Accel Property Management, LLC Review

My family and I are renting a house for more than 4 years that is managed by Accel property Management . We are very happy here ,of course there have been things here and there that needed to be fixed but no problem with that . In the beginning Mr.Chuck would be the one coming over to fix some of the things if not he would call somebody right away. I actually miss seeing him around and talking to him, he's such a nice man! Ann has always been there for us too . But now, they have Eduardo there Maintenance Manager who I think is doing a great job and is very professional. Last thing we needed to get fixed that same day that I e-mail him he took care of it right away . I would highly recommend Accel property Management !

Rude and unprofessional, I have decided to move out because of how they treat their tenants. Your response just shows, how you conduct business, unprofessional.

I rented a house for three years that was managed by Accel Property Management. During that time I had a small handful of maintenance emergencies (busted pipes in the roof, flooding from a broken kitchen sink, AC issues, etc.) and every time Accel was quick to take care of the situation. It is a good company run by good people. I have since moved away from McAllen, but I wish Accel managed the house I currently live in.

I own property in Edinburg and it was managed by Accel as we had relocated to SA.

My opinion as a property owner who uses their property managemen services, Ann and their staff (particularly Ann) have great communication, she is always clear and if you ask questions (like myself) she takes the time to explain everything. She is straight forward and keeps you up to date (by getting repair approvals and sending monthly statements with backup paperwork every time). Never shy to answer the phone and discuss topics like repair prices and vendor estimates and for me thats top notch. New hire eduardo gave a good explanation of a AC motor situation we had. The last tenants at my property were great, and thats because of their strict tenant selection.

She always made sure to have reserve funds to take care of repairs for the tenants and pay the contractors. Which for me is fair, even tho i might gotten the short end some months, its the nature of the rental property business.

They have done a great job so far. Now we are looking to sell the property and I hope to have a smooth process as well.

I just got a new apartment and it's great. Erica Aguilar was really helpful in helping me understand all the rules, payment options and she had answers for every scenario I could think of. The rent is at a great price with being a good distance from stores and school. Thank you Accel Property Management and Erica!

My husband Ricardo and I would like to thank all the staff at Accel property Mgt for all their hard work and dedication. We recently completed our taxes and we were very pleased with the profit and loss report. It just made everything much easier and hassle free. We have not worried about anything regarding our property for the past 30 months. Once again thanks a lot.

Had a horrible experience with this business. We signed a lease and paid our first month and pet deposit fee on their website but was then unexpectedly attacked through email because we didn't pay the extra fee to expedite the funds into their account (move in date wasn't for another 8 days). We were also attacked because we chose to go with the Rhino insurance option they offered to us versus paying a $2000 cash deposit because ...well..who wouldn't choose that option instead. These emails were completely unprofessional and caused a lot of emotional damage to my family and I who went from being so excited to have a new place to call home to being unnecessarily insulted and unwelcomed. We are ultimately glad that we mutually decided to cancel our lease and that we saw this woman's true, and nasty, colors before having to experience any further nightmares with her or this company.

UPDATE: We only breached the part of the lease where we had to pay on the 24th BUT we did make the the payment on the 24th. I have the receipt screenshot. The amount of time your website payments take to process transactions is not something that should have been held against us. Your money hungry expectations wanted the funds to hit your account sooner and you, therefore, punished us. Disgusting. Even if we would've expedited them like you apparently wanted us to, it wouldn't have hit your account until the 25th anyway. We only got the go ahead to sign the lease from you that morning. Thanks for making false accusations and further inflicting negatively upon our experience with your company.

MADE my life easy being an out of state owner. I cant say enough about how well Ann & her staff communicates and runs a well oiled "machine" when it comes to property managing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND after working with her for several years.

As a first time renter, they were very helpful in answering all my questions. The move-in process was very simple too, I could not ask for a simpler experience.

This is by far the worst property management I've ever encountered. Please save yourself the trouble and rent elsewhere. Eduardo the maintenance is horrible at upkeep. They don't repair things. Instead they patch it. Getting them to do anything is very troublesome. Anne is just rude. She blames the tenants and backs up her staff. She basically called me a liar after I said that I called her maintenance guy twice for a repair. Do not rent from these people. The only professional one that works here is Chelsea. Oh and the man who owns the place I rent... Authorized repairs that have not been fixed yet! I've been living here a year and a half and my rent is never late! Craziness ... I can't wait to leave this place. If you are looking to get your house rented out... Do not trust in these people. They "accel" in poor management.

The Accel family have been great with both of us (landlord) and my tenants thank you for all you do

Our first rental home as newlyweds, we were happy to work with Accel and Ann. They have made our life easier. Our landlords also replaced our AC when it went out. They always send quality people and companies to take care of anything we need. Very thankful for these people!

I highly recommend, the apts I live at are at a prime location in McAllen and the rent is great, also management is very pleasant and kind. I highly recommend Accel Property.

