Alvisse Parc Hotel Review

The breakfast was given to a large tray. It was very convenient, the ingredients were of good quality, and I was very careful. The only thing that needs to be improved is that the Orientals want a hot pot, which is regrettable.
PS; Later, the hotel manager wrote back and would pay attention to comfort. I hope everyone will make suggestions and strive for it.

Beautiful Hotel just on the outskirts of the city. 3 bus stops away you will find a secluded hotel with an indoor and outdoor pool, bar and restaurant, conference center and spa. My favorite amenities included the indoor pool with sauna and steam room and the complimentary breakfast. The rooms are updated with modern bathrooms but the queen bed was two twins put together. Staff were pleasant and accommodating except when we tried to get a drink around 6pm on a Thursday in the bar. The lounge was pretty empty but the service took forever. I was able to rent a mountain bike from the reception and the tour guide picked me up and dropped me back off at the hotel to do some riding in northern Lux. Overall I was pleased with my stay.

Stay in a superior double room:
- Normally provided with a large double bed (Queen Size), we were entitled to two beds side by side with mattress ...

- No courtesy tray so forget the tea and coffee (4 stars, really?)



- Friendly staff (phew)

- No place to put your things in the bathroom, which has a glass door (hello privacy).

In short, for a **** hotel in a superior room at 180 / night, well that's not at all that. It deserves by being really generous, 3 stars.

I had called the hotel to book a room with a double bed and a bathtub and was told that there was no room with both criteria. I was told to choose a criterion, so I chose a room with a double bed and was told that normally it is with availability, but that they would book it for the dates I wanted. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told that they no longer had a double bed room available. So I did not have a room with a double bed or with a bath! VERY DISAPOINTED! And even the gentleman at the reception was not friendly at all when I explained the situation to him.
It wouldn't be a big deal if they hadn't promised me a room with a double bed! But as they promised me, and finally I did not have a double bed no bath, although those were my only criteria!

Strange smell in room (broken drain?), 20 euros for a simlpe breakfast and fitness room very poorly equipped. Disappointment. A 4 star hotel? Lol!

Very good hotel, sauna and spa of good level. Unfortunately the restaurant is a bit too expensive and offers not a great variety of food for vegetarians for example. Not everyone speaks English (the receptionists speak very well) but most of them are very nice and happy to help.

Avoid this place, they screw you on the mini bar and extort you at reception. Really bad policies.

Dated hotel. The beds have far too soft mattresses. There is a bad smell in the room (sewer). This was also the case with my colleagues. Breakfast is very basic. Housekeeping makes a lot of noise in the hallway.

Nice hotel, the mattresses are comfortable and the relaxation area is pleasant with its swimming pool (a little cold for my taste), sauna and hammam.
Large car park with more than 200 spaces in front of the establishment and a bus stop just outside, so it is very easy to get to Luxembourg city center.

Very nice, spacious, comfortable, modern hotel. The SPA and fitness area is really top notch. Too bad the covid makes the sauna and hammam unavailable. Small downside, the catering is classic but quite expensive.

Everything is alright. Wellness area was overcrowded in the evening. You have to go early. Fitness area is ok to keep fit. Breakfast is good. Dining there is very expensive.

Restored inside. Pleasant rooms. Restaurant uncomfortable due to too large. Speed of service at the bar is also a bit disappointing. Price quality an honest hotel.

Good hotel with nice facilities, spa, indoor pool but, in this opportunity, without air conditioning. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, really to highlight, the location a bit away from the city but acceptable, there is a bus stop in front, and to improve could speed up the attention at the reception.

Cramped rooms, horrible wifi connection. Don't even try to have a VOiP call like Skype, Viber. Hotel management restricted the wifi only for occasional browsing. Don't expect any emergency service from hotel maintenance if something is broken. They will simply ignore it with great excuse. If you have a car, try some other hotel in the city. You will get a better hotel at same price. Good luck.

I do not know where the 4 stars come from. Pad top staff. Leaking shower and fluctuating water temperature between boiling and refrigerating. Average food quality

From service to food and facilities everything was perfect

The room is comfortable. The hotel is rather chic and nice. Only regret: the indoor pool is really too cold ... After 10 min we went back to room. Pity...

Impossible to sleep ! Party until 3 a.m. We were not informed of this when we made our reservation. No compensation when we paid the room almost 100 euros. We could hear the music as if the party was taking place next to the room. Inadmissible, shameful, disrespectful. Hotel to flee on weekends. We wanted to have a good time and rest. It s missed

A very nice hotel. Perfect location, very friendly staff. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The wellness area was great. The restaurant La Veranda just great. We had a very nice stay. We will definitely be back next year.

