the wait was long. the experts know their stuff and try their best to explain it to those who haven't a clue. i bet they have a statue of job in their break room. me? i'd tear my hair out at some of the insane questions they're asked. they do push product but that's expected.

So I guess since the company is doing millions everyday they don t care about customer service any more, I bought my ear pods 4 days ago and start having issues with the connection, I make an appointment here to take a look and se what was the issue and waited 2 hours, all to get to the check in department and hear from the check in person that I have to wait another two hours. So disappointed with their horrible customer service. Nothing we can do honestly was their answer.

Right when i walked in, they gave me customer service. They directed right to where i wanted to go and handed me over to another associate. It was a in and out process, i got what i went for and got out.

I was bounced around to upwards of 7 people, most of whom had no interest in helping me with a quick purchase of a screen protector. Yes, a screen protector. Of all the locations in NYC, I will not be back to this one.

Great place, nice and airy. Staff was great and very helpful. There was only on staff member that was rather rude. This staff member seemed like they did not want to be there at all and was bored out of their mind trying their best to get rid of me. Luckily, I managed to lose them after another customer came over and asked for help. I found another rep who was the most lovely of reps and managed to hook me up. The second rep saved this experience from being the most horrible apple experience I ever had to one of the better one.

Always taken care of at this place, Everytime coming in, appointment or not, courteous, friendly and professional. This is why Google are scared to open up proper stores, Apple set the service bar so high. This is from someone thoroughly afloat in the Google ecosystem and formerly apple lappies exclusively BTW Fwiw.

Shoutout to Apple to holding it together amidst a pandemic.

Quick check-in including a quick, verbal wellness questionnaire and temperature check. The staff was as bubbly as always. Nice to see that even in the craziest times, you can still feel like a kid in a candy shop when coming to the Apple store.

Am I the only one who can t wait for the new Apple Watch?

I'm a frequent customer at the grand central location, and I love how flexible, understanding, and innately helpful Apple team members are. That having been said...

Spoke with three different team members at the close of the day and all three were unhelpful, curt, and treated me like a child. They passed me off to each other and literally seemed to not to understand the difference between a screen protector and a privacy shield. I've never been treated with such a disrespectful manner by an Apple employee, never mind several. The SoHo store needs an attitude adjustment. I will not be returning to that store at any point in the near future.

Cookie cutter apple store. I have had more friendly help and more service in the apple stores near me for sure as no one came to help us out when we were there. One guy who was at the front helped us however with our stroller, very lovely man.

Recently my new MacBook Air keyboard stopped working properly. It was apparent that the rest of the device was working because when I was able to turn the device on, everything else worked. Battery, trackpad, hard drive all appeared to be fine. I brought my computer in to this location and I was told they couldn't get the machine to turn on (power button is part of the keyboard), that there was water damage and that the repairs would be $700. I never got water on the device, so I was beside myself and insisted that Apple try an alternative way to turn it on. The Apple "Genius" showed no interest in what I had to say, no regard for the fact that I was blindsided and upset, and even had a slight smirk on his face; he seemed happy that "there was nothing they could do" and that made it all the more infuriating. I asked to speak to their manager, and I vented a bit. She was nicer, but said all she could do was take $70 off and help finance the repairs. I left with no resolution, and what seemed to be a $1200 paperweight.

I waited a couple of days and took my machine to the Apple Store in Huntington, NY. I explained my experience in SoHo and they apologized and said they would happily take another look. Within 5 minutes, they came back and confirmed the only issue they could see was with the keyboard; this location thought to take the battery out and put it back in to see if the computer would turn back on, which it did. The Genius at this location was outstanding, but because the previous store indicated water damage in the notes she was forced to send the computer to the repair depot. She said as long as there was no further indication of water damage, the device would be covered under AppleCare. The SoHo store didn't even bother with this option and instead tried to slap a $700 charge on me immediately.

In the end there was no actual water damage, my computer was fixed under AppleCare within 2 days and it is now working like new. The SoHo store is a disgrace to customer service, and their conduct in this instance was nothing short of abhorrent. I will never go back there despite the convenient location and suggest other Apple customers do the same.

I went to this Apple Store on Sunday 24 Sep 2017, with a good friend who has a visual impairment and is basically a novice, with an iPhone.
Worked with Debra (Deborah), who was fantastic!!!
She was very knowledgeable, a wonderful teacher and very patient with my friend. Answered all of her questions and reviewed concepts with her, until she had a full understanding.
Great customer service! Thanks so much!

This Apple store is always crowded you better make reservations if you d like to see Apple Geniuses technical support and care. If you walk in from the street and ask about repairs your likely to be waiting for many hours. This location is very popular with the Tourists since it s located in the middle of soho shopping

Og concept store, but has maybe run it's course but will probably never evolve or change. Just like me, i guess we all have our flaws and i come on here to point them out and feel better about myself. But maybe I'm as empty as a display box, I don't know.

Ok place, but awful products. My barely used iWatch in immaculate physical condition stopped working less than a month after the warranty ran out and they wanted $199 to fix it. Apple is not the same post Jobs. Product quality took a nose dive as soon as he passed.

I would not recommend this site. I just want to buy an iphone. The customer support 1told me I can talk to anyone on the first floor. That was a lie as the customer support 2 gave me a cold shoulder and asked me to wait in line (shown below). I waited in line for more than 10min to buy an iPhone (2min process).

Linda!
