I was actually selling a house in Alabama and was not at all satisfied with the performance of my real estate agent there. I was about to take my house off the market when I ran into Nikki Love with 1st Class and she literally saved the deal. She looked at the offer, told me what was not right with it and made recommendations that were in my best interest. That deal did not go through; however with Nikki's assistance there was a new offer within one day and the house closed in three days. Three days. Nikki is outstanding. She has the heart to totally focus on her client's needs and she has the head and the experience to make sure her clients are served with excellence.

I usually dont write reviews, however I would not wish my experiences with this agency on my worst nightmare. This is the absolute WORST real estate agency I've ever been associate with. My husband and I were referred to this horrible place from his Naval command due to our relocation to the area. We thought they were heaven sent in the beginning, due to the property we found through Barbara Sgueglia and the military relocation assistance team. Everything was fine until we paid our security deposit and 1st months rent, after that she no longer picked up the phone, and when she did, she was EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL when addressing the issues within the home. She has personally called me out of my name and stated that she did not have time to address my concerns [AC unit went out in the MIDDLE OF SUMMER, never disclosed that there were 2 heating systems in the home, one of which runs continuously & more] due to her extensive list of other properties managed. I attempted to speak with the owner of the firm, and was completely brushed off and continuously treated as if my needs/concerns were not important. This happened 1 year ago, and now I am STILL dealing with a faulty HVAC unit with a $2,000 electricity bill due to her negligence, despite our repeated attempts to rectify the issue amicably. She terminated our lease without informing us and now refuses to provide me with a copy of the supporting documents requested. She has since directed all problems to the owners who do not have access to the documents needed for my records. I can go on and on about the problems with Barbara including her lack of professionalism, addressing issues in a timely manner, as well as her refusal to communicate once you give her your money, however to sum it all up: just AVOID her at all cost.

P.S. I HAVE NEVER MET THIS WOMAN FACE TO FACE, AS SHE REFUSES TO MEET WITH ME PERSONALLY OR EVEN COMMUNICATE ON THE PHONE, our only communication is via email and her office is less than 20mins away from me. She has sent "friends" of hers to the house in place of her and they aren't even knowledgeable of our home and the issues within to answer questions. My advice is to RUN RUN RUN FARR AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY. They do not care for the military and their family and my experiences with her and this agency as a whole has proven this time and time again.

**UPDATE** the owner [Rhyan Finch) called me to remove my post and to tell me "you don't know what the hell you're talking about," just proves my point regarding the lack of professionalism and ethics within this agency. RUN RUN RUN, I promise I'm saving you all the headache.

Rhyan you are full of it and you know it. The issue you are speaking of is a COMPLETELY Different issue than what we're dealing with. AND those dates are all wrong, try 2014. The issues we've been dealing with since march 2015. Thank God for technology and that YOU made me put everything in writing. This goes to prove Another issue, you were never involved and when you were it was not a priority to you until I sent the certified letter to take you to court. The letter was dated for October 5, and sent then also. of a sudden you cancelled the contract with owner. If you would like to post and compare emails & receipts on your google review we can do so if you'd like. Especially the fraudulent walk through paperwork you sent afterwards, or the emails where Barbara called me out of my name and refused to do her job due to her personal issues with my family... please stop while you're ahead. Best of wishes to you also, we'll be seeing each other soon.

My husband and I finally decided to buy a house this month and requested the services of Mike Hoover. We highly recommend him!!! From his knowledge of the area, his superb social skills, to the countless questions he answered for us, he worked his magic! We were a little bit picky, as any new home owners would be, and he was there to guide us and pick out a list of great properties to choose from. When I started looking for my home on Zillow, I was constantly frustrated by the experience of getting a list of 10-12 properties, mapping them out and visiting the neighborhoods to narrow it down to 2-3 choices, only to forward it to my Agent Brian Fockler so he could tell me they were under contract, wasting my Saturday. I wish back then I knew to just let him do the work and just give me the list of available properties. We not only bought our house from 1st Class in the area we wanted at the price we wanted, but I was so wow'd by their attention to detail from start to finish....I decided to apply to their team and started working at 1st Class Real Estate!

