Wonderful place to sit and relax.. expensive though

the hotel is sensational however the information is precarious, it does not have wifi in the gym.

Excellent views on the Mediterranean sea. Yet.... As if its lower rating from other Sheraton hotels over the world.

A 5 star hotel, so to speak. I do not see where are the stars, at the level of acceptance is to review, a person for several customers, so they are outdated, we reserve by phone and we arrive late we are there that there No room, after that we get a room toilet room, bed already used, wardrobe clothes inside. In the night someone trying to open your door while you sleep. And the worst while you eat lunch, they come bothering you in front of everyone with the bills to tell you to pay. Like we're not going to go without paying. No commercial gestures.
Their answer (is that they are outdated). In this case it is necessary to recruit professionals.
I find the place rather meets. To say that there is the service, there is no quality, but the reception is the three golden rules of a 5 star. We were at the Sofitel and there are three golden rules. I advise you SOFITEL

Stay from 27.12.2018 to 03.01.2019, 3 children, 2 adults. Impeccable room. Magnificent view! Top quality bedding. Very attentive and extremely friendly staff! Impeccable breakfast quality! quality international cuisine. Too bad that Algerian soup is not systematically offered at the buffet. Catering staff so attentive and kind ... even more with our children. Very smiling welcome staff! Very pleasant lobby! Management very attentive. Impeccable wellness area!
New Year's Eve perfectly in line with our expectations!
We went to this hotel without great conviction given some reviews.
We leave delighted and highly recommend this establishment.
A small downside: on our arrival, we are informed that the indoor swimming pool is not authorized for under 16s but after discussion, children authorized under the responsibility of the parents.

Note: for those who would like to discover Algiers and its surroundings (ruins of tipasa, tomb of the Christian woman, our lady of Africa, garden of trials, monkey stream ...) ask Nanny: guide / taxi with an extraordinary culture and knowledge from Algeria! And perfect mastery of the French language!

Very nice hotel but very disappointed with the quality of service ..... disappointed with room service, fruit platter which contains an apple and a banana and 3 slices of unripe melon .... breakfast is not much ... in the tea room, all the pastries and pastries on the menu were unavailable, it's incredible! Room with sea view but I was given a room on one of the lower floors so the view was zero, the sea almost invisible ... the card to enter the room was demagnetizing all the time!
The Italian restaurant is very good however

Hello, so I'm just coming out of a night at the Sheraton in Algiers, I wanted to book by phone at 6 p.m. I was told "call tomorrow"
So I said "no madam I want a night for tonight ... do you have availability? "
She told me "call back tomorrow to book or come on site"
Mdr the Algerians ...
In short, I am already arriving I park in front to find out the porter told me to park in the parking lot further ...
I said to him "I am making inquiries and if there is a room I will come back to take my luggage and I will park further ..."
He said "no sir. "
In short once again the Algerians ptdr ...
I go to the reception, they tell me 30000d (140 ) per night ok I pay, no porter asks you to take your luggage ... good no big deal.
very comfortable bed, 6 bottles of water, frankly nothing to say ...
The evening buffet meal very good, but when I leave the restaurant I sign the name and room number ticket.
When I arrive at the room the phone rings and there the waiter asks me to pay because when I arrived they did not take a bank loan at k or ...
Very nice, he goes up to the bedroom himself to collect the money ...
Very polite serious nothing to say.
In the morning breakfast when I arrive she asks me for my room number she takes note of my lunch very well and really well stocked buffet.
But as soon as I have finished my breakfast I go out and the lady tells me
"Sir, your breakfast is not included in the price of the room"
but like not a smile, nothing borderline angry
I pay her without saying anything.

I always pay the supplements when I leave the hotel there in Algiers, we run after you ...
Good for a renowned hotel not top ...

Good evening .I am staying at this very moment in this hotel. And I speak to you in tears in front of the humiliation of which I was victim in the restopendant dinner I had to deal with a rude personals especially the waitress all that pask I wanted to take a a small piece of bread for my sick son who stayed in the room. I am very respectful and respected. I treat him like a thief. There are ways to talk to people, even if there are positive points everything has been swept away. I had the impression of being watched for attention. My God !!! Never again this hotel

Great place quiet and with one of the best views to the sea

Not at the 5 star level really, mediocre service in general and even worse in self restaurant were tables keep dirty and you may wait a long time (0.5 h sometimes) before any water mat want to set your table and bring some water!

If perfection does not exist, where did the Sheraton come from? Really it's total perfection, I liked everything in a large complex of high level, before I think that kind of hotel does not exist in Algeria but after my stay in the vast hotel located on the edge of the mother I confirm that Algeria has great tourist attractions, I can not forget the evenings that I spent at the bar 1001 night with my colleagues .... personal smiling and kind and listening to customers, I highly recommend this high class hotel

Security stole my money .... 2000 euros, I put my bag in the x-ray machine and I forgot to recover it then in doubt I asked to see the surveillance videos and they clearly told me that they will never show them to me ... God is great and everything will be settled before him

They want to call themself 5 stars hotel and they dont even have microwave. I have food restriction and cant eat the food in the restaurant! Cant even heat my meal.. $$$$ all they want. When i ask they said it was for my safety..? You cant even bring food from the outside because of course they want your money. Very over rated and over prince for what this hotel real value is.

Very nice place, and from my opinion the most in Algeria, the meeting rooms the restaurant everything is brilliant and let you feel comfort in rooms specially those of Bobvoy members. You will enjoy the luxuary of the rooms, the health club and even the clinic if you need any medications. The staff if friends leave and kind everywhere ...............

Good service , yes i'll give you that , however there are a few issues such as paint missing in some rooms , and sometimes the cleaning staff just takes a business card or two thinking they are trash and you almost end up loosing a phone number... it happened only once in the 6 months or so i stayed there , a good place to stay if you are on a business trip , the security is good and the location is also rather well.
