Aiello Home Services Review

I had been dealing with another company for 2 weeks and still had no resolution to my issue. My neighbor recommended Aiello and I called for an appointment. Rick Newman came out on Saturday disassembled the portion of my HVAC system where the problem was, diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate for the repair and reassembled the equipment.

I decided that I did not want to invest money in the repair of my old HVAC system and Rick put a call to James Fullana, Replacement Specialist; James called me back and made an appointment for later that day. James spent almost 2 hours with me going over house dimensions/requirements and then preparing several options for HVAC replacement. I made a decision on which system I wanted and James drew up the paperwork to get things started.

So far my experience with Aiello has been 5 star. Rick and James were courteous, professional, knowledgeable and helpful.......I cannot say enough about both of them.

Fast service, excellent technicians and stand by their service. Aiello has a great special going on $93 or it free on sewer drain clean out and it actually $93!!!!! It even comes with a camera inspection included in price and the technician doesn t try to upsale you for any unnecessary work very honest will recommend to anyone.... Mike D. arrived at our home precisely at the time the work was scheduled. He replaced an outdoor faucet located in our garage which had frozen during the past winter. The job was complicated by the fact that no turnoff valve had been installed on an inside wall because the house, which was built on a rock ledge, had no crawlspace under the area adjacent to the garage. Mike assessed quickly the best alternative and went about the installation with material which wsa clearly superior to the original. His attention to detail as well as his polite and cheerful manner and advice regarding how best to insulate the area around the fixture were sincerely appreciated. This was my first experience with Aiello and I will be pleased to recommend their services to anyone!

I feel completely swindled by this company. I ve been using them for 10 years, but have had many problems the last 3. After a recent unsuccessful visit, I called a competing company that a real estate agent friend recommended and they were half the price. Do not use this company.

Hello Aiello You Saved Us . We needed help & they were promptly out on short notice due to #NoHeat . Richard N., tech was professional, caring & knowledgeable. Diagnosed our 28yr old gas furnace. Result: R.I.P. furnace. Then Richard called the calverly Tim L., replacement specialist who braved the latest Nor easter, 3/7/18, was here within 35mins. Tim was knowledgeable, professional, calculationed BTUs & proposed options. Bottom line: Tim L. was like family....no pressure, no games...just the fact #New gas furnace set up. I was really impressed with the courtesy and professionalism with which Ross and Dan worked. They really knew the insides of a house, and what makes it tick. -- They even seemed to like the dogs!

Ross and Dan did everything they could to make the visit worthwhile, discussing insulation in the attic to the expansion tank on the furnace in the cellar. The new LED bulbs they installed really brightened up the dark spaces.

I highly recommend this team!

Nick did a great job assessing both jobs and providing a quote that was spot on. He then executed the repairs with professionalism. I am extremely pleased with Nick and his expertize. Thanks for a great job.

Jesse and Mike arrived when promised. Jesse took the time to explain the details of the Energy Audit and what I could expect. During the entire visit, I was regularly updated on their progress and their findings. Their level of cooperation made it clear that these two men know what they were doing. I was informed of a serious problem with the exhaust from my water heate. Jesse advised me as to my rights with a different company who had done the incorrect installation. Based on this excellent advice, I had the repair done and the audit was later completed by Jesse C. and another Jesse. I found Jesse C. to be friendly, intelligent and very informative, which caused me to further contract with Aiello to install additional insulation in my home. The gentlemen who provided this service, Doug and his helper, were efficient and very careful not to dirty my home. Once again, I am amazed at the fine work done by Aiello and their staff. I have no doubt that I will use them again.

Electrician Robert Heim is the best. We have had him do work twice at our house and have been very happy.

Due to the circumstances the individual came to the job with my parents safety in mind and practice all safety precautions. The job was done very professionally and honor the quote that was prepared by another technician. My service man was bob he was very nice and interacted with my dog... he gave me all the information regarding my kitchen sink problem...he gave me my opinions and started to replace my garbage disposal very quickly

Your entire team was great to work with. Unfortunately the first technician was not licensed to work on my furnace but it was not an emergency so I could wait a few days. Clay has worked on my system before and he always does a great job and lets me know exactly what he has to repair. It always costs more than I expected but I will continue to call Aiello Home Services for HVAC and plumbing service.

