They are thieves, we hired the lunch service by phone and then in the summary of the card in addition to the service for two they charged us $ 3,500.00 by mistake. We made the claims and they were left to reintegrate us and never did. by thieves like these we are badly seen in the rest of the world. if this happens in the outside, in addition to apologizing and reintegrate the money they tell you to go again to eat gently minimum, these people do not even return what they stole. the communication of everything I have by mail with a miss. by name Luna

The landscape of the winery is really very beautiful. But what helps most is nature. The views are direct to the mountain. We did guided tour and then lunch with tasting. I did not like the visit, focused on economic issues rather than the process and the essence of wine. The wines and lunch very rich and all the staff very willing and friendly.
Incredible experience. The tour of the winery was very complete and detailed by Luna, the guide. The 4-step menu in the restaurant was very good. The attention of Nico, the waiter, was excellent. The wines of the winery are exquisite. Super recommendable They have a menu suitable for coeliacs and vegetarians.
Stunning views and interesting architecture .. Food and service don't quite match the location, but worth it for the experience ( and pricing isn't too expensive)
Monteviejo is one of the wineries of Clos de los Siete, a project led by French winemaker Michel Rolland. Within Clos de los Siete there are also 4 other wineries of which 3, including Monteviejo, can be visited (the other two are Diamandes and Cuvelier Los Andes). I recommend spending the day there knowing the 3 and tasting their excellent wines. Monteviejo is a very complete experience. The winery works with a gravity system for the production of its wines, which is worth learning about. The cava is one of the best I have visited. Its wines are of excellent quality, among the wines produced in Mendoza, by Marcelo Pelleriti renowned winemaker. The restaurant experience is an excellent gourmet option by Nadia Haron, a 4-step menu paired with the wines of the winery. The environment is unique with an unbeatable view of the Andes Mountains in Valle de Uco. The time stops. A must for those who visit Mendoza.
Monteviejo is one of the wineries at Clos de los Siete, Michel Rolland's project in Argentina. In Clos de los Siete there're 5 wineries in total, 3 are open for tourism (Monteviejo, Diamandes and Cuvelier Los Andes). It is a very good option to visit the 3 of them since they all are very interesting and offer excelent wines. The experience at Monteviejo is one of the best offered in Mendoza and the Uco Valley. The winery works with a gravity flow system for winemaking, very interesting to learn about. They have a beautiful cellar, worth visiting and the wines are outstanding, some of the best produced in Mendoza, under the leadership of the winemaker Marcelo Pelleriti. The restaurant offers one of the best gourmet paired menu by the very well known chef Nadia Haron. Once we can expect no more out of this experience, it is time to go out and take some breathtaking pictures of the stunning Andes Mountains. The best view you'll get of them during your time in Mendoza and the Uco Valley. Time stops. A must!
A shame. We went for lunch on March 8, 2020. We had made the reservation TWO months before and could not find it. They did not have it and we saw how they made an impromptu table in a place where there were no tables (in fact, we missed lunch in the room with a nice view). Also, when we were away from the room we did not have a waiter service, all the time we had to be asking them to come and attend us. When we went to pay they asked me to please send them the proof of payment I had made TWO months ago because they couldn't find it because "administration is something different, we don't handle that here". All unfortunate for a place that claims to be premium. It is my 3rd time in 4 months in Mendoza touring wineries and seriously it is difficult to find a bad one, but this is it.
We went with my partner to visit the winery and we were left with a disappointing feeling about this winery. Customer service in the restaurant is very bad. We intended to buy and drink a bottle of wine (price was not the problem) but at the bar the assistance was void and the menu has no description of the wines they sell. We ended up leaving the place without consuming anything. It is worth going just for the view that the terrace offers.
Excellent .. the location and architecture are all applause .. not to mention the wines. Obligatory visit to the 4-step menu with tasting. I hope to return!
Excellent place. An incredible view, from the restaurant you can see the mountain and all the vineyards that surround the winery in the background. Exquisite menu, good wines. Diego treated us very kind and impeccable. Super recommended. Beautiful experience.
Monteviejo combines between its great cellar, its superb wines, a restaurant of excellent cuisine with unbeatable facilities, one of the iconic wineries that in no way can be missed in Valle de Uco ....
Incredible place. Excellent wines and impeccable food. Very careful attention. It is really worth doing the experience, with unbeatable views. I hope to come back soon!
Incredible place!!! The tour is too good, I do not remember the name of our guide, but it was incredible, if I had the opportunity I would definitely go back
Lunch with incredible pairing. After I wanted to buy one of the wines we tried (Lindalfor) it was 1700 too expensive it seemed to me. The rest all incredible
We did the Passionate Tour (at March 2020 values, $ 5000 per person) on the occasion of my wife's birthday. We really got a huge disappointment, being the only activity in our entire trip that we did not enjoy. 2 wineries are visited, with tasting, and then lunch is served in a third winery with pairing. Clos de los siete is an undertaking of 5 foreign wineries, which work together, and organize these visits. We played Rolland, Diamandes and lunch in Monteviejo. The only positive: the two visits by the wineries were very good, with a lot of personalized explanation, which we enjoyed. The rest, all negative. The two tastings, medium category wines within each winery, and the quantity is very brief. Considering what was paid, it is nonsense. Then we go to the worst. Lunch with pairing. Bad food, bad pairing with the wines, and again they are mid-range wines. Let's remember again that we paid $ 5000. It is not worth it at all, especially with the offers that are in other wineries in the area. We feel totally free. Having booked 2 months in advance, we couldn't even choose between the available tables. The table near the gazebo, with the best view, was unoccupied, but "reserved by the manager". Needless to say, it was not even occupied during our entire stay. A total disaster. To finish everything, we were not even offered to go buy the wines from the wineries. In short, they don't care about the customer. Total disappointment, especially with Monteviejo, of which we are faithful followers. I would not put a handle on visiting them, knowing the type of attention one receives, for less money, in places like La Azul or Casa Vigil. Do not go!!!
