I'm thankful for the accommodation. I have a salesman, Larry Zimmerman, who is the BEST EVER but he works for Andy Mohr Chevy in Plainfield. I found a GMC that I liked. They worked it out where Larry could come to Fishers GMC from Plainfield and be my salesman. This is my 3rd purchase of new vehicles, and we've referred 2 to Larry who purchased from him too. I appreciate Andy Mohr's dealerships doing this for us.

From my initial experience of purchasing the new car and being told one thing and delivered another to having the transmission go out 2k miles over the drivetrain warranty and having the service dept be unwilling to work with me, Andy Mohr's customer service has been an absolute disappointment. From their lack on compassion for a new vehicle's transmission going out 2 1/2 years after they sold it new, to the painful process of waiting to eventually speak with a manager, Andy Mohr has delivered one of the worst customer experiences I have ever experienced.
I would strongly recommend a different GMC dealership.

We test drove several vehicles yesterday an found one we were interesting pay full asking price for. All were wanting was to pay off our trade in. The manager asked us at the end of the day if they were to give us the price needed to pay off our trade in if they would have our business. We told him yes; however, we needed to pick up our boys before daycare closed. We get a call later twice that night and again this morning offering below our pay off amount. Andy Mohr does not keep their word and low ball you on your trade in. Do your research before coming here. We knew our pay off as well as what our car was worth via N.A.D.A (what the banks use when you get a loan). N.A.D.A was at least $2,000 more than what they were offering for our car.

I had several issues with the Buick I purchased. ...

I had several issues with the Buick I purchased. The first incident was a few weeks after my purchase where the vehicle lunged into a middle of an intersection. I was told by the service department that they could not recreate the condition. After doing my own investigation I found there were numerous complaints regarding this condition. Ultimately, the service department told me it was a software issue and there was no solution. I was advised to continue to drive the vehicle in the current condition. The second issue left me in rush hour commuter traffic where I lost power and the vehicle shut off. Again, the service department told me they could not recreate the condition and therefore could not offer a resolution and to drive the car as is. Both responses were unsatisfactory.

The dealership's standard "we cannot duplicate the condition and therefore cannot repair the vehicle" is unacceptable. They are not inclined to further investigate any condition if the solution is not immediately available through prompts or codes even though bulletins or letters have been transmitted. They are lazy. They are not customer oriented and have no desire to satisfy the customer.

I had a good salesmen at Andy Mohr Buick GMC and also liked the loan department person. I was was not as happy with the $2000 dollar trade in that was listed on the site that was overly misleading. I did end up with a good car and I am happy with it. If you see the trick on the web site about trade in don t believe it or count on it as it is not true at all.

I was referred to a great salesman, Brian Stegall. He was down to earth, straight forward, honest and easy to work with. From start to finish, Brian made me feel he cared about what I wanted and worked hard to make that happen with his manager. I also appreciate all that the manager did for me as well. I got to sign and drive away with a vehicle better than I expected to be driving. I would refer anyone to go to GMC on 131 St on 37.

I m writing this in hopes that it doesn t happen to someone else. I called this dealership 45 minutes away to make sure a car was available and it was. I told them I was coming to look at it and was very interested in buying it. I d looked for weeks and finally thought I found the one . The sales manager said he d have it out and ready for me to look out. I get there and it s not out and ready.

A sales associate comes to help me and pulls the car around. I start to look at it. It was listed as an Elantra Limited with many features such as heated leather seats, blind spot detection, heated mirrors, and more. The first thing I notice are cloth seats and I tell the gal this can t be the right car because it s not as described. I was then told there must have been a mistake in some features according to the listing, but it was never disclosed that it was a completely different model. The paperwork I signed even says limited as the style. I called Hyundai Customer Care and they informed me I had the base model. I tried calling Andy Mohr to talk to the sales manager who transferred me to the sales associate. There s nothing she could do but confirm it is the base model go over the features of the car I actually bought. I tried contacting someone higher up and she couldn t get anyone to talk to me either. I was misinformed and would not have purchased the vehicle had I known exactly what I was buying. You can find the same car (the base model) with 10,000-20,000 less miles for the same price elsewhere. Do your due diligence before purchasing a used car here... even better idea, you might want to steer clear. I feel sorry for the associate as she did the best she could with what she had to work with. I will not be doing business here again and it s a real shame too because my first car was bought at Andy Mohr and that was a great experience. Now I cannot trust this company with my business. Very sad indeed. Contacted the BBB and FTC as well.

