Very good food, comfortable hotel, acceptable price

Very big hotel, with benefits according to the expectations.
I like the sports area with indoor pool, outdoor pool, gym, sauna and steam room! Great a relaxing time before eating.
Very good value for money.

Large establishment not too far from the centre. The initial room they assigned to us smelled really bad and they gave us another option. They didn't manage the swap in a professional manner, as they made us feel pretentious, but in the end we were happy with the new room assigned. Breakfast for us was included but the offer is very small and of low quality. The bus to the city centre is not very reliable, but we were staying just for a couple of days so didn't matter too much. The indoor pool gets really crowded, so it's better to go first thing in the morning, even though the cleaning staff is actually cleaning the pool around 9 am so if you go at 8 you'll find rubbish from the day before.

Very clean and calm hotel, very good welcome, great swimming pool at good temperature with sauna and hammam spacious rooms with a nice decoration, the towels in bins and red paper petals. 2 single bed pasted together with the addition of a small 2-seater mattress to make a double bed, but this very comfortable super night in this hotel.

The downside would be the restaurant, the breakfast was impeccable, plentiful with plenty of choice and as much as you want.



Bad cooking of meat in 2 plates, one asked for rare and arrived well done, the other asked for well done and arrived at point then the potato tiles were cooked from a crisp to mole not very pleasant to eat. And we had a haughty Waitress with a forced service feel with a fake smile which made the meal a bit more spoiled.

Not very impressed. 4 of the 5 plug sockets in my room were broken, the room smelled of stale water, maybe coming from aircon or bathroom, and there is no iron in the room. Should not be a 4 star hotel.

Nice nice hotel, swimming pool and perfect facilities as well as the rooms, however the breakfasts are too expensive compared to the services offered! In addition, no acceptable delay margin from 10:15 am they repack so that at 10:30 am it is over! And a small smile from the reception staff would not be too much !!

For our first stay in Luxembourg, this hotel was really perfect. Beautiful, spacious, friendly staff and very good table. We were able to enjoy the privatized "bowling" room and the indoor pool (the one outside was not open we were in April). So we spent two nights in a king bed which I can not fault for the bedding. The garden part that is huge and beautiful, perfect to land under a tree with a good book.

The only downside I will say the wait for service in the evening but is quickly forgiven so the dishes are quality.

I keep a fabulous memory and hope to return soon.

Chic hotel. Generally in Luxembourg, prices bite. I had to take it, and did not regret it. The rooms are super, there is a pool and sauna. Breakfast is great! Recommend!

Did not stay but went for the recruitment of the new Auchan bell gold in Luxembourg but the hotel is very very nice.

Nice hotel. You can come here with your dog. This costs 20.00 per night and cannot be left alone in the room. Dog is allowed in the restaurant. Very friendly staff. At the time we were there it was very hot and the air conditioning in the room had a hard time. The free wifi did not work well. Less range in the rooms and very slow. Not the ability to watch Netflix (may have been a snapshot). Rooms are quite noisy from the air conditioning and loading and unloading in the morning.

Great setting and well placed 5 minutes from downtown. Home, service, and atmosphere at the top. The rooms are large and clean. For a romantic weekend or to visit the city.

Clean and tidy hotel with a swimming pool inside and outside, had a great stay

Very bad experience. Heating that did not work (in winter, it's a shame). Fine walls like cigarette paper, you could hear the neighbors talking. Single beds and narrow (yet I am not obese). Very disappointed, I do not recommend spending a night there. We stayed in room 227, with a group of 8 people in the adjoining rooms that were so noisy that the front desk and the police were forced to come.

Staff not friendly (reception, bar, restaurant, ...) no smile. Airco in room worthless.

Nice hotel with large rooms, great great pool, great sauna, hammam and fitness area. Very cozy bed, friendly multilingual staff. Deduction for a 4-star hotel unworthy breakfast buffet and the problem that the rooms are partly so that the activities in the delivery area unfortunately until late and from early to hear clearly. Absolutely positive: on the noise addressed me immediately for the next night another room offered. It was quiet there, too.

Hotel downstairs great and modern. Rooms look good too. Bad big with a shower but unfortunately all silicone joints were mushroomed. When you check in you will be stolen directly for 70 euros for the mini bar. If you do not use anything you get this back when checking out. Personally, I do not think that's good, but a lot has happened.
Since the hotel is very large there is also a lot of bustle and wait at breakfast. A quiet breakfast in the hustle and bustle is not possible.

Eurodance dance event, good buffet, good orchestra, we had a great time.