I had the best realtor ever, he wasn't selling me a home, he was helping my find my future. Charles Lewis is the best agent. He didn't use any high pressure sales. He walks you through this process and tells you what you need to hear. I found my dream home and he made the process as stress free and easy as possible. And when it came down to the really important stuff like the paperwork he was diligent, efficient, and he was always in constant communication. Every conversation I have about my new house to friends and family, I recommend Charles Lewis.

In 2011, we needed a realtor. Dave Greig is the most dedicated professional in the real estate business we have ever encountered. We had owned other homes so we were grateful that his listening skills prevented wasted time on properties that did not fit our needs. I've only delt with their website and it's a mess! 1st class has their signs on properties that I am interested in, in my neighborhood. I have checked their website several times over the past few weeks and can find no listings for these properties. The website only directs you to a small amount of listings and wants you to create an account. I'm not giving my information just to do some window shopping and start the never ending string of calls and emails.

In late 2016, my wife and I decided to purchase a rental property. This was a scary process for us because we had not a clue on what we were doing. After a long search to find the right agent, we found Melody Cespedes. Mel as we like to call her, was the right choice for us because she is genuine, honest, straight forward, own rental property, very knowledgeable, patient, and has the heart of a teacher. Above all, Mel became our family s real estate mentor. Mel took the time to listen to our family s needs and future goals. Then customized a deal for us to purchase two rental properties. This deal advanced our family s goals by two years. We received cash at closing and been cash flowing ever since. I will definitely use Mel in future real estate transactions and would recommend her to family, friends, and fellow investors.

Laura Nguyen is a fantastic realtor. We were so intimidated by the idea of home owning in general but we also had the difficult additional step of looking for houses remotely. Skylar Barfield and 1st Class Real Estate at Great Neck was my first and only option as our agent. Sure helped us find our first home as a new buyer. I only worked with them briefly, I must admit that I went through about 2 Realitor s prior to getting to 1st Class Reality. I worked with Aylin Nardiran and although she did a great job showing properties she communicated with me only through Facebook even after exchanging emails and phone numbers which I think is unprofessional, she was also very rude and disrespectful once I decided to end my home search, with no concern for my reasons. In fact she blocked me before I could explain to her the reason (had to go out of town to take care of my father). This is why I m never comfortable signing any agreements until I decide to make an offer on a property. You have to be sure that your Realitor is looking out for you and not themselves. Our last message thread gave me the impression that she was only in it for herself and not to genuinely help.

Jenn was our THIRD and final realtor we spoke with. We had to let the first 2 go, as we were never on the same page. We are living in guam and wanted to have our next house purchased before we arrived. Jenn was the first realtor we spoke with who took us seriously. The time difference is NOT easy, but she woke up early to speak to us, had all showings in the mornings so we could be on video chat with her, and was ALWAYS on top of new listings! Through FaceTime and lots of late nights/early mornings, she made buying our first house as easy as possible! I don t know what we would have done without her! had to deal with one of company realtors, Bill Cairns,. He sold me a couple on Samsung phones, when I found out they were fake I called him to take them back, his response was basically screw you. I wouldn't recommend to deal with this company, because they employ people with no ethics.

Stay Away!

If I could sum up my dealings with Troy Brimmer (Branch Manager) and Andrea Holland (realtor) in one word, it would be "Incompetent".

I listed my home with Andrea, and had three open houses. Two of these, Ms. Holland was over an hour late to, and one she no-showed. Her initial listing description of my property was an absolute travesty. All caps, poor grammar and punctuation, and the description would have been enough to convince me to not even look at the house if I was a buyer. The pictures of the house were adequate.

