Impressive space, amazing decor, and perfected acoustics ie: extremely quiet for such a large open space
Terrible. Management not serious about their clients. Always no vacancy. No subway around. No restaurant/cafe around. Shuttlebus is the only public transportation. U need to scan the pass code everywhere. The place inside looks like palace, but in general u will feel more like in a fancy prison.
Beautiful incubator space with amazing technical facilities. Tons of excitement here.
great experience and visit to a old navy ship basement
I am translating, from Italian to English - a piece on this project for an Italian journal and was using the site to see the photos and check the pertinent information. Excellent... Many thanks
Wide open spaces, plants everywhere, people working on fascinating projects, good food and beverages at the cafe, and some intellectually and fermentedly lit parties. If you get a chance to visit, do so, and be sure to get a tour complete with a description of what many of the companies do. If you can rent office or co-working space, even better you re in for a treat. They also have comprehensive wood- and metal-working rooms, as well as 3D printing and vinyl printing, so if you re working on a project that requires making physical things but can t afford to buy your own tools, it s a very affordable way to get access to costly tooling at an accessible monthly membership.
New Lab open house. A great chance to meet the people behind the cutting edge of design and hardware. Interacting with their products. A fun event. Taking place in a repurposed ship building warehouse. The original overhead cranes are still present as part of the decor.
I was mind blown with the infrastructure they built so quickly. I am looking forward to seeing all the incredible ideas that will flourish in there.
I work here and it's awesome. The New Lab staff are great and really helpful, the prototyping workshops are really robust in their capabilities, and the architecture and decor are really neat. It's a fantastic community to come to for work everyday.
This is the central hub of tech innovation in Brooklyn, situated in a beautiful new building within the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Part co-working space, part incubator, part Silicon Valley episode. A lot of incredible things and people will be birthed from this space.
I m going to an event in New Lab tonight. I hope it s not raining so I can bike. Amy Goodman is talking about media and technology with two artists/activists. A few people having a conversation on a stage while others are watching/listening, is a fascinating concept to me. Isn t it? When did it first happen?

Amy Goodman is the best. Was the first time I liked Moreshin. And I love it when I shift to liking someone. It was her vulnerability that surfaced for me. And I connect to that..
I saw Erin there! It was such a nice surprise. We then biked to Setareh s for our first meeting of Artists Not in Resistance. We talked about a piece of land in Colombia, a shared home we could spend half of the year there. To make life meaningful, and more importantly, bearable. A home that revolves around making, meditating, conversation and connection. Where we could plant and harvest...
Then we saw Setareh and Olivia. We gonna read Brecht s script next time we meet.

VERY impressive location for StartUps! Here you can feel the spirit, if you want to gain a foothold in NYC you should think about this cool "hall".
Spacious and tech-savvy, this place and all of those working here are superb. You feel the innovation which inspires and fuels to think in different ways. Everyone is very welcoming and everything is kept clean. I personally love the kitchen staff!
Amazing place to be at. Hardware focused entrepreneurs have a place to to learn from each other
I worked here for a few months on a project for NYU. I thought the space was incredible, the indoor plants and new furniture really made the place look great. It s open 24 hours so my group and I could crank out some late night work when it was necessary.
Great space with lots of interesting projects going on.
Such a beautiful space! Best bathroom award: They blast reggae music and have free pads and tampons
Great cowork space with excellent event venue options.
Can't take pictures inside, haha, can only shoot outside the door.
Great coworking space. Good pace to get things done, with a nice cafe and all the necessities. Bit far from the subway but it s a nice walk in good weather and there is also a shuttle service available. It s dog friendly which is a huge plus!
Walked from Atlantic Ave to New Lab. According to Google map it should have taken 35 minutes. But somehow it felt like a really long walk as there was nothing much to see the whole way as you'll be walking along the main street.
I was awed with the structure. Have always love how they re- furbish old factories and warehouses into chic and modern work or living space.
As you walk in you're met with this huge open space with really high ceilings. The space is divided using furnitures and plants- mainly co-working space that houses new start ups . The place just oozes inspiration and creativity.
There is catering for lunch and a pantry if you wish to make tea or coffee, or to heat up your packed lunch.
amazing and inspiring space - ready to take on the world.
Great space, terribly managed. Staff is rude and unhelpful.
What an extraordinary place! Love working here. Some really promising start ups under one roof. Kudos to the concept.
Was there for Ultimaker 3 public release; got a tour of facilities, and they were quite remarkable. Totally jealous I don't get to work there.
An outstanding coworker location nestled within the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Shuttle bus service is available for tenants, employees and registered guests.
Very cool spot, a factory space turned into an office space. There are a lot of start ups here. They also host fun and interesting, cutting edge events - I would try to get to an event there if you can.
Super large converted warehouse space housing dozens of startups, a fascinating place to visit if you can. They also mentioned they will have monthly gatherings open to the public to showcase the innovations from their business commune - these would be worth catching.
Brilliant startups, great infrastructure and smart people. This place is the Silicon Valley of Silicon Valley.
Incredible facility. Company I work with did the incubator program here, and now we have our museum installed in the lobby!
