3 stars because the Lobster risotto was delicious as well as the short rib and we had great service from Les. However some of the items on the menu are not at all worth the price for what they give you. My sister order the lobster roll and it was literally smaller than a hotdog roll and they charge you $25 for that. I got the blue burger, wasn t bad but there was definitely something missing from it. Just mediocre at best. I would definitely come back here for happy hour, their appetizers were a lot better than the entrees were. The ice cream they gave for a birthday at our table was a very nice gesture, though the ice cream had absolutely no flavor at all. Just tasted like frozen coffee creamer. There are definitely some good food choices here, however most of the stuff our table got was not worth the what they were charging.

On August 21, our Ladies were twelve for lunch at 12:00 P.M. I arrived later after everyone had placed their orders. I ordered a salad. When the food arrived, I was the only one who had a salad. Everyone else had sandwiches. I asked the waitress for some bread and was told they do not serve bread at lunch. Eleven ladies had bread with their sandwiches and I was told they don't serve bread at lunch. I then asked Victor and he told me their bread is not delivered until 3:00. Where did the bread for the sandwiches come from? It was sad.

Yesterday was my first time in visiting Blue Bell Inn Restaurant. I made a reservation and invited my friends for a special occasion but unfortunately, Blue Bell Inn disappointed in many ways....
I was ushered a table right next its entry area, so I had to ask a better location. The 2nd option wasn't good either but I took it to avoid ruining my evening. During the dinner, there was no professional services which made me surprise and uncomfortable during my entire evening there;1) all of foods came without the proper order nor right temperature; 2) Wagu steak was cooked more than I asked (medium well done but overcooked); 3) food tastes were just OK which another disappointment; 4) replacing forks and knives after courses changed were forgotten, so we had to ask them to eat our food; 5) bread basket was not served until I asked after waiting for a while even we didn't get bread which we asked for some refill 6) no refill service from champagne bottle...no one checked our champagne glasses for the refill, so we did for ourselves which was disappointed.
Overall......huge disappointment because all of the staffs; who provided services and meals to me and my friends, didn't do their basic jobs properly.

It was a price tie between the bibb salad and our cocktails both were about $12. My wife's bibb salad was significantly smaller than mine. So 50 bucks for dinner, 10 bucks for the tip for our server, who was uninvested in our dining experience.

Been coming here for about ten years. Switched allegiance after the change in ownership. Usually too crowded but have been coming on Sunday evenings. Place is deserted then. However, that doesn't bode well. It's competitor, just across the street Panache, is always packed. I enjoy the bar at BBI and outside seating, weather permitting, is great. Wait staff is generally friendly. Have not been overly impressed with the food. Great place for just chillin and libation if it's not crowded. But don't get me wrong. The venue is impressive. One to be experienced.

Great little music trio on first Fridays. Amazing guitarist. I did not try the food. The drinks were good and the atmosphere was better than I expected. A 40s to 50s crowd at the bar. People with a little extra discretionary spending seem to like it here. This place from the outside was not at all what I was expecting. Go check it out especially on a First Friday.

From an insiders perspective I have to say that this place was my least favorite. The service isn't great and it's not because of the servers really, management doesn't really treat employees very well , especially the owner. It's also the least sanitary place I've been at in the back end. Also I wouldn't eat the oysters.

Very nice historic building that is 3 times as large on the inside as it looks on the outside. Plenty of free parking. Very upscale. The food was excellent as was the service. Good menu selections. Nice beer and wine selection as well. $$$$

Complete waist of time. Sat in an area looking at the garage doors which would open to expose the outside. But they're still garbage doors. Positions were real small there was nothing to take home. The food was nothing to write home about. Cost a fortune. Dinner for two people... with tip... 207.00$ Never again!

I was there for medium size work function. The wait staff was friendly and efficient. The food was fabulous, I had salmon with potatoes that melted in my mouth. The desert had me nearly asking for seconds.

I've been here for lunches, happy hours, and dinners. This is an upscale restaurant with a beautiful interior. There are several styles of seating inside, from upstairs banquet areas, to private rooms, to bar areas and outdoor seating. Be sure to get an area that you prefer as it will affect your dining experience.
The food itself is often (not always) quite good. I'm fond of their salads, but their other appetizers are general not worth the price tags. Of particular contempt are the Cheesesteak dumplings which are greasy, lack a seasoned meaty flavor, and come pretentiously with "dots" of sauce on the plate.
Dinner is top notch, but you pay for it. The quality of food is excellent and the quantity is just right. Ask the manager for recommended wine pairings if such is your thing. The servers may or may not know the wines but the manager does and can be very informative.
Drinks are standard fare, but well done; nothing is bottom shelf!

