My wife and I was beyond excited and in awe when we arrived onto the property itself let alone the room. Nestled right in the middle of wine country with wineries and manicured greens all around with open spaces as well with views, views, views. The rooms where just as picture online with just a little twist of much much more once entering. We were here for my wife's Birthday and I was not disappointed. The attention to detail (requests), the staff, the wine and food..just a wonderful, warm place to visit. We will for sure be back again.

Really enjoyed the weekend stay. Did not expect this to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at, but they really delivered. The staff treats you like a VIP and these days there aren't many places that can pull that off -- I would call it "affordable luxury". The atmosphere is very relaxed and it is surprising that this place is so close to Seattle. The lodge is only two stories tall and the decor is very nice. Lots of wood and the rooms themselves are beautiful. Just walking around the property is nice and the Sammamish river trail is close. The big WA winery has an outpost across the street -- we actually just walked to it (needs a crosswalk though). Hope to get back soon to explore more wineries.
We stayed at the Willows for a couple nights for our anniversary, at check-in we were greeted with a great refreshing glass of wine. I can t say enough amazing things about this hotel and the staff!! They go above and beyond, they genuinely seem to enjoy their work environment and their peers. The property alone is breathtaking with many walking trails, herb garden, water fountains, pond area, yard games, 2 friendly pigs, a lovely area to sit by the fire outside, a relaxation pool that is open to all guests staying at the hotel, there is a spa and 2 restaurants on the property. They also have an area inside near the front entrance that offers wine, beer, drinks and a food menu in the evenings. The property is in walking distance to MANY restaurants, wineries, and a great concert venue across the street at St. Michelle. I recommend eating at the Barking Frog, its right on the property. We had a couples massage that the spa that we highly recommend! We stayed in a suite with a large tub, fireplace and high ceilings. It was 100% breathtaking and worth every $ we spent. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future.
Beautiful, top-class hotel and bar/restaurant right in the heart of Woodville wine country... for a nice getaway, this is hard to beat (but you pay for it).
Top notch in Woodinville, out of the way, wine country feel. Amazing restaurant. Great service and accommodation. Ideal for special occasions and family getaways. I come to Washington specifically for this place
Stayed here with my husband and had one of the worst experiences ever staying at any hotel. We had 3 nights book over Thursday to Sunday. We were even happy to be able to bring our cat along. (I also need her as a therapy animal). Our first night was great, the room was amazing and the room service was good, the only complaint was the bed and pillows are not comfortable at all so we had very little sleep.
The main problems happen the next night (friday). I had spent some of the day at the spa and planned to go back to my room to get some sleep, but sadly that did not happen. Upon arriving at the room we heard a band setting up right below the our room. Which we weren't to happy about, then the band started playing... and it was so loud in our room we couldn't even think. I was so upset as the noise was making our cat extremely upset and distraught, also there was no way anybody could ever sleep with the noise. We couldn't even watch a movie if we wanted.
We were in no way informed that a live band would be practically broadcasted into our room. We planed to stay here for some peace and quiet not to listen to a rock concert. I rang the front desk and asked what was going on and when it would stop. Turns out they play for 3 to 5 hours depending on the preformer. So we asked how they could help us get away from the noise and that we were not informed and that we weren't happy about it. A lady said they had the same room available away from the noise, so we agreed to moved.
We had everything packed up and ready to go, then we received a call from another employee saying that they didn't have any of the same rooms available and that we couldn't moved at all, even tho we had all ready packed and were ready to move. So we ending up havin to stay in the same room.
But the noise was just too much so I rang back and asked again, they rang back and said they had another room available. We asked if it too would have noise in which they said yes it has noise from another band playing from another location near that room, and that the noise in that room would last even longer then the noise we were experiencing. We were just so flabbergasted that they would even ask if we wanted to move, to a different room that had the same noise that would last even longer.
We of course decline that room, they did offer the night free to us so we decided to just put up with it for the night. Ten minutes past still very loud music playing, our cat still upset. I looked on their website and finally found a page that had the performers calendar on it and found out that there would be music the Next night also, and that it would last much longer. They did not inform us on this ether so we would of had the same problem the next night...
Knowing that this was not what we signed up for, we decided to just leave at that moment. A weekend getaway turned into a nightmare, we were so lucky that our cat didn't go into shock, tho she looked pretty close to it. Yes we were grateful that they even allowed cats in the first place, but now we really have no idea why the place is a hotel when you can't even relax in your room 4 out of the 7 nights a week. The music from the bands can be heard all thoughout the complex. this place should not be called a lodge or even have a spa for that matter, as it is very hard to relax of a evening with all the noise that should be far away from any hotel rooms. I think having the rooms redone with sound proof windows at least or informing any quests about the loudness, before they make a booking would be a big improvement. Even Disney has sound proof rooms and they are cheeper. Still pretty upset, disappointed and distraught about the whole ordeal. It is extremely expensive for even one night to stay here in the best suite... and for this to happen is just not right at all and not worth the price. Don't expect quiet if you stay here any days between Thursday and Sunday. They did refund us one night stay but we left that night anyway, they should of refunded us the previous night considering we left and didn't stay.
We began and ended our evening in the Fireside Lounge which is touted to have a fantastic menu and Stellar service. Neither could be farther from the truth... the prawn appetizer was was ridiculously chewy poorly presented and exorbitantly overpriced. The brussel sprouts are overcooked and floating in a semi viscous cheese sauce...disgusting really.
The lakely star of the evening was warm artichoke dip that lacked the proper consistency and flavor.
In total three substandard appetizers and four beers totaled over $100, punctuated with the level of service reminiscent of a 24-hour Denny's.
