Alvisse Parc Hotel Review

Despite that no AC in the rooms, overall cleaniness, service and food were good.

It was a super Experience, swimming pool, sauna, very nice restaurant , perfect

Big. Clean. Good breakfast. Swimming pool with saunas are available. 10 min by bus to the Luxembourg center.

Good business hotel, but breakfast is not very good. Lager for Kirchberg, for example, quite good!

The room keys were not working, when we got in the room was flooded, the carpet was soaked.
The second room we were given smelled strongly of cold cigarettes and an electric hatch was wide open in the ceiling.
The bathroom sink was coming off the wall, the shower column was broken and the shower head pointed towards the bathroom and not towards the tub (which certainly explains the flooding of the 1st bedroom).
The bedding is very soft, to the point where you are afraid of falling when turning over at night. There is only one flat pillow (light for a 4 *).
No lift offered, not even a bottle of water, everything is chargeable in the mini bar, no kettle or coffee maker available either.
On the last day, we have not yet returned the keys that a cleaning lady knocks lightly on the door and enters at 8:30 am, for the late morning and the rest, we will come back ...
Which brings me to the point of the hotel's non-existent insulation. We hear all the noises, especially as the hotel welcomes whole buses of tourists who spend their time going from room to room in the corridor ...
Only the service at the reception is worthy of a 4 * and the rooms and the outbuildings are clean (vacuuming the corridors at 9 am, as much as it is clean ..)
At full price, it's theft, barely the standard of a 3 *.
Breakfast is very expensive for what it is. The pastries are good and there is a choice. On the other hand, there is no individual yogurt (there is a large bowl with a more than doubtful yogurt), the eggs (in powder) are not cooked, the orange juice is not filled when it is is empty ... As in the whole establishment: expensive for what it is ...
I do not recommend this hotel, or with a great offer and one night or the hotel is empty to avoid noise ...
The green setting is nice and relaxing, and the pool / sauna / hammam area is pleasant when there are few people.

Nice place for seminars, conferences, business meetings ...

For the prices they charge I might have expected a little more. Miscounted towels and bathrobes, a slightly outdated bathroom with a shower head with a trickle running off the shower. But overall just good (I doubted between 3 or 4 stars). Staff is very competent and friendly, spacious hotel too and a big advantage is of course the very spacious parking.

The hotel is in perfect condition after reconstruction. Sufficient room and bathroom size. Good restaurant, amazing breakfast. Swimming pool and sauna available and large parking.

Great pool and sauna area, unfortunately only a bit crowded. Unfortunately, we also had a bad experience with the buffet, but something can always happen. Especially the location is perfect, outside with direct access to the city.

Good business hotel that has been modernised over several years, rooms are modern and spacious. The bar and restaurant are pleasant with decent staff and reasonable prices. The last cheese plate I had there was excellent - nice range of good French cheeses.

The hotel is comfortable, well-equipped, rich in breakfast and green outside. Drinking hot water is not available in the room and must be purchased separately. The ball pen is exquisite and can be left as a memorial.

Really good hotel and the people there were extremely professional. I was there for a conference and this was a good experience. There's also a bar and a restaurant which are quite okay.

In the room, smell of sulfur, air conditioning that made a noise of engine two times in slow motion and which did not cool, mattress to be replaced, sliding shower, insects.

Decent hotel, clean, friendly people. Close to the city centre, maybe 10 minutes by car. Calm surrounding. Good breakfast with a lot of choice. Different kinds of bread, cheeses, meat and eggs. Yoghurt and fresh fruits. Free parking, free Wifi.
There is a spa that s included. Very nice after a long day of city exploring. Swimming pool, sauna and steam bath. There is a small fitness room as well. The hotel has a lot of options for business meetings or gatherings.
Downside are maybe the bad acoustics in the spa. Every small sound is reflected.

