Very positive experience. I went to Westside on a very snowy day on purpose. I wanted to test drive a couple of different side by sides and figured that horrible weather would be the perfect test. I was introduced to my salesman, Nate, who eagerly helped me out.

Nate went out of his way to dig four machines out of the snow so I could drive them. He even provided me with a helmet and gloves. With each question he had an answer or admitted not knowing and made sure to find out the answer. The following week I returned to the dealership so that my wife could drive the side by side machines I had narrowed down. Again we were helped by Nate who was patient throughout the process.

In the end we purchased a Polaris Ranger 570 SXS at what I feel was a reasonable price. Westside even gave us a military discount. I've not experienced the service department yet but I suspect that too will be acceptable.

Thank you Westside for a positive testing and buying experience!

I was in the store on the 23rd of October. They close at 6pm and I came into the store at 5:15pm for parts that I called ahead for. I walk to the parts counter and a guy was standing at the first computer and told me he doesn t work in parts he was checking the schedule . So I stood there and waited for 10minutes. No one in sight. So I called the parts department TWICE!!! No one answered. I waited another 10minutes. Charlie in sales and the employee that was checking the schedule and another random guy were talking about dirt bike racing over by the check out counter. 5:45pm Charlie looks over and asked if I m being help and I replied with no. He helps by going in the back to get someone to help. Mercedes comes out first to help for about 30seconds then pawns me off to another guy that wasn t much help. 2 stars is generous...

The staff was pleasant but did not follow through. It took 4 months to service my UTV. When I called to find out why it was taking so long, my call went to v/m and their v/m was full? You can not run a business with this poor serive and follow up.

I had a good experience buying my Ducati here. Quick and efficient and Sandy was enjoyable to talk with. Had the vehicle serviced after 600 miles and it went well too. I would never ask for the bike wash because it is often they don t accomplish it, but overall a good place for those that come in with a goal in mind.

Upset I was charged 2 hours labor and they only spent 10-15 minutes on my carb. I wrote a letter to the company General Manager that went ignored. I do not trust your company or your people. Will not return. I have told my riding friends of my experience and my neighbors. All I can hope is that I get as many people to avoid your business as possible as you stole from me and lied to me, and I believe you d do the same to anyone else.

My wife took the motorcycle safety course through west side, the course we highly reccomend, instructors were great and the wife passed and walked away from the course feeling confident. We have shopped at this dealership for riding gear, helmets, and other accessories. For the last 5+ years they have been pretty good. They tried selling spas for a while, then snow blowers, BMW, and then Ducati. Last year we stopped by the show room looking for a new dirt bike helmet for my wife. I believe they had ... 9 helmets in stock, that is it. Hopefully they will keep a better selection of gear, recently we haven't been terribly impressed

You can buy a nice BMW motorcycle from a lot of places. The best dealers offer exceptional customer service to separate themselves from the rest. Why should you purchase from Westside whose service department is a total embarrassment? I came home with my 1150GS after servicing and not only was it not fixed, it was unsafe to operate. The service manager offered apologies and excuses when all I wanted was reliable service. I will drive the extra mile to get to a dealer I can trust

They are not willing to work with you on anything. The sales team will not give one inch of ground and tried to cut $500 off my trade in value. Very dissapointing. I will never give my business to westside and I will be telling all my riding friends to stay clear.

Spokane County Fire District 3 hosted a funeral recently for a former fireman and commissioner. Westside loaned us a UTV which allowed us to shuttle attendees through the parking lot during the recent bad weather. The UTV carried 5 plus the driver and totally met our needs while making it a safer walk for those in attendance.

Your understanding and helpfulness allowed us to provide the send-off deserving of our fellow firefighter. Special thanks to Tyler Oas and John Yarno for your help. District 3 is very appreciative of all that you did to make this a special event.

Sincerely,
Spokane County Fire District #3

Something has changed! I just bought a new BMW r1200 GSA from westside and had a great experience! Seems they have done some house cleaning and the results are fantastic. Everyone was extremely helpful. However, John and Sandy Yarno are the reason that I bought the bike...... ! They are absolutely fantastic people and made the whole experience less like dealing with "sales" and more like dealing with friends.

