The food and desserts were okay, I didn't find them mind blowing. Our server was really nice, and he put a candle in the dessert for my mom's birthday. However, there was no complimentary birthday dessert. We went in the middle of the day on a Saturday, and it was not very busy.
They sell several flavors of cakes that you won't get in regular bakeries. Also, great cookie and pastry collection. Very clean environment and friendly staff.
I'm basically a Pizza snob. I love homemade pizza and pizza's made on woodfired grills. This place does not disappoint in the pizza department! There's no better pizza test than the first bite and how stringy the mozzarella is. I could eat an entire pizza if it were socially acceptable. Also the desserts are basically the whole reason for going. I love the turtle chocolate cheesecake. We've had the raspberry white chocolate cheesecake and it's also out of this world. I have yet to have something from here that I haven't loved.
My wife and I come here for desserts on special occasions, and though it may be out of the way, their desserts are worth it. I'm partial to the red velvet cupcakes myself, but there are so many good treats. We've had a meal here before, but dinner is not something we'd make a detour for, quite honestly. The desserts, on the other hand...

This is an Alpharetta neighborhood gem! One of our family's go-to lunch and dinner spots. Their desserts are to die for! Service is impeccable and outdoor patio comfortable. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant. My favorite dish is the chicken picatta. I also love the caprese and the key lime bar is great to finish with. Kid friendly. Recommend making reservations on the weekends if possible.
This review is for the bakery, not the restaurant. I just took my wife to this lovely establishment to enjoy a nice dessert and a coffee, our plan was to sit and enjoy it all in the designated booths before continuing our road trip. My frustration doesn t really set in before we sit down and try to cut our cakes with the very cheap plastic forks they provide, as we realize this is an impossible feat, we ask two different employees if they could in any way get us a knife, it didn t matter if it was a matching 1 cent knife to the fork that was already proving itself completely unusable, just anything to help us complete the mission of eating the cakes we had just spent a bunch of money buying. Both staff members denied us any form of help and seemed like they couldn t care less whether we d be able to actually eat the cakes or not. My point is: why do you perfect everything in your amazing bakery and then completely drop the ball by denying your customers a $0.01 plastic knife? Help me understand that and we will certainly be your customers again. Btw: I paid a 20% tip on my bill, which makes the lack of service even more annoying.

Food is great but service is not. The last three times we have gone there for dinner, both during the week and on a weekend, it took over 40 minutes for our food to arrive. In addition, the waitress never comes to the table to check in or let us know what s going on. I typically order to go and this is fine.
In my opinion one of the best pizzas in the Roswell/Alpharetta area. Pizza always comes out fresh, piping hot, and great ingredients.
You want to talk about the best cupcakes in the entire Georgia area at a reasonable price, then your at the right place. Amazing. You will regret ever going to the grocery store for your pastries, don't cheat your sweet tooth. Love it.

My favorite spot for cakes by far! Excellent quality and the consistency over the years has been great. Haven't eaten at the restaurant, but the Italian take out has been top notch, love the Stromboli.
My Family an I absolutely love having dinner at Alpine. The food is to die for, you could can tell The Chef truly loves his job his craft with food. The features he creates from week to week are Phenomenal & can blow any restaurant nearby out of the water. My Wife's favorite dish has to be The Chicken Marsala the portion feeds her for days! As for myself one word Pizza! Best Pizza I've had hands down. An of course I spoil myself every now an then with The Features that hit the spot every time. Eating in the dining room is such a relaxing experience. The Dining Room Manger is a Pleasure to see as well. He goes above an beyond to make the customers happy! Funny to think that we go to Alpine only for dinner an never even had dessert. This last visit we had the kids were with us an they begged us for some yummy treats of course. So as any parents would have done we caved in an decide to splurge on some goodies for the kids. As we were looking at each case deciding on what items to buy, we noticed something that sent red flags about the Bakery Side. The Owner an His Wife seemed to have zero interest in being there an could careless about the customers questions. In my eyes it was very unprofessional. They seemed to care more about joking around with each other than take care of the customers in front of them. Hopefully they can turn their acts around an seek some managing classes. Seems like a great place it was sad to see the bakery was not running as smooth as the dinning room an kitchen. Like I said in the beginning The Food is to die for so do yourself a favor an go grab lunch or dinner!

