Great service for installation and explanation of options. After a year a very simple issue popped up and they were si frustratingly unhelpful unless you paid a $99 service charge. When explaining it was a simple cover they refused to give a product number becuase "they can't be responsible foe giving you information that could lead you to do it yourself and get hurt". It would of been funny if it wasn't so frustrating

Their reply to this review was "We're sorry we can't diagnose issues over the phone." Well it was a plastic cover on the external hoses that blew off becuase it wasn't secured well enough by the original technician. While most can't be solved pretty sure this one was a slam dunk

The Aiello team showed up on time and worked straight thru the day to replace our 23-year-old Lennox AC system. They worked efficiently and neatly. The house was left in perfect condition. And throughout the very hot day, the men were courteous and respectful to us and, more importantly, to each other. It is so refreshing to find a competent and NICE crew.

Aiello Home Services just completed installing a cooling & heat pump system in my home. From start to finish the entire crew was friendly, personable, respectful, and professional. Mike Massetti was the lead Tech and was extremely thorough and represents the company well - absolutely LOVED him!. He made it a point to tell me exactly what he/his coworkers would be doing (before he/they did it, which was appreciated) to ensure I was aware of what work was going to be done. The crew was very respectful of my property as well. They laid down plastic from the entrance of the house all the way up to the attic and walked around the house with shoe covers on to protect my hardwood floors. They cleaned their mess as they went along and were truly non-intrusive.

Mike set the expectations on Day 1 for the scope of work and the length of time the install and final walk-thru would take. They started right on time every single day, which is a rarity these days...even in 90 degree weather, and worked right up until 5pm. Mike stuck to his word and had the entire project completed in 3 days.

I truly cannot recommend Aiello's enough. We definitely did our research before picking the company we were going to go with for this project and even though Aiello's was more expensive and the project start date was further out than we would have liked (they were booked solid and now we know why), it was 100% worth it.

Andre was very helpful in making sure my circuit breaker box would be safe by replacing two breakers until I could call our my A/C guy to do additional work on the condenser. Many thanks!

I was disappointed in the way AIELLO HOME Service made me spend up to $4500.00 more than I should have. I did mention to the technician that I was selling the house and I had questioned many times whether it was necessary to change the complete Heating unit. I later found out that the only thing wrong with the unit was that the heat exchanger that needed to be changed was under a 20 year warrantee. The technician new that the unit was only 15 years old, but never informed me that I could have just changed the heat exchanger under warranee for about $600 instead of the $5,114.32 that it cost me for the lowest cost option. Having said that, the workmanship appears to well done and the installation looks good.

I had some work done at my house to replace my water pressure tank. First I will say the repair man (not sure if I am allowed to say his name or not) was very professional and did a good job. My original tank had rusty pipes with some blue/green discoloration. The gentlemen replaced my tank with new copper and fittings which gave it a nice brand new shine. Before he left he tested my water to ensure all was working well. I was asking him questions during the process and he happily answered them. Thank you for your help.

Tim was extremely helpful fixing the outside faucet. He explained everything really well and suggested a valuable service plan that my husband and I are strongly considering.Thanks Tim!

Nick, Scott, and Rocco were extremely professional and thoughtful in working on my project. They took time to explain in detail the work they were doing and the reasons for it. They treated me with respect and kindness and I truly appreciated it.

Technician arrived too early. Very friendly and efficient. Furnace checkup was complete in 20 minutes. $141 is too pricey for this annual checkup in my opinion.

Jesse and Jesse are one of the best tag teams I have encountered. They are both courteous and works well together. They explained well what they need to do and why. They completed the work cleanly and made very good recommendations based from the result of the test that they completed. If I have a choice I would like them to be my permanent Aiello techs

Home energy audit went well and I was happy with the results. The 2 gentlemen were very nice and thorough. They came in with shoe coverings and also covered the floor at the entrance. It was raining so I thought that was very considerate.
Just by what I experienced today I am going to call Aiello for other concerns in my home (heater noise, toilet, Insulation for attic, etc.). Thank You

This was my first time getting service from Aiello to service my oil burning furnace. The technician was very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions I had!! The appointment was very quick and the technician was super personable. Pricing was extremely reasonable given the time of year and work performed in comparison to other companies. My furnace is now running better than before!!

John did an excellent job here for us! He was very patient and clear when explaining things that he determined needed to be done to bring our system up to snuff. Bob was our plumber, and he was very good, explaining, then fixing what needed to be fixed. He was very honest and did such a great job!! He was very thorough. Would recommend him to everybody!

They charged me 69 dollars to come see a job where I needed a 240 line run to the garage for an electric heater. When the tech showed up, he asked me "how much I was willing to pay", then proceeded to give me a quote for 3000 dollars. The way they work, they make money either way. He was here for 10 minutes and made 69 dollars. When I called to complain, they offered to return the 69 dollars. I am still awaiting the refund. I would never use these guys and recommend no one else does. I got the job done by a West Hartford company for 500 dollars. Aiello are worse than highway robbers as they play on people's ignorance and fear.

