Really great restaurant in Blue Bell with nice ambiance and great food.
Really great restaurant in Blue Bell with nice ambiance and great food.
Great dinner spot. Food is excellent. One of my favorites
great food, fast service, gluten free options on the brunch menu as well
A fantastic restaurant. I highly recommend the branzino, best preparation that I have had at any restaurant.
I went there earlier this yr. for lunch to help celebrate my 47th birthday few days early/saw lady friend, bro John Hagee, Jr., Stephanie Mott working at bar there that day. Stephanie Mott's good person. I like her
Here for a corporate event, staff was right on, the bartender made great cocktails, a great evening.
the food is stuck in the 1960's, so are some of the clientel, music on Friday night is great as is the bar. does have historic value.
Awesome food.
Beautiful location and facility..
Awesome catering for you special needs
We have been there several times for lunch and dinner and have enjoyed it. Great happy hour during the weekdays! We sat outdoors for the first time since covid hit and the atmosphere was nice. The wait staff was nice and wearing masks. Drinks was great!
Poorly greeted by snooty hostesses at 5pm on Friday. The large patio was completely empty but we were told the tables were reservation only. After we looked outside the hostess said she would seat us outdoors only if we took a table immediately which is what we asked for anyway. There were bees on the patio so we had to go indoors.
The menu selections advertised online were not available. We were told that the ingredients were locked away at 2:30... Really? There are no Happy Hour offerings. Also, there is NO RAW BAR for customers. My party of 2 ordered 2 appetizers, one dinner & a side dish and we went home hungry! We ordered the baby iceberg seafood salad which had 1+ 1/2 shrimps cut in half the long way to make it look like more & had just 2 lumps of crab, a cherry tomato cut in half and half a grape. We had the blackened scallops app which was comprised of 2 scallops on a dollop of oily looking risotto which I wouldn't eat. The seafood was delicious but ridiculously skimpy. We had the American Burger which was good but nothing special. We also had the "Blue Bell Inn traditional onion rings" which were nothing like the old Blue Bell Inn & were too thickly breaded.
The menu is too limited & way too overpriced for the microscopic portions. The service is good except for the hostesses. There is no finger food or appetizers worth sharing with friends. The drinks & food are well made; the new Blue Bell looks amazing but the experience bears no resemblance to the family-friendly Blue Bell Inn that I grew up going to. This is a lively, couples/singles place to have drinks (but pack a sandwich). I went home hungry after ordering several items. Not suitable for families with kids or taking the grandparents out. I won't return.
One of the best places to go in Montgomery county for brunch. If is a little on the pricey end, but defiantly worth it. They have endless mimosas for ~ $18 per person. Food portions are a bit on the smaller size for brunch, but they sure are tasty. Would recommend to all.
I had a filet and it was perfect ...was the for a celebration of life and they handled it extremely well
Great place. Food was wonderful and excellent service.
Great serive and great food. Oysters and steak were delicious.
Everything was awesome, top notch.....until we went to pay. Quite Saturday morning waited about 15 minutes to get our card back. Yes nit picky, but at that level, everything should excite perfectly.
I had reservations for 2 for outdoors a few Sundays ago for 6:30pm.
When we arrived there were several young ladies at the front hosting. When we told the young lady we had reservations for 2 for outdoors and we were on time , she responded that there wasn't anything available. Not please wait we are running behind just a flat out nothing available after we drove 35 minutes to get there.
Luckily before I could ask to speak with a manager another young lady who was sitting out front with her looked in disbelief and pointed out to vacant tables directly out front.
The 1st host was not very pleased but we were and because of the other host we decided to stay.
I'm glad we did stay the servers were awesome and we enjoyed the dinner.
This would have been 5 stars but unfortunately the host was very much in plain sight rude and was not afraid to show she did not want us there.
Because the rest of the staff did not share in the 1st host's demeanor I have recommended BBI to others and would go myself again.
Great food, great ambiance, great first experience here! Will definitely come again!
Amazing food and drinks, great bands, nice atmosphere. Nice place to celebrate!
Great food, great people, the prices weren't expensive. I will be going back there again.
Phenomenal restaurant! Great atmosphere and food! I recently proposed to my girlfriend (now my fiance) here a week ago and the staff and manager were excellent! Specifically their manager Chris who worked with me prior to the proposal to make the moment memorable! I gave him my idea and he and the amazing staff of Blue Bell Inn execute it perfectly! Special shout out to our server Les who was very professional and accommodating throughout the night as well. Definitely our new favorite restaurant within the area, you will not be disappointed here!
Unbelievable service, menu choices and delicious food. Perfect for a party of two or twenty!
