Food was nice, but service left a little to be desired.

Was in a group of three and we all ordered at the same time, albeit under three separate orders.

Two came out very quickly, but I had to wait at least ten minutes for mine and chased twice in this time.

A very touristy pub, which I normally try and stay away from, but I actually like this place. Great location by the river, lovely outdoor area and great tasting ale.

Well priced beer and even the food isn't too bad.

Busy bank holiday weekend in great weather but it seems this had not been anticipated and the small number of staff seemed to struggle to cope. Took an age to get served and the toilets were in a state. Great spot by the river though!

Situated at the Thames riverbank classic pub with tasty food and nice selection of beer and wide variety of other liquors. Helpful staff. Marvellous place if you want to go for Sunday Roast as well as if you're willing to paint the town red.

Nice large pub with great views. Allegedly Samuel Pepys sat there and watched the fire of London burn on the other side of the river. Have eaten before but this time went to nearby borough market. Is a greene king pub so food much the same as you can get anywhere. Nice pub though for a drink

Liking this pub recently, very cosy with rustic character inside and a great selection of booze (Hop House on tap). Great location on the river by the bridge, even does very decent fish and chips!

Terribly rude eastern European barmaid with long blonde hair. Actually put me off ordering my drinks so I left. Would never go back again! Please train your staff so they can provide good customer service.

At first we thought it's a nice location. Nice, beautiful building and we got a table on the little terrace on top. On this day (Sunday) they promoted the Sunday's roast. We had to go downstairs to order. Nobody cleaned our table and there were lots of crumbs from the last visitors. When we received our food we were really happy, because it looked really nice. Somehow it tasted nice too, but when you have a better look at the dishes you can see the problems: The socalled "chicken breast" was compressed chicken meat, the meat from the roast was a bad quality meat - it was hard to chew, the cole slaw dressing was pure fat and the salad dressing wasn't home made, the potatoes from the roast were hard as stone, because of too long frying. The only nice dish were the Nachos with several dips. Toilets were disgusting, staff wasn't prudent at all. They just served food and that's it.

We visited this Pub on our way back to Hotel after visiting the SHARD .

This pub is just on the bank side of Thames river and it has seating both inside and outside .

It looks historic with wooden ceiling .

Has good collection of drinks and food is okay

The chairs outside offer good view of Thames overlooking bridges across Thames and St Paul s Cathedral in the backdrop .

Good place to visit

Interesting pub, Samuel Peyps took shelter in this pub druing the great fire of London and wrote how he could see the fire spreading, Unfortunately later the pub burned down in a seperate incident and was rebuilt later.

Classic English pub on the Thames waterfront. Caters to tourists more than locals. The Sunday roast was dry, and the gravy was forgotten. Service was not great, had to wait for 45 minutes to receive a small serving of horseradish (which was also forgotten from the dish originally). I would recommend this place more for casual drinks after walking the south bank.

It's fine if you come to London as a tourist and see its red facade and go in for a beer. If you are or live in London, it is not so good as it is always full and the prices are already a bit inflated. Its location is very good since it is very close to the borough market, where there is a lot of atmosphere and it has magnificent views of the Thames.