Aaron came to do my annual air conditioner check. The serviceman arrived within the allotted time span. He was friendly and courteous. Aaron explained exactly what he was going to do for the checkup. He made sure to ask if I had any questions or concerns. I was very pleased with my service experience.

I had a great experience with Aiello! They were quick, and answered all my questions. The technicians cleaned up everything after the job was done, and were very respectful of me and my home. The office staff was great in letting me know about rebates, filling them out and telling me EXACTLY what I had to do and where to mail. Would definitely use again

The service itself was timely and professional, however, I was very put off when I tried to contact Aiello after the work had been done. I left multiple messages and was told only one specific person could talk to me about my bill. I waited several days and tried again, but it became very evident that this person had no interest in talking to me to resolve my situation.

I gave 1 star because I hope someone at Aiello sees this and taps that man/woman on the shoulder and wakes them up so others get better service.

Fast service. Professional neat and clean work. Detailed quote with three options. Had parts on truck. Perfect.

The driver showed up within of 15 minutes after the call from his dispatcher. The driver was very cordial and friendly. Doug,the service tech, was surprised my 18 year external air condition unit had not needed any service calls.Doug thoroughly checked all the electrical and mechanical components using a computer for both the furnace and outdoor unit.
After Doug was done with the inspection he explained to me in "English" what work was needed. Doug replaced 2 electrical components that needed to be replaced and a water drain that the original installers screwed up.The bill was a little higher than expected but the quality of the repair work was well worth it.I have had electrical and plumbing repairs done by other contractors and they all cost more than you expect. Now that I found a trusted contractor I will call him for plumbing and electrical repairs as needed. I would definitely recommend Aiello.

SEE UPDATE BELOW.. NOT GOOD.. Had install of 2 mini splits in June. A/C works excellent. Does a wonderful job and keeps the whole house at whatever temp you set it to, not like a window a/c where its cold in one room and hot in another. Even keeps my LR cold which fights full day of sun and full length windows. First time we turned the heat it makes an extreeemely loud obnoxious non stop knocking noise. Tech was at my house for over 3 hours and had to pass the problem off to Mitsubishi themselves to test in a lab to try to figure out. That was just about a month ago, keep hearing they ordered parts. The sales pitch on the heat was that we should use that until absolutely necessary to turn on the furnace. Well now it's getting cold and still no heat and no call to reschedule fix even after calling every week. They are very nice on the phone, there is no denying that, but now I'm just getting annoyed and cold. Shouldn't have issues after 4 months of use and first time using heat. I'll update my review when its fixed!...

Update.. came out with new parts.. which didn't work, fried a board or something. I over heard the tech on the phone with mits asking for what next part to order.. heard that and marched into the living room and said absolutley no way are you putting more replacement parts into a brand new unit. They called the warehouse to see if a new unit was avail. It was... or so we thought. Techs left to get new unit, came back, installed the whole thing only to find out it was the wrong unit. 6pm. And now they seem irritated with me because they had plans! So now that's 4 times I've had to stay home from work for them.. 5th times a charm, following week they got the correct unit and installed. Spoke to Steve Feinstein multiple times with my frustration and told him we should get a year of free maintenance for having to miss work 5 times (mind u, the first time was a no show and no call till 10:30, had i known earlier I could have gone to work) and my extreme frustration. Never offered me anything! Oh and btw.. the comment from Aiello on my first comment... NOONE reached out to me. Do good by us and I'll change my review

We try to ALWAYS use Aiello if only due to overall satisfaction with a company, especially when it comes to home repairs. Matthew in the HVAC department was absolutely STELLAR and made sure I felt completely comfortable not only with the repair and his workmanship, but also making sure to keep me informed on what I should keep an eye on in the future. He went above and beyond, walking through the entire basement with me and checking over all the piping and lines, making sure I knew what components were critical to operation and also potential failure. I Would 100% recommend him to in need of HVAC work.

Always punctual and friendly. They cost a bit more but is well worth it for reliability and the confidence that this company will be there in the future. My past experience with contractors was they are often spotty at best.

