I ONLY VISITED DR. DO ONE TIME WHEN I HAD MY YEARLY PHYSICAL EXAM. I CHOOSE HER TO BE MY PCP BECAUSE THE LOCATION WAS CONVENIENT FOR ME. WHEN I VISITED HER, IT TOOK ME ALMOST 2 HRS TO BE SEEN. SHE WAS VERY GOOD DR. BUT THE STAFF ARE NOT. I ALSO END UP HAVING TO MAKE AN APPT FOR FOLLOW UP. I CANCELLED IT 3 DAYS BEFORE BUT I GOT BILLED $25. YOU HAVE TO CANCEL IT 48 HRS PRIOR TO YOUR APPT. WHEN I TRIED TO ASKED THEM THIS, THEY SAID THEY DIDN'T KNOW SO I MADE ANOTHER APPOINTMENT AND I GET A TEXT TODAY SAYING THAT IT WAS CANCELLED DUE FOR NOT SHOWING UP LAST TIME AND FOR ME TO FIND A NEW PCP!!!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL. NO WARNING WHATSOEVER!!!!! THEIR MISTAKE AND THEY NOT EVEN THE TYPE OF DR OFFICE THAT WOULD WORK WITH YOU!!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE. DR. DO, U DEFINITELY NEED NEW STAFF.

Facility was clean, staff was friendly. Dr. Do was polite, informative, good bedside manner. I walked in this morning with no appointment and needed to be seen for a sinus infection. Staff was able to get me in at 10:30AM.

I strongly discourage going to this group for medical exams related to immigration paperwork. I was made to pay out of pocket, even though they accept my insurance (confirmed by calling up the insurance company) and did not give me a complete medical bill/receipt for the services provided (despite repeated asking). Moreover, the staff treated me very poorly, gave me wrong information and also made several errors in entering my information, which resulted in an additional wait time of 45 minutes to get it corrected. Save yourself the frustration of dealing with this doctor's office and find another place to get the physical exam done.

Incompetence!!!! Scheduled an appointment last week. Gave them my insurance information and signed up on their portal. Arrived 20 minutes early to fill out paperwork. Sat for 20 minutes and was finally called to be i formed that the doctor was out of network. WTH!!!!!!! Why did they waste my time. I have them my insurance I formatio n when I made the appointment. Some lazy employee should have verified coverage and let me know before wasting my time. Now I will be out of medicine before I will have a free day next month to find a doctor.

I really loved Dr. Do. It was my first time being at this practice for a regular annual physical. She was very kind and and I felt that she really cared to know how I was feeling. The front office and medical assistants were also great. My only negative thought is the wait time. I felt like I was there forever, maybe an hour and 15 minutes in total.

My son had a MRI today to the tune of $800 (even with insurance) and we got here 30 minutes early. Still here 3 HOURS later. When he was done 30 minutes ago, I asked for a copy of the disc. Sat here and waited. When I go to check and see where the disk is, the lady HADN'T EVEN REQUESTED IT. So, we get to wait some more. Will NEVER come back here.

The worst facility to go and see for any health reason. The wait time at the hospital was ridiculous and then had Dr Do cancel my follow up appointment several times because she is too busy to be doing her job with her patients. I wouldn't go to this place again if she was the last doctor on the planet.

I recently called for an appointment to have someone check something in my ear, when I got there for the appointment, I was told that I had a bill from four years ago that I need to pay for and I was being question in front of patients. The front desk person was relentless until I told her this need to be discussed behind closed doors.I was appalled to have someone to ask me about a bill from 4 years ago that was ridiculous when they had ample enough time to call me.The nurse practitioner was very nice and very helpful to see me but the manager wanted me to pull out receipts right then and there to see if I ever paid when I came into office. I told her I paid what I was told to pay at that time of visit, which was my office visit. That was just too ridiculous when I had an appointment and they could have called me years ago about that.

Horrible experience. I go for my physical and report at 8:50 AM for 9:00 AM appointment and sit in observation room for 1 hr and 10 minutes and no doctor.

My time is as valuable as anyone and i understand that doctors get busy, perhaps 30 or 40 minute wait. They didn't even inform me if the doctor was running late. I was fasting for more than 8 hours and then left without a physical as I couldn't wait any longer.

I will be calling BBB tomorrow to report this treatment.

On top of that, neither doctor nor the staff had courtesy to call me and discuss the issue.
Horrible service.

If could give them a 0 I would. They are fully staffed yet the patients have to wait hours to be seen. My mothers appointment was at 9:30 am we checked in and 3 hours have passed by and still hasn't been called. At some point we were even told we didn't check in when we arrived 9:07 am. These people need to get on the ball. They lack leadership that's all they need and this facility would work great!