The three men who did our home efficiency survey were courteous, efficient, unobtrusive & very neat. We were very happy with their work & strongly recommended this company.

Jason was very attentive to detail and informed me of a problem with my compressor that entailed doing a chemical wash to allow the compressor to work more efficiently. There was a blanket of pollen and dust buildup that could not be seen until the outer panels were removed. He was most professional as well.

So I called for a quote to upgrade my panel from 100 amps to 200 amps. National average for the work is $1000 to $2500. These clowns quoted me $6500 for the work. Got 3 other quotes from reputable companies in the area and they we ALL within the national average. Save your time and avoid these overpriced crooks. Plenty of better companies in the area.

Technicians were great; however, it has been my experience that when a home service comes to my house, the service charged is waived if I am charged for work completed. I was charged about $1,000.00 for repairs, but the service charge was not waived. And to add insult to injury, this was the 3rd time I had Aielio out to my house for the same issue. Therefore, I paid $300.00 in service charges. That seems a little greedy.
Because of this issue, I cannot recommend Aiello

Called for emergency services(blocked sewer line, water everwhere) on Saturday, today is Thursday, I still have not received a phone call back. Too bad I had to use another company to get my buisness up and running again.

Technician Ray D'Amato deserves five stars. On his serivce visit he was prompt, polite, and knowledgeable. He listened attentively to my questions, so that the solution to the day's problem felt like a collaborative effort. He was respectful not only of me, but also of my house. He kept his shoes covered whenever he was inside my residence. Ray is a credit to the Aiello team.

Steve did a great job!!! He replaced my water heater, replaced the pressure valve for my boiler and replaced my thermostat. So far...so good. I'm happy with his work and his professionalism.

I was weeding an area behind my condo. I accidentally cut a wire to my A/C unit thinking it was a vine climbing up the back of my house. I immediately called Aiello for assistance. I spoke to Kevin. He said one of his dispatchers would call me within 30 minutes. I received a call from Brianna within 10 minutes, letting me know a technician was in the area & she would call to let me know he was on his way. Another 10 minutes Rob was here. He is the nicest guy. He thoroughly explained how he was going to fix my problem & was done in a matter of minutes. It is so hot today. Rob saved the day. Thank you Rob. I highly recommend Aiello Home Services. Everyone I spoke to from start to finish couldn t have been nicer, just wonderful!

Robert Nadile came to the house to replace a water heater. He was very nice with a good sense of humor, not to mention very efficient... put the water heater in, in a short amount of time, explaining everything that was done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone with plumbing problems. They are as good as their commercials say!!!

Found leaking water heater Sun nite. Turned it off and called Aiello knowing
i would get an answering service. They returned my call at 0630 and had a tech
on site by 0730. Replaced heater and had hot water again by 1045. Great job,
great service at a reasonable price!

Had a Bosch combination boiler/water heater installed. Guys did a great job and left the work area clean. Communication throughout the entire process was fantastic. Job delivered as promised. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Mike Massetti and his crew installed a new oil tank in our basement. It was not an easy job since we have no outside access to the basement.
They had to work very hard to maneuver the very heavy new tank through a hallway, the kitchen, and another hallway where they had to make another tight turn onto the basement stairs. In the basement, they had to make two more tight turns to enter the furnace room. They did all of this without touching our white walls or scuffing the floors. It was an all day job but Mike and his crew were so nice and quiet, I never felt disturbed by their presence. In summary, Mike and his crew were friendly, polite, very neat(their final clean-up left my basement cleaner than it was before), and above all very efficient.

Mark and the others from Aiello were prompt , thorough and professional. The installation took less than a day, and everything seems to work well.

Zack Elflein proved to be a personable, knowledgeable and efficient HVAC service technician who rapidly diagnosed my problem and resolved it quickly. He was respectful of our home and us! He had to return to identify and correct refrigerant leaks in our three head unit a week later in miserable weather and was once again professional, cheerful and efficient! Thanks Zack!

I was satisfied with the speed of technicians coming yesterday and today, their ability to diagnose the problems, and fixing them in a timely manner.
I also liked today's technician wearing shoe covers so that he would not bring dirt inside.

Tom S - service tech - performed a boiler cleaning and tune-up. He was professional and courteous. In addition, he was very knowledgeable and was able to answer every question I had about my hydronic system. Great service all around.

Our Aiello technician, Shawn, did a great job today, first by explaining what he and his assistant were going to do and how they were going to do it, and then following through very efficiently. Shawn also had a great suggestion for how we could make our attic entry more easily accessible, and we went with his suggestion. As expected from Aiello technicians, they were polite, friendly and knowledgeable. All in all it was a very good experience for us.

Ive had a Great experience both time i needed service, they were prompt, professional, and explained the issure thoroughly.. They had proper PPE and i felt comfortable and safe to have them work in my home with the pandemicand all.. Definitely a 5 star Thank you!!!!