I cannot say enough positive about my Westside Motorsports experience. I took the intermediate safety course a year ago through them and re-endorsed my license. I have been off a bike for 20 years while raising kids. Awesome learning experience and the instructor Chuck made it a blast.
Through the next year I test drove a half a dozen bikes and they were nothing but patient and informative. ZERO pressure. I pulled the trigger last week and the buying experience was such a wonderful surprise. THANK YOU JOHN AND STEVE. We as consumers are so use to being haggled to death when it does not happen we should all reward those businesses. That is my goal here and to everyone else I talk to interested in buying a ORV or Motorcycle. I picked up my bike yesterday. THANK YOU SANDY for such a painless and efficient purchase experience. Bike was everything I expected a MORE. I look forward to taking it in for it first service as I expect the QOS to be equally satisfying. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BUY YOUR TOYS. :)

I took the Motorcycle Rider Course here to get my endorsement. Because I had never even sat on a motorcycle, I was a bit nervous. Everyone else in the class seemed to have at least some experience, in one form or another - except for me. Luckily I had Chuck as an instructor (you can't miss him - he's pretty bald). Chuck was excellent. He took me through all the basics and was very patient with all of my rookie mistakes. I mean, I hadn't even ridden a clutch before, so that combined with the gear shift was really overwhelming for me on the first day. However, by the end of the second day, I was doing pretty well! I was able to maneuver through all the tests pretty well, and ride comfortably at a decent amount of speed. I passed both the written test and the driving test with some room to spare. If you are new to riding, I highly recommend this place.

I took my MSF training here. Good course and highly recommended. You get a coupon for gear in the main store, which was closed the day I took my course. I came back and found a very well stocked store. Things for the sport tourer as well as the motocrosser. Friendly knowledgeable staff, decent prices, and I picked up some Alpinestars summer gloves. I'm sure I'll be back.
UPDATE:
Over the last year I've been able to make several purchases. New helmet, gloves, shields and pinlock for the helmet, etc. Westside has always been excellent. I've visited the service dept with a riding buddy while he had some warranty work done and I am fully impressed. Much more attentive to the little things than other local dealers.

I recently had a lengthy experience with Westside Motorsports' service department. This was a situation that could have easily gone off the tracks at some dealerships. However, their Service rep.... Kevin Braun stepped in and made sure the job was finished right. Kevin was very professional, friendly, courteous, and knowledgable. Thank you. People like John, Charlie, and Kevin are the makings of a good dealership team.

Went here for a rear tire replacement on my '06 Shadow Spirit 1100. It was the end of the season and very busy, but they were able to work with me on scheduling the work in timely manner. The tire was replaced professionally and at a fair price when compared locally. They wiped-down my bike after working on it. Looked great.

Westside has done some work on my Polaris Ranger a few times and they have OUTSTANDING customer service and I am a self proclaimed customer service snob, as in I will go anywhere for top customer service and will pay more for a company that exhibits excellent customer service. The service department at Westside is top notch. They not only know what they are doing, but know how to serve people. Are they perfect? No. But they consistently provide great customer service and an excellent product in their workmanship, and that is priceless.

If you have an older bike that needs mechanical help Westside is not the place to look. Basically if they can't hook a computer to it they won't touch it. Parts department and service is way too relaxed as you could wait 15 minutes all by yourself but when you can finally get help they're very friendly and accommodating. Got no calls when my parts came in as they promised. Literally no competition for miles around so if you don't like it, too bad.

Every Employee at WestSide goes above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of regardless if I need parts and or service on one of my toys.
I have done business with them for several years and have yet to have a bad experiance. Service dept has worked on every thing from my Jet Ski's, sleds and street bikes without fail.
The Parts dept is very responsive and understand I am there to get what I need to keep my machines running. I feel they stock a wide variety and cannot stock every thing but cover the basics very well and will order anything you need.
I also appreciate the involvement and the time that Westside puts into helping bring Track days to Spokane each year.

Thanks,

Stacy Lackie

Chuck and Mike are truly amazing instructors. With a fun attitude and a no pressure approach, those guys can take the greenest of novices and have them COMFORTABLY riding like a pro in 2 days flat... ask me how I know. I will be back for the advanced course if nothing else than just to sponge more wisdom and experience from these two professionals. Thanks team!

I took my new Yamaha there to get its first service at only 600 miles and was charged $403.68 (tax included). When I called ahead to make my appointment they said it would be about $160-$170. They billed me for 3.5 hours of labor, but called me and told me my bike was ready for pickup only 1.5 hours after I dropped it off, meaning they worked on it less than that. I wonder if they even checked everything that was on the list to check.

I spoke to customer service and they said they only bill by the books and not by how long it took, and there's nothing they can do I have to pay that price. I did some research online and other owners of the same bike paid between $80-$150 for their first service which seems much more reasonable, especially when the bike costs less than $7000 brand new. This isn't a BMW or Ducati just a budget Japanese bike, I would think the first service (oil change, tighten chain, inspection) would be included when its at 600 miles. I do not recommend them to anyone, and if you do have to use them make sure to get a full written quote ahead of time, and ask to see if they will actually work on the bike that long.