I was about to fire her, when I received an offer. This offer suffered through multiple delays in closings (6 or 7) and she failed to communicate to me the status throughout the sale. Every closing date I had to call, text, and email, to see if the house was closing. Buyers were never preapproved, and had things they wanted fixed; this list was very vague, and she was unable to get any clarifications to my questions. I paid a contractor multiple times to fix issues, often times with the description "buyer wants something done with a fan, or chipped paint, or roof, but I don't know what because my realtor is incompetent, so use your best judgement because I'm supposed to be closing on this house by the end of the week". At one point Andrea just sent me some pictures of things around the house with no description, nor was she able to answer questions. She misled me regarding the closing contract (buyer wanted twelve specific concessions, to which Andrea told me I only had to do two...this was incorrect and I'm fairly certain is in violation of the Realtor Code of Conduct. I will be looking into this with the DPOR) which I attribute to her incompetence. After repeatedly sending emails and texts asking for status and updates, she began to copy and paste the same reply of "I'll let you know about next closing date. Waiting on buyers".

After this incident, I called the branch manager to request a new realtor complete the sale of the house (3-4 closing dates had already elapsed at this point) and Troy Brimmer took over. Sadly, many of the same problems existed. No updates when there was any change, I had to call/text/email to find out what is going on. I even waited for two days AFTER a closing date to contact Troy to even see if he would relay to me that my house didn't close. I began contacting the Loan and Escrow processor to find out what the hell was going on.
Several more closing delays, and I terminated my dealings with 1st Class Realty. The last closing day, after the buyers were approved and clear to close, they walked away, at the end of November.

At the time of this review, I am still without the Earnest money deposit (7 weeks since buyers walked away). It took 1st Class Realty 20 days to send me a correct EMD release form (first time had incorrect amount and incorrect recipient; and after replying with the correct information, was sent the SAME WRONG information the next day!) Two days later, finally received and filled out the correct form.

I moved on to Greg Garrett Realty and it is a world of difference. I am truly disappointed in the service I received at 1st Class Realty.

Awesome experience! Would definitely use this team again. My realtor was Laura and she is amazing! She told my husband and I a few things that helps us get our house an offer within a week. She was extremely helpful especially after my previous encounter with another realty group that was horrible. I strongly recommend this Team and Laura to anyone looking to sell a home hassle free.

My wife and I just move to the Hampton Raods area in late August from Ocean Springs, MS. That's right Mississippi. When we got to the area, we were set close on our new home in the Suffolk, VA area. I'm sure your asking yourself, how in the world did they move from Mississippi to Hampton Roads and be set to close on their new home so fast. Well folks, there is only one way that happens..... You have an AMAZING realtor. Raymond and Shannon went to 3 or 4 different homes in the Suffolk and Chesapeake area for us. Thy took video of the home and sent it to us. Talked to us on the phone during the home visit while we looked at the listings pictures and answered any questions or concerns we had about the home. They listened to what our desires were and hit our MUST HAVES dead on! Couple this with all the home visits being done AFTER Raymond had just worked a 12 hour night shift at the Norfolk Jail. As a result of this type of commitment by Raymond and Shannon, we were confident enough in our information to make an offer and purchase our home without ever setting foot in it before the contract was ratified. This type of service is unheard of these days buy realtors and the retail market in general. If you want the personal service you expect from a Realtor, go to Raymond Vannostrand. He and Shannon will not steer you wrong!

Subpar performance on the agents and a mediocre company. This is not the place to rent or buy from. communication between the owner, property manager, the "tenet relation" personnel, and the tenet is absolutely horrible. There are better agents and better companies in the area! My family and I were renting with 1st class and when we moved in, the house was not up to standard at all. It was so bad that we could not stay there, due to the repairs being done while my lease had already started. That year followed with several issues. The house I rented had a rodent problem that they refused to acknowledge for several months. The issues was ultimately fixed but not with out a loss of faith in these agents and the owner of the house. Im sure there are still issues with the house that were brought up on my part that they have refused to acknowledge. The owner would also stop by unannounced, this happened on 3 separate occasions. Upon move out, the move out inspection was conducted almost 30 days prior to end of lease. All the issues were fixed on my part. then about 2 weeks after my lease ended I was contacted saying I had to fix more things on the house before my security deposit was released. If further repairs needed to occur they should have been documented on the move out inspection.

My fiance and were looking for a home and had contacted Brian Fockler as our agent. Brian went above and beyond for us.