Prompt, courteous service. Reasonable price. Richard Nadile was personable, competent and even wore shoe covers to protect our floors. Will call again for future work. Highly recommend!

Overall the service was fine. Clay, the technician was very thorough in checking my furnace and air conditioner. I look forward in having Aiello serve my home again.

We have used Aniello 3 times now. They are professional, responsive and do excellent work. However, it is hard to continue to use them as their prices are extravagant, and prohibitively expensive. Shame, cause they are so nice .

Bob did an amazing job. He was thorough and made sure the water heater replacement was perfect. Would call him again in a heartbeat.

Really disappointing. They installed our central AC unit & also our water system. All seemed fine until there were problems (which there were with both units). Repairs were REALLY expensive and often, they had to come back 3-4 times for one repair because of screw-ups on their part. I've spent thousands of $ with Aiello & I will never spend another penny with them. I highly advise you to look for someone else. Aiello is polished, but really horrible in terms of quality.

Keith is immensely talented, professional and thorough. He and Ross S. did a fabulous job on my home audit. Could not be more pleased.

I had a leak on my radiator steam vent and A valve on the other side of radiator that goes into the floor, aiello came out gave me a $2200 quote decided to get another opinion so called another company they came out fixed everything for $270 so thank you aiello for trying to rip me off , the part they said that was leaking just needed to be tightened and then they were charging $500 for a steam vent when they aren t even $50.

I had an electrical emegency. Updated wires and fuse box shorted out and blew the circuit board.in the furnace. Called Aiello. They showed up when they said they would. Matt R. and Ben V. They took a look and and said electrical system is dangerous. They coordinated with Eversource immediately and got a new power line to the house and started on upgrading the entire system. They were done in 1/2 a day. Got power and called Ray to look at the furnace. Problem was diagnosed and fixed in no time. Added value to the house as well as peace of mind with an upgraded electrical system. Thank again

richard quesada arrived within about a half hour since he happened to be in the neighborhood. he was most friendly and courteous and diagnosed
the difficulty with my delta faucet and determined that i'd need a new faucet unit.
i am now evaluating a replacement unit and should decide by monday
and will contact aiello home services to see if it's possible to schedule
within richard's workload.
again, i was quite pleased with his manners and guidance.

Rick was prompt, courteos and efficient for my annual furnace check. I have used Aiello for many years and have not yet been disappointed.

Very prompt, extremely polite and professional. The water heater was installed in about an hour, and the job was clean, tidy and exactly what you would expect.

Excellent service from start to finish! They took the pain out of shelling out money to replace my weary AC! They arrived on time, consulted with me, did the job, cleaned up and then reviewed the work with me and my wife. I ve dealt with them on several occasions over the years and they always come through!

My Aiello team was extremely responsive and professional. I had a heat pump system put in my unit and all the guys that came out that did the work were on time and was able to complete the difficult job in a day. Aiello office staff were very helpful and professional in setting up the appointment, confirming our appointment, and following up with questions prior to our appointment to ensure everything was done properly during our appointment window. Both service technicians arrived within our time window. They wore "booties" over their shoes to ensure they didn't not track anything into our house. The service technicians were professional, very knowledgeable, and were thorough in completing the services we requested.

This is my first time leaving a review for anything. But I felt compelled to do so after Aiello Home Services installed a new boiler in my home. I really don't know how to put in words how ecstatic I am with the service received from Aiello. The day before they arrived I was sent by text a bio of the team doing the job and an ETA when the team was arriving. They arrived on time and told me this was an all day job. I did not understand why. but so be it. I had to leave and go about my business around 3pm. they were still working. I asked them to lock up when they were done.

When I arrived home later that night I went to the basement to check out the work they performed. And now i understand why it takes all day. Now this is where I don t know what to say. So super impressed with the completed job. I never expect a boiler to look so good. Everything was redone, Plumbing, Wiring, flue pipe and oil line. Not a screw or wire out of place. I know it is just a boiler but I actually have been down there about 5 times just to look at the beautiful work they did. I truly have never been more impressed by a home service company!

I needed my main line drain cleaned out. Aiello came out the same day and the job was done in about an hour. The technician was very polite and knew what he was doing. I was impressed with the care he took to keep the work area clean and that he wore booties inside the house. The price was compatible with another clean out from a different firm. I would use Aiello services again.