Stayed in the hotel for two nights in December 2014, as part of a larger group. My room was ok but one of the bathrooms in another room stank because of inappropriate plumbing. Food in the restaurant was fine and the personnel in there was efficient albeit when crowded they messed up some of the orders. Most importantly, the hotel charged my (and the other people from my group) twice the amount due - once when the booking was made (although we checked in as due) and another time when payment was made. The latter was merely blocked, although we were assured of the contrary, whereas the former was paid. I find this unnacceptable as it takes time to unblock the amounts undue.

Excellent treatment. Hotel clean. Rooms small but comfortable and well equipped. The shower threw the water out. The spa is included and worth taking advantage of, more after a long day of sightseeing. The restaurant slow, very slow, more than an hour waiting for food after ordering, price ratio quantity, expensive. The breakfast buffet is worth it but if you do not want to wait in line it is better than early risers. I would repeat though I would not go to the restaurant for dinner.

update: as you can see from the hotel's reply, they don't really address problems

Very clean and nice. Room was spacious with huge bathroom, big wardrobe, safe, large tv and view of the high mountain with trees. Large parking spot. Good sized pool. Cleaning staff were extremely nice and polite

Issues I had:
- The shower wasn t working properly in my room. It started by alternating between cold and boiling water then only boiling water. My daughter was about to be burned before I grabbed her quickly. I flagged it the next day to the reception and they said will be fixed. I went out all the day then at night asked the unfriendly receptionist about it and she said normally it will be fixed without even checking, i asked her politely to check but she insisted it s generally fixed. Went to my room and it was still not working again alternating temperature. I left the next day. - Half reception staff were not friendly, others were. I had 2 that are really bad and 2 that are good. My friend had someone that was insisting on something the doesn t make any sense in credit card payment and when my friend tried to explain she said to him are you interrupting me!!! How can this be even a customer service?! You shouldn t have unfriendly faces when you go to reception. - would have been nice if there were iron or kettle in the room. Also no complementary items as in most hotels.

Nice room and modern facility but average breakfast. Professional staff and very attentive. Free parking.

Superb location, forest as far as the eye can see. Near the center and shops, easy access. Bedding to review, mattress at the end of life. Shower not practical and the air conditioning that cooled not fast enough and very noisy. Friendliness of the reception staff to review.

Great location. Fantastic swimming pool. Excellent sauna great customer services. Amazing breakfast. The location is what you'd want after a long flight or a quiet place to relax a weekend away.

I stayed in the parc apartment paying 1450 + 160 cleaner charge. Avoid people the place is tiny and dull. I feel so ripped off

Location just outside the center. But based on the booking website, we expected a spa hotel, yet the hotel is more of a conference hotel offering some spa services.
Hotel room is fine, bed is comfy. Bathroom clean so overall fine hotel.

Some of the staff seems overwhelmed (while it is not busy) but they do seem friendly.
Outside pool (and parking) is stacked with locals (and their kids) - which is understandable considering the outside temperature, but does not make the pool experience any special to me as a hotel guest. Nor do the prices for the massage either, by the way.
And WiFi, though free of charge is very slow.

After dinner, we asked at the reception desk for two extra pillows which were not available at the reception, but we were told housekeeping would bring them to our room. After about 45 minutes we called reception to ask where the pillows were. A brief apology followed after the receptionist mentioned she would check with housekeeping.

After another 30 minutes still no extra pillows as per our request. I would honestly prefer an honest answer of extra pillows are not available than no answer at all.

All in all, the overall experience is fine. Price/quality is ok. But a 3 star rating due to the pillow experience and the crowded pool.

Good points :
- very friendly staff (except a waitress at the bar on Saturday 02/15 in the evening)

- correct breakfast

Negative points :
- the hotel hosts events, this Saturday night there was a corporate party on the ground floor, music was heard on the 5th floor until dawn. Impossible to rest peacefully. I can't even imagine those who were on the 1st floor.
- pool water temperature too cold
- sauna area too small compared to the capacity of the hotel, so no deckchair for everyone and access to the sauna / hammam limited unless they are on top of each other
- quality of bedding to review
- lack of coffee / tea maker in the room
- we called room service which did not answer the phone, we had to call the front desk to successfully order

The host responds to the comments by specifying that they are escalating internally ... but obviously not really since some points have already been mentioned by others and it has not changed anything