Attended a wedding at Blue Bell Inn. Food and atmosphere where amazing!
great service , great food, gun friendly atmosphere
I ate here for the first time since the place has been renovated. The food was good and I especially liked the truffle potato chips. The cheese steak dumplings were good and so was the lobster roll. Although the server's helper was nice and polite, the server was not so much. She did her job and brought the food out in a timely fashion, but was trying to hustle drinks and was essentially a Nazi when it came to who would order first. She also did not cater to tweaking changes in an item for dessert. Since it was being shared, it didn't matter if it could not be customized. If it was all going to be for me, I would have skipped it.
All in all, the food was okay, but the service had been a damper.
This spot is my preferred one. I go to many restaurants but to this one I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very amicable and the cooking they place on your table is so good. I never miss an opportunity to have a decent meal here. I highly recommend this place.
Good food and nice atmosphere but a little overpriced.
Planning our son's rehearsal dinner here. The ambience is a mix of old & new. It's absolutely beautiful! Our lunch we had was delicious & service was perfect! Looking forward to probably dining here again, before the rehearsal dinner.
Best softshell platter ever. Ambience great. Service was great.
"Best bridal shower ever!! Food and service were delicious and awesome and everyone enjoyed the ambiance. Highly recommend the Blue Bell Inn for any celebration."
Great atmosphere and good food, maybe a bit pricy. Outdoor seating in the summer as well.
Has become my favorite spot. It truly covers all bases... It can be a casual spot with the outside terrace and the adjacent bar or the raw bar or the main bar... It can be a bit more formal as well. There's plenty of room and the menu is good. We've done every type of dining here and it's always good. For those who haven't been in a while it's re-done (apparently) and it's top notch.
The food was great and it was a really nice facility. We just had my daughter's first birthday in one of their rooms and everything was really well handled. A bit slow to bring out the cupcakes, but I'd go back in an instant!
My go to when visitors are in town. Service decor food drinks vibe all make me feel lucky I live close. Would be there 3 times a month if best space want always rented out to parties. Seems to further the early reputation after renovation that they are pricey. They are worth it but should think about turning off the locals in favor of party revenue. Overdoing it could hurt overall. Maybe balance it out? Making access to back bar and patio predictable would get us there more often. Also earns 5th star.
Good food. Not cheap but quality was worth the price. Chef knows how to be creative. Fish was great.
Fantastic reastaurant and bar. I really enjoyed my meal in this hostoric building. Literally everything thing our group ordered was good. We were a large group, and very well taken care of. Highly recommend giving them a try if you haven't eaten here before.
Beautiful environment and great lunch menu. Highly recommended.
Great food, wonderful service. Had a great time. Celebrated a friend's 65th birthday.
Amazing menu selection!! Everything was delicious!!
Great atmosphere, good food, friendly staff. Nice place to hang out and listen to some great local bands. Really liked the enclosed patio area with the firepit and seating. Would defined reccomend.
My wife and I love this place! We went here right after we I proposed and the staff was amazing! The food was great and we have been coming back ever since!
Not really a surprise they deliver in quality. They have built a reputation over many years as an establishment of A-1 quality.
We had a great Christmas Eve dinner here. We had a Prime Rib and Short Ribs and both were done to perfection!
We had our wedding reception at the Blue Bell Inn on 12/7 and it was absolutely magical!! The staff went above and beyond in every way, shape and form. It was PERFECT. The food was amazing and the decor was beautiful. We could not have had a better time. We worked with Nicole and Rachel and they were both absolutely amazing. SO warm, welcoming and accommodating in every way. HIGHLY recommend this place for a wedding reception or any kind of event!!!!
Service was lovely. Dylan was quite friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious and mouth watering. Coffee was passable. And I had the most unique Bloody Mary ever.
Well ill start with the fact with that i was completely under dressed. My mother and aunt dragged me there to see a band.which i found really entertaining. we did order from menu and the food was so good i dont know how to explain it. And after eating here at the bluebell inn it has restored my interest in going to school to become a chef every bite was AWSOME waiter was very knowlagable about menu and drinks and was very nice did not mind spending 200 for the 3 of us its totally worth it i seriously give it 100 stars thanks and props to the chef EXCELLENT FOOD, SERIVICE AND ATMOSPHERE
Loved the food and drinks here... service was wonderful
It was great and we loved it. Thank you for having us.
Great food, courteous service, clean restroom, friendly staff seem committed to serving customer needs. Guinness on TAP! What more could one want. Brittany is fabulous!
Great atmosphere. We sat at the back bar, at one of the round tables. The bartender, Ashley took really good care of us. The petite seafood platter was beautiful! And the bushes were equally delicious. They had the doors up so we had a great view of the band playing on the patio.