Very accommodating staff. They offer a complimentary red wine upon arrival that is very good. Best hot apple cider on tap too. The Room is also great, big and cozy. Room has personal fireplace. Only complaint is that the halls were under construction during stay.
Was at Willows for a Woodinville Weddings event and everything was great! Have also visited for business events. Top notch facility and courteous staff.
Best place to stay in the Seattle area hands down. Pampered and made to feel like royalty. The whole place was super per friendly. Alex, the bell hop, valet and overall extraordinary guy made us feel right at home by going above and beyond by escorting, fetching, and greeting us each evening. Clean, beautiful, and access to everything while feeling secluded. Loved the large room with bath tub and fireplace!!! Thank you for such a welcoming and down to earth staff. I'll be back and recommend it to everyone.
We went there so my friend could check in. However judging by its exterior, the place is very upscale. Exterior is beautiful. I think I would enjoy my time there if I stayed.
Stopped to sit for a bit and get a drink before heading over to Barking Frog for dinner. Got the Brut Rose and it was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice comfy spot to sit with nice decor.
We attended a wedding at Willows Lodge. The staff was very attentive to all the guests. The place was very clean and had a welcoming feel to it. The courtyard where the ceremony took place was very tranquil. I was very impressed with this place. A+
Upscale lodge in the heart of Woodinville, WA wine country. Surrounded by local wineries like Chateau Ste. Michelle, Columbia Winery, JM Cellars, Novelty Hill Januik Winery, Brian Carter Cellars, DeLille Cellars Chateau & more, Willows Lodge is the ideal central location to explore, taste & experience the vine of the Pacific Northwest. Book a romantic suite or host your private event in a banquet room. On site catering is excellent with courteous & professional staff
Just say yes. No, seriously ... book it and follow through. Pay for the extras and treat yourself to all they have, it's worth it. Also, The Barking Frog has amazing food and wine. Go to The Barking Frog.
Not too close but yet not too far from the city , great dinner options around , wineries and nature walks , Truffle pigs on campus and lovely grounds plus super luxurious cabin style rooms... A bit expensive but great place , great servers and perfect place for group outings as well as for solo vacays
Food was good. Garlic fries and a Bahn mi. The bread for the sandwich was terrific. The pork inside was under seasoned. It was just plain grilled pork.
A definite 5 star experience from the staff, the amenities, the rooms... everything first class. And if you want an extraordinary culinary experience definitely dine at the Barking Frog across from the Inn... probably one of my top 5 dining experiences anywhere.
I always have a magical stay at the Willows! The gardens and grounds are beautiful and peaceful, the relaxation pool adds to a retreat-like stay. Barking Frog is great for breakfast, lunch, AND dinner and is very accommodating for reservations for hotel guests. Bell/valet/guest services folks are always so nice and helpful. Front desk/concierge are super nice and helpful, too. Happy hour that slides into live music at the bar is the perfect way to start off a weekend at Willows! We enjoyed the bikes tremendously during our stay, biking the Sammamish River trail and to lunch/dinner/wine tasting in the Hollywood district (just down the street!). Could not ask for a better place to stay in Woodinville. P.S. Lanais and soaking tubs in the rooms are sooooo nice to have!
Beautiful location, conveniently close to Herb Farm. The grounds are pleasant and relaxing, and the rooms are large, with a fireplace and jet tub. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the room service attendant ignored our "privacy please" sign and woke us up trying to get into the room.
We had a fantastic stay. Dinner at Barking Frog was outstanding, customer service was excellent throughout our time at the resort, and the grounds and lodge were beautiful.
I didn't actually stay at the hotel but we did eat at the Herb Life Restaurant. It was decadent and inspiring. Some tastes we're out of my comfort zone but still appreciated. Definitely high on price scale but worth it in moderation. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and even ensured a scene was minimized when I knocked over a table full of burning candles. (I went a little heavy with wine )
Barking Frog is such a treasure - always amazing flavors and textures, comfort and sustenance. Walking in the door, you are wrapped in warmth and promise, and the staff never fails to deliver.
Willows lodge is a beautiful hotel, and of course it is one of the only in Woodinville. However, it is way over priced. Go stay at the empress in Victoria for less and it's a much nicer hotel.
It might be difficult to surpass the warm, friendly and super helpful service Ben offered us at the Willows Lodge. Beautiful atmosphere. What a relaxing place to stay when in Woodinville or Redmond, Wa.
We were at the Willows Lodge for a wedding and stayed the night after the reception. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is incredible. I would highly recommend it fir any occasion.
100% PERFECTION!! I cannot find anything wrong with this place. We had the best time here. Staff ware very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this to anybody who needs a nice place to stay in the Seattle area.
In all my years of travel staying at 3, 4, and 5 star hotels... The staff at Willows Lodge was the best I've ever interacted with! I am often unimpressed with the concierge service at most hotels but theirs was amazing. Everyone from the valet and bellhop to the maids addressed my wife and I both last name each and every single time we interacted and our anniversary was welcomed with a complimentary and unexpected bottle of wine. They even brought us appropriate glassware for the soaking tub and sauna when we asked for towels to head out to use them! A++ in my book. Thanks guys.
Second time staying at Willows Lodge and it's always amazing. I live just 15 minutes away but it's a nice weekend vacation to get away, relax, and forget about your real world responsibilities and just relax in a bath tub and drink good wine.
Atmosphere is nice. Staff is very attentive. I still think it's a bit pricey. I've been there for brunch and dinner. I may still go back but maybe only for brunch occasionally.
Willows Lodge is an amazing place for an event. Near all of the wineries and breweries in Woodinville, it's a perfect fit in area. Has amazing food and also has rooms to stay for those who might be doing the wine/brewery tour.