Disappointed with how little attention we got from our server on a night that wasn't too busy. I was there with a friend, and we look a little young but if we could've gotten ahold of our server more often we would've gotten dessert and appetizers. Instead we skipped right to entrees because we were tired of waiting for him to pop up (we told him we needed some thinking time after getting bread, but he disappeared completely for way too long). Even after I finished my food, and we were in a rush because we needed to catch a movie, we had to wait ages just to be able to wave him down for a box and our check. Had he come sooner we would have had dessert! I work in the upscale restaurant business and it was sad to get treated like kids when we had money to spend! The food was great, but I wish we could have gotten more than entrees. Unfortunately we were in a time fix and because our server was MIA all night we didn't get the chance for anything else. Might come back to try on a much slower night but I'll avoid weekends from now on.

BEST CHEESECAKE! Hands down. We even ordered three large ones for our "groom's cake" a couple of years ago. My husband is a huge Bills fan, and they even added the Bills logo! Our wedding guests LOVED it. We didn't have any left at the end of the night!

Service was good. Food was average and came to the table cold. It actually came to the table too quickly, which made us think it was probably made ahead. The sesame cookies in the bakery are great! House chianti was good too.

Food is always very good. Staff is usually very attentive. The menu is somewhat overpriced, however. Otherwise, I would frequent this restaurant more often.

This place used to be a favorite, but our last experience here was enough to turn us away for good. We made a Friday night reservation through OpenTable, but when we arrived we were told they had no tables available and would need to wait 15-20 minutes. I was not pleased with this as it was the whole point of the reservation, and it was corrected quickly, but this was just the start of our terrible experience.
We placed an order for drinks, appetizers, and salads. The drinks and appetizers came out quickly, but we waited about 20 minutes for salads. We finished our salads, the server topped off our drinks, and then we waited over an HOUR for our food to arrive. To make matters worse, two of the dishes were cold. The excuse we were given involved a 60-person wedding party in the back room, which was clearly more important to their business than loyal, returning customers.
In the end, the manager came out and apologized, they took one dish off the bill, and they gave us a complimentary piece of cake for four guests to split and a gift card. For a bill over $120, I really expected more. We also missed our movie, which we scheduled a full two hours after our dining reservation, thinking we would have plenty of time. Of course, we didn't get the money back for those tickets.
I will not return here, not only because of the poor kitchen service but because the restaurant clearly wasn't prepared to deal with the large party in the back. If you are going to accommodate a party like that, you need to staff for it or close your doors to the public to serve them exclusively. As it happens, one of my party is a chef and has extensive experience in the industry. We know that our poor service was due in part to the big party was making the big money, and that's just not acceptable.
Overrated. The desserts look really pretty but don't taste that great. Every time I came back to take a bite, my tummy hurt so bad. It's a pass for me.

The food is good, but not worth the totally rude and condescending attitude of the staff. I've been going to Alpine bakery for years. Even before they moved, our office ALWAYS got our cakes and desserts for employee birthdays, and often ordered pizzas for lunch. Since they have opened the full restaurant, we've been there many times for lunch, and order lunch to go at least monthly, as well as still ordering our cakes there. The last time we ordered lunch, and as usual it if for 10-12 people, I had several orders of eggplant parmesan, and one with no egg. When they were packing the food, I noticed none of them were marked, and asked which one had no egg, as it is in between the layers, and you cannot tell by looking. They young man helping me asked the kitchen manager, who took all three orders to the counter at the kitchen, opened them, and with his hands poked at all of them until he found the one that did not have an egg in it. Really?!!!! He did not wash his hands, or put gloves on, and was literally picking apart the eggplant parmesan with his fingers. The young man helping me looked quite embarrassed and apologized. I told him I wanted them to re-make them, and he said he didn't blame me. As good as the food is, it makes you wonder what other unsanitary methods they practice. We have been going for years and the food is always good, so I gave them another chance, and we have gotten several cakes and ordered lunch once without incident until this weekend. I called Saturday to see if they had a particular cake for my dad and grandfathers birthday party on Sunday. They said they did, but could not hold it, I even offered to go ahead and pay for it. They said they couldn't do it, but that there should be no problem getting it the next day. I called the next day to make sure it was still there, told the girl I was on my way from Canton and again offered to pay over the phone. She said they had plenty, and there would be no problem when I got there. I arrived about 35 minutes later, asked for the cake and the girl said "we don't have any of those" I told her I had just called, even though I am quite sure she was the one I talked to, and she said she'd go look in back. She came back and 30 seconds later and said "nope, no cake". I told her I had just wasted over an hour driving there after being told they did have one and offering to pay for it in advance, she said " we don't hold cakes that aren't special order, have a nice day". No apology, no offering other resolution, just a very snide and obnoxious, "have a nice day" three times, basically saying they didn't want my business. Well, that's good, because I will NEVER go back, and none of our medical offices or doctors will be ordering either, as I am the one that does the ordering. There are plenty of places out there that treat their customers with dignity and respect. I would also like to add that I asked how much the large German chocolate cake was, and was told $79.00, which I could not justify for a small family party, however looking at their web site, it's actually $59.00. So not only are they rude and condescending, they also apparently employ liars and thieves. I can see by past reviews that I am not the only patron you have run off by your total lack of regard for the people you are supposed to be providing a service to. Eventually it will catch up to you.
Had dinner with friends last night. To die for food and desserts. Our waiter was the best. Glad we were introduced to this eatery. Will return soon.
The food has been consistently good. I've tried the pizza and several pasta dishes. The fried calamari is to die for. It's a bit pricey and the meat portions aren't that generous but they don't skimp on the flavors. ALL of desserts are amazing. You can't go wrong with whatever you choose.
The best hands down the best fresh bakery in the state of GA I have found so far. Fresh, fresh, fresh! I love the crabapple location! Keep it up guys
Pizza is outstanding! One of my only preferred pizza venues for takeout. Their deserts look absolutely amazing but I ve never tasted any that were worth getting a second time. Generally unimpressive. The chocolate espresso cookies are the only desert I d suggest.
Food is great...bakery is good...not great, just good. Some of the bakery items are stellar, but too many of them are not which stopped me from giving them 5 stars. If you are going to make a cannoli...make one. These are NOT cannoli...the cream is wrong and the shell is blah. The strawberry cake is heaven and the cheesecakes are good. The pizza and dinners are great. If you go expecting a NY bakery you will be disappointed a bit.

