquarium is absolutely stunning on its own and well worth the admission price. As an early Valentine's gift I paid for the Penguin Experience and had an absolutely amazing time. We were able to interact and feed our penguin as well as take home a painting of his feet. Any trip to New Orleans warrants a trip here.

This is an extremely nice aquarium. Great for the whole family. Plenty of interactive things for everyone. It has a nice flow. Everything is well maintained. Very helpful staff. Great location.

Lower your expectations of what a trip to the aquarium should be. With a $30 adult ticket price and a $25 childrens priced ticket, my family was expecting a nice day at the aquarium. When we first arrived, we were surprised at the crowd size during CoVid but we figured that was because this was a good attraction. We were sadly mistaken. We saw 2 sharks. Other than the cool tunnel at the beginning of the tour, we were left feeling like we were charged a full price admission for a half open aquarium. I would skip this attraction on any of our future visits. After paying for 3 hours of parking ($25) and $60 for admission, we had made it through the whole attraction in under an hour. Just not worth the money!

I grew up coming here . My favorite part is the sharks but I love all the animals that we're rescued and put here . If this place would've never existed what would I do to have fun at this place .

It was OK. Ive been to several aquariums and love looking at to marine life. Its not a bad experience, wait till 2019 for the shark and stingrays exibit to open, it will kinda keep you and frinds busy for about an hour maybe 2. Make sure to get the $45 All Audubon exp. With the Aquarium, insecterium and Zoo, it made the Aquarium price reasonable for what you experience and the insecterium is kinda neat but really small. The outdoor parakeete pointe exhibit is a bit lame, unless you buy the $1.50 feed stick with 2 peices of bird seed glued to the end so you can get a bird or 2 to come near you. The more I think about that small portion of birdseed the angrier I get about it. All in all, it's easily an Exp you can skip, its not bad if you need a rainy day project

I love aquariums and visited her alone while my partner was in business meetings. Favorites were the seahorses they had so many and easy to observe. Also the otters were a lot of fun. Easy to do the whole aquarium in a couple of hours. Food at the cafeteria was a little pricey, as can be expected, but the chicken fingers were surprisingly good. Enjoy!

We drove into New Orleans to take our daughter to the aquarium. It was fantastic. You should definitely try to make the scheduled events like the otter training and the penguin feeding. Also, if you live in the area, consider a membership. If you go more than 2-3 times a year to either the aquarium or the Zoo, it pays for itself.

Its a small aquarium compared to others I've been to. Its very clean. There is an aviary of parakeets thats really cool and different. There is also a pool where you can touch the sting rays like they let you do in other aquariums. There is also a theater next to the aquarium where you can catch a short film on a giant screen. Good experience overall.

It was nice enjoyed spending the day with my daughter, but I found it was way to expensive not only do you have to pay to get in but you have to pay to feed the stingrays, feed the parakeets & pay to see a virtual reality movie I thought that was quite ridiculous so I won t be back for that.

Meh. This is only the second aquarium I've ever visited and the first one was in Toronto. The Toronto aquarium is 10 times the size with so much more to experience....for the same price. Audubon left a lot to be desired.

For the size and duration of time we had. It was a perfect day. Majority of exhibits were open and the atmosphere for families was perfect. Hopefully, they will expand. It seems that they are avoiding putting any large marine/ land mammals on exhibit in this post Sea World age we are living in. So do not expect to see dolphins, whales or polar bears. All in all you get a great bang for your buck and it is centrally located for convenience to hotels, shopping, dining and sightseeing.

Well presented layout, wonderful exhibits that are open, but some are under construction. It felt a little worn out, but the people are lovely and the parts that are open are worth the visit.

The perfect spot to enjoy the day alone or with family. Plenty of entertainment options and interesting exhibitions. Plus, it is conveniently located downtown at walking distance from all major attractions in the area.

The parakeets are some of the best parts, but they are adorable little theives. The otters where nice but it was hard to see with everyone crowding the tank. Also look up and see birds.

Little confusing on which way to go at first. There was a very nice staff member who helped us out. My 2 stars were removed because at the parakeet exhibit we bought feed sticks and after we went in we found out the parakeet didn't want anything to do with us.
