It is already 2 years ago. Was a very nice hotel. Breakfast buffet was very good and reasonably central location was also good. Near subway station.

Friendly staff and reasonable prices in the bar. They made a mess of our reservation but solved in the end. Entrance and bar have recently been refurbished, the rooms however are still to be done at time of writing. Would recommend for travel, train station is very close as well as the oldest konditorei with great cakes!

FOR 1 week in July 2019 we are booked into a beautiful, spacious room and once again enjoy this great hotel on the Spree. Breakfast can be taken until 11 a.m., which eases the congestion at peak times. The breakfast buffet is extensive and varied, suitable for allergy sufferers.
The on-site staff is very friendly and helpful. The free lemon water is available for self-service guests in the reception area. Service The stay in the air-conditioned lounge is very pleasant with outside temperatures of 38 degrees.

The Abion-Spreebogen is by no means a superior hotel. Only the breakfast deserves this name.
We had booked a maisonette suite, this is in the dark basement, a rickety staircase then leads up to the ground floor to the further "sleeping possibility". However, I would not offer this sofa bed to anyone. Metallic cross struts at thigh height between the slatted frame make it impossible to lie in a halfway bearable position. Sofa beds don't have to be so uncomfortable for decades!
The bathroom is completely worn out, wooden boards swollen, molds moldy and cheaply whitewashed with paint.

Large areas of carpets dirty, as well as cupboards and objects.

Complaints about this were shrugged off with the words that all maisonette suites were like that.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone in this condition except for having breakfast.

Modern, central location and great views of the river Spree

Great hotel! Nice rooms, very good location, friendly service and great breakfast. We were completely satisfied.

Conveniently located with respect to the center and in a context of other very modern buildings. It overlooks the river bank and near the castle / residence of the President of the Federal Republic. easy to reach with the S-bahn as it is a few hundred meters from the Bellevue stop. The hotel, very nice inside, has a very high quality / price ratio (paid personally for one night, two people, 60 ). I was expecting some little extras being a 4-star hotel (fridge, courtesy slippers, bathroom set, manual air conditioning ...) but they were absent. Overall, however, a perfect structure for the living room. I highly recommend!

Great hotel, we felt very comfortable, would love to come back. Around the corner there is a connection to the S-BAHN and the pier for a spree trip right in front of the hotel.

Except for the soft mattresses, everything was okay. Various restaurants nearby, easy to reach. S-Bahn Bellevue near the hotel. We got along well without a car!

Very good hotel warm modern great decor. Breakfast here is a little on the pricey side so only have it if your very hungry. The variety of foods on offer will suit most people. Staff are helpful and friendly and most speak English. Would highly recommend here for a weekend break. Close to a train station so getting around was a breeze.

The best breakfasts I've (probably ever) had at a hotel. The facility is located in the zone where parking on the street is free of charge. Near kaufland (10 min walk through the park). That the river itself is visible in the pictures, the center is really close.

Large room, small but fully adequate bathroom, great view of the Spree. Breakfast buffet very large and varied. Relatively good WLAN (free) between 3 and 7 Mbit / s download and up to 12 Mbit upload rate. Reception is friendly and very helpful.

Good location in a green area with a view of Spree. At 30 minutes walking distance from the city center and 5 minutes from the metro.

This was my third time at the Hotel Abion Spreebogen Berlin. Again, this was a very good decision. We (family, three generations) like to book the Waterside room overlooking the river Spree and other goodies such as espresso machine and tea making facilities in the room, daily newspaper ... We always book on the hotel website. There was an unpleasant surprise, as all beds were French beds and no single mattresses. That should have been stated, but this possibility did not exist on the website. And we always had single mattresses until this time. But after a sleepless night, we moved into another waterside room, and the problem was solved. Against the cold in my parents room (in July) a radiator helped. They really tried hard for our well-being. The breakfast is a wonderful way to start the day every morning. There is nothing missing and the presentation of the food is very appetizing, even at 10.00 clock.

Food was good, service friendly and attentive. Very nice view of the Spree. Parking / garage extremely bad signposted, for free if you eat there.

Attractive hotel with sauna and gym at a good price. Spacious and tidy room. Bottle of water in room upon arrival. You can grab fruit water and fruit in the lobby. Information about places of interest present. Parking garage for a fee. Room with water view, spacious balcony. We are coming back.

Great hotel in Berlin. I stayed here for a business convention and found myself. Great clean bathroom rooms great breakfast especially with bretzel bread, sweet and savory variety. Furthermore, what I find fundamental in a hotel of this category is the possibility of making freshly squeezed orange juices. Great really.

We stayed for 3 nights in the hotel, which is right on the Spree. Spree tours start right across the street from Holsteiner Ufer. Underground and S-Bahn (Bellevue) are within a few minutes walk. The rooms (standard) are a good size and well equipped. Unfortunately we only had a bath and no shower in the relatively small bathroom. The breakfast buffet is terrific! The staff was always friendly. We felt very comfortable.