Jon and Jeff were very professional, Jon explained all numbers in detail and was very helpful. Enjoyed working out a deal with him. Jeff was very good, going over the vehicle explaining how everything operated. Kathy and I had a very good experience at Andy Mohr GMC, Buick for the first time being there. The financial person was very good also knew the options we could do. And was very helpful. Thank you for the experience.

I purchased a used Terrain from Andy Mohr Buick GMC and had a better than normal experience with this dealership. They went above and beyond in terms of making things work for my deal and the experience was fairly quick and snag free. They were timely, professional and had my best interest in mind. I would recommend this dealership to friends or family for purchasing at least. Can't speak for service as I haven't had any.
Update: In the few months of owning the Terrain I purchased at Andy Mohr I would rate it as the worst vehicle I've ever owned. After purchasing I've found out that it's been wrecked and has 5 owners in it's three years of life. Not something that was given up by the dealership either. Problem after problem and not small ones either. I wouldn't recommend the vehicle or the dealership to anybody shopping for a vehicle.

My GMC 2500 HD has a recalled airbag. I also have a slight crack in the dash around the airbag which is a defect as well. The initial person I spoke to told me they would be mindful of the crack and if further damage was caused they would take care of it. When the airbag came in the individual on the phone was rude and let me know they would not be responsible even if they broke it and that i would have to pay for that. I am now forced to pay for a new dash if broken if I want passengers to safely ride in the vehicle. I have bought vehicles from this dealer before and was treated poorly after the initial purchase so I am not surprised by the way this was handled.

Vehicle developed a serious electrical problem immediately. It occurs so frequently that I can't believe they didn't know about it. They've not responded to my emails.

The issue is terrifying. Dash basically shuts off and key functions such as the speedometer and turn signals don't work.

Every car needs maintenance upkeep.

Every car needs maintenance upkeep.

Unfortunately, some cars new and used have mechanical problems.

Every used car buyer is afraid of buying a car with mechanical problems.

Some used cars have warranties. There is obviously no way all used cars can have warranties. At a certain vehicle age, mileage, or price point it is not expected.

Every car dealer that sells used cars hopes the used cars they sell don't have mechanical problems and the buyers enjoy their new purchase.

My retired mother bought a used car from Andy Mohr Buick GMC. In less than 300 miles it had A LOT of mechanical (not maintenance) problems.

Andy Mohr stood by their 3 month warranty even though that meant they absolutely lost money on the sale of that used car. Bob, the service repair rep, made sure that my mom, who was both upset and insecure about the whole process, knew he was going to do his best to figure out what was wrong and make it right.

It was very unfortunate that her car had such a big problem. I wanted to thank you for standing by your sale, your word and your warranty. I truly hope situations like my mom's don't happen often in your shop. But I wanted car buyers who are in the used car market will know that you are a good company and you treated my mom well.

I have no problem with their sales or quick lubes, but the main shop angered me. Sent my truck in for 2 recalls. Sat there for 6 hours and than found out that someone in the back damaged my driver door. Ok things happen set up an appointment for them to fix it. Dropped of truck on Saturday for work to be done Monday and got a loaner. Ok this is good. Fixing the damage free of charge and getting a loaner free. Well they didn't inform me that they would even look at my truck until after Christmas. I wish I'd known that I would have waited until after the holidays. But I was told that it would have been repaired on Monday. Now I'm going on 2 weeks without my truck.

Decent experience overall. Our sales associate was new, which was fine. We were handed the keys after our truck was ready for pickup and thanked. As we stood there looking at the truck, we realized that we knew nothing about the gadgets / electronics within the truck, so we asked another sales associate if the dealerships no longer do that.... They quickly found someone to go through things with us. That associate was very thorough.... The newby was there by their side... It was a good learning opportunity.

I went in at approximately 3 PM this afternoon. I had been to several different lots through the course of the morning / afternoon, just looking. I had never financed a vehicle and was not willing to just accept something. Upon entering, everyone was acceptionally busy. Two different associates asked what we needed and made sure that someone from sales was coming to see us. Luther Ross was the gentleman who i wound up working with. I can tell you from a first time buyers prespective, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend ANYONE I know or love to this dealership and to EVERYONE I encountered during this experience. From start to finish..each person made 100% sure I was satisfied and comfortable with the quality of vehicle and service I was receiving. Not only did they stay after to finish up the sale, I was escorted to the gas station to fill my tank, and then directed to a local restaurant that Luther recommended. Whatever commission any of them made, in my opinion is not enough. I personally work in customer service as a waitress so I know, appreciate, and respect all of those who work at Andy Mohr for the dedication and hard work they put in to provide this man with such a quality business!!!