We stayed at your hotel from April 30, 2019 to May 1, 2019.
On the morning of May 1, 2019, we wanted to have breakfast and for this purpose, we gave our coupons to your receptionist. She asked us to wait a few moments, claiming that the room was full. We complied with her request, but during our wait, we noticed that this receptionist was letting many other Western-style people enter the room.
We waited a good ten minutes before asking the receptionist again to be able to access the room, but again, we met with a refusal from her on the same pretext as many westerners continued to be able to go have their breakfast without problem. full room!
At the end of this time, exasperated to be the victims of what seemed to us to be discrimination, we went to complain to this receptionist.
This finally allowed us to enter, and it was on entering that we noticed that in the room, there were still many free tables, which seemed completely absurd to us!
This shocked us, and confirmed our impression of being the victims of discrimination.
We are tourists, and we financed our hotel night, which must give you the obligation to respect us, in the same way as all your other customers.
In the future, we will be more attentive to the level of services of the hotels we frequent and we will avoid hotels whose services appear questionable to us which is the case with your establishment today.
The morality and honesty of a civilized person should, in all business dealings, take precedence over personal feelings of preferences and xenophobia. Therefore, the attitude of this receptionist is scandalous and unprofessional.
We demand an apology from your management.
We are Vietnamese, and in our group we have people who are very familiar with the culture and the French language, which proves our attachment to French-speaking countries, their culture and their people.
Moreover, shortly before our arrival in Luxembourg, the Grand Duke Jean of Luxembourg died. And in this spirit of respect and attachment to your country, we wanted to express our emotion by signing the book of condolences.
And we are sorry to have received in return this deplorable and unspeakable attitude of your staff.

Very good services and people were very friendly and accommodating.

For a hotel that charged 195 euros per night, it was lacking in basic facilities and courtesy. Food was at best average. Rooms did not even have a kettle which is so basic for travel needs. The clincher was this: the room had two single beds joined together to make a double bed, which is okay (it was single occupancy). But they had two really compact single blankets to go with it. It was cold with that so I asked for a double blanket instead and they said they didn't have any. I said the single blanket was too small and I was told (because I look and talk like an Indian) that this is how blankets are in Europe. I was speechless for 10 seconds but then remembered to tell them that I actually do live in Europe and have stayed in hotels in multiple cities of Europe. That didn't lead to any change in attitude either but she offered to check again atleast. I still didn't get a double blanket but 2 blankets separately and made do with it.

Hotel although dated kept very well, clean, trained and efficient staff, relaxation room, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor sauna very nice and well maintained.

Staff all walks with a long face. A bit suspicious in my opinion. The hotel is not in the center as the description suggests and a taxi ride to the center costs +/- 20. There is a wellness massage and a swimming pool but I did not use it. Luxembourg city and the hotel is quite on the price but definitely recommended.

Quiet during the night. Can sleep well.

Breakfast:
Will be distributed to 2 stations during Corona. This creates rows. Everywhere in the hotel you have to keep 2 meters away, only here they have forgotten that and it is not possible.

Zeeeeeeer limited breakfast.
Unlimited. But then you have to walk up and down again. Choice of packaged yogurt, A few types of sandwiches, tomato, cucumber, ice cold eggs and coffee or tea.

Too bad, could have been organized very differently!

Disgusting hotel. Service without a smile or thank you. Overrated hotel and not more than 2 stars. Worst experience ever.

Issues
- For a breakfast of 20 you get cold scrambled eggs served.
-Breakfast was not served in the restaurant of the hotel but in a small meeting room.
- Beds are two small, hard and only 1 little cushion per bed.
- Don't try too ask in the morning for a cup of coffee. If you are lucky you get it with a lot of comments. Who is the customer?
- No coffee or thee options in the room. Even the cheapest hotels offer this service today.
- Room service sounds nice, but when you try it you get an excuse that they are too busy. If you are lucky to get someone on the phone. Why offering this service?
- Dinner in the restaurant of the hotel is served without a smile and the food extremely salty. You also have to wait extremely long before you can order something.

Note: It's correct you don't find any reservation under my name as it was booked by someone else.

Very nice hotel which fully deserves its 4 *. Luxurious, clean, pleasantly well decorated, very modern.
Top bedding, we spent a quiet and very soothing night.
As in other comments on booking I will say that the staff are very "impersonal" except for the very smiley and friendly housekeeping staff!
Breakfast should have been a buffet but we only serve our drink, for the rest the organization has been changed due to the sanitary measures in force, so there is a person who serves us what we ask. But I found it weird since everyone is touching the drink machine, why not the rest? And suddenly I have the impression that the choice was limited.
Very clean pool, large and water a bit cold but once you swim it's fine. The water is at the same depth everywhere for us it was perfect! (6 people maximum in the water, I found quite reasonable)
Hammam, closed sauna ...
Large hotel therefore large parking, free!

The negatives are for the bathroom, especially the faucets, horribly old and rusty! The shower head has been through so much that the water does not flow evenly. The water squirted everywhere, we had to use our towels to mop up, it was the flood!

This is not a four star hotel. Our stay was a two star experience. First time I've arrived at a hotel to find people sitting all over the grass with their personal towels. It looked like a caravan park.

Two stars given for the lovely cream decor in the Verandah restaurant.

Poor areas:
- Reception staff are unhelpful. They are not friendly and not welcoming. They are not empowered and seem very miserable about working there. You ask for help on amenities or suggestions somewhere local and they keep repeating "I don't know".