A spectacular place, a winery in the middle of its own vineyards and the vineyards nestled in paradise, the view of the mountains and the architecture make this winery magnificent. The dishes served to taste the wines are exquisite and super original. The wines are very good, and the experience of enjoying them on the terrace, sitting in the armchairs, appreciating the mountains is priceless. The only thing to improve is the friendliness and cordiality of some of the waiters. Do not miss this experience !!
The place and the installations are extremely beautiful, but there doesn t seem to be a focus on the client experience or attention to the details. The food was okay, but the waiters never talked to us to explain what the food was or ask us how it was, and we felt like a burden and not welcomed. Since the beginning, it s felt like the customer is not the focal point of the bodega. The dining experience definitely does not match the beauty of the location but the experience and views alone are worth coming here!
My friend's phone was stolen in the bathroom of her cellar. And none of the managers took charge of it. Shabby fact. I do not recommend it . You go to unplug and not to live an episode of insecurity.
Guided tour of first, clear explanation and with time to take photos and ask everything related to winemaking, not only in Spanish. The tapas with the wines offered of very good quality and tasty. The cleanliness, order and harmony of spaces is noteworthy. Unbeatable landscape. The attention and explanation of what is offered by the boys who serve the tastings, first. They have to know him.
It is impressive to see the architectural development and technology of the winery. In addition to its surroundings and view of its restaurant. Unbeatable
For the wine lover it is an excellent place to know, the incredible food, if you want to have lunch in the rest you have to reserve if or if since the place is very requested, the winery offers tours that are also recommended to make a reservation Previously or they also offer tastings of all their wines, GREAT PLACE !!!!
Espacio Monteviejo is one of those gastronomic experiences that remain etched in your memory. The first thing that catches you is the place. An incredible landscape of vineyards and wineries at the foot of the Andes Mountains. A winery that welcomes you with vineyards that are "mounted" on the sides of the building. A very tall, thick, heavy door, the largest I have ever seen. Once inside, if you go up the stairs you can see wine cabinets, the laboratory, offices, the room with the fermentation tanks, until you reach the third floor where the terrace and the restaurant are. That's where the best begins, with an almost panoramic view of the entire Uco Valley. Due to the pandemic, I had to have lunch on the terrace, but inside the atmosphere is elegant and sober (the bathrooms are a luxury!). The letter is passed to you on WhatsApp and you have gel alcohol on the table. The food arrives and the journey begins. First three cold tapas and then three hot tapas. Each "mini plate" is a work of art in itself, with an incredible mix of flavors, textures and colors. The dessert is not out of tune and marks the end of the trip. After eating you can order a coffee or simply enjoy the view and take photos with the mountains or vineyards in the background. The price is not cheap, but it is much more accessible than a menu of steps, and since I am a good eater, I ended up very satisfied. The price-quality ratio is very convenient.
Lunch at Monteviejo really overshadowed what would have been an excellent day. The attention was pretty bad, but the worst was the food itself, especially the main dish: we ordered 6 eyes of beef. Not only did almost none of the orders respect the requested cooking point, but all the dishes arrived almost cold. I asked them to cook mine better, and not only did they return it to me without the accompaniment that the dish brought, the meat was warmer and it was still raw. It's the first time I've had a bad dish brought twice. It is surprising that being such a limited menu, in a restaurant with so few tables, ordering 6 equal dishes, being that the steak was not even on the grill, but on the grill ... they did not manage to do it well.
We liked the place is spectacular but we were not well attended as we wanted to buy and they did not attend us and at the entrance they almost did not allow us to enter the reservation being that I sent several emails we did not know that we had to confirm the visit
We already knew the wines and we wanted to know the winery. The experience was very good and the truth is that we were very lucky because without a reservation we were able to enter, which is very difficult from what I read of other experiences. The architecture of the winery is very good, its implementation and design. Luna's explanation of the entire process of each wine and the final tasting was wonderful. We will return on the next trip.
When we arrived at the winery we were amazed at the magnitude of the place and the view that could be enjoyed from the third floor where the restaurant is located. The place is very well distributed, the tables are very comfortable and spacious. The attention was very correct and friendly. The food was very good, it is a 4 step menu where you can choose the main and the appetizer and they are paired with 4 wines. We only wish we had all of them (the wines) together to be able to have our own experience of pairing and experimentation. Being such a large winery perhaps lacks a little warmth and guidance, since at the end of lunch we had a fixed visit, but the waiter knew nothing and then we tried to ask the girl at the bar but she was too busy to help us . It is also an experience that yes or if you have to live to go to Mendoza.
Beautiful winery, the wine is one of the best that I have tried without exaggeration. While I'm not in favor of Gourmet food, the food was too delicious. Very good attention. It is expensive but it is worth paying its price for the good wine you get. Highly recommended
