SEE UPDATE BELOW.. NOT GOOD.. Had install of 2 mini splits in June. A/C works excellent. Does a wonderful job and keeps the whole house at whatever temp you set it to, not like a window a/c where its cold in one room and hot in another. Even keeps my LR cold which fights full day of sun and full length windows. First time we turned the heat it makes an extreeemely loud obnoxious non stop knocking noise. Tech was at my house for over 3 hours and had to pass the problem off to Mitsubishi themselves to test in a lab to try to figure out. That was just about a month ago, keep hearing they ordered parts. The sales pitch on the heat was that we should use that until absolutely necessary to turn on the furnace. Well now it's getting cold and still no heat and no call to reschedule fix even after calling every week. They are very nice on the phone, there is no denying that, but now I'm just getting annoyed and cold. Shouldn't have issues after 4 months of use and first time using heat. I'll update my review when its fixed!...
Update.. came out with new parts.. which didn't work, fried a board or something. I over heard the tech on the phone with mits asking for what next part to order.. heard that and marched into the living room and said absolutley no way are you putting more replacement parts into a brand new unit. They called the warehouse to see if a new unit was avail. It was... or so we thought. Techs left to get new unit, came back, installed the whole thing only to find out it was the wrong unit. 6pm. And now they seem irritated with me because they had plans! So now that's 4 times I've had to stay home from work for them.. 5th times a charm, following week they got the correct unit and installed. Spoke to Steve Feinstein multiple times with my frustration and told him we should get a year of free maintenance for having to miss work 5 times (mind u, the first time was a no show and no call till 10:30, had i known earlier I could have gone to work) and my extreme frustration. Never offered me anything! Oh and btw.. the comment from Aiello on my first comment... NOONE reached out to me. Do good by us and I'll change my review
