Alvisse Parc Hotel Review

A clean and friendly space.
For just one night we have no regrets. To redo.
I recommend.

Very pleasant hotel with swimming pool and wooded park. Very calm. Breakfast reduced because of the health crisis.

Some rooms are renovated and are good. But some are not unfortunately, what makes that you pay way too much for an old room. Ask for a new room. Swimming pool & spa. But no fitness. The room is empty, no fitness equipment at all, even if they promote it. Should have it for a hotel of that category. Breakfast is good. Wide choice.

Sometimes a weak Wi-Fi connection, the lack of a coffee / tea set in the room or free water (the hotel has 4 stars). But the rooms are large, clean, bathrooms also in good condition, and the pool and saunas compensate.
I'm begging you, start making a normal scrambled egg instead of the powder!

The staff save it from 1 star. It's not great, at all. The breakfast is poor and industrial, the pillows are few and far between and small, the towels are thin, the toilet seat is yellow from old age and the room smelt a bit musty. Presumably built in the 70s and renovated since but cheaply. There are better hotels.

Friendly staff, good restaurant, room was a bit outdated - could use renovation. Didn't use pool / spa area. Rate too high for this standard but probably reasonable for Luxemburg.

Lots of facilities. Rooms were ok and restaurant nothing to get excited about. Staff friendly and helpful.

Very nice place, I participated in a workshop so I only discovered the meeting rooms. A nice welcome and decoration is design.

So far out of the city, very poor service and the staff take your money from your room when you are at dinner or breakfast. not only do they clean your room, but they clean you out also.

It is a good place to stay surrounded by nature, which is 5 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from Luxembourg City

Slept very badly, next to an entrance door. Certainly not recommended.

Hotel very clean and well organized breakfast was very basic I expected better in relation to the required price

I attended a board meeting there. The room we reserved was furnished according to our specifications. Breakfast and drinks were as expected. The pre-ordered lunch (3 courses) was good and inexpensive and served within the given time frame. Gladly again.

Good hotel, has all you need. Rooms are clean and decent. Pools, sauna, steambath, fitness, bike rental and much more. And a beautiful and central environment where the hotel is located. If you have time it is definitly a must to hire a bike at the hotel and go up the mountain directly at the back of the hotel.

We spent the evening of New Year's Eve at this establishment, the meal was ok but for the entertainment there is a huge discomfort. To dance it must move in the bar where a small track is located, the dj was zero. We will not be coming back

Rooms next to the ascender noise is very annoying the outside ventilation makes a lot of noise. Otherwise the hotel is beautiful.

Very nice hotel but it lacks heat. The food is average.

Front desk staff is the best part of this hotel. The restaraunt staff are angry individuals who consider English to be offensive and are easily distracted by their own small talk. The pillows are more like a rolled up towel inside a pillow case. The mattresses are similar to a baby mattress or the type of mattress you would take camping. Not horrible but certainly not a 4* hotel. They could improve on the pillows and mattresses and speak to the restaraunt staff and hosts about being more hospitable. The guests of the hotel dont pay for an attitude.

Very good hotel to go with car. It is far from downtown, but has a heated indoor pool, high speed internet and free parking. In addition, a huge pool outside and the possibility of renting bicycles and playing tennis.

This is not a real 4 star disappointment for the rooms, the pool and not forgetting the meal (half board) that had nothing to do with a good restaurant (more than basic menu)

Does not look very neat for a 4 star hotel. rooms were not really cleaned properly. dirty floors. noise in the hallway. But it was only for 1 night .. Friendly staff.

Nice hotel, great park green area for pedestrians and cyclists

It has a very good walking course. I would like to recommend walking and jogging in the morning uninterrupted. Breakfast is also delicious. However, the drain is weak under the shower and there is no drain under the sink. After having soaked the mat in front of the bathroom extensively in exchange for showering too hard, I immediately declared my conscience to the counter. It was so cool at the counter that I had plenty of room tips left instead.

The internet was broken during my whole stay despite continuing promises to fix it "the next day", several days in a row. Some facilities at the gym were broken, wall clock was showing wrong time. The restaurant was providing only a single vegetarian option, which is not feasible for a longer stay. Impossible to recommend.

Very nice rooms. About 100 euros are blocked on the card account. Then you have to return.

The hotel was really good. The pool was excellent and warm enough. I will totally recommend that if you are searching where to stay in Luxembourg to chose this hotel. Also, is close to the city, even if you go by bus, it will take you 15 minutes to arrive to the city center, the only issue is that the bus comes every hour.

