We love this aquarium: very interesting, interactive, clean... For the cost of admission, I wish it had a bit more to see, or at least didnt ask you to pay more for several additional attractions. But really the amazon rainforest section is so neat--they even have pitcher plants. Will definitely go again.

A bit expensive (around $100 for 3 people, only stayed 1.5 hours) but was a lot of fun. Wish there were more feeding stations. We live in Austin, super small aquarium, but you do get to feed all the animals. So somehow it is more fun for small children. Overall a great aquarium with many exhibits.

It was a great experience at the Aquarium!!!! I had a good time site seeing, and it was a nice break from the extremely hot weather outside. I have no regrets at all coming to visit the Aquarium. In fact I learned alot by coming to the aquarium and the staff was very nice and friendly to me. Everyone should enjoy coming to the Aquarium because it is a must see in New Orleans!!!!

I'm a little biased because we have a fairly nice aquarium in my hometown, so lets just get that out of the way.

This charge of entry for two people was around 60-65$ which seemed a little steep to me for what was there. The aquarium does have some good exhibits though and is worth checking out - some below.

Jellyfish, Sharks, Rays, Penguins, Sea Otters

Tropical Exhibit
Mississippi Exhibit
Underwater tunnel/walkway
Swim adventure in the water
Touch pools for kids

What a MAJOR disappointment. Very expensive and poor quality care of animals/fish/reptiles. Please save your $ s and plan a trip to the Aquarium in Chicago...I understand that Louisiana is one of the poorest states in the USA...that said the WW 11 museum in amazing as is the food and New Orleans hospitality. A favorite destination.

It was our first time visit in New Orleans so of course we had to visit the aquarium and I can just say it was the best experience ever. Even though the tickets were a little bit pricey but it was worth it. They have a food court area where they make pizzas right away and they were delicious. The outside of the aquarium has a big lot where you can walk around and see the outside before you going in.

Great aquarium, but very congested with tour groups when I went. Got stuck at the top of the escalator with a group of people just standing obliviously in the way. Not safe, as people were trying to get off it had no where to go. Other than that, was a good tour through.

A great place for a family to spend some time together away from all of the mania of the French Quarter. The main aquarium has tons of fish varieties and a few different species of sharks. Penguins area was a family favorite as well as the stingray feeding. If you take your time you can get through everything in under two hours.

This place is so much fun! My fiancee and I took the kids one Saturday and we spent the whole day there. They have places to eat inside, but we skipped that...had an early lunch before we got there.
We got the family pack when it comes to tickets and its so worth it!

A nice place for the family to go to on a Saturday. I definitely recommend getting the Audubon experience to get a bang for your buck. The only con is the zoo is not near the other attractions, so you will need to plan to go early to visit all 3.

I enjoy this aquarium so much. It just keeps going and the set up is very unique, they really try to replicate entire areas as a certain region truly amazing. I took over 250 pictures, let that be a testament

Aquarium is on the smaller side, but still enjoyable to go through. My favorite parts were the parakeet enclosure, the giant tank with sharks and a sea turtle, and the otters. Saw some new fish I haven't seen before, some cool seahorses and jellyfish, and they have a station where you can touch stingrays.

Smaller aquarium than what Ive visited before. Was nice, but only had penguins and otters in addition to various fish. The highlight was the parakeet experience. You purchase food sticks and parakeets land on the stick and feed.