- Breakfast is terrible. Soggy tasteless scrambled eggs with cheap cold meats, some cheese and cold pastries. Tiny glasses with water and cheap juice.

- Restaurant dining is very hit and miss. Some days the food is good, other times dinner is served cold and very salty.

- We arrived for lunch and the tables were dirty. Ashtrays full of cigarettes, food still on the empty tables, we waited but none of the staff noticed so we cleared one of the tables ourselves.

- Staff are badly dressed an badly groomed except for housekeeping who look clean and tidy in their white uniforms

We were 3 and upon arrival they gave us a room of 2, we were in the hall waiting until they left us the room.

For a 4 *, very very average. Home without heat. Spacious and clean rooms. Significant sewer odors (2nd floor). Very noisy air conditioning. No electrical outlet for computer or phone charging unless you unplug a lamp or the TV. We can hear the neighbors quite well.

Full buffet breakfast. Surprising organization since the buffet is set up in a separate room. You have to take a canteen tray, help yourself and then go to the restaurant room. Hot drinks like on the highway. Service so fast that if you get up to get something, you will not find your tray. So everything to do again! For an establishment that advocates water savings for ecological reasons, food waste is not taken into account.
All at the price of a 4 * for the services of a 3 or even 2 *.
We will not be going back.

The hotel is pretty clean and the rooms are comfortable. The place offers a series of activities , spa and outdoors, the wifi is quite fast, there's a nice indoor bar.
The staff is helpful and professional, swimming pool is awesome and price vs. Value was really good
If you are a very picky person, the toilet/bathroom might be a issue because isn't the most modern...but I particularly found it super ok for it's purpose, and there's so many positive points that I wasn't concerned about it at all!

I dint like the receptionist and some staffs were really not friendly. In general the hotel is OK,but I haven't had a super nice experience there

No AC. Unexpected and very warm room. Small insects that came into the room. Smelly bathroom products. The electric car charger was very slow - got no full battery - despite that 20. They also paid extra 20 for our little dog.

Spend a weekend in the hotel:
-Very reasonable price for a 4 star
-Saunat / Hammam / Pool area very nice, very quiet with relaxing classical music.
- Basic double room sober but nice. Breakfast in bed and included in the price of the room, nice surprise.
- Negative points: The disco is not open out of season, and the bowling alley was reserved so it was impossible to play a game, too bad.

Restaurant really not at the level. Our rating includes only an experience for the restaurant, which would have deserved a 2/5, but the hotel inside is very nice, classy and well located, which raises the overall rating.

Regarding the restaurant the rates are so high that we expect a very good meal, in line with the standard of the hotel. But not what disappointment! ... The dishes are uninspired, unfortunately all a bit bland; and in a large table, served lukewarm.

If you're out of luck, an evening will be organized with disrespectful people who will annoy other guests. Otherwise nothing to complain about except the simple meal included in the romantic pack

Terrible service and poor hospitality, a bit dull, nice sauna. I visited a feiend who stays for work, spending 3 nights in the suite/ apartment that her company uses regularly (full month stay) for employees. It seems an ok large hotel but does not give a 4star feel. That is ok, but service is a bit shocking and some staff simply rude. With the exeptipn of 1 front desk lady and man, and the room service staff that delivers requests, most staff clearly showed they are bothered by any request: bringing an extra blanket (just brought sheets and when asked again for the blanket, stated not having one, in a large hotel...), the extra bed (yes, they do charge extra) was ok but has limited linen. Reception was not happy looking for a charger cable that the college had put aside for me in the morning (they simply forgot and it was never brought to the room as promised). I got sick when staying here and got a fever so I called asking for tea bags as surprisingly there is no cattle nor the usual tea and coffee basics in the kitchenette. The staff was bothered and even after saying I am sick, they were annoyed to bring it instead of me going down and getting it from the bar ( in my pijamas and with a running nose I did not feel like going down to a busy bar). They brought 2 tea bags and actually charged eur 6 for it! For simple tea bags that should be in the suite to start with. I was glad to have a sauna visit which was good (yes, sauna and pool are nice, though crowded). I would definitely not recommend this place and rather go somewhere with 2 or 3 stars but decent hospitality.

Food from the Goodyear anniversary was not extra - hotel could be modernized inside and out. You feel like mid-90s

Great location, between the woods. Very big, you notice that when you arrive, but also at dinner and breakfast. Furthermore, excellent staff, neat! Rooms also neat, except for the bathroom. Found some hairs on the wall, which I think were pretty good to see. Lovely swimming pool with spa to relax!

A little out of the way if you are staying in luxembourg but totally worth it. Beautiful setting in a wooded are and has lots of amenities.

Good hotel, breakfast can be better. No fresh orange juice and no salmon. Price of breakfast is expensive
