Checked into my room first sour note was a old coffee pod in coffee maker which told me the room wasnt cleaned very well. 2 queen beds one right up against the air unit blowing directly on you in bed. 179.00 a night and no continental breakfast used covid as excuse. Grounds very poorly kept.. definitely find somewhere else.

Nice little resort right on the slopes. Nothing fancy but the convenience of staying and sleeping right next to the lift was great. We had a queen suite which worked great for 3 adults and a toddler.

Stayed at the hotel. We were able to bring our dog. They put us in the perfect room, away from other guests so they wouldn't be bothered by the dog nor would like bother her. Highly recommended!

This place is not only beautiful but welcoming. I am a new skier who took up skiing to try and overcome some anxieties and learn to overcome and control panic attacks. I took lessons from a dear woman named Linda. Linda told me that she has been skiing here for over 50 years. Linda was patient and kind. I did not tell her about the panic attacks and I did not tell her about the anxieties. So her patience and her kindness was genuine. I already loved this place but she made me love it more.

Wisp is a phenomenal value. I've been skiing there for over thirty years and absolutely love the place. You can't stay for two nights and ski for three days anyplace else for anywhere near the price. 4 stars only because I've skied Colorado and obviously the mid-Atlantic isn't the same, but for anyplace within 3 hours of DC, Wisp is my favorite ski resort.

Great

We went for the flying squirrel zip line tour and then the mountain coaster. The staff on our zip line tour was awesome and we had a ton of fun flying across the mountain. Afterward we went on the mountain coaster. I had no expectations really but zipping down the mountain with me in control of my speed, flying around corners wind in my hair. It was the most fun I've had in a while.

This is a great resort if you re passing through or spending the weekend with the family. I would not recommend extended stays there based on the lodge and night life accommodations. The terrain and snow making capabilities are par for the area and the park is great if you re a JIB rider. The more technical terrain may be lacking if you re an elite rider.
They came out with a new pass system that works pretty well. You can reload the card on subsequent visits saving you from the line in the mornings. The food is average with their breakfast being they re best offering. Overall the pricing is pretty decent when compared to other resorts. Definitely recommend if you re within driving distance.

By far one of my favorites. If you want to teach someone how to ski, than this place is great. There are some difficult runs that can be enjoyed from the same lift as beginner runs so everyone can enjoy themselves and still feel like they are skiing together.

Close to a lot of attractions and convenient for our trip to Ohiopyle. The room was fine but "renovated" seems like a stretch. The toiletries were weird, mainly the soap.
The hotel lacks good lighting and signage from the road at night. They are still renovating at the sign to check in points to a do not enter road. Hopefully they get that figured out soon.
I am giving it a higher rating for location as well as for the attractions. We rode the mountain coaster twice, what a blast. Weather prevented us from trying out more.
I would stay here again, but I will bring my own soap.

Wisp is a fine ski resort for East Coast skiers. The terrain is suitable for all levels and the trails are well groomed to start each day. The lifts are a little old but get you to the top at a good pace. In terms of value, the mountain is a little costly for what is offered by not overly so. This is basically a fine place to scratch the itch of the need for skiing when a larger trip isn't possible.

The ski resort is on the small side, but bigger than the ones closer to Baltimore/DC. A great place for beginners or intermediate skiers to spend a day. In the summer, the white water course is lots of fun

Stayed at the resort for a wedding my wife and I were going to. Got two adjoining rooms for the kids and my mother. Rooms were good size and price for off-season. Resort has plenty if amazing views. Staff was very polite, helpful and friendly. I am definitely heading back with the family for a vacation of our own.

The resort itself was very clean and beautiful, but the only part about it was the breakfast! It was sent up like a regular continental breakfast was but there was barely anything, some hard bagels and juice basically, so we grabbed someone and sat at a nearby table only to be told we would be charged $8 each for bread and drinks! If we would ve known we definitely wouldn t have spent our money on what looked like a poor excuse for a continental breakfast :(

Wisp always has me torn. I've been a season pass holder for a few years because the resort is relatively close and I've had access to lodging nearby. The area certainly gets plenty of quality snow, but I find myself frustrated by many of management's decisions with regard to trail and snow management. I pretty consistently find trails either left closed despite having plenty of snow and even being groomed, or entire areas of the mountain under maintained or closed due to lack of maintenance. It seems the addition of North Camp has left with more terrain than they have the resource to properly manage.