Good location and friendly staff. Considering Corona, it was good. But we didn't really have the 4-star feeling that we had consciously opted for once. The room was quite outdated and really in need of a makeover. Everything else was fine, but we just missed that little bit extra.

A well equipped hotel.
Unfortunately, it seems as if one does not endeavor to obtain.
The rooms are worn, the breakfast offers coffee from powder and rather average coverings, the "park" is quite small and the "playground" consists of a wheel and a multi-person swing.
At 6:00 am, an employee may be driving trash cans around with a gasoline tractor.
There are extremely many little things that make this hotel unfortunately worse than it is in the core.

A great hotel ideally located for those that like the outdoors. Nice trail's surrounding the hotel. Very relaxing and peaceful hotel. Can get busy and the staff do an excellent job of hosting your stay.

Rooms are dated, staff not friendly... bugs running over the serviettes at breakfast, we don't know if it is always like this, or it was because we had the use of wonderbox vouchers, but we did not get the feeling from non of the staff that we were very welcome, all be it that we booked and payed for a room with breakfast and payed for this ourselfs, we had one wonderbox for a romantic diner, this went well all though the price of the box was more than what the diner was... 69,90 for the box... a diner worth 58 and the drinks we paid for ourselfs. The breakfast was a wonderbox breakfast for two with bubbles worth 29,90, we gave the voucher and were told to follow the rest and get the breakfast... no bubbles! When we checked out we mensioned this to the counter staff and were told to wait while they checked our story... after a short time, they offered us a bottle of bubbles the size 20cl as compensation, naturaly we declined... all together for one night it cost us 160 for room and drinks, a diner not worth the price of the voucher, and a breakfast voucher we have lost... They made 259,8 for one night of under par service...

Very nice place, good reception, good hygiene, bar ok, restaurant a little expensive but good, nice decor bedroom for wedding anniversary. We were left 1h more before departure (13 instead of 12) without supplement. More

Checked in around 7.30 pm. Very tired. The receptionist wouldn t let me access my company paid for room unless I gave a credit card or 70 cash to cover the mini bar. I informed the receptionist I didn t have a credit card or 70 cash. I told the receptionist I would go to the room and bring all of the mini bar to reception so I could go to bed. I was again reminded it was company policy and I wasn t allowed to use the room without a credit card or 70 cash.
I asked for a manager to mediate the situation but was told the manager had gone home and there was nothing I could do. I gave a debit card and so did my colleague.
My colleague was charged for mini bar that wasn t used and we weren t refunded the deposit as promised. This is the 26th hotel I have used in the last 6 months and this is by far the worst policy and treatment I have received. I will never use this hotel again.

Nice modern hotel, but glass door to the toilet / shower is a matter of taste

A nice hotel, with a nice luxury restaurant and bar. Food taste nice.

"Don't judge a book by its cover" belongs to this hotel. The first glance does not reveal anything and it does not impress, but after entering the hall with a reception you will be surprised by the modern interior and the beautiful bar. The rooms are equipped with everything needed, the bathroom just as well. Unfortunately, in our case, we did not meet the friendly staff (except the receptionist). Anyway, it was our case (I read reviews that people were satisfied with the service). However, I can highly recommend the hotel. I was personally satisfied.

Nice hotel very close to town and very quiet. The facade is not pretty, but inside it is very beautiful.
Possibility of treatment, I also did one with my husband it is relaxation assured on the other hand it is quite expensive but it is worth it.
The restaurant in the hotel is super good I highly recommend it and the cocktails in the bar. It is very cozy and calm.

Small downside for the heated pool which is a bit cold for my taste, it's a shame.

A magnificent hotel! Nothing to say, top comfort room! When you take a romantic room you get a welcome gift. A superb welcome.

Very nice and modern looking entrance and lobby. Rooms are quite big, clean and everything seems to be present what you could need. My bathroom was awful though, a terrible smell coming from the sewing of the shower. There's no wide choice of food for breakfast, but the quality of what's offered is higher than avarage. Heard there's a huge swimming pool...

Overall great, even if the room lacks a bit of charm and was given a room without a great view

Very good hotel, good workers and very friendly, the space pool and sauna are good despite k the gym leaves much to be desired, breakfast in the room with good delivery and good things, I had a good weekend and will be to repeat

This hotel was in the top well cared for food well cared for nice rooms no complaining

Pillows in my room, more especially the cushions, are very very smelly