Poor billing practices. Every office will make mistakes, but it is how they address them that makes the world's difference. They have failed to correct a billing mistake the provider made after 4 months of multiple phone calls, portal messages, and in person discussions. Despite them stating over and over they have corrected the issue, I still keep receiving bills. I have 2 years experience working as a biller for a large family practice so I am quite familiar with how easy it is to fix. I will not be returning and do not recommend this office.

I thought I had found the Doctor for me. I won't tear this place down, but there's much for me to desire before I ever return. They say they take walk-ins , I've been told NO several times. They post on their walls all these things they do, only to be sent to their other clinic, I guess.. You try to explain you in chronic pain they call your Pharmacy,, duh!! Whenever have you treated me with more than Tramadol, that you find unfilled because they don't work !!! I'm aware of all the Pill Heads, you test me like a dope fiend , when I'm constantly asking you to help me keep my job . Then you ask me" Andrea what can I do for you "like I can prescribe for myself . I can't with them anymore.. God bless you Israel.. Dr. Do and you as well.. I'm not the best patient either, I'll admit.. Reaching your patient should be your lifestyle... Not angry, just need a Doctor to help...

Dr. Archna Vajpayee, MD is by far the best doctor I have ever seen. She takes the time to clearly explain everything to you and I can honestly tell she cares for her patients. The staff at AMG has always been very professional. Unlike most doctor offices, appointment times really mean something here, they see you promptly at the time that they give you for an appointment with no waiting around. I highly recommend Dr. Archna Vajpayee, MD and the Advanced Medical Group Office.

2 hours waiting for Chiron visit with doctor Do. The staff are rude and MEAN!!! I should sue for lost compensation. I had to call in sick at work. I was sent to the pharmacy to pick up my medication and they never sent it. I had to wait two days to make another appointment I wasn t due for yet. I called to ask the staff what happened after waiting for two hours for the FaceTime/Chiron visit and they put me on hold for 36minutes. Sincerely someone close this place down!!! Zero stars if I could. Don t walk in here unless you want to come out addicted to every drug and treated horribly!!

I was a patient of Dr. Victoria Do. She was a very good doctor and I liked being under her care. However, I had to switch from her as their grace period for being late is ONLY 5 minutes and it was my FIRST time being late to an appointment. I was the first appointment of the day and ran into much more traffic(there was an accident) than GPS had initially shown me. I had called at around 8 am(they open at 8:30) to let them know I'd be running about 10 minutes late. I got their answering service and they had let me know it was not a problem and that they will message the front office. Got there and the receptionist told me they did not receive any messages and turned me away. She also let me know I might have a no-show fee. How it can be a no-show fee when I did show up is beyond me. In the end, I did not get seen and they did not charge me for the no-show fee since it was my first time being late. Immediately changed my PCP as I found their late/no-show policies to be ridiculous.

I LOVE Dr. Do but unfortunately the office staff are HORRIBLE. They are rude, inattentive and good at making you feel like you're inconveniencing them. You ask for management you get a insincere response, "I'll address that! " I really wanted to continue seeing Dr. Do as an ongoing primary care doctor but the staff ruined that.

1st off, i will say the following staff members are the BEST!! Shana, radiology tech;Sabrina and Dede, paramedics; Lesma, Ma; and Kristal, check in. These staff members along with others, made my visits great each time. The facility is clean, plenty seats, large waiting area and a self serve coffee area makes it a great place for any medical service needs. I went in reluctantly for a back injection, but everyone helped me, assured me it would be ok...and low and behold, it was a great experience! ! I am now an advocate for back injection now that it has helped me!! This place will help you and explain everything! ! Great place!! Great staff!!

Dr. Do was excellent. However, stay sharp about their billing. I received an email with a payment portal link after my visit with a bill near $400 for a routine checkup. I called up my insurance and they insisted they covered the whole thing. When I called Advanced Medical Group, they said they couldn't find my bill or even my account. Glad I checked before paying.

I have a mixed feeling but overall positive ones. Reception stuff was really good - attentive, patient and supportive. I had however wait for hours for some of the back office personnel to act on insurance clearance, getting right medicals in time etc but overall they did leave a good impression. I liked Dr Do and would recommend her as pcp. Well done

I will preface this with Dr. Do is a great doctor, but her staff is completely incompetent when it comes to basic tasks of up keeping a medical office. They sent my gall bladder follow up to an orthopedic doctor even though I specifically asked to have an X-ray sent, have billed me $1500 for a physical even though my insurance is taken there and other appointments have been covered, and the staff is just rude in general. The only person I had a good experience with is Daisy who did my referrals. She s very efficient. It s unfortunate that Dr. Do will lose patients all to save money by hiring a staff that doesn t know how to do their job.