Very beautiful, personel attentive and friendly, it offers unheated pool, but indoor and outdoor, steam room, saunas, solarium, it lacks just a jacuzzi, and porposes a spa service, bowling, a la carte restaurant, service in room etc ...

Good location to hold a meeting, kitchen to be polite, very modest.

Big disappointment Sauna and Hammam too small, the gymnasium leaves much to be desired, basically there were 2 static bicycles. The restaurant, dishes without grace and a fish without flavor, we complained but the service did not matter. Otherwise, it is more or less and breakfast is free.

Nice hotel that is worth its 4 stars. The room was clean although poorly insulated. Super staff and attentive to your wishes from the receptionists, waiters through the maids nothing to say great. The sauna and the hamman although a bit small for such a large hotel and nice by the pool and beautiful and very cold, a few more degrees would be welcome. The bowling alley and a plus in cold weather and rain.

Great hotel. Now with corona someone is serving up your breakfast which is fine. Free parking and that near Luxembourg! Not five stars because of small points: breakfast limited choice, coffee tasted less, bathroom bit outdated but fine.

A good hotel with nice rooms and a great pool area. The connection to the city by public transport is great, the bus stop is right at the hotel.

Too bad the pool does not open this season, yet having an outdoor pool with these temperatures would have been pure happiness !!! @@

Stylish and elegant place that offers services for adults and children. Has a gym with indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, steam room and UV machine. The landscape is very beautiful and the city center is only a few minutes drive from the hotel. A lot of public transport, restaurants, shops ...

Hallway very noisy. Unfinished room, blow in the walls, bad finishes, decoration to redo, disturbing smell, tasks on the materials, no view, no storage, bathroom despicable. The price is not worth the room at all.
Hotel not recommended.

For a supposed 4* hotel I am thoroughly disappointed. Upon checking in, I went to my room and walked down the what feels like a mile long hallway. When I got to my room I found the door wide open, I closed it and went to open with my card to ensure I didn't lock my things in later - card didn't work so had to go get new card.

The restaurant opens late at 7pm and it took me over 25 minutes both nights I used it to get the bill, the food however is good.

The internet is appalling. After 7pm or so it is clearly overloaded and excruciatingly slow. It is also open with no sign in page add therefore incredibly insecure - make sure you use a VPN unless you're happy for people to see all your traffic.

The breakfast selection is small.

Finally, I find the staff to be polite, but begrudgingly so. They are polite because they need to be, not because they want to help. I would understand this if I was being rude, complaining or being difficult, but literally all I have asked for are taxi's to be be called in the morning (I say please and thank you) and checked in.

Oh, that's another thing, taxi's do not wait outside the hotel, you must have one called.

Finally, every day I have left a do not disturb sign on my door. Every day I have come back to find my room cleaned which I did not want - hence the sign. They simply ignore the sign and put it on the inside of the door.

If you're looking for somewhere clean to sleep, it's okay. If you're looking to unwind in the evening and relax, go elsewhere.

We were delighted with our 4 day stay at this spa hotel during the Christmas holidays. From the world during this period but relaxing, calm, and clean setting. Not far from Luxembourg-city, rather pleasant to discover the city and its specificities!
The gym is a real plus!
On the other hand, these are details, but to be true to its image, the hotel should take care of small maintenance and repairs (light bulb in the room, shower head of the hammam defective, elliptic bike unusable ...).

1 star and only for the room. I don't know if that's the effect of the government coupons, but the restaurant is a disaster. 1h10 waiting to receive the salads. Fortunately, to be patient we have the right to 2 rolls and butter ... As a main course, a steak. Finally, putty concrete without any flavor with the traditional side dish of fries and salad. Let's go to the restaurant for breakfast. Good but nothing exceptional yet. Basic. The rooms are nevertheless nice and we sleep well. Too crowded to be able to test the swimming pool.
In conclusion, spend the night there but avoid the restaurant service which is really deplorable.

We had an uncomfortable night with the 2 single beds attached. With the slot in the middle, it is either sticks to two on 1 bed, or it is each on his side. It's really not great for a couple. Otherwise the SPA area is good and the lounge bar.

Good hotel for groups. Close to the city of Luxembourg.

The bed was really very bad, it makes huge noise in each little movement, we did not sleep the whole night, unfortunately I noticed the bad quality of bed after my baby fell asleep and I could not call to change the room or even leave the hotel. I m giving 2 stars because of the kindness of employees. But the most important thing in a hotel is the sleeping experience.
