Is it fair to rate a place I work, well I think so. This is the training center and Op Center for local drivers. People at the company treat me like family. I have heard not so great comments but you get what you give. Safety is first and being on time second.

Never ever think that Schneider National will ever be a good place for employment. They will use you us and toss you to the side when you reach your limit and do not want to he gone for months on end. They lost their Amazon account, they lost their dedicated Walmart accounts on the east coast.

I love this company. You figured you'd be just a number with as big as they are but when I tell my del my name she knows who I am. That's not just a number. This company is filled with opportunity for advancement. Not just an ordinary trucking company. I applied to 52 companies 51 turned me down due to some background issues. I didn't have a pot to Piss in. Stayed where I could. I was a bum to all my friends. Schneider gave me a shot and I ran with it. I told the business manager he wouldn't regret it. 4 months later he said he's glad he gave me a chance. Here I am 8 months later about ready to lease me a truck through schneider and get my own business going. Thank you Schneider national. You don't know how much you've changed my life. Thank you thank you.

Schneider continues to target the bottom of the barrel freight, equipment, and people. The majority of the trailers are still spring ride and used tankers. Their business owner boards are filled with $1.50 freight when average dry freight nationwide is a dollar more. It is unfortunate that Schneider continues to pray on the vulnerable in what is otherwise a great town and state.

I started off trucking by going to their training facility years ago. Though in the end they said I was a good driver that if someone hired me they would hire me. They didn't have the confidence in someone who was very new to their industry. I didn't have the confidence to speak up and I just left. Paid around 4k and ended up at Prime where they did have the confidence. The rest is history. Just wanted to share that. Kudos to those who have found success through this company but just be warned because that's a steep learning curve financially for no gain

F Schneider National works with there drivers. They want to retain there drivers. There pay scale in out of this world. There home time is above all the other trucking companies in the OTR division. They have work for every life style you can imagine. So fill out an application you will not be disappointed.

Disappointing place for their franchise's HQ. No showers & no laundry. And the two people that work there, that I interacted with were a-holes. The first guy I ask about no showers surprisingly responded with what I thought was a joke. Nope! He was serious. Genuine a-hole

Left this company and came back because they will let a driver come in for repairs and believe in letting the driver make the call for safety. Driving Family Dollar account out of Iowa. Great working with Brenda and Allen.

My car was hit by a Schneider driver and I have received nothing but the run around trying to get assistance with a claim and my vehicle. The driver admitted to fault, he received a ticket for the incident yet every time I call I get passed around and sent to voice mails. I have never heard of an insurance carrier that behaves this way. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and writing a letter to their corporate office about these questionable practices. Stay out the way of Schneider drivers or you will be forever on hold trying to receive disposition from their rude reps.