As an out of state owner, I truly appreciate accel property mgmt. My previous mgmt company went from barely ok to unacceptable, but i got a tip to reach out to accel. They're a group of professional people with outstanding service. The office staff along with the maintenance staff are easy to work with, and provide you honest feedback. Moving to my second property with this company. The office staff is professional, and will help you anyway they can. A great company I'm glad I found.

Same problem as the other reviewer only worse. Took three weeks to repair the kitchen light and garbage disposal and they did not ever complete the rest of the submitted repairs. Now that we have moved out they are trying to hold our entire deposit AND say we owe another $1100. Things clearly detailed on our move in inspection form and most things falling under the normal wear and tear category. Waiting to hear back from them regarding our appeal but based on past experience it's going to be a difficult road to resolve. I definitely would not recommend renting a property under this management company.

I have worked with Ann for many years and she is very thorough when it comes to taking care of her buyers and sellers. I have also referred her a client who wished to move and rent her house instead of selling it. She has since moved and is very satisfied with Ann's service and knowledge of property management. The best attribute I like about Ann is she is very quick and professional when it comes to returning e-mails and phone calls. I would highly recommend her again.

Accel property management goes above and beyond to answer your questions and to make repairs. I had a water valve burst open outside on a weekend, and it was gushing out water gallons by the second. Eduardo had somebody go out there and fix it. It total the fix took about 45 min. Great timing and there was no change in my water bill. Highly recommended.

I waited 1 month for a response from them to let me know if the owner approved for us to resign the lease. There were notes on my account indicating that i called in with this request, however the owner had yet to be contacted as of today. I'm strongly considering going through the inconvenience of moving to another house

Renting my house while I relocated outside of the Valley seemed like a very daunting process, but Ann at Accel Property Management made my moving away for 4 years painless. She found good, reliable tenants who enjoyed my home but were also good to it.

I would, without question, recommend Ann and Accel Property Management to anyone looking to rent out their property. She's a pro.

The team you work with is great! They make the entire process of moving into the home a breeze, while residing in the rented home, they are just a phone call or email away with quick responses. I highly recommend working with them and feeling confident that you will have the upmost help with your new residence.

At first it seem super sketchy was really scared to apply, but decided to do it, and they are awesome very nice highly recommend!

After six years of living in a wonderful home in McAllen managed by Accel, I have moved to another house in Corpus Christi. Let me say that my new place could take a few pointers from Accel!! The move-in and move-out process with Accel was easy and handled professionally. This company always responded well to repair requests. Communication with the office was always important to me whether it be to report issues in the area affecting the property (i.e. the neighbor s dog breaking through the fence) or problems with the sprinkler system, Accel responded to my questions and found solutions. I will miss living in McAllen...especially this property that truly felt like my own home.

Good honest people helping others and very understanding and professional. 12/19/16- update I had no problem until now. And FYI I was bugged over and over to give them a positive review. But dealing with ANN more she isn't very professional hanging up on a client is not acceptable. I understand this is a business but how you keep people is through being real and at least pretending to help. And you mentioned not having enough business how is that my problem. But now I give y'all one star and if I could none.

I moved into a property managed by Accel and my experience has been amazing. My husband and I moved in at the peak of hurricane season so we encountered minor flooding in our apartment and our landlord was out at our property the SAME day we sent in our request for assistance. Not only did Chuck assist us with our issue at hand but he also went out of his way to fix two other things for us. No other landlord has gone above and beyond for us like that. I ve had to call the office a few times with questions and each time I was met with professionalism and they seemed like they truly wanted to help me. worst property management company I have ever worked with. Must be something in the leadership because even the people that work for them are just flat out rude and treat tenants like animals. All I asked for was a phone call on my request and Camarina with the little English she knew, sounded like she was reading off a script and just talked over me when I asked for a phone call follow up.

Ann is just the worst lady to deal with they never fix anything on the houses . Took a few months to fix the dishwasher.

Neglected company, WILL NOT service properties. excuse is "tenants have never complained before" they will do everything to try and screw you out of your deposit. BECAREFUL!

My renter moved out October 31st and due to still having a mortgage I needed to get someone moved in ASAP. I contacted Accel property mgt and they immediately got to work. Ann and Erika were super knowledgeable and professional. Within 2 days they not only had a suitable renter for me but the contract was immediately created. Six days after the house went vacant, I had a new family moving in. Ann and Erika stayed in touch with me and kept me updated during the entire experience. I highly recommend this agency and plan to use them again the next time I need their services.

Have been renting with Accel since 2013 and they have been great. Only one issue in 3 years that rubbed us the wrong way. We made a work order request and the person on the phone belittled my wife. He made an assumption that we caused the problem but it is an older house with ongoing issues. Other than that we have had a great relationship with Ann and also with Chuck (who we consider a good friend).
Bottom line- based upon my experience I would recommend this company to friends and family.
