There are two sides to NPR and they both are great...

There are two sides to NPR and they both are great. The first side is for tourists. Unlike other media companies, NPR allows you to walk right in. There's a public lobby that visually tells the history of NPR and current stats. At the end of the lobby is a large gift shop with NPR everything from hats to baby onesies. They also give daily tours each morning to tourists.

Then there's the actual office space. My friend who works there gave me a tour and it's a beautiful building with killer views of the US Capitol Building. There newsroom is two floors and looks similar to how The Washington Post sets up their newsroom minus the many studios for them to record their shows.
