Never use this company. Daughter had to cancel holiday due to ill health. Company not interested in paying out. Saying I didn't put the right return date which is rubbish. Going to take this to the financial ombudsman as they are rather on the slow side at responding to any correspondence. There should be a minus rating on this as one star is far too high. I'm a 78 year old pensioner who saved for a nice holiday. Couldn't go because of my daughter being unwell and they treat me like this. It took over three weeks to send their ridiculous email. Disgusting customer service. Stay well clear. Don't know how they're still in business.

Another dodgy scam insurance company that shouldn't be allowed to trade. Made a claim and refused to pay out even though it was full car insurance. One day your company and all your dodgy employees will be shutdown.

Been waiting 6 weeks for my hotel expenditure back been told on 3 separate occasions that it will be played in 10 days then an error in there part so I will have to wait another 10 day s and so on tomorrow is the day the have hole heartily promised me it will be in no sense of wrong doing on there and just feel that no one is taking me serious was deal ing with KYLE WARNER who to say the least is spineless said 3 weeks ago he would phone me back and hasn't if the money's not in my account tomorrow i come to for a face to face conversation about this as being passed round the office on the phone isn't happening again

I bought a one year cover car rental excess for a trip to Portugal. I stated in the form that the cover was for going to Portugal and paid the fee. As I purchased this police I didn t feel necessary to pay extra for the car hire Full insurance. Our car was broken into and our baggage stolen. I got a police report and when it came to make a claim they said that the policy isn t valid due to Portugal not being on the COVID exclusion list. In fact the policy didn t actually provide any cover for my trip but they were still happy to sell me the policy. I asked why and the girl dealing with me said it states that on page 11 point 3 of the 15 page wording document the travelling against government advice will exclude cover. It also states that during a pandemic cover is also excluded so basically they are currently selling policies that they are not legally providing any cover for!
Unless you are a lawyer and are willing to dissect the 15 page small print to understand what restrictions apply stay clear of this company. It s a shock that big businesses are still able to sell these sneaky scam policies to their customers. Shame on you.

I bought premimum insurance from them and sprained my ankle grade 2, I had to cancel flights, had to pay for taxis to go to hospital and crutches and flights for my family and this is what they replied:

The service is terrible and they only paid for one flight with luggage allowance and not for the other. Nothing else. They are just money grabbers.

It has been nearly 3 months since I made the claim (CN573416), yet the payment is long overdue and no one cares.

I mailed them several times and was told on 23 Jan. 2018 that there was an issue when making the proposed payment, but their Finance department have advised that they expect to be able to issue payment into my bank account within the next 15 working days. HOWEVER, UNTIL NOW (22 FEB. 2018), STILL I HAVE HAD NOTHING.

Absolute scum. Bought tickets for a rather expensive event across the pond and so decided to take the missed event insurance when prompted. However within minutes of my purchase I found that the money had already come out of my account and that I had received an extremely shabby email riddled with mistakes that included a different cost than had been stated and the period that the insurance covered ended 4 days before the event started! May try and get my money back tomorrow although having read the other reviews about people attempting and failing to get there money back and the fact that it's an 0800 number I might just leave it. I hope they choke on it.

Absolutely suck. Bought a ticket to fly to Santiago, Chile for my daughter. Paid full fare ($1,400) and United sold me this insurance for $100 ish saying it would cover every type of delay, cancelation etc. Wrong. United, being the hopeless airline they are, denied Ally boarding in San Francisco so she missed her connection, had to stay a night in SF. Then they were late and missed her connection in Houston so had to stay another night. These crooks denied her claim for food, under wear etc ($350) on the basis that the delay isn't covered under their policy. It was United's fault AND they sold me the policy, now they won't pay. Spend hours on the phone fighting and eventually gave her. Even though Ally is active duty in the US military and she last 3 days of her vacation to see us. Criminal.

I have been in contact with Allianze Global Assistance after I had to cancel a flight because the person I was going to stay with died very suddenly. I have had my claim rejected because I was unable to send a copy of the Death Certificate and although I sent a copy of the Obituary this was not sufficient. In view of the extremely sensitive nature of my claim this company are using the lack of a Death Certificate as an excuse not to meet their obligation which I find totally unacceptable and I certainly would not use them again.

Total con artists. Never opted to buy "missed event insurance" with my ticket purchase from Ticketmaster, but low and behold they've charged me for it. The first thing you hear on their automated answering machine when you call them is "If you're calling for a refund..." showing they know they're scam artists. 2 days and 2 emails later, still no response. Can't believe ticketmaster would even partner with these thieves.

I was sold rental car insurance which was only valid for people with a US driving licence. At no point during the transaction - where I provided my UK nationality, UK drivers licence and UK address - was I told or advised that this policy was not suitable for me.

I recommend avoiding Allianz at all costs.

Worst company EVER!!! Took out world wide travel insurance for backpackers. After having a severe accident abroad with high risk injuries, the service was horrific. Leaving us in limbo and not responding to emails.

I bought event ticket from ticketmaster and been forced to buy this useless ensurance without my aware. I called them to cancel but no one pick up the phone, voice mail told me to write an email. I wrote 2 emails, not hear back anything.

Two payments are long overdue but the service is just pathetic. I phoned them on 21st December and was told they needed to contact their finance department to investigate why payments hadn't been made yet. I spoke to them again on 5th January and was told that one payment (CN569324) was just being processed because they were experiencing some technical problems over Christmas period but they would need to contact their finance department regarding the second one (CN569787). HOWEVER, THERE IS NO TIMESCALE FOR THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT RESPONSE! I'm not prepared to wait forever and going to complain to financial ombudsman.

Doesn't even deserve 1 star but 0 isn't an option. Awful company to deal with. Happy to reply to emails until they realised they would have to pay out then nothing from them in 2 months despite several follow up emails. Complete waste of money paying extra to cover concert tickets.

Never take insurance with this company they leave you in the cold if you have help they are big dogs they do not pay out and the problem is with you it is your fault etc
