My fiance and I only stayed for one night and unfortunately left very early in the morning, however we greatly enjoyed our stay! I loved walking in and being surprised to find out I was chosen as Guest of the Day, so they upgraded my room for free and had delicious treats waiting for us in our room!
The room itself is comfortable, a little small, but very clean. The bed was comfortable as well and was quiet throughout the night even though it's located near a busy street!
Very nice hotel if you are looking for a comfortable stay for a good price

We had booked a room in advance with two beds for ourselves and another couple, but they over sold. They ended up putting us in a different room with one bed, so one of us had to sleep on the floor using sheets as a mattress.

Fairfield is a good Marriott choice if you're trying to be budget conscious but still stay somewhere nice. Like that they have smart TVs you can log into your Netflix account with, but the rooms always feel really humid. Found a bit of mold on the pillow case, but they promptly swapped them out for us

Very impressed and we will definitely stay here again if we come back. The hotel is connected to the convention center so you can get all over downtown without walking outside which is great in the winter! We got our hotel on late notice so we were unable to secure a handicap accessible room the first night. We went down and talked to the front desk about getting an ADA room the second night and it was absolutely no problem. They were very accommodating and helpful. The price is average for the hotels around it but it also offers continental breakfast which is not offered at all of the hotels. Breakfast has a variety of choices such as sausage, egg omelets, scrambled eggs, cereal, fresh fruit, waffles, bread, etc. One thing that really stuck out to us was the breakfast crew. Delisa, Ashlee, and Yeimi greeted everyone as they came to breakfast with a smile! They were also extremely attentive to keeping the counters clean, the food restocked, and the tables clean after someone would get up. We stay at quite a few hotels every year and I have never seen any crew like this one! Also, the hotel was clean, the rooms were spacious, and all of the staff was very friendly. They have a very nice ADA room with a roll in shower. They also have a very nice lobby with a fire place to sit and relax and stay warm! Highly recommend this hotel!

Do not stay here if you would like: Honesty, truth in advertising and a decent sized room with a King size mattress. My wife and I came here for a wedding, and I reserved a room with a King size bed. Once in the tiny cramped room, I noticed the bed was not a king size, but rather the queen size we sleep on every night at home. I went back to the front desk to ask why were placed in a room with a queen size mattress, and the front desk clerk told me we were in fact in a "King size" room, and that mattress sizes aren't the same for hotels. Apparently some hotels have a "hotel king size" which is in actuality the same size as a queen. Instead of just being honest and stating that they have only offer doubles and queen size. It's an insult to the intelligence of the people you serve.

We stayed there on a Saturday night. We reserved a king bed on a 3rd party website, but were told during check in that only rooms with 2 twins was available. Regardless, the room was great and the hotel was fantastic. Not their thought that a 3rd party website was wrong

Untrustworthy staff and missing jewelry. The hotel was fine. We found the room clean and the location convenient. HOWEVER; we discovered jewelry missing from the room following check out. We stayed for one evening, during which a housekeeping attendant entered our room after 5pm. Towels were replaced and the hotel confirms that someone entered the room. We began contacting all Marriott and Fairfield Inn avenues known to us the moment we discovered the missing items. Not only did staff at the Fairfield ignore the severity of the issue, but they waited until two weeks after the incident to investigate with housekeeping or return any of our calls, emails, or inquiry. The jewelry is long gone, and we have been informed that the housekeeper that entered the room no longer works for the company. Of course. To top it all off, we've been handed limited liability language which covers less than a tenth of the value of the missing item instead of any satisfactory resolution. This has dragged out for an entire month over multiple calls to the hotel and global Marriott customer service, complaints via my personal Marriott rewards membership account, emails with the hotel's assistant general manager, and countless hours of our time spent.

I had a business meeting while there. The lobby was very crowded and noisy due to the convention going on that weekend. We ended up having to go outside. There was a place outside with some patio tables and chairs that we made use of.

I stayed for the NCAA s on 3/29 thru 4/1. Rooms are clean and good continental breakfast. Walking distance to many restaurants, bars and Lucas Oil Stadium. Most of all the staff were outstanding to me. I forgot my mouse for my computer, so when I asked to borrow one, no problem. It is the little things that count. I will stay here again. Plus check out the TGI Fridays, which is connected. The staff is exceptional as well.

The hotel has been very accommodating, and is directly connected to the convention center. This makes travel to and from events so easy! Valet is nearly as much as self parking, so you might as well go for it.

Nice if pricey

Nice if pricey
If you're going to a convention at the JWMarriott, know that you will have to go through the garage to get there. Also, this hotel is not connected to the skywalk. It is close to most things in downtown Indianapolis.

We waited to get a room on a floor with the other couple traveling with us until approximately 6pm, and were never called to inform us it was ready. The room's closet door is broken, and is a bit smaller than what is considered a standard size room. If you're looking to save a buck from booking the neighboring hotels, but won't miss amenities, it's a fine choice.

So I was treated to a "weekend" getaway and since I always love staying at a Marriott it was only fitting to book a stay here. The location is amazing, you'll have various things to do right in walking distance. And the team working there during our stay, FABULOUS! We'll be back, in the meantime, keep up the great work y'all!

PARKING IS $34 PER DAY. They did not inform me of that when I made the reservation. The front desk staff seem to dislike their job because they are not friendly. Hotel room was small but bathroom was a good size.

Very nice hotel, but the continental breakfast meat needs some help....the bacon is cooked way way way too done! Bacon does not have to be dark brown or black to be done. The staff are both helpful and friendly.

I don't know how this hotel gets five stars, unless reviewers haven't stayed at many hotels. The rooms are super tiny; no mirror except for bathroom so if someone is showering, you can't put on your makeup or do your hair elsewhere; blowdryer was hidden in closet; coffeemaker not near an outlet - had to move it to make coffee. But all of this would not bring me to write a negative review. I booked through my cousin's reserved wedding suite of rooms. Arrived at 4 (check-in is at 3) with my 83 yr old mother - room wasn't ready for 15 minutes. Met my cousin downstairs to leave for the wedding - waited over 30 minutes for the valet to bring his car around. I finally grabbed a ride with another relative. My cousin and his wife arrived AFTER the procession and the venue was a 3 minute drive away! Just checked my account and I was charged 180 and then another 10! My room was 129. I called and was told the charges were for "incidentals" and would take 5-7 business days to be removed. What? I asked if every guest in the wedding party was charged 190 for their 129 room and she said "No. Every guest is different." She transferred me to a person's voicemail. I called back and was on hold for 14 minutes. Finally got the same woman who said the managers were out to lunch. This place is in downtown Indy. If they can't handle the volume of guests and service them properly, move on and let another hotel step in. I will not book there again.

Was clean and good quality. I didn't have time for breakfast, so no comment there.
Tub drain is weird. Love the large containers of shampoo, shower gel, etc., but they are hung in the wrong place, so plan on water in your eyes. And be careful ... shower curtain is tricky!

Great location for enjoying the sights in downtown Indianapolis. We walked along the river, to the monuments, and of course to St. Elmo's for shrimp and steak. There is free coffee and infused water in the lobby and the rooms are fairly cozy.
