I took my new Yamaha there to get its first service at only 600 miles and was charged $403.68 (tax included). When I called ahead to make my appointment they said it would be about $160-$170. They billed me for 3.5 hours of labor, but called me and told me my bike was ready for pickup only 1.5 hours after I dropped it off, meaning they worked on it less than that. I wonder if they even checked everything that was on the list to check.

I spoke to customer service and they said they only bill by the books and not by how long it took, and there's nothing they can do I have to pay that price. I did some research online and other owners of the same bike paid between $80-$150 for their first service which seems much more reasonable, especially when the bike costs less than $7000 brand new. This isn't a BMW or Ducati just a budget Japanese bike, I would think the first service (oil change, tighten chain, inspection) would be included when its at 600 miles. I do not recommend them to anyone, and if you do have to use them make sure to get a full written quote ahead of time, and ask to see if they will actually work on the bike that long.
