I am very enthusiastic about BUas! A beautiful building and lots of room for sports. There are also various "clubs" for after-school activities. The teachers will not figure out everything for you, which is generally known at HBO, so independence is expected. Generally very satisfied !!

BUas is a great college where you get the opportunity to further develop yourself and where you think along. If you get stuck with something, the teachers or fellow students are always willing to help you on your way again. This not only concerns the activities and assignments you receive, but also your study choice in year 1, further directional choices in the following years and your internship / exchange options. At BUas you are not alone!

In the meantime, I am already in my final year of the logistics engineering course, and I would recommend the course and BUas to everyone! BUas is a very pleasant and small-scale school, the atmosphere is very good and you are absolutely not a number! I personally like this very much because teachers address you with your first name and are really concerned about your progress. All courses have also recently been moved to a central campus, 10 minutes by bike from the city! The campus ensures that you not only meet people from your study program, but also other study programs, this is very cool! BUas is also an international school, this does not mean that all courses are only offered in English, but that there are very many nationalities on campus. So you meet people from all over the world, always handy to have accommodation addresses all over the world;)! The teachers and colleges are very good and up-to-date, most teachers are still working themselves so know about all current developments. As a result, practical examples and issues are often used, which makes the colleges even more interesting. BUas also has very good contacts with the business world, often through teachers. This ensures that many projects are not fictional but that you actually carry them out for a company. This way you learn how the real business world works and you immediately expand your network. These are not only small and medium-sized companies, but also large international companies! So BUas and Logistics, definitely recommended !!

BUas is a great school. I am currently in my 4th year in the Games program, and the school has prepared me to go into the industry as a beginning professional. The teachers are passionate about their field of expertise. Through lectures, workshops and -mostly- individual feedback sessions, they pass on their knowledge to us, which we can immediately apply in our game development projects. The curriculum is constantly being improved on according to feedback from the students, as well as the industry, which ensures that the subjects we go over are relevant and up to (or surpassing) industry standards. Recently the Games program moved to the new campus. Having all studies on one site reinforces the school community, and the facility is great for Games students; good work space, motion capture equipment and even a photogrammetry set-up are all present. When I first heard about studying game development, I wasn't sure if it was a career worth pursuing. It sounded more like a hobby to me, to be honest. But, studying here was the best decision I could have made, and I'd like to encourage everyone to explore what they really want to do for their education and career.

I am currently in my second study year and I am very satisfied with BUas. The teachers are skilled because they are often active in the professional field. In addition, the school has an excellent internship network that you can use. The lessons and lectures are varied and fit well with practice. What I personally really like about BUas is that it is a small-scale school where you don't feel like a number. All courses have recently been merged on a beautiful new campus, which creates an even nicer atmosphere.

The Breda University of applied sciences is quite apprehending how to illustrate an international culture that reflects professionalism, the right standard and a place where you can develop yourself towards your post student life. As a "Dutchy" I have followed the international variant in the field of tourism for the past three and a half years, being mixed with students from all around the world has been quite the privilege. The Breda University of applied sciences caters expertise, the like of which is a commensuration to the tourism industry. I found the mixture between lectures, workshops and self-study pleasant, however be aware that you are expected to be assertive which implies you are responsible for your discipline. To all international students that are doubtful about making the right choice, I would recommend you to come to Breda and make the right decision just like I did three and a half years ago. Within half a year I will graduate with a valuable diploma!

My experience with the Buas is very positive! The school is organized on a small scale, I find this very pleasant. The teachers are very open and have a lot of knowledge. Since we are on campus, the coherence between the various studies has improved. We share the library together, which ensures the exchange of knowledge and experience. The campus is also very green, so you can relax or study outside in good weather!

BUas is a very good HB0 and WO school. The school gives you the opportunity to develop yourself and bring out the best in you. Through the Campus you can make contact with other students of the BUas. This expands your network which you can use at all times in the future! In addition, many teachers come from the professional field who apply their knowledge in the lessons.

I am currently in the second year of the bachelor of science leisure studies and am very satisfied with both the study program and BUas itself. The small scale made for me an easy transition from high school. For example, in my year there are only 12 students, which makes the lectures much more personal and the teachers actually know you. The new campus is also very beautiful and there are plenty of quiet places to learn.

I am very satisfied with the Built Environment course and the school itself. The training is small, so you get a lot of personal feedback on both your work and your development. Because you are not just a number, the contact between students and teachers is very nice. They have a lot of experience in the field, because many of them besides teaching at BUas also work in the field. That way you get a lot of insights into the field. The atmosphere at school is very relaxed. There is enough room for creativity and personal contribution.