This is tough to rate. The mountain itself is small yet they charge a ton for lift tickets. Same as much bigger mountains. It's a rip off. On the plus side there is tons of rental lodging all around the area making it a great place for groups to go for a vacation.

Been coming here for the past several years now and it has always been my favorite ski resort in this area! Best selection of slopes for all difficulty levels. Slopes are always well maintained and they offer longer, more varied and overall more fun rides down the mountain than most other ski resorts in this area

I apologize for the people who comment saying dumb stuff, and rating bad for no reason. You guys deserve 5 starts. You make dreams come true. Love snowboarding always will!!

For what you charge your guests to stay, you could at least provide working toilets and clean bathrooms. Save yourself some money and stay somewhere else.
That said I wish I could review the skiing and hotel separately. I'd give the skiing 4 stars and the hotel 2.
The skiing was great. Our instructor, Gary, was amazing! The guys in the rental shop were so nice and helpful and patient with our kids. And staff in the kids ski school were off the charts fantastic. Their manager was super nice and personable. And the slopes did not disappoint. Everyone involved with the actual skiing experience were AMAZING!!
BUT
The staff in the lodge and the food yurt and the overall lodge experience was disappointing.
The front desk and girls the night we checked in were too busy gossiping to be helpful. However the young lady on duty the next morning was super sweet and as helpful as she could be.

The young girls in the food court were super rude and completely disinterested in their jobs, our questions or in any form of guest service. The older lady on duty Saturday early morning was very sweet.

The room was mediocre. Like staying in a motel. There were hardly any outlets and everything was outdated. The room was clean...BUT THE BATHROOM WAS NOT...maybe you don't want to invest in updating your rooms, but you can at least clean the bathrooms??? AND IT'S JUST PLAIN LAZY AND CHEAP TO PUT THREADBARE TOWELS IN A GUEST ROOM.

Also, the toilets would be an easy fix. They're super short and you literally have to hold the handle down and count to 30 in order to get them to flush. Absurd. For what you charge your guests to stay, you could at least provide working toilets.

The pool itself was clean. All the drains and pillars had brown sludge around them. Again, details.

Wisp Resort is a top of the line ski resort located in a nice small town. Great slopes with decent snow coverage and not too many patches where it is icy. Good mix of Greens, Blues, and Blacks for all skills sets. Good food court with options for vegetarians/vegans which is a nice thought. Slightly overpriced but it is expected to be so. Decent terrain park however it doesn't cater to beginner/amateurs and doesn't have a wide selection of obstacles but otherwise a decent part of the resort. Shout out to Sam who works in the Tune and Repair shop as he was very helpful to me and my friends with our questions and business. #GiveHimARaise Would recommend Wisp for a family get away or to the experienced Skier/Snowboarder

My girls and I went and had the best time. We really wanted to go down the coaster but they couldn t go alone. The manager had two employees take two of my kids down and I went with my youngest. Without such a kind and courteous staff we couldn t have enjoyed our visit. Thank you so much for helping us!

Love coming to vacation here, my family And I have been coming for about 15 years now. There is always something to if you don't want to ski you can ride the mountain coaster or hang out in the lodge. They also have an indoor pool. In the summer you can go white water rafting at the top of the mountain with your family and friends. They also have mountain biking. Such an amazing place to spend time

I stayed one night on an overnight road trip. Overall it was a poor experience and I will not return. The restaurant was mediocre at best. My room was laid out backward, you entered into the bedroom and the sitting room adjoined the outside wall. Due to this the rooms were loud. I could hear everything in the 3 nearest rooms which included a family with children, barking dogs and across the hall a group of drunken middle age golfers. The golf party required two calls to security and ultimately the Sherriff were brought in. It got ugly after security failed to impress the group on two occasions. In speaking with security, apparently the weekend routine involves unmanageable groups of bad drunks, generally either wedding or golf parties. I only slept a couple of hours, the walls are paper thin.

Ok ski resort. Nothing too crazy. My wife and kids took lessons and the instructors were competent. The slopes we're maintained although there were some ice spots that should have been flagged. Food at the lodge was mediocre.