Wish I could've given 0 stars. Worst possible expe...

Wish I could've given 0 stars. Worst possible experience with a service department imaginable!

In short: took 3 weeks to schedule an appointment, 3 weeks for the mechanics to put in 1 part and less then an hour of work, and when they told me they fixed it, it still had ALL of the same problems, and they told me it'd be another month if they tried to fix it!

I was so excited to ride my motorcycle at the beginning of the season, but it broke down on my after a few days of riding. After trying to fix it, I got fed up and scheduled an appointment as soon as I could, which was 3 weeks. When I brought it in, they said they'd get to it ASAP, but only called me a week later to say they finally looked at it. They order the parts and said it'd be done in 2-3 days. For the next 2 weeks I had to badger them to see if they'd even touched the bike! I had missed out on great riding weather! Finally they installed the part and tested the bike, telling me it worked. I was so thrilled, and immediately raced down to the shop. I paid, got my bike, and went to go ride off on an adventure, but the bike had the SAME problems as when I brought it. NOTHING had changed! I was upset, but the service department wouldn't admit to not fixing it properly, they told me there were other issues, and that it would take 4+ weeks for them to work on it. They didn't care about me as a customer, they just wanted their money.

I wish I could have gotten all that time and money back!

I have visited WS, and have NEVER had an experience anything less then excellent. Super knowledgeable staff, great attitudes from everyone, extremely helpful. They make you feel like they want you there, even if you only stopped in for oil and a filter. Great service on your ride too, no BS repairs, only what you need, and want done. Fair priced, incredible inventory, I can't give them enough praise.
It's worth just visiting them.

I bought a 25k R6, from a private owner that was maintained by them, and I could barely tell it was that old.

I purchased a used Kawasaki Concours 14 from a loc...

I purchased a used Kawasaki Concours 14 from a local credit union (it was reposessed) and not able to confirm any service history from the previous owner, so I took it to Westside for their thoughts.

I met Nigel, a service desk employee, and explained my situation. He went outside and carefully inspected the entire motorcycle, measured tire tread depth, etc. He made several great suggestions as to areas for servicing and explained how I could do some of them myself, which I did.

I also needed to purchase and get programmed a second proximity key fob. The programming, if done correctly, is a quick 20 minutes. If not done correctly it can actually disable to motorcycle and cost over $800 to remedy. Again, Nigel was involved in the purchase and scheduling the programming of the new fob.

Long story short, I arrived for my service appointment and my motorcycle went into service 20 minutes early, and was correctly programmed in less time than I thought it should take, then was verified by both the service technician and Nigel at my request. (This system has both active and passive transducers and is fairly complicated to set up.)

Nigel had researched the programming (as had I) and helped ensure the correct procedures were followed.

Impressive.

I know this reads like a planted review, but this is my actual experience at Westside. You can search for me on Facebook, I'm there and am willing to verify the above.

I'm enjoying my Concours and feel better because of the efforts of Westside and especially Nigel.

I am leaving the 5 stars for Mercedes in the parts department. My husband and I highly recommend seeing Trennon if you are looking to buy your next ATV. We went in originally wanting a side by side, but changed our minds and got a dirt bike and four wheeler. Trennon didn't get frustrated, and kindly helped us pick out the perfect vehicles for our needs. He wasn't pushy, and just seemed like a really nice guy. Sandy also helped us with paperwork and whatnot and she was an absolute doll.

Nearly all of the clothing I ride with was purchased at Westside and they have always been helpful to me and the prices reasonable. It started with buying a jacket at the Motorcycle show back in 2010 and has continued since then. Fancy location and faculties. Friendly staff

BUT I signed up for an intermediate riding course using my own bike after being clear I wanted my skills evaluated upon arrival found out the course was simply a 1 day BRC using mini bikes aimed at experience riders who needed the course to obtain a motercycle endorsement.
My wife brought her bike for service. Told needed brakes AND Rotors. Rotors NOT NEEDED.
Staff spent time helping choose her a new helmet. Ordered it for home delivery.since Spokane is 180 miles away Charged xtra $38.00 for shipping. Called 1 week later because it had not arrived. OPPS, Was not ordered. 1 month later I canceled the order and next day received a call. OPPS it was at dealership.
I wrote a letter to the assistant GM detailing my experience. No reply.
They DID Offer us the helmet for a discount and free shipping

Possibly they simply need some organizational skills