I was not surprised to check the reviews on this place and see that all the recent reviews are negative. This was my first ever experience with picking a doctor (Dr. Do) and the clinic ended up being a huge disappointment. The healthcare itself that I received was competent but the rest of how the clinic works... Yikes.

When you sign up for their portal or patient portion of their website, make sure to use a throwaway email. I used my main email and they literally send messages such as "Happy birthday to our patients celebrating a birthday this month!". Despite having our birthdates on file... this type of stuff gets spammed to everyone. I included a photo of it in my review because it actually blew my mind at the time that a sober adult could sit down at their computer, type that out, and reread it to themself before thinking "Yep, this is a message that every single patient at our clinic needs to see".

The worst part is that they send it at 2AM in the morning and the email itself just says to login to see a secure message from my physician so it implies it might be something important. Nope. I logged in just to waste my time with useless spam and trust me, this happens frequently. So I ended up completely blocking all messages from what is supposed to be my place for health care to avoid getting spam alerts on my phone in the middle of the night.

This and other factors made me actually stop going completely around a year ago. Even though it's a pain to deal with the paperwork of a new facility and the new doctor phase, it was worth leaving this place. I didn't even bother to ask them to transfer my medical files and instead just printed it all out from the portal and showed it to my new Dr. I couldn't be bothered with the hassle.

I've been seeing Dr. Do for many years now. I followed her to this location from her previous one.
Each and every time she is kind and listens to what you have to say.
I also like the fact that the diagnostics lab is in the same location. I don't have to travel elsewhere for bloodwork.
Only downfall to this office is the front desk staff and one specific nurse. Not the friendliest I've come across.

This place needs to be shut down. There is no reason at all with all the available options for care it should be normal to wait 40 minutes to an hour to be seen. To only go waiting from the front to waiting to the back an additional 30 minutes. They have an attitude at the front as if they're doing the patient a favor instead of doing what they're paid for (JOB)!I would not recommend this place. They are lackadaisical, no sense of URGENCY, unapologetic and full of it! Beware if you go, take a book and don't schedule nothing the remaining of the day!

Absolutely terrible. Showed up 15 minutes early for my MRI, but wasn't seen until over an hour after my appointment. I was told the delay was because approval was needed from my insurance even though I needed and received approval before even making the appointment. I also contacted my insurer for approval while I was waiting. It took me 5 minutes.

When my husband and I moved to Houston about a yea...

When my husband and I moved to Houston about a year ago, we looked through countless Google reviews, searching for a PCP in our area. We decided on Dr. Do after reading reviews on various websites. Our first couple of visits went fine. The front desk staff was less than decent and my nurse told me she "knew who I belonged to" (my husband had recently visited) which may or may not be a HIPAA violation, but our experience with Dr. Do was positive. She was friendly, professional, knowledgable, and never seemed in a rush during our visits.

However, after I saw Dr. Do for an annual check-up, which my insurance covers at 100% with no co-pay, I received two medical bills in the mail. I contacted Advanced Diagnostics regarding the bills and was referred to Ms. Patricia Urbano. She suggested I speak with my insurance company. My insurance company informed me that Dr. Do performed tests not covered under the annual physical exam.

Let me be clear, Dr. Do did ask my permission to perform these tests in a "Do you want these tests," nonchalant sort of manner that made me assume the tests were routine protocol and covered in the visit, not a "Do you want these tests not covered by the visit that you really don't need because you have zero risk factors," sort of way. She also asked my permission to perform many routine parts of the exam, so I kind of assumed (silly me) that she just asked permission for everything to ensure I felt comfortable and knew what to expect.

I have since been made aware by my insurance that is the responsibility of both the doctor AND the patient to know what is and is not covered during these exams. Silly me for trusting my doctor to inform me that a test is not a routine part of the exam and could cost extra!

Okay, back to the bills. Ms. Urbano initially responded to my emails and phone calls in a relatively timely and polite manner and said she was working on the issue. However, after I received a third notice and had heard nothing back from Ms. Urbano, I sent another email requesting the issue be resolved, which Ms. Urbano said she would forward to Dr. Do. In this email I mentioned that I felt what Dr. Do did was unethical and seemed like a way to make an "extra buck" (389 bucks to be exact). All of my subsequent emails and phone calls were then ignored. How professional.