Five stars aiello the three gentlemen who came to my house were super professional and quite young but they knew there job and they had pleasant personalities. And did a great job on my air flow measurements...windows for drafts...duct testing and sealing...door flow..and they were simply charming we talked about everything while they were here Michael...stef..and another im sorry i cant rememberall there names i spoke with Michael on the phone these three are the ones you want and trust in your house i felt as if i could of left and all would be good five stars for great work and kindness.

They installed a unit that I paid almost $12,000 for it and the day after it took 2 techs to fix a small water leak. Not even 2 weeks after the whole unit malfunction and it leaked water all the way down to my living room. Then the tech gave me an attitude in my own house and he left and I didn't get it fixed until 2 days after. It was a poor installation for a very expensive unit. I had a 16 year old unit that never gave me any issues. After leaving few voice-mail I never heard nothing back from them...not even an opolygy or some money back for the horrible experience.

Jesse was very courteous and professional. Took his time to explain the details, made sure my questioned were answered.

Matt R and Mike D showed up right on time to do an electrical system inspection and estimate some additional work I am considering. I got a written estimate, plus a verbal quote to fix a problem I showed them when they were here. They were informative about that aren't up to current code (house is 30+ years old), but there was no selling pressure. The entire appointment was covered under the membership plan. The estimate is kind of high as expected; my consistent experience with this company is expensive, but work done right and quickly.

Terry W. is very professional and provided excellent and constructive recommendations to address some duct changes that we are considering. He was one of the individuals who installed our Lennox systems 2 years ago and did an excellent job. Very neat and a great overall install experience.

Mark and his associate showed up in time to start the service. They were able to
complete the project within the time frame estimated by the sales representative in a professional and courteous manner. Mark was able to show us how to handle the
after service matters nicely. We were satisfied with their service.

Bob showed up on the button and checked out everything. He was polite and knowledgeable. He knew just what was wrong and how to fix it, plus he made some updated improvements. I am so thankful to have had the repairs done so quickly and in such an efficient manner. It made my day!

Technicians explained everything fully, repaired my furnace quickly and left my house neat and clean.

How can one finish servicing a Water Heater literally under 3 mins and charged me 190.00$. Actually he switched on the Pilot Switch and told me that he has fixed the issue and if issue persist, we will replace the part. I informed that I have switched on Pilot myself few times in past but he said we will see. That's cheating Not satisfied at all.
However, once I informed the Client Manager of this incident they were prompt to send another technician and take care of this incident within 24 hrs. This made me to review my comments and now I'm doing fine. I would recommend to work with this company.

Technician was knowledgeable. Explained all our options. Explained service contracts. I would definitely use Aiello again.

I left work early for a 2:00 appointment, I called the office at 2:30 to check on the status of the electrician. I received a phone call at 2:45 to inform me he was on the way, and he showed up at 3:15 and was finished before 5:00. The Electrician was very friendly and professional and did a great job.
But he installed 5 GFCI outlets, and Aiello Home Services charged me $992. Even if each GFCI outlet cost $50, x5 is $250. Plus the $69 service fee. Labor for roughly 2hrs of work cost $600!!!!! So if you want excellent electrical service at $300/hr call Aiello.

Shawn was a great technician. He was very professional and a great help. He found the problem and fixed it in minutes. He also pointed other several areas that needs more attention.

***Update*** The furnance was installed incorrectly and never actually kicked into Stage 2, so essentially it was trying to heat the entire house on the lowest heat output. Tech came and "Fixed" it by only making the furnance run on stage 2. Then by Mid April 2019 the temps went high enough for us to turn on the A/C, except it didnt work. Called Aeillo and scheduled an appointment for a Monday. Monday comes and by 7:30pm no tech, I call and was told he would call when he was 30 min out...No Thanks...I cancelled and called another company who showed up on time....The Kicker??? When Aeillo installed the new furnace they forgot to hook up the wire coming from the thermostat that tells the board to turn the A/C on..so that was another $150 bucks down the drain. I think I still have 1 more maintenance left on my contract but at this point I wont even let them in my driveway let alone inside my house. Lesson learned.

