This place has absolutely horrible customer service. We went late at night, giving that this place is 24hrs so they should be conducting as a place that was open during lunch. Anyway we had simple order. Chicken fingers, onion rings, tater tots, and a double buger with everything on it but NO bacon and cheese) They had us park in the lot which we didn't mind, so our order came out and it was the wrong order we went to the door to tell them. They got really nasty and said someone will come out so we asked the other people what they ordered and it was THEIR ORDER.
We asked them did they want it and I was surprised that they did. So we waited they came out to give the customers their food (which was ours) so we stopped her and told her that our order was totally wrong and we had their order. So she came over and just handed it to us and walked away fast while we were checking our food. Chicken fingers NOT IN THE BAG so we go back to tell them and they bring the bag back out and we got the chicken fingers but the burger had nothing but onion on there! At this point I said hell with it and left. DO BETTER WINSTEAD'S

We used to eat at Winsteads regularly. Since moving, we don't eat there often, however,we had a dr. Appt. In the plaza today and couldn't wait to go to Winsteads. They might have changed their meat, because the burgers were not what we were used to.wish we had not went there, but somewhere else. Was not the old Winstead burger taste! Won't go back! The malt was good, fries so-so and diet Sprite bad.

The burgers are better than your average steak n shake and the cherry limeade! It comes with sherbet and a cherry and is my favorite thing on the menu. They also have gigantic milkshakes for a whole family to share. Do yourself a favor and order tater tots!

Waitress was great. Fries and frosty was great. Hamburger was way overpriced for a dry patty like $4 range. They charge for anything you want to add like cheese, lettuce or tomato. Nit a place I would willingly go again.

Their burgers are so nostalgic to me, thin and crispy on the edges, the same as when I was a kid. This place never changes and doesn't need to because it is pretty much perfect, it's not gourmet and doesn't need to be. The service is always fast and friendly. Their fried items are always perfectly crispy. Always great for a quick diner burger.

Pricey

Probably went here at a bad time. But it was so busy that we got forgotten for 20 minutes until we asked if a table had been found for us. Food tasted fine, but it was a little pricier than I would have expected. It was just so crowded and uncomfortable. If I ever go again it would be without kids and later in the evening.

I feel sorry for y'all If you aint woke to this place yet. I have Been craving biscuits & gravy for a while now but haven't felt like cooking them at home, so I stopped in there this morning to grab me some.. And I have to say YUMMMM... My order of Hash browns was huge that i got full off of them before i could enjoy the rest of my meal. They are shredded arent the frozen rectangular patties like most fast food restaurants have and the cost less then the McDonald's and you get way more.. I will be back with my kids to get something later on today.. Only downside i found was the menu prices online is a little outdated. Prices online are cheaper then when you get to the restaurant. But thats okay.. It still worth it..

This is a Kansas City mainstay. Classic diner atmosphere with neon lights and well loved seating conditions. The staff are lively and excitable, especially if there is a Chiefs football game on. Get a double with bacon and cheese, get a triple and then get one to go. From classic malts and onion rings to the steak burgers and skyscraper milkshakes, this is one of the best burger spots in Kansas City, Missouri.
