I have been working there for 28 years and there is no incident during this time. The people are well trained, the reactors are constantly being maintained and are always state of the art. The deactivated block 1 was also state-of-the-art.

The poor nuclear power plant Philippsburg, it is a strong energy of the future. Much more profitable, safer and more powerful than the other scrap that you build for power generation. There is even a fantastic suggestion to extend the term by 10 years, extra to bring the CO2 slingers (coal) faster shutdown. But those with the enormous, dangerous half-knowledge in this regard feel something like 'daring' ',' daring '' and even with simple comments, because of 'unreasonable' 'or, all rails are already on the dismantling directed ''. What a nonsense. In terms of power generation and nuclear power Germany's top has failed massively! Farewell nuclear plant Philippsburg and thank you for your clean electricity.
Will soon be replaced by a more emission-rich oil power plant. Encouraged by green "environmentalists". If you add up to an ideology (closed world view), equate it with education, something comes out of it.
Finally switched off! And anyone who writes pro nuclear power here with such a confusion as environmental protection either has no idea or is earning money from the industry. Point.
Fortunately, the era of "peaceful" nuclear power, which only corporations earned, will have ended in the foreseeable future. It's time to take responsibility for the future and rethink.
The cooling towers have become a landmark between Mannheim and Karlsruhe. That's why I think it's a pity that these will probably be blown up in 2020! On the other hand, one is glad that the nuclear power plant is only active until December 2019 and therefore does not have to run the risk of something happening.
The biggest fuck. In my opinion, it is only a matter of time before this kkw follows in the footsteps of Fukushima and Chernobyl. Way with these power plants !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today's bike tour took me from Mother City to the nuclear power plant in Phillipsburg. So many times I have been able to see the nuclear power plant from the surrounding area without really having the idea to drive there. Today I changed that, but somehow I ended up on the wrong side. Here at the entrance I couldn't take really nice photos and as a break / rest area the whole thing could not have served well. Then I drove a little further to be able to rest a little better. At some point I have to come over again and somehow be able to get out down the Rhine. I didn't have the time for that today. Then the evaluation could also be better. Now she ends up with three out of five stars (Edit) After reading that the towers should disappear towards the weekend, I drove past the Palatinate side again and took a few photos from a distance
Everyone always talks so well about wind power You should know that wind power is not possible in the plane! Although plants are being built, the electricity generated hereby is not sufficient at the front and rear! Wind turbines do not pay off with us! Hydropower is not really possible with us and coal is very polluting Where should we take the energy, please? I do not want a "power highway" on my doorstep!
Very reliable and safe power generation. Too bad that Germany says goodbye to pure nuclear populism. But that's not terrible, as our neighbors continue to rely on NPPs and are also being rebuilt worldwide.
Nice view from the GKM. a shame that it does too. dear fellow human beings. Nuclear power plants are by far the best invention in terms of energy generation! 1 kg of hard coal produces just 8KW !! 1kg uranium 24,000,000 KW The coal-fired power plants thus generate much more air pollution than a nuclear power plant In addition, we do not have any significant natural disasters in Germany. Nuclear power plants are also extremely stable! It's a shame that so many people talk about it so badly.
Living right next to the power plant and am happy every morning when I wake up and see the clouds rising from the cooling tower. Just a beautiful plant, really a pity that should soon be over.
Nice staff, great power plant. To the experts here: what do you appreciate: how many cancer cases, the sick or the dead has caused the 60-year-old operation of German nuclear power plants so far?
So I've never been there, but every time I go for a walk I see the wonderful cloud that rises into the sky. Every time she puts a smile on my face. I will even suggest to my class that I take a trip there.
Very interesting facility. After there were still sandwiches after the tour, at some point it was just dry pretzels and today there is nothing left. Earlier, visitors were even supposed to be in the canteen. Probably represents the prospects of the industry. It would have been better to shut down the lignite first and then the NPPs.
Friendly employees who shine from within! Cooling towers are great, but a couple of hip graffiti would add to a nice outward feel. Sightseeing is really great, the fuel rods are not that hot and a selfie was also in it. That's why there are only 4/5 stars!
Very reliable energy producer for our large population. There have been no incidents in the entire lifetime of the NPP, everything is set up safely and is checked and monitored 24/7 all year round. Mega cool technology. It is very unfortunate that our government sees it differently.