High end atmosphere - Make sure to dress like you have a bit of money for this place, it pretty cool and a nice menu. It only loses 1 star with me because I was expecting it to be less pretentious
Very nice atmosphere. Always have a good meal when we are here. Staff is always attentive. Beautifully decorated in the holiday season.
Food was okay. Service was terrible. Waited over 30 minutes to order our food and another 20 to get our check. Not worth it for the insane prices.
Insanely pricey on Easter (first and only time) but their buffet spread was super impressive and it included a lot of brunch options, a donut wall and some desserts. We didn't wait at all for a table which was lucky, sat outside and had great service too.
We had a small party in the boardroom. The staff was great. The food was wonderful and the service was super.
Nice atmosphere good food slow service was given a tap beer with 3 inch head should not be served
Wonderful unique atmosphere, good food and drinks. A little pricey, but you're paying for an experience more than anything, and it's a great one.
service was extremely slow, food was not hot, quantities were small. Waitress was slow responding, maybe because it was a cloudy day. Very expensive for average meal and service.
Great place! We valeted, not by choice, however it worked in our favor since it was down pouring when we left. We have the petite seafood tower, which was perfect! There was plenty of options on the tower and I have never had shrimp that size. Great atmosphere as well!
Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was awesome.
Was my first time there and service was excellent the atmosphere was wonderful overall good food good time
Not exactly fine dining. Extremely small portions and way overpriced. Food quality fair at best.
If you are considering an event at BBI - book it asap! Our wedding on the terrace (77 for a sit down dinner) last weekend was absolutely PERFECT from beginning to end. One friend (a male!) described it as "magical." What a compliment! The service was on par with being at a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton. The appetizers, both butlered and stationary, were simply delicious. The main courses were hot, and 5 star yummy. I knew the food was going to be delicious as we are regular diners here, but the service was amazing! --- something you're not always sure about with a big event. There was a ton of staff on hand for our every small request, of which there weren't many as they had really thought of everything.
One special note: one of our guest is studying to be a monk, and until the evening before we did not know he did not eat an evening meal. I figured, oh well, he'll figure something out to eat. I saw a beautiful fruit and cheese platter (gorgeously arranged I might add) being delivered to him! Now that is going above and beyond to make everyone feel special. I cant say enough! Thank you Blue Bell Inn for creating a memorable evening. Holley
Been a long time customer, some good changes over the past few years, wonderful menu, even through the health crisis
The Blue Bell Inn is consistently excellent. We have been for both lunch and dinner and we have never had a bad meal. The Philadelphia Classic (oysters and chicken salad) for lunch was perfectly portioned. Their bouillabaisse is probably the best we have ever had. The restaurant offers different types of ambiance as well. The bar is bright, airy, and vibrant while they have a main dining room and a series of smaller dining rooms so they can accommodate a quieter, more private dining experience if that is your preference.
Was there to celebrate a friends b'day. Beautiful old stone farmhouse, expensive at least for a glass of wine. Outstanding entertainment
Nice ambience, good food a little pricey but not bad
We booked a private dining room at the Blue Bell Inn for a small family celebration and had a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious. Our server Les was kind and attentive, and our event coordinator Nicole was extremely helpful and easy to communicate with. Will definitely be using Blue Bell Inn again.
Just did drinks. Wed night and s half price wine and they had an excellent Jazz band. Bar area was packed though so get there early...
This place was awesome. Regarding the food: I got the ribeye steak, my fiance got the pork chop... both melted in our mouths! The service was phenomenal, there is literally nothing that was not perfect... go see for yourself!
Met friends for dinner Wednesday. Service was very good. Food was good. Pricing $$$$.
I had the 8 Oz filet mignon. ....thin, a bit dry and too salty for my tastes. Others enjoyed their meals.
Master improvement! I grew up going to the Bluebell Inn. The recent renovation has brought it into the 21st century. Best Food around!
Outdoor dining at it's best! And with great food, how can you beat that?
Great place, empties out early on the weekend, so to avoid the crowd go later.
Ate at the bar before a wine event. Very nice place a little higher than average prices but worth it. The Short Rib Tater Tots are relish.
Took the family to the Blue Bell Inn for Easter Brunch and could not have been better. Friendly and attentive staff, food was fantastic and the decor was great. They did not jam too many tables in their space which is usually my experience at holiday brunches at other locations. Very well done and worth every penny.
This place is great, really nice atmosphere. Buck a shuck oysters for 5-7 happy hour where awesome as well as everything else I ordered was delicious. Definitely a must go
Gotta go on a Friday for the prime rib special. It is extremely good! They have a massive indoor seating area divided into 3 main sections:near the bar, in a new age large dining room, and the original old section, which feels more quaint. Their is also a great outdoors seating area, where music is usually playing. The atmosphere is 40-55 socialites looking to have fun
