Horrible customer service, I'll never ever used this company for anything. I'll never give a referral. I'm in awe about how this company is even still in business. I can't believe the way the treat there customers. There's not enough room to say what I want to say about this place. My best advice is make sure you look somewhere else. Me, personally never ever again I would rather go without than take a loan from this company. They have absolutely 0 consiciounes. Boo hisss!!!!!!! Never ever ever ever ever
Customer rep this time was very nice. But overall they are nagging and obnoxious. Even when surgery and rehab was told to them they still threatened me with reposition
I had no problems with them until I paid off my loan I have been given nothing but attitude sarcasm and hold please ever since. I just want the title to my car and now I have yo pay more money because they lost it. Beyond the lack of compassion its unfair that after paying all the interest they require that I am basically getting a middle finger and the cold shoulder.
Edited to include additional information- Recieved a call from Westlake stating they were looking for my spouse. I let them know they had called the wrong number but asked what I could help them with. They told me, even though THEY called ME, that they couldn't share any information with me. Then why call me? Why have all of my information on the account as well? This company feels so so scammy. If they're suggested to you as a loan provider RUN.
I tried to call in to make a payment on our auto loan since the direct payment form we had filled out wouldn't take effect until the second payment. The line disconnected every time I selected the option to make a payment over the phone. After finally getting through to a "customer service" agent, they wouldn't allow me to make a payment. I verified all the information on the account, but since I didn't have the paperwork directly in front of me with the exact payment amount down to the cent, they wouldn't allow me to pay it and would not tell me what the amount should be. We've not even made our first payment with them yet, and I'm already looking for other options to move our loan to. Severely disappointed.
Absolutely horrible! Their customer service is the worst I have ever had. I bought a new car and used my old one as a trade-in. I had my loan on my previous car with them. I called because it showed that I had a past due balance. I called in and explained the situation and asked for a late fee to be removed, I had never been late before. They refused, the account was overdue by a day. I requested to speak with a supervisor who also refused to reverse the fee and to add insult to injury, told me that if I didn't pay the balance they were going to repo my car, I laughed at him and wished him good luck! I have never been so insulted in my life. Their reps are the stupidest individuals that I have ever dealt with and I never paid the late fee. If you have a loan with these people, they charge an outrageous amount of interest, I recommend getting rid of them as quickly as possible and NEVER do business with them again. RIDICULOUS!

I have not really had any concerns with them up until this point. We have had our loan with them for almost a year. The only thing they are willing to offer during the covid-19 crisis is a payment arrangement. They are not willing to take off late fees or defer payments. Every other place I have talked to is willing to do a deferment. Honestly this has made me rethink me thoughts on them. The whole world is in the same position. I am not real happy....

Papers getting lost in the mail, never doing what they say they will. RUDE customer service reps. Messed my credit up & now it will take 3 months to fix because of their mistake! I could go on & on! Beware of Westlake financial!!
I been hung up on 4 times which lead me to surveys which were not good. Then I was told I could have a defferment and then when I called I pay that. They said I was no longer able for it. So now im waiting on a new supervisor to call!

This bank was very quick to aquire my car loan. Since Jan. 2020 they have yet to satisfy my automatic payment request.

I ve never had a negative experience with Westlake regarding Customer Service until today, then when I called back and Harvey answered me, he completely turned my experience around by being not only extremely helpful, but honest and reassuring during such an unpredictable time. For that I thank you and hope you continue to provide this type of service for all who will call in a time of need and understanding.
I am very satisfied with the attention that Mrs. Maria Rebecca gave me, we were able to solve everything as I expected, on the part of the Financier I did not like that they never notified me what was happening with my account, I understand that when you fill out the application they take all the personal and necessary data to contact the client, but it did not happen with me ... they should pay more attention when a client signs as sign. Because just as it affects the credit of the main person in the loan, the second signing person to respond for the loan is also affected and the most important thing is that both parties are informed of what is happening
Today I had the chance to speak with Triana Prince and she is the very meaning, of the epitomy of excellent customer service. She offered me just that! She has a pleasant attitude and displayed an upbeat positive demeanor throughout our entire call. She had a solution that benefitted me and made sure I understood all it entailed to the fullest before our call ended and I felt valued as a customer as well as reassured. She is The Best!!
I recently refinance my car and I called Westlake to try to speak with the accounting department to verify that they put the check into the right account and all I get is the run around saying that there is nothing that they can do to help me what kind of company doesn't try to help the customer out bad customer service
I was pleased to refinance my car with westlake as my interest rate was considerably lower. I was told through the refinance process I could change my due date once my first refinanced loan payment goes through. I prefer to have certain bills come out on certain days. As it turns out they will change your due date but charge you additional interest for doing so. So basically a late fee. That's not changing a due date that is saying yeah you can pay us on the date you choose but we are going to make more money off of you for doing so. Thanks for nothing, now I have to adjust my whole bill pay calendar. Not a good start in doing business with Westlake.

TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. The only reason I had an auto loan with them is because it was my only option at the time. The customer service is non-existent. When I finally tried to re-finance through another company it became a huge pain. NONE of the customer service numbers for Westlake worked and their website wouldn't work either.
This company is a JOKE. Had a fender bender over 2 months ago. The collision company called and got the address to send the insurance check to have it signed and mailed back but instead they applied the payment to our principal balance and now when you call in they never have a supervisor available and I ve yet to receive a call back even after sending them my estimate via email (to the email I was provided) I would not recommend this finance company to anyone looking for a new or used car. I live in Texas but I am not above calling the Los Angeles police depot and filing a theft report on the company because that s exactly what they ve done. And I will not be making another payment until I have a call from someone with some power because if you ask to speak to a supervisor nothing happens but a survey and they hang up on you! Good luck getting the car from the repair shop when the put a mechanical lien on my car!! I would have put 0 stars but it wouldn t let me leave a review otherwise!!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU. Tried to make payoff and the bank information was incorrect first time. Mother-in-law called again with print out from bank and they processed payment, she called a few days later after seeing money still hadn't come out and was told PAYMENT WAS SUCCESSFUL. That was a lie, Called back after seeing money was still not taken out and then told her the bank information was incorrect and not only did she have to make the payment but had to pay late fee (even after attempting to pay it multiple times), and a processing fee (even though she was told it was successful). Talked to supervisor who demeaned her and essentially blamed the situation on her and told her she wasn't doing her part checking her account. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER FROM SUPERVISOR. Don't blame someone when THEY are admitting fault for it the first time, but shame on you for talking down to someone who was actively calling after seeing money hadn't came out of the account. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.

Like everyone else has stated, tbis is probably THE WORST company to get a car loan through. Due to the pandemic, I lost my job at the end of May. I have been blessed to be able to continue making my payments on time up until rhis month. Thankfully I just received a job offer but dont start until the end of the month. All I asked of them was for a 1 month extension due to the pandemic situation. They told me they weren't doing any more extensions. The fact that they are the ONLY finance company that won't work with their customers while America is hurting bad, is so disgusting. As soon as I start my new job I will immediately start looking to refinance. I don't even care if I have to pay more on my monthly payments. I just don't want to do business with a company that can't even work with their customers during a pandemic. I gues they will.have a ton of repos to try to get rid of when it's all said and done. I would stay far away from this company. You are better off dealing with a buy here pay here financing situation. That's exactly how they operate here... with zero compassion or grace.
I called just to move my payment date for the first time ever on this loan. I was told that the date could not be moved because this company has blocked date of 17-the end the month. If you are purchasing anything do not us this company, its not worth it or the hassel try another company. I had already made my payment when the rep told me that a payment was due. I told him my payment was already made and guess what!!!! he gave me my confimation. I said that to say he saw the payment. I will score this company a 1 over all.
I have been working with DeNell Maxwell and I must say he has been an absolute pleasure to work with!!! It s very refreshing to work with someone so knowledgeable and client focused. As long as I can continue to work with him or employees that share his same values Westlake will definitely have my business.

Dealt with Westlake Financial concerning the repayment of a loan for a vehicle I had purchased earlier this year --- the experience was painless, efficient and totally professional from the signing of the original document, through the month to month payments and finally to the final payment and disabling of the auto-pay feature when the account was closed. I would like to specifically put in a good word for the help desk staff member Leonardo Rodriguez who was extremely helpful and pleasant in answering all of the questions I had concerning the final payment and closing of the account. Overall the experience was a good one and greatly appreciated.
I have been working with WestLake for about 5 months now and i am very disappointed with the way i have been treated and cared for thus far. They are constantly making mistakes with my automated payment as i am frequently charged twice in a single month. Also i have spoken with multiple customer service representatives and they hardly speak English and are very difficult to understand. I will not ever go through these guys again if i even finish this loan with them. And the reps are liars and do not take care of any of the issues i have called about

In the middle of a very tough divorce, both of my vehicles stopped working. During this period, I financed a SUV with Westlake. They were wonderful to work with. My overall experience was excellent. They are HIGHLY recommended.

I've always been very happy with this company. I am always treated respectfully and they really go the extra mile to make sure their customers are satisfied and taken care of. Anthony G., has been awesome and has taken the time to really handle my situations and requests. I would highly recommend this financial institution, and plan to do business with them in the future because they truly make you feel like a VALUED customer.
I am grateful to them:) They sold me a car when noone else would. I may run late with the payment but they seem to know they will get it and THEY COLLECTING THE LATE FEES The interest rate is outrageous but refinancing is always a future option. At least, for today.... I got the cutest little red car to get my kids to school and back safely (and anywhere else they need to go). Westlake should have her train and instruct all of the customer service people. I understand they gave me a chance and financed my truck, but goddam...be a day late cause of the way payday falls and the phone is blowing up with rude snotty millennials that have no aspiration of a future. Worst customer service ever!!! I was only with them for 3 months before I realized that I had made a mistake. Paid my car off on full a month later. They send the title to the wrong address and tell me it nothing they can do. Won't even pay the fee for their on mess up. Wish I could rate them less than one star.
I was having some issues making my payment and was denied for a deferment I spoke with Ms Stephanie Hulsey, she was my angel and got it approved for me she is amazing and made me very happy for helping me I was very worried until I spoke with her. She should get employee of the month, year and decade!

Worst service ever I don t believe they are trained. They never update their notes everytime I call it s the Same thing. I always pay with a live operator I don t trust the automated system.. second month In a row that I gave them a routing and tracking number which they entered incorrectly and they charged me an additional $46 instead of checking the calls they blame me and say I used a automated system!

I had to put off my payment due to financial hardship caused by COVID19. I was so scared of losing my car or getting farther behind and Crystal put my mind at ease. Crystal was so helpful I would put 10 stars if I was able because of her outstanding service!