Would not recommend based on our recent furnace purchase. Purchased the furnace based on Aeillos recommendations, and promised energy savings etc etc. Turns out the furnance uses more energy and is less efficient than the 30 year old unit it replaced. Our enegry bill has increased and the house is colder.

Dan came out to help us with the installation of a new sink and faucet. He was amazingly professional and my wife I couldn't be happier with the results. In fact we were so pleased we're having Dan come back out to help us with some additional plumbing issues we have in the house. I would highly recommend Aiello Home Services and Dan for any project you may have!

All of the people at Aiello Home Services were prompt, kind, knowledgeable, and thorough. From the customer service representative to who took my original call on the phone to the three workers who came out to my house, I was impressed with their professionalism and friendly demeanor. I highly recommend Aiello Home Services for all of your home repair needs.

Nick was our technician today. He was timely, polite and extremely knowledgeable. He helped us solve our problem quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend.

Bob was very professional, he talked thru the various options and the costs. We agreed on the option/costs and Bob walked me thru the various steps throughout the process which was very helpful to me. Bob also showed me how to use the faucet once completed. Ken Britt, HVAC specialist, was fantastic. He was professional, knowledgeable and solved our problem. We will call and ask for Ken the next time we have an HVAC issue.

I called and explained that I had a water leak under my refrigerator. The came promptly within 30 minutes and identified the problem. Very professional and gave me a quote before fixing. Cleaned up everything before he left.

The technician was waiting in my driveway when I pulled up 5 minuets before the appointment. My problem was quickly diagnosed and easily explained as to what was causing the problem. My A/C is now blowing cold again.

They responded quickly to my urgent needs- flooded basement and an burst ancient water heater. The job was completed professionally and in a timely basis. Excellent work. A bit pricey, but quality was key.

One of our light switch plates was flickering and sparking when we turned on our basement light and it happened on a Sunday. We did not want to wait for Monday to have it looked at. We called Aiello and they were happy to help us on Sunday. We had Bob Heim come out and he was very good about taking care of what needed to be done. We would be happy to use Aiello again.

The technician that came was very nice. He let me know what the problem was and the options I had. He completed the job quickly and did a great job.

Unreliable service department. Bad customer service.
They installed my furnace a few years ago. Since then I've tried to get them out a couple of times to do an annual service and every time got cancelled because they had other work to do. They've called me every year asking to set an appointment but the times I scheduled one they cancelled it.
Today I scheduled a repair on the unit they installed and they never showed up. They called at 8:33am confirming that they would be here and that they would call when the technician was on the way. I waited until 1:44 and called. I was told that they would be here and the tech was still at a job 1hr and 15 minutes away, so they couldn't say when. I was patient with them both times and waited.
At 5pm the dispatcher called to ask me to reschedule for another day. I told her no. She said that they do not give a fixed scheduled arrival time. I told her that I knew that but that they had said when the appointment was made that they would be here late morning.
I explained that not showing up at all one day doesn't give me faith that they would show up the next day.
So far after hiring them to install my furnace partially so I could have a trusted service relationship I have not seen them since. In good faith I still tried after being blown off every year even after they've solicited my business with sales calls.
The manager Mike called me and after I laid out everything I wrote here and told him I wouldn't do business with them anymore he said "I'm sorry you feel that way because I was gonna offer to schedule you tomorrow for the first appointment at no charge. I told him he should have started the conversation with that. His dispatcher could have offered to schedule the first appointment when she called me. So I told them to forget it because I don't believe they meant it or would show up anyway.

Clay was prompt, very professional and helpful. He answered all of my questions clearly and pointed out a safety hazard of which I was unaware (damaged rung on attic ladder). He "knows his stuff" and represents the company very well!

Aiello took care of an energy audit on our house. Cory and Jesse were professional, explained everything down to my novice level, fixed up the house, instructed me on all the rebates we can use, and gave me some suggestions about next projects....looks like insulation! Anyway, based on this experience I will remember Aiello when considering home services in the future and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Rocco was incredibly efficient and professional. He did an outstanding job. He thoroughly explained everything he did for us on our home. Can t recommend him enough!