I often work in Berlin and always come back to the Abion. The location is fantastic, just one stop from Central Station, staff helpful and friendly, and breakfast superb. Small suggestion: fill the minibar in the standard rooms.

Service and breakfast very good. Perfect location on the Spree. Nice environment. The room was clean, but would need to be renovated. Carpet heavily stained and out of date.

A wonderful experience. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The views of the spree are wonderful. It was a great weekend get away. I would definitely return.

Breakfast was good and staff nice. Underground parking is available. What does not work is the cleanliness. Several strange hair in the room, which had disappeared only after the second hint. Supplement November 2018: In the room there was again a small lack of cleanliness. The front desk is but very professional. Staff was super friendly and breakfast was great. Room otherwise very good. Rating changed one star up.

The meeting rooms are well equipped with modern facilities and the catering serves tasty snacks during the breaks.

Close the train station. The accommodations inside the rooms, bathrooms specially could improve. They do have an excellent restaurant.

Very good value for money hotel, not the best location if you're a tourist, but if you're in Berlin for work around that area, it's a very solid choice. Very friendly and helpful staff, simple but clean and good rooms, only negative there would be that in my opinion, the mattresses are a bit too soft.

The room was fine, just ordinary clean hotel room, but receptionists were unfriendly and the housekeeper broke into my room even I had hung the 'Please do not interrupt'sign on the door.The housekeeper was a man and I was sleeping half naked. I asked who he was but he didn't answer and just ran away. I was terrified but they were not sorry about what happended on the phone. So I talked to them face to face and the receptionist treated me as a tiresome guest and offered me a 'a glass of champagne voucher' as a compensation.

Nice hotel on Spreebogen in Berlin. Very friendly staff at the front desk and in the bar. Room maisonette a bit older but clean. Had given 4 stars. But for the first time ever, I've seen that in a hotel where there's a note in the bathroom that the laundry is changed only when it's lying on the floor and then, in fact, it's not exchanged. In my view, exemplary maid service! Good for the environment!

Special location on Spreebogen. The lobby is exceptionally inviting and cozy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating with the individual room selection. Building complex with special historical background. S station can be reached in three minutes.

Good hotel, clean. All important places in Berlin you can perfectly visit by bike + -20 min. Cycling. Berlin is also very bicycle friendly.

Very nice and modern hotel !! Quiet and with beautifull view to river Spree - staff very proffesionel and helpfull. Not central to any attraction, but enjoy the walk along Spree to the center of the city or spend the 8 euro on taxi - perfect for a romantic weekend. :-)

We have been here 3 times and were very satisfied. Perfectly organized, the selection at the breakfast buffet is plentiful and leaves nothing to be desired.

The reservation went really well, a great table with a fantastic view.
But all in all a very great restaurant and great food.

Unfortunately it has worsened.
Since our last stay in 2015, the smoking lounge has been abolished for incomprehensible reasons. We enjoyed drinking a cocktail or two there in the evening. The friendliness of the staff has also declined a bit - you cannot generalize, as there were some very dedicated employees.
Breakfast should not be booked, for the price the offer is rather poor.
The next time we stay in Berlin we will choose another hotel.

A modern, well rounded hotel, superbly located hotel right on the river Spree, next to Germany s Interior Ministry. The hotel looks better on the inside than on the outside. I was lucky to have sixth floor room in the quiet west wing, directly overlooking the river Spree and Old Moabit.

Reception staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, I wasn t as impressed with the waiters at breakfast.

The hotel, which is about a mile from Berlin s main railway station and parliament, provides hire bikes and bike parking stands right at the main entrance, plus many more covered bike parking stands between the two wings of the building, right by the kitchen door, which receptionist considered a safe place.

The hotel staff provided me with instructions to connect to their free wifi, even before asking. The wifi connection was reliable and fast.

Reserving through HRS I paid 98 (all major cards accepted) for a one night weekend rate including breakfast.

Such a great hotel. The lobby already makes you feel at home with the different sections of a small living room. And all the books really gives it a cosy feel. The staff is very nice. The rooms are neat, clean and modern. For breakfast I had the best scrambled eggs. Very tasty!! Location of the hotel is also favorable. Close to public transport and if you have small kids there is a small playground 1 minute walk from the hotel.

I was here for an event. The service was fast, attentive and friendly. The premises were great. The food was not only visually appealing, but also good in taste. Even as a vegetarian was enough choice available. Especially the iced cucumber-mint-soup was very delicious.

Very nice hotel. Had room with Spreeblick. Absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was great too. Everything available. Only the juicer by hand, I found a bit sticky. Would be considering buying an electronic one. Lovely wishes.