After checking my credit score yesterday, I discovered the medical bills had been reported to creditors. How frustrating! Here I am, just a young student trying to build credit, and the people of Advanced Diagnostics, who will not even communicate with me, place TWO derogatory marks (two separate bills) on my credit. Shame on you Dr. Do, Ms. Urbano, and Advanced Diagnostics.

Let this be a lesson to anyone reading, should you choose to see Dr. Do and you care about your money, ask about the cost of EVERYTHING, bring insurance documents stating what is and isn't covered, and do not expect to have any financial issues that may arise be resolved via phone or email.

This Thanksgiving morning I was brought into the ER from Houston and given special care by the following: Lisa Jones, RN,
Tim Walker, RN,
Lori Adams-Dimmick, RT, and
Dr. Hussein.
I was very nervous and treated like a VIP. I was tested with rapid test (negative) and swab test for Covid. Also given a chest X-ray, IV, Blood test and help breathing for Bronchitis/ Asthma. It was efficient, professional and well done. Thank you to all!
A special thank you to Dr. Starner Jones for helping make it possible on his day off.
A clean and inviting ER--there when you need it!

I called to schedule a appointment. The lady on the phone was very rude, but I ignored it. She tried to rush everything before I even wanted to choose a date. She spoke in a very condescending manner that made me feel uncomfortable and stupid. Like I'm sorry you hate your job. Go work somewhere else. Customers should never be treated like this. If I didn't keep my patience then it would've gotten real bad. I had to keep my cool bcz I really needed to get an ultrasound to confirm a gallstone issue. I'll probably never come here after this time. I just need to see how they will treat me when I go in.

I have been to AMG twice for a phyiscal and both times I had a subpar experience with waiting time and a TERRIBLE experience with the billing. I will not ever be going back.
The first time I went, they did something where they charged me ~$100 for a physical, even though with my insurance a physical is supposed to be free. It took months of them telling me "we'll get it fixed this week" and me calling every week before finally getting it taken care of. Surely, after such an experience I would never be back...
Out of laziness, the fact that they already had my medical records, and 10 months passing (this will be important later), I reluctantly decided to get another physical there because it was close to where I live. When I arrived for my phsyical, they told me that, according to my insurance, i could only get a physical every 12 months. I told them they were mistaken and that I could get one every calendar year (I was later proven correct when talking to my insurance) and I wanted to go ahead and get the physical.
They billed it incorrectly AGAIN (0/2 now) and sent me a bill for something beside the physical. After speaking with their billing, I'm now back to having to call weekly asking them to fix this and being told they're looking into it.
Also, billing aside, my second visit I wasn't seen until an hour after my appointment (I was admittedly 2 minutes late to the appointment). Just very very poor experience all around

Their doctors are ok, but the offices are a nightmare. Totally unorganized. They'll send you to procedures you can't have, waste your time, and send you bills a year later that they should have worked out with your insurance company.

Screw this place, and I rarely write one star reviews. It's really that bad.

Horrible! Waited for hours in pain and front desk lady avoids eye contact. I walked up to her and she told me that she mentioned that there will a wait. Which I do not remember - bec of the pain!
It wouldnt take much to just assure the patient that they are not forgotten and to check what the hold up is. Empathy goes a long way specially for a patient in absolute discomfort.

We have recently started using the Dr.'s at Knight Rd as our primary care physicians. We have been very pleased with the cleanliness of the facility and all of the staff there. We've had everything from blood work to an MRI and each time we've seen a Dr. there we've been in and out in a short amount of time and everyone is extremely friendly. Very glad we've found them.

I have been going to Advanced Diagnostics since Dr Vajapayee was there. While there is not always good communication between staff and patient, and there have been mix ups on a whole I wouldn't change going there. Dr Do is my new primary care and I absolutely love her. I have a complex health history and she truly takes her time with me and refers me to specialist when necessary without issue. Dr do explains things in a way I can understand and not only knows her stuff but she is also very personable. She checks to see how I'm doing in my personal life and we actually get to chit chat a few times. I can't say enough about her, I never dread having to go to the doctor because I know she will take great care of me. When she thought I had appendicitis she made me top priority and did everything she could make me feel better. She is patient and kind and just awesome. Her nurse Shay is also pretty awesome! We have shared many laughs and she has made my day when I have felt really sick. I make an effort to get to know the staff even the front desk and say thank you no matter what. I always try and put myself in their shoes because you just never know what they are going through. I have had a tech stay late to get a test done without complaint, and they always know me by name. This place may have its flaws but if I get sick this would be my place to be to go and get the medical care I need.