I've had my eye on the 2018 Lacrosses and came to ...

I've had my eye on the 2018 Lacrosses and came to test drive some. I tend to keep my cars a long time, and I also tend to get very bothered by squeaks/rattles in a vehicle that costs in excess of $30k...it's a lot of money to spend and I think most would agree that expecting quality fit/finish shouldn't be out of line.

I told my salesman, Luther, several times I wanted to try and drive a few of the Lacrosses. He kept pushing back that I should just look at the one I like the most since they are "all the same". I made it clear that no two cars are identical, and at sticker prices over $40k I want the car to meet my standards.

One car drove very smooth but there was a very noticeable interior squeak in the rear every time I pulled the car to the right...and only when I pulled it to the right. (He was not in the car to hear it....but told me "it's probably just a nut rolling around" and dismissed what I was saying). The second car had no interior noises at all, but there was something wrong with the drivers window. Not only would it not roll down at first, there was very loud wind noise coming through. Definitely not normal.

After driving the second car, I asked to drive a third, final one. This is when Luther started to turn nasty. He said "they all drive the same" and continued to say that these cars have zero squeaks or rattles. I said that's ridiculous...ALL cars with plastic interiors are prone to it, but some are better than others. For him to suggest otherwise and to start arguing with me about it was offputting. He than said "does YOUR car have squeaks?" which is a joke....it has 130k miles. Of course it does.

He proceeded to ask me which car I wanted, to which I said I want to still drive the 3rd one to see. He continued to tell me to just settle on the colors I wanted and I said I wouldn't. Note that I was not acting belligerent or arrogant....I was very tired having driven from Chicago earlier in the day dealing with a family emergency and was more subdued than usual, if anything. He finally got the keys to the 3rd one and it wouldn't start.

I told him I'd just come back Monday and test drive it after they got it running, but he wasn't having it. He took my trade-in keys to the front desk to have someone appraise my car, though he had the keys for about 20 minutes up to that point while I was on a test drive....frustrated at that fact, I at first said I'd rather just do all that Monday and he responded "WE'LL DO IT NOW!" and huffed up to the desk. I then got angry and said it was late (close to closing time) and I'd just do it Monday and he REFUSED. These are the car dealership experiences my dad spoke of often from the '70s....I thought we'd moved past this type of behavior.

Luther and I then talked price for a bit (since I was stranded without my keys) and then after the appraisal was done and my keys handed back to me, he flat out refused to tell me what it was appraised at. He said he didn't know. I told him the appraiser would know and to ask him, and he said the appraiser didn't know - which, of course, was ridiculous and I said so. I said I would not come back Monday if I didn't know that we were in the ballpark. He said "you know what your car is worth" and I said yes - about $7500 - and he said "then we're in the ballpark!" with nothing but frustration.

In my years, I've never dealt with a salesperson like this, and I'm annoyed enough that I had to say something. It takes a LOT for me to get riled up and write about something, but it needs to be said.

ANDY.....ANDY......ANDY..... What is going on at t...

ANDY.....ANDY......ANDY..... What is going on at this dealership? After 5/6 cars in the last 10-12 years, I have purchased my last from this dealership.
When did you get so big that customer service has been lost and greed taken over?
I'm not the brightest man around, but I am smart enough to know that a $40000 car should not be a $900 car payment for a person with an 800 credit score. After questioning this and doing some math, it appears there was about $4000-5000 in extra fees added on at a very high interest rate. The sales person said this was done on all deals, but I didn't have to take the extra "HIDDEN" items if I didnt find value. WHAT IF I DIDNT CATCH THE HIDDEN ITEMS ANDY???? WOULD I STILL BE ON THE HOOK FOR THEM?

This in unfair business practice. I will be reporting to the BBB. I feel bad for the people who dont catch things like this. I sincerely hope people read this review and take this dealership at BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!
Make any dealer itemize all charges and know what you are paying for and if you are required to buy it!!!!!

Also, after reading other reviews, be careful of the used cars on this lot. Read the Reviews !!!!

Women beware. My husband, son, and I went to look at an used car this Saturday. After trying to negotiate a price with Yogi our salesperson, we asked to talk directly to the sales manager to talk
about final offer. I can t recall his name but he did not even acknowledge me sitting at the table. He shook my husband s hand and my son s hand and wouldn t even look at me. Then when we got ready to leave since they wouldn t come down one penny on the price of the car, he shock both of their hands and walked away. Little did he know, I was the one that had the money. We definitely will not go back that dealership.

