Its one of the first Apple stores in NYC, this one is still going strong. A good opportunity to check out Apple tech and the staff strike a nice balance of being available to answer questions without hovering over

Minus 1 star because there s no bathroom in this location and it s not fun to both be in the store because your phone or whatever is broken but add on having to go to the bathroom after an hour .. otherwise i will say it s the best staff that I ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with in an apple store! Knowledgeable, friendly and nice, helpful and so much more

Apple is not my favorite brand, and most of thwir stores are crowded almost always (specially the one by Central Park). Soho store however, is a nice place to shop, not as crowded as other stores, and help staff is particularly friendly there

Staff very helpful but store layout is quite confusing. There are no signs or prices anywhere and all the phone models look the same, so to compare I have to go to their website and choose 2 models to compare, instead of seeing all the information in one place. If that is any indication of how user friendly iOS is, then I think I'll stay with Android.

Sigh. C'mon, it's an Apple store. Rating them is like rating a McDonalds. For community outreach they have frequent events, but due to the city's overabundance of Appleheads you'll more likely find yourself in line than inside. I'll say it: it's the place to go if you want to meet a dweeb.

Today 07/27/2017 at 11 AM my daughter had an appointment at the genius bar bc her Iphone 6s died this morning!!! The employee took her phone inside and a few minites later said: sorry nothing could be done, maybe was the battery or something else and send her home! I dont need to say how upset she was returning home with this dead phone! I said to her not to worry , at the end of the day i took her to a small sore in astoria that repair phones, he opened the phone, put a new batery and charged me $48.99 with taxes. Excellent customer services and fast

I have iPhone 6s, after upgrading it to IOS 11, it started to be extremely slow, unresponsive, and turn off by its own, and suddenly photo album got mixed up. I made an appointment to see a technician , I went there and he said your iphone warranty has expired so you need to pay $250 to swap it. It s not my f*** fault, it s your stupid iOS 11 update is the one f**** up my phone. Seriously Apple is doing nothing good at all, I just don t trust them no more. I m seriously considering switching to Samsung or google.

My favorite Apple Store where you will find celebrities and other people in the SOHO area. You can come here for the free internet. Take the classes that they sometimes provide. The mini ipad is a wonderful device thats portable and sleek looking. Don't miss while in the area.

Went to pick up a few items on behalf of a frnd and i was in and out in less than ten minutes. They check your temp bfr entering and you must be wearing a mask. Everyone was super courteous and effortless. Love It.

Solid location. It's my favorite Apple store in the city as I find it less crowded than others. They also have a space upstairs for talks and presentations, which are always fun (check the schedule online to see if you can catch you favorite celebrities chatting about their new movies).

The manager was completely dismissive and not showing any carer. In 2019 my screen was replaced on an issue that screen robbed the keyboard and left a line in the middle of the screen. . It was fixed based on a manufactured defect. This time he would not do it simply because my Apple care had expired. Seeing customers as dollar signs is wrong and sad. I am a student I can not afford throwing money at Apple products.

I have a pretty heavy 27' imac and I live in Brooklyn. No Apple stores in Brooklyn! This sucks! Because I have to take my imac to Manhattan to get it fixed. Everyone knows that it's almost impossible to drive to Manhattan without getting fined. Of course the store in Soho doesn't have their own parking, and the nearest parking (which is quite expensive) is a mile away, I can not carry my PC that far. So, I though I'd park my car next to the store for a minute just to drop my mac and find a parking spot. But no way! When you get inside, you have to stay with your computer, no one will be watching it for you, so it is totally your problem where to park and how to bring your PC. I think the Apple care protection plan sucks. I purchased a 3 year apple care protection plan, so what? Now, my pc is broken (something wrong with the hard drive) and I'm told I have to pay another $108 (for the defective imac produced by Apple). So, I paid for "apple care" I think it was $150, and now have to pay $108 to fix the problem plus for double parking ticket $130. Either Apple should have more convenient locations with some parking available or it should have some technicians on wheels. Why not? I'm a woman and it's difficult to carry a heavy pc around. I think it's just not fair. I will never buy any Apple products again! Never! Btw, i have an iphone which is defective too, it keeps freezing all the time. OK, I'm sorry, I'm just really pissed off now. Maybe it's not fair to blame this exact store but now I hate everything that has connection to Apple.

This Apple Store is situated in a nice and tight location, off to the side of the hustle and bustle of SoHo. Much like most of the Apple Stores I have visited, the staff are bubbly, energetic, and always willing to help.

I have had issues with my iPhone and MacBook Pro a couple of times, and being able to quickly run to this store to have the Genius Bar take a look at my devices was very convenient. The wait is never too long, someone is always available to take a look, and the staff makes sure you understand what's going on.

At peak hours, however, the space does get crowded with a lot of prospective customers, tourists there just to check out Apple devices, and people seeking for help at the Genius Bar.

In sum, I have no complaints about this Apple Store. It is located in a great area, has staff always willing to help, and overall, is a great experience whether you're a prospect buyer, or you're looking to get your Apple device fixed.