Lunch was absolutely fantastic! I got the chicken panini - packed with flavor and the fries were fantastic! My aunt got the tuna sandwich- huge portion and perfectly seared! My kiddos loved the chicken fingers - well seasoned and made in house!!

Came here on many good recommendations and have always passed by. Decided to make a special occasion my first time here. Left with mixed feelings about the experience. To start they only had parking left for the valet when I arrived. Although valet is nice I personally don t enjoying giving strangers my car keys, but not much of a choice. Next came the wait, I had a reservation and arrived 10 minutes early. They instructed me and girlfriend to the bar and said they would get us when our table was ready. I proceeded to wait the next 30 minutes at the bar watching guest walk in one by one and get seated instantly. Not until I went up and asked if my table was ready did I get seated 25 minutes after my reservation. The food is really the only main reason I stick with a 3 star rating as it was very tasty. Unfortunately due to slow service and $120 price for 2 people I can t see myself returning.

This was my first visit to the Blue Bell Inn. I love the atmosphere inside and especially outside. We had a fabulous brunch with bottomless mimosas and bloody mary's with the sounds of a waterfall in the background, Beautiful landscaping and lively music. If this was closer to my home, it would definitely be one of my go to spots for outdoor dining!

We have our annual work party here every year and we come in for lunch and dinner with clients throughout the year as well. The staff is friendly and professional. The food is fantastic! They really know how to give people a 5 star experience. Alicia who handles our large group parties is Aces! I would highly recommend the Blue Bell Inn for many different kinds of occasions.

Very Disappointing. I know they were busy busy for the holiday season. We sat at bar. Felt like you had to lasso a bartender to get a drink as they walked past us multiple times. After getting a drink had to do the same thing to order food. They food was very sub par and I would say not even close average. The building is beautiful and they entry staff were very kind. They asked how the food was and we told them and they did nothing just took it away. We looked at each other and just said they just lost a return customer as well we were scoping the place out for next years Holiday Party for our Company ( 50 People ) . They came off the list. I expected so much more and now I would not go back.

A little pricey but otherwise excellent. The interior is huge and very comfortable. The food was delicious and service was excellent. I should have come here sooner, I'll definitely be back.

We came for Valentine's night dinner and it was very busy. The complimentary valet was much appreciated.
Food was very good, we had the wagyu flank steak, filet mignon lobster bisque, bread pudding and the chocolate mousse. The atmosphere was casual and rustic. Bar was nice and also had a lounge area and live music.
We got seated in the upstairs area for a more romantic and intimate setting. When we were seated the table was only set with napkins and a butter knife, forks eventually came. I recieved my lobster bisque, with no spoon. I asked the food runner for a spoon he acknowledged, and never returned. I had to wait 5 minutes for another waitress to flag down to finally be able to eat my soup.

I was a bit disappointed with my dining experience this time. The filet mignon I ordered medium came out rare..(almost raw). Our waitress could see very clearly that the kitchen had failed miserably. She was quick to try to get it resolved as quickly as possible. I had to wait while the rest of my dinner party ate their dinners. The result was a higher heat quickly cooked steak that was tough. As a result my dining experience was horrible.

Love it here. We've been here many times over the years, this being the first since covid. We ate outside, the tables where separated per cdc guidelines and the setting is very warm, tastefully done.

They have a really nice raw bar, at least before covid, now they can't do the raw bar but they can serve items from the bar to tables. They did have oysters and being the oyster lovers, two of us ate a couple of dozen. Each dozen were split between east and west coast oysters, simply delicious.

As mentioned I've been here many times over the past 15 years and, without fail, the bread is amazing!!

Since the total redesign done a couple of years ago, we've never had anything that was not delicious.

Our server was Brad, he was simply awesome! He's insanely efficient and friendly, a total pro.

I was taken here for lunch. The people who suggested we go there obviously hadn't been there before. We all had different sandwiches for lunch. Again.the portions were very small . Comically small. The prices were very high. Wait staff was ok...I just don't see how this place stays in business. Those of us who know don't go here....

Great dining experience; attentive wait staff and high quality food. The lobster roll was fantastic; not heavy on the sauce, which highlighted the lobster well. Also had the sweet potato lobster bisque which was a nice play on the traditional dish, but a big thick for my liking.

Beautiful historic building and nicely decorated for the holidays.

Excellent service. Excellent food. Beautifully renovated while retaining historical significance. I enjoyed the professionalism of the staff. Personally, I would've preferred the hostesses to be dressed more formal and less night club but it didn't take away from the dining experience. I can't speak for the valet nor the bar.