The hotel has never earned more than 4 stars. The einieg what there 4 stars has is the hotel staff. The on "distinguished" making restaurant qird of the most incompetent, unfriendly and incapable restaurant manager ever. A cheek qie deals with the guests. We went down to 4 in fluorescent workmanship, two trucks including a semi-crane parked at the top of the car park (there is a separate car park for coaches but nothing told us that we had to go there). No problem. We received our rooms (for 3 and 4 days). clean and comfortable rooms. We had access to the pool and sauna. Some wardrobe locks damaged in the dressing rooms pools otherwise everything is clean. The breakfast was scheduled from 7am, at 6:45 we had access to buffets very well stocked. We could not test the terrace, it was April and it was raining. The restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced for the hotel. We ate at night in the nearby town 2 nights out of four. A Chinese restaurant, an Italian who posted full and a Portuguese. There are also taverns restaurants at reasonable prices. Brief perfect stay.

I trusted the reviews and frankly I'm disappointed ... We took a "pack" on Weekendesk, about 210 euros per night with dinner, breakfast and spa / pool access. I thought the hotel was poorly located at the edge of a busy road, far from the center ... The correct room, we could not test the pool / spa as it closed at 9:30 pm and the meal Lasted a lot of time ... The proposed menu was too simple (mixed salad starter ... Turkey escalope cream in dish ... Fruit salad for dessert ..). Very classic breakfast, moderately furnished ... In short I am disappointed for the price, if we go back to Luxembourg we will not stay at this hotel ...

Great hotel. Indoor pool, sauna, steam room. Outdoor pool. The hotel is accessible for people with reduced mobility except the indoor pool which is a shame. It would be enough simply to put a ramp to access it. This is really the only negative point. The pool is wheelchair accessible.
A nice discovery, we will return.

Very nice hotel, but the location is a little too far to walk into the city. Be careful! Taxis out here are also very expensive.. cost me about 18 euro to travel in town (approx 5 km). Look into public transport and busses!

We were on the occasion of a conference in the Parc Hotel Alvisse. When I got to my room, I could feel a strong stench of sweat. After a note at the front desk we were promised to take care of the problem, which did not happen. The room could only be inhabited with the window open. The cleanliness of the bathroom left a lot to be desired. The WiFi was not available in our room.
During our stay we noticed the unfriendliness of the staff. Twice we got into a situation in which the service staff used a different language for no apparent reason and complained about us instead of addressing the problem directly. The behavior was more than inappropriate and does not allow us to keep our stay in good memories.

Large breakfast room but breakfast food is not very diverse

It was very busy when we arrived, there was a Christmas Party going on, there were no available parking spaces, we had to turn around 2 times to find a parking place, there were 2 men guiding all the cars who wanted to park in front of the hotel, we had explained that we had a reservation but they said there were no spaces anymore, eventhough I saw more spaces in front of the hotel. I had a child with me, we were very tired and hungry it was around 8pm when we arrived! If I haven't stepped out of the car, the 2 guys wouldn't have allowed us to park in front of the hotel! I know they are just following the rules, but we are guests with a child, hungry and very tired!

The entrance of the lobby is full of guests smoking, the whole lobby smells of cigarettes smoke, they don't have a separate place for the guests to smoke!

Eventually, we had checked in, the nice lady gave us a welcome drink maybe for the inconvenience about the parking space!

Our room was clean, we had a seperate bed for our child! The only thing was, because of the party we haven't slept a lot because of the noisy drunk guests running and shouting in the hallway! The should have checked us in another floor away from the party! The 2nd night was good, we had a goodnight sleep!

Dinner was good, breakfast was very good, lots of choices! Swimming pool was a little bit cold, Sauna and the steam room were also good, and clean! The staff are friendly and very helpful.

Bus stop is just in front of the hotel, very convenient to go to the city center.

If they will have a seperate place to smoke then i'll give another star!

Excellent fully equipped hotel with good service and staff. Beautifully located in nature on easily accessible road. Relaxing sauna, hamman, pools and beauty centre.