After my stay for an exchange semester I finally came to a conclusion. It started with a lot of technical difficulties during the application process. Furthermore they tell you what courses they offer to you beforehand, but they do not tell you if you are able to join that course or not until you get to the step of choosing a course. Therefore I ended up in a course I absolutely did not like, that course is called IMEM or Creative Business. To the teachers I can only say most of their courses can be done without them, there are multiple reasons for that, but I just felt they were, except one or two, lack luster and just there doing nothing. During their courses they were either reading from their slides or giving you a task to complete and then get feedback from the other students. To get a passing grade was not really a challenge, but somehow a lot of people still failed or barely passed most of the courses. I like the concept of working in Teams, but except for a few courses you were forced to do your assignmentsin Teams, which means if you get some desinterested or lazy people in your team your grade suffers under them. Even in some courses it was stated even though you have to work in teams, your grades will be assigned individually, but that rarely happened. The mentality of the people in my class is also not understandable, because they just want to pass at their first try and then want to do a redo if their grades are barely passing. Why don't they just try a bit harder the first time? The list goes on, but I think I made my point clear and all in all there was not a single thing I liked about that school.

I enrolled in this school and I still cry when i remember my time there. Most of the teachers were so hateful towards foreigners. They used teaching time for their racist propaganda. Foreign students should beware, especially those coming from Africa. Teachers openly disrespect you in class. The English teacher actually asked why I should come and study in her country. She painted Africa so dark that a Dutch student actually commented "Africans are so stupid" and she said yes ..yes! I couldn't continue because of their racist attitude. I did a project work in a group and I was the only one who was marked down, all the others had the same grade except me! I can go on and on ........ This is a racist school, all foreigners beware!

Breda University of applied sciences and its built environment program are very nice. The study itself is very unique, and the teachers are extremely knowledgeable. The international atmosphere teaches me a lot about different cultures as well. The classes are very small-scale, which means that you get very personal guidance. Overall a great school for your HBO bachelor.

I am currently in my final year of International Hotel Management and I am certainly still happy with my choice. The training is good in terms of content, with relevant courses that give me a broad basis and you also have many opportunities to gain practical experience. In some parts of the study a lot of independence and initiative is expected from you: this will prepare you well for working life. Furthermore, the school is small-scale, so teachers are approachable and know you by name. In class you clearly notice that teachers have relevant work experience with regard to the subject they teach; I find this very pleasant myself. Finally, the school encourages you to get the best out of yourself; a follow-up (master) course is heartily supported and inspiration days are often organized where you can meet future employers.

The marketing department works overtime at BUAS (NHTV). Certainly in the CMGT (IGAD) department. If only that were true for the teachers and preparation (implementation) of the curriculum for their students. On the other hand, that does not prevent them from playing psychological games with the students for which they are not qualified. These "teachers" will also sell you that you are responsible for everything in terms of learning. This to mask their own recline. In addition, this school does not tolerate criticism. Disagree with the left-wing policy? Then life is made sour to you. That is the real motto of this school. Rather close your mouth and open your mouth. Be warned if, as a parent, you are considering sending your child here or would like to go there yourself.

I have almost finished my media education and am very satisfied with the past 4 years. The teachers are very involved and help you where necessary / possible. The atmosphere in the building is relaxed and it is arranged so that it feels small. Lots of room to get started for yourself and not unimportantly: there are enough sockets!

I have been at Breda University of Applied Sciences for six months now and I have to say that I like it very much. I do hotel myself and I notice a clear structure in the study, which offers me structure. In addition, the small-scale and relaxed atmosphere of the school appeals to me a lot. Teachers really know you by first name and are always open to offer help or to have a good discussion about their field. In addition, good consideration has been given to the link with the industry, which is visible when an internship must be found or during a networking day. Of course there is always something better, but this is the case with all educational institutions and companies.

I am a third year 'International Tourism Management' student at the Breda University of Applied Sciences. The projects that I have been working on were always connected to the industry. Therefore, I got a better understanding on the application of the gained knowledge in the industry. In addition, a clear focus is being made on your personal and professional development and how you have progressed during the study. Lastly, the importance of networking and maintaining them is clearly emphasized.

I met a young man on an Internet chat and we had a great conversation. he attends this university he is originally from Bulgaria and studying at this school now in the Netherlands. I now wish to travel there and see this school. I have read so many good things and he spoke highly of the program. I hope to possibly attend this school, I am from the US. I am thankful to have spoke with him and maybe someday will find a way to contact him again.

Cruel teachers that laugh at you when you have a question, you have to do everything yourself and all these 'teachers' do is grade you. No help, seriously doubt most of the teachers know how to do the assignments they give themselves. All they tell you is to just google it yourself. Pretentious teachers that are high on their own farts.

In addition, the teachers are all super helpful and the contact is all very informal. Needless to say I can recommend Breda University of Applied Sciences to everyone!

BUas is a very good school where you get a lot of room to develop yourself. There is a huge network of well-known companies inside and outside the Netherlands, which has enabled me to work for many impressive organizations and to look behind the scenes. The lessons are of high quality and very rarely fail. As a student you are encouraged to profile yourself nationally and internationally and you also get a lot of help with this. The teachers come from the professional field and also have real understanding of what they are talking about and can often help you connect with contacts from the professional field. They like to make time for you and often go the extra mile for the students.