Happy with the service but not cost. Our garbage disposal broke and needed to be replaced I was on way to work in the city so couldn t see or approve before work was done. My wife said it cost over $800 for the replacement. I called and asked for a line-item invoice but was told they don t provide they charge a flat fee for service and labor. The only reason to charge a flat fee and not provide breakout is to hide the cost from clients. $800 seems very expensive for a garbage disposal replacement. Can anyone clarify cost for me??

Rob showed upright on time, did an excellent job inspecting and explaining everything clearly.

The guys were very nice. Asked if I had questions. Explained the problem with my air and fixed it.

Zack came out for a failed compressor and had it up and running in no time. He took the time to explain all the parts and how the entire system works, and I really appreciated that. I will definitely be using Aiello again and requesting Zack for his expertise and professionalism.

Update 2017: While we were very happy with Aiello 2 years ago sadly it seems the company has gone down hill since. Scheduled an appointment for furnace and boiler yearly check-up. Scheduled it for 3 weeks in advance. Changed my work schedule for it. 48h prior to the appointment they called to cancel it (on a weekend when I couldn't do much) with no explanation and offered an appointment that was another 3 weeks away. Last year when we tried to schedule an appointment with them we were told they're fully booked and I should call in a month. It seems like they're understaffed and if they can't even plan their routine work I wouldn't trust them in an emergency. Don't fall for the "promotions" and sales they offer. Just go with another company that can do the job. Prices are comparable.
2015: We called Aiello for yearly maintenance of our hot water heater and furnace. Shawn F. was extremely courteous and went out of his way to answer questions about the work he was performing as well as other services from Aiello we were thinking about. He was knowledgeable and competent and offered recommendations/advice about proper air filters for allergens as well as CO detectors.
The hot water heater was acting up both before and after the maintenance so Shawn came back a few days later to help pinpoint the problem, and given that the heater is old he was also able to provide detailed information about types of replacements, approximate cost, pros and cons of different models and the work involved in terms of installation.

If you are deciding to use Aiello, please be aware that they are going to be at minimum $300 more expensive than anywhere else. Transformer replacement should not cost me $500. The part alone costs $20-40, and its an easy fix. I was charged $500 for that. There were other fixes I needed as well, so you can imagine my bill. I was left with a $1500 bill for something that should ve costed me around $500. This is a price gouging company. Please don t make the same mistake I made.

And no, Aiello never did contact me again to discuss anything. So the owner s comment is just to make the company look good. If you want to save money, don t look for Aiello.

MY WATER PROBLEM WAS HANDLED QUICKLY AND PROFESSIONALLY THE SAME DAY I CALLED .

I used Aiello Home Services for electrical repairs that I needed to be taken care of immediately. I was able to get an appointment and the repairs done within 24 hours of calling.

The electrician that came out, Matt Rose was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend him for your electrical needs.

We purchased a replacement Central Air unit from them. The contract was for Aiello to measure the needs and select a unit designed for the size of the house. They installed the unit they identified as appropriately sized. Immediately we noticed that the old unit actually did a better job cooling the house than the new one. The unit was unable to maintain internal temp of 76 even when external temp was in the low-mid 80s, even though the unit ran constantly. They were called out again and the tech indicated it was not wired correctly and overcharged. He "fixed" the problem and left. A few months later we called them out again and they found that the wiring was again not attached correctly and "fixed" it again. The following summer, we contacted them again to complain that the unit was not keeping the house at temp. They indicated that it was expected given the warm weather outside and never sent another tech out. We called this year and complained again, they indicated they would send a tech out and gave us an appointment for a month later. We called another HVAC company who came out and found several issues.
1. The thermometer was not connected correctly to the air handler.
2. A valve within the air handler was not operating correctly, and likely hadn't been operating correctly since install.
3. The unit was overcharged.
4. the compressor unit was undersized for the house.

Luckily, the cost of the valve was still covered under the warranty, however, we still had to pay for the labor and a coolant as they had to drain the system to replace the valve.

I would never use this company again. Their focus is on getting to the most calls possible rather than making sure the job is done and the customer is satisfied.

UPDATE: the company s response in this post is a bit misleading. We had contacted the company several times since the original install with concerns. We also tried to get ahold of a manager. Only after several calls this year to the company, and after contacting another company come out try to fix the system, and after contacting the manufacturer about concerns with the this company, did I post this initial review.

UPDATE: after this post, I was contacted by a manager who agreed to reassess the calculations and if the system was incorrectly sized, fix the error. They found it was not sized correctly and did replace the product with the appropriate unit. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, a new unit wasn t available until late summer, and the temperature was not substantial enough for us to ensure it was correctly balanced. We hope that when the heat arrives, the system will work as expected.

Bob did a fantastic job of giving us options on our plumbing needs and selling as well as installing 3 new toilets.
