Great store, great and helpful owner and employees.

I have successfully kept fish but it was years ago, so I was a bit rusty. Mark is a walking encyclopedia and very helpful, staff has always been friendly. Take my advice and stay out of the big box store, these guys/girls know what they're doing. I would've been lost without their help.

Very small selection for cats, but I guess it's called woofs and waves for a reason.

We go here for all our animal needs, although the store itself is small the selection is perfect if you are looking for good quality food, treats and toys. The entire staff is so so knowledgeable, my dog was being a very picky eater for awhile and they worked with me to find her the perfect food! She is up a whole pound!! Love these guys, love that it's locally owned and that they truly care about your animals!

We were amazed from the second we walked in until the second we walked out. We immediately noticed amazing premade tank setups with fish already living together in awesome well made setups, Melissa sought us out while we were distracted and helped us get the roaches which we had come in for. She proceeded to give us the tour of what we'd need when we discussed what animals we had and options for ordering things. Helped with discounts and loyalty programs. Great experience start to finish. She needs a raise!

Knowledgeable staff with a great selection of saltwater and freshwater fish and aquariums. They also have a good selection of dog products.

Mark and staff are always friendly and knowledgeable.

I go here all the time and they provide amazing service. There selection of fish is amazing and so are the fish products. They "woofs" part of the store has a wide range of toys and treats for any dog types. I would choose going here over any big box store just for the unique experience.

They helped me pick out a tank and had so many selections of fish and helped me pick out everything that I needed they let us take the water for free with the display tank that I got and they ran a free water check to make sure everything was fine.

Woofs and Waves is THE BEST place to get dog food. They are soo knowledgeable. They have lots of selections. I was really surprised how many options there are. But they we very informative and helped me narrow it down. They also have a rewards program! If you haven't checked them out, they deserve a visit. #keepitlocal

This is a great place!!!! I was having trouble with my tank they told me what I was doing wrong and how to fix it (without judgement)! They have great fish and quality products! Top notch quality of service. The people here are fantastic and so are the pets! Best variety in town for both fresh-water and salt-water aquarium stock. Great supply of dog/cat and other pet supplies. I keep going back and I always look forward to my next visit. Give this locally owned and operated shop a try.

We live in Pierre so it's a several hour drive for us to get fish. We have now checked out almost all of the options in Sioux Falls. Woofs and Waves has a great selection, their tanks are always clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond and I think it really makes a difference. This is our go-to place in Sioux Falls for our fish stuff!

I have been to Petco, Petsmart, and a few others little shops over the years and this place is by far the best. The store is clean, quality products, and healthy fish. You can go there every week and they will have something new there for fish and if there is something you want and they don't have it they are always willing to find a way to get it. Mark was very helpful and courteous when I was wanting a bigger fish tank. He gave great advice and had answers to all my questions. The other staff members have always been friendly and helpful. I have always walked out with answers to my questions and have never had any issues with the things I have bought.

Got about 25 african cichlids in this tank and almost all came from woofs and waves. They're very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and have a good selection most of the time. I had issues with one of my tanks and ammonia but with their advise was able to correct it in 1-2 days. I love going here!

Great place, offers a large selection of saltwater and freshwater fish with knowledgeable employees.

This store is awesome, I always have good luck with the longevity of all the freshwater fish I bought there. If they don't have the fish you wanted, just ask and they will have it in within 2 weeks. The staff is always friendly and helpful and will even test your water if you bring them a sample. The prices are a little higher than the big box stores, but definitely worth the higher quality and great service, plus they do a rewards program.

Great selection of pet items for almost any kind of pet. The owner and staff are very friendly and have a wealth of knowledge about anything pet. Although I don't like dealing with the tanks, the aquariums and sea life they offer is amazing! Sometimes I think it's better than going to the zoo! ;)

I like to shop local even if it means spending a few more bucks and was expecting to do that when I heard about this store but they were actually cheaper than PetSmart for the items I bought for my gecko. Will come here for all future pet purchases.

Bought 6 fish from em. Day 5 one passed away, day 7 another passed. i called em and they gave me advice on what I could of done to save my fish and maybe my future fish. They said it could possibly be aggression. Day 14 just lost another fish. Though this one was my fault. He had worms and I should of treated the tank sooner. I got with em about the loss I've experienced and they did their best to advise on the knowledge I had provided. Hopefully I have treated my tank in time to save my Peacock.

They helped me with my fiddler crabs and their fresh water is very cheep compared to other stores like petco

By far the best place in town! I come here for all my aquarium needs. The guys are very knowledgeable and are always willing to help. They have always been super generous and have helped me establish one of my best tanks. Wide selection of fish and other pet needs at an amazing price. If you haven't been here before I promise your first visit will be great.

I have been to this place before and they treat their customers well as far as working out deals if you frequent the store and buy multiple of things. Every worker and the owner are all nice. In general prices are a smidge higher but not by much compared to corporate stores. Good quality of products and lots of knowledge.

Fish were kept in horrible conditions. Tanks were over crowded and two small for the amount of fish in the tanks. Prices were outrageously high. And the fish supply's isle is fairly small with a fair amount of biased products. Nice clean little shop, but it does not meet the needs of the customers or the animals.

A little bit of everything here. Salt water fish and coral, fresh water fish, fish food and supplies as well as items for your four legged pets. Great service as well!

If you are getting into the fishkeeping hobby, or have been for awhile, this is the store for you. I went into there the other day and this is by far the best selection of freshwater fish, and saltwater fish in town. The store and the tanks were very clean and well maintained. The best part of the experience was the staff. The staff were all very knowledgeable, and very helpful. In the fish section there's always someone around to help or answer questions.

Super attentive and unique in their inventory, I definitely make Woofs and Waves a regular stop when it comes to taking care of my pet! Plus, they have beautiful fish and coral to look at, even when I don't go in on a mission for finding toys and treats.

This is the perfect pet store. The staff is so friendly and they are great at giving you suggestions and helping you choose what is best for your pet. I have been looking for a place like this for a while and I am glad I found it.
