Enjoy the tour of NPR headquarters. You get lots of history of Public Radio and see the very floor where it is all happening live. The sound studio was my favorite and I took some photos to share. I think you need about an hour to do the full tour and it is pretty hands on.

Whenever I'm feeling down I'll tune into NPR and close my eyes and simply mellow out to the soft music by different artists and to those that came up with this inspiring way to allow people to express themselves thru the culture of music is absolutely beautiful and empowering.

For NPR fans, make sure to reserve a 60-minute tour (only on Tuesdays starting at 11am) to get a behind-the-scene look at her o...

I love NPR, but I got to put you on blast! Now that is out of the way...we booked a tour last week and were super excited to possibly see a "Tiny Desk" concert. We arrived at NPR about 30 minutes before the tour to ensure that parking was not an issue. By the way, download the parking app for DC,...

I appreciate the news services all through the week. However, the network is becoming increasingly liberal in recent years; for example, the Weekend Edition Sunday has recently become little more than a two hour review of recent U.S. politics, very little of other stuff like sports, movies, etc.

There are two sides to NPR and they both are great. The first side is for tourists. Unlike other media companies, NPR allows you to walk right in. There's a public lobby that visually tells the history of NPR and current stats. At the end of the lobby is a large gift shop with NPR everything from ha...

I was thrilled to find out their new location was a short walk from my hotel! I couldn't stay for the tour because I was on my way to a conference but I wanted to take a quick peek.

Just a tip, I was told one could sign up for the tour online only and not on the day of the tour. My apologies if t...