Searched online for the car we were looking for. Andy Mohr had it under market value and under the mileage we wanted. We live 45 miles away. When we got there Robert Sprowl had it pulled up for us and had us in and out of there faster than we thought. Alex Nguyen from finance was very helpful and personable. There were several experiences about my visit that...

There were several experiences about my visit that left me with a bad impression. First, and not a huge deal, was a commitment to get my vehicle done on a particular day if I dropped the vehicle off and left it overnight. I received a call mid afternoon to say that it would be another two days because 'the job was a big one and would take awhile', but the labor to complete was already known.

I felt that the service representative was dishonest and trying to persuade additional work that was not necessary. I requested an alignment and he told me that it would be worthless unless I also had the shock absorbers replaced. The shocks do not affect wheel alignment on the rear of the 2011 Acadia. I mentioned this and he came up with an excuse to try and back out of his comment. He previously had quoted me a very high price to have this work done. I told him I'd let him know after I'd looked into it. In the mean time I researched the OEM part price, and what was required and found it to be a very simply job with inexpensive parts. I questioned his quote and he quickly commented that he misquoted the job (by over 30%). Had I not known what was involved it would have been a couple hundred dollars additional out of my pocket from what seems like a dishonest attempt. Any number of people would not have questioned this.

All said and done, they performed the work that I requested but I am curious if a piece that they were to replace was actually replaced. I went to look at the receipt to check the part number and get an idea what it was that they said they were replacing to find that none of that portion of the job was included on the receipt.

Overall I feel like they were tremendously dishonest and I do not intend to return.

MISLEADING! BAD BUSINESS. They literally photoshopped/edited the photo of the vehicle. Drove an hour to discover that the sunroof is popped up on one side and won't shut. Even button on inside of vehicle is hanging from ceiling. Photo shows it is closed completely but is fuzzy so they either used a brushing tool or taped it shut for the photo.

This is a mixed review: My salesperson (Herve ) was very nice, very patient and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him. The bad is though, the used car sales manager was a horrible, rude, person. He practically shouted at me, and it was him alone, why I did not move forward with the deal. We were so close! As far as I can tell, the general manager was also very nice, and easy to work with.

Bought car morning 4/13/19, had test driven 4/12/1...

Bought car morning 4/13/19, had test driven 4/12/19 for test drive. All was fine on test drive. After buying as I was driving home, after about 20 miles, engine developed a noticeable tick. After arriving home I went to check oil and it was almost 2 quarts over filled. I had looked at this day before but car had new oil change and was very hard to see on dipstick. I actually drained and changed oil (that's how I know how much it was over filled). The tick wasn't caused by being overfilled, in fact, it's worse with correct amount of oil. Appears a couple extra quarts were added to hide the noise just long enough to sell the car. I called right as I got home (before checking anything) but the salesman I was referred to wouldn't answer page or cell number listed on his business card. I understand as-is but I expect at least honesty and no tricks. Masking an engine noise with extra oil was a dirty trick. If you deal with Andy Mohr GMC Buick in Fishers, you 'd better be go in with zero trust because if they did it to me, they'll do it to you, too.
4/15 update: Salesman finally returned my call, said service dept. wanted to see car. It there now and they said they would call me on 4/16/19 but no one called. They wanted me to pay for a rental car, of all things. I declined. I thought they wanted the car to fix it and make things right, but now since no one called as they said they would I think this was just another lie / trick. I wish I had never dealt with this dealer. The car is a lemon and has major issues. They should, at this point, unwind the deal so we can go our separate ways. 4/17/19 update: still no contact was me to me by service dept. or anyone else from this dealer. 4/18/19 update After making calls and emails someone finally called back. An angry sounding man said the car only needed lifters replaced and that had nothing to do with oil as I stated in my google review. Well, lifters don't just spontaneously fail, and they are directly related to oil. In the cars lifetime it was either ran for a prolonged time low on oil, or the oil changes were severely neglected, or both. Whatever series of events caused lifters to fail didn't just occur to lifters, but happened to whole engine. Replacing lifters may calm the noise for a while, but without fixing the the cause of their failure will guarantee they will fail again. If they failed to lack of proper maintenance the whole engine has to have been effected. Cam, valves, crank, bearings, the whole engine would have suffered and will have a shortened lifetime because of it. No one with any sense would to pay thousands for a car they know the engine will fail in before it would under normal conditions. Replacing lifters is a temporary fix to make a noise stop. Why they haven't started the process of unwinding the deal yet makes no sense to me. The car, even with replaced lifters, still has engine that had a traumatic past to have caused issue in first place.