Met a work colleague for lunch. First impression: beautiful decor. Large glass cases filled with the most elegant looking cakes, desserts, and pies. The food was marvelous and totally reasonably priced. The calzones and strombolis were huge! I got a meatball sub with sweet potato fries. I appreciated that they didn't try to up charge me for sweet potato fries like some restaurants. How were the fries? Yummy like a fresh funnel cake.

Have been going here for a few years. They used to have average service. Since the management has been changed the service is excellent. The food is very good. The bakery is also awesome. Try it out, you won't be disappointed. Take it from a100% Sicilian raised on pasta and all the Italian dishes you could imagine
After having falafel in bezoria alpharetta, I was craving for something sweet..googled and came to know about this place which was luckily open..went there..there was nice and huge selection of cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cheesecakes..pastries were quite huge and we were not that hungry, so decided to go with chocolate mousse cupcake which was looking were pretty..it was super yummy and not over sweet like most of the cupcakes we get here in USA..recommend this place..next time going to try something different

Just stopped by to order sweets to go and server couldn t get order right... we ended up with one cake slice missing and pb instead of key lime ?! .. plus everything is too sweet and cakes just taste like flour. Try some butter in your recipes and use cream cheese icing with red velvet... oy. And please change your name to let everyone know this is NOT European sweets... disappointed.
Fantastic bakery. I go here whenever I have a sweet tooth and know that whatever I'm in the mood for, they'll have an answer. I'll even occasionally swing by for the Italian food, but the heart and soul of this place is the bakery. They've got full on cakes, pies, cheesecakes, cupcakes, etc in addition to individual portions and a vast selection of cookies, cannolis, tarts and on and on.
Bought a dozen pignoli cookies, tried the first one, hard as rocks and stale, tried a few more and they were just as bad, threw them out.. Disappointed

Bought a variety of truffles today at Alpharetta store. Some were marked $13.95 per pound, and some were marked $12.95, yet I was charged $13.95 per pound for ALL of them! When I pointed out the discrepancy, Danielle ( name on receipt) refused to correct. She also complained when I asked for the receipt. So I ll buy mr desserts elsewhere.
Wonderful food; excellent service. Largest array of desserts, all mouthwatering. The Cobb Salad was huge and beautifully prepared; delicious meatball hero with parmesan fries - perfect! I took away one star because the "background" music was so loud that we couldn't hear each other speak. Asked waitstaff to PLEASE lower it three times. They said they would but it still blasted us almost out of our seats during the entire meal. But everything else was WONDERFUL!

What an awesome bakery'! We've been there a few times & so far our favorites are; coconut cake, chocolate mousse cupcake, Swiss roll cake, keylime pie, Napoleon peanut butter cheese cake. The portions are large enough fir two people to share. Very good. We will be back.
I'm picky with desserts since I work in a bakery but they definitely impressed me. The truffles were delicious!

Our go to for Italian pastry. I like the sfogliatelle but my dad said it was a little soggy. I get it every time. The cannoli is ok when the pastry is covered on both sides in chocolate. Otherwise soggy. My wife loves the cream puffs. Dinner there is always good. I like their eggplant Parma with hard boiled egg. A little expensive but good enough to keep me coming back.
