Clean rooms, however on numerous occasions, VERY inconsistent or lack of service. ESPECIALLY in the bar at VERY quiet times and breakfast. It just keeps getting worse, from housekeeping to room service, bellmen. The food from the kitchen is top notch and so are the front desk staff.
A little loud (I could hear the phone ringing in the next room and people talking in the hall) and no breakfast buffet. But, overall a nice hotel in a good location with friendly and helpful staff. Recommend.
As a regular visitor to Long Beach I always have a great stay at the Westin. The service is always excellent but with my most recent stay, Umar in particular went above and beyond to personally repair some clothing I had damaged - not his normal job!
Rooms and bedding are fantastic and the location is great for the many bars and restaurants at the Marina
this is really different because i call the hotel and they say they have room that i can stay in and then they transfer me to the renovation center and they say they are booked.
i am never going to call then again !
i guess now i have to drive there and check!
Tv broke on first day, fixed on second day, no refridge in room, not even a free breakfast after spending 175.00 a night and 38 bucks a night for parking. All I got was a comfy small room with cucumber water.

This was in great location nice very nice place . Near a lot of attractions only negative was u have to pay for parking!!! But a lot of things to do and best quiet beach walking distance.

What an excellent and amazing hotel with staff that took care of our every need. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone. Great room, great staff, very welcoming and polite. Only thing I could say that was bar was too expensive.

Excellent hotel,surrounding by many importants banks company complex,restaurants,executive bussines center,interteinement,theatre and importants events in Long Beach downtown,also gorgeous shoreline village,Queen Mary,Marina.
I was at Westin Long Beach for a meeting, and the facilities and food were great. The catering staff provided excellent service as well.
Great location. Got a good rate for $100 for one night through hotwire. Parking is $25 a day. 15 minute drive from the World Cruise Center. There is no free Wi-Fi.

I reserved hotel rooms for 3 for 1/1/18 after my wedding.
When we get hotel I was still wearing high her and wedding dress and so tired. As soon as we park front ppl start helping us quickly and we could check in right the way.
I and my husband loved the guy in front desk. His work is really fast and very kind.
Also room was really clean and we got some desserts and champagne as a gift!!!
We loved their service and this hotel is pet friendly!!
Very nice hotel in long Beach. The room was spacious, very clean, and had a large bathroom. Hotel staff was very friendly. This hotel has a small pool, bar and restaurant, gift shop, valet and self parking, and large beautiful lobby. Parking is an additional cost. It took some time to check in even at 9pm because there was a long line and only 2 people working. The common areas of the hotel are freezing cold. This hotel is in a nice part of Long Beach.

Very nice hotel. A/C in my room wasn't working right. They called matinance wasn't able to fix no room change.
My family and I stay there every year, when we attend the convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. We enjoy it every year. The staff is really friendly and inviting. They took great care of us in every way. One of our rooms had an issue, and it was taken care of immediately. And they even gave us a new room and comped us at their restaurant. It is always a pleasure to stay at the Westin Long Beach.
I was not able to make it to my conference. Elena in accounting was great to work with to help me straighten things out. I appreciate the great service.

The lobby offers a comfortable, yet elegant appearance. The atmosphere is classy and also causal. The lobby offers several group and single seating options with laptop power accommodations. The hotel staff are cordial and helpful.

Beautiful location closely located to much in town. Very convenient to the convention center, arena and theater. The views from the rooms are great. The rooms are spacious, clean and everything you need. Prices for rooms vary from inexpensive to ridiculous. Be careful when you book.
I was upgraded and loved the room. The staff at check in was amazing. We had a problem with our reservation, and they solved it immediately.

People - front staff, concierge, bar personnel and wait staff are all very nice and helpful.
Location - short walk to most things in Long Beach and close to the free busses.
Bar - great drinks and service.
Wait staff - very informative and extremely nice and made breakfast really enjoyable.
Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend.

The room looked great when we first went in and every thing stayed that way until we went to sleep. The bed was lumpy and really uncomfortable. The pillows were no better. Me and my girlfriend were tossing and turning all night long. This is why it earned a 2 star for me. The comforter seemed to be really out dated because in a couple spots the cotton inside the comforter was balled up leaving some spots baren. So I'm guessing the pillows and mattress were also in need of an update. If you really think of it the most basic hotels need to have a clean comfortable place to sleep. If the Westin had had a clean comfatable bed and nothing else it would have earned at least a 3 star rating but unfortunately the most basic necessity wasn't met with our stay there.
To end on a positive note the highest available paid internet speed was decent enough for us to stream movies and not have it stop at all. The view of the city was pretty, day and night.
Unfriendly and unhelpful front staff. Old rooms and you have to pay for wifi. Are LA hotels usually this bad as this place had good reviews.

My stay at the Westin was good. And the have free Wi-Fi in the lobby. Which is tight. Besides the workers stroke outside at 7 AM. Everything was in tip top shape here. 10/10 would bang again.

The Westin is clean, fancy, and efficient. Employees in all sectors of the hotel were knowledgeable and ready to help with anything that might have come up.
Rooms were comfortable the the view is hard to beat, especially with an ocean view. I wish the wifi was complementary but that's a small price to pay for such a great place to be at.
Attended a wedding in the Westin and the rooms used for the celebration were elaborate and fitting for such an event. Lighting was great and even the waiting area was comfortable.
I would definitely recommend this place if the price lies within your budget. Their service and facilities are hard to beat for the Long Beach area.

Beautiful, clean, great Central location. Lots of places to eat within walking distance if you didn't want to eat at the hotel every night. Incredibly helpful and knowledgeable staff.
1st room had I broken A/c. Moved rooms. This one smelled like it had been smoked in and after running the A/C for 12 hours straight set st 60 degrees it was barely tolerable in my room. Used to be a nice hotel. Now I d advise you to avoid it.
Update: New stay. Tonight I got in really late, around 1:45 in the room. Woke up to very loud banging from giant 50ft tall jack hammers in the construction zone 1 block away. Hotel not recommended if you want quiet to sleep.
The rooms were good and clean, the view of the convention center was nice. The shower had two heads, the first one was rather weak but the hand held attachment had more power. Could hear people in the hallway getting into their rooms late at night.
No free parking. No complimentary breakfast. Double bed room had small full sized beds which barely had room for two adults.
The ambiance of the lobby, concierge and all the attendant's were excellent. Meeting area was comfortable and well equipped.
Great staff experience. Ok rooms, little dated, but renovation coming in 2019.
