Very clean , didn't have much interaction with the staff but nonetheless the room we had was big and very comfortable

Easily accessable entrance from both driving and public transit. The restaurant fire & oak was great. The server, food and mixed drinks were wonderful. We'll definitely be back

Comfortable, large rooms with high quality beds and coplimentary in room coffee and tea. Some rooms with Manhattan skyline view. Easy to reach from EWR airport and easy to get to Manhattan by PATH train or ferry. Restaurants and shopping mall nearby.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff was friendly. Nice view of the city, but a bit of a walk from the restaurant/bar scene.

Attended the Fred Astaire NY NJ Dance Challenge and it was amazing. The venue was great and the location convenient and clean. Could not ask for more.

Booked the junior suites for the night before my wedding and the rooms were great. I was given the rooms overlooking the NYC skyline and it was perfect. The room had a modern '60s chic look to it which was really nice, think of the show Mad Men but with an updated color scheme. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Everything that I could ask for

The place is great for hanging out and for drinks., Food wise it's ok, nothing special.

Luxurious hotel in Jersey. The room service is expensive, but there is a mall behind the hotel with the usual American food court. A path metro station is 150 meters away within walking distance of the hotel and with a metrocard you drive with the Green Line via Exchange Station directly to Manhattan. Or take the ferry for $ 6, bookable with an app, or pay directly at the pier.

Excellent service. Convenient and close to fine dining, shopping and direct train transit across the Hudson to N.Y. city

Been here for an office party and the Fire and Oak restaurant. Staff is courteous. Easy access... haven't stayed here thought. So no comments about the rooms.

Great spot for a breakfast meeting convenient to EWR

I rate this hotel a 2 star only because of the fairly new premises. The overall customer service during the evening was a "0" star if I can rate her! At all other hotels I've stayed at incidental charges are always $50 yet the woman took it upon herself to put a hold on my credit card for more than what I actually paid for my room. Upon our departure we noticed 2 racist men whispering and giggling amongst themselves while clearly pointing and looking our way, soo unprofessional! Upon speaking to a manager she was useless and of no help or even apologetic! I've stood at plenty more upscale hotels and have had a much more welcoming and friendly atmosphere! They don't call it Jersey Shity for nothing!!!! We Will never book here again!

Great hotel. The room was really clean, the view was great and the valet was fast. Room service was a bit expensive, we failed to look at the service charges until after we paid $70 for 2 burgers and some Mac and Cheese, which is a bit much for cold fries and overdone burgers. We would stay again if for some reason we ever had to go back to Jersey City.

Pleasant atmosphere and the staff was friendly. We loved their "white tea scent".

From our arrival to our departure, the service was superb .. the valet parking took care of us. Very convenient for the kind of weather at the moment. The receptionist was welcoming, prompt and efficient. Our room was on the 20th floor, and the room was clean and comfortable... we ordered room service, the service came faster than expected.. Food was delicious ... bed was heaven ... the checkout at 3pm gave us the opportunity to enjoy more and the checkout was brief and courteous... our car was right by the exit, ready to go... I'm sure coming back to this hotel

I really enjoyed that the lobby smelt fantastic upon entry. Everyone was extremely nice as well.

Great hotel

We were in December 2015 in this hotel. Is very clean the staff is very friendly and lucky enough to have the room on the right side with a fantastic view of the Manhattan skyline. The further one is in 10 minutes in the city.

Terrible attitude at closing very aggressive , we have 60 plus people stopping here the next few nights no attention didn t even know one company has this many people stopping here

Rooms are very clean staff is great, a little pricey but a great place to stay, I would gladly rebook

Our booking included the breakfast, but they denied it, until we had to show them "proof" a screenshot of what it said online while booking for them to honor breakfast. It's quite sad to know that as an SPG member, and a loyal customer, we have to show them proof for something that should have been part of the reservation in the first place! Had we not taken the screenshot, we would have not had the breakfast included! Our rooms wouldn't get cleaned until late afternoon 3-5pm. Not a very common thing especially after calling them and asking them to clean our rooms at 9:30am! I had a long day, came back to find the room wasn't done by 330, so called again then had to step out again for the room to be cleaned.

Nice venue for a conference. Stayed the night. Beds are not very long sadly. A little disappointed that the rooms are kind of pricey but there is no free breakfast.

Parents stayed here for a night when their flight got cancelled. They had a comfortable stay. Great view of Manhattan from the room

Typical Westin. Clean, friendly staff, good ammenties. Only complaint is that they take a while to bring your car for Valet.

The rooms are amazing but the staff 0/0. I had a guest coming so I called reception the lady on the phone was plainly rude and told me if I wanted a guest I need to come down to get them. I was travelling with a toddler alone. How is it possible to leave a little toddler sleeping in the room to go get your guest. Bad bad service.

Great hotel, great service!! Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms clean, nice decorations, and the food is very tasty. Right in the middle of newport downtown with many restaurants in the area.

A basic hotel
First of all, we drove up to the hotel where the valet dude told us either we pay $47 a night or we pay $25 and park ourselves. He never explained that if you park yourself that it s not a Westin parking lot and there s no easy back to the hotel. You will have to drag your luggage in the street and walk back to the hotel. Secondly, as you can see valet is overpriced I mean this is Jersey not a resort or the Caribbean! It takes about 15-20 min to have your car retrieved because they don t own a parking lot and is renting from the mall s lot. Next customer service on the phone on many occasions including the main 800 number was very rude and unprofessional. The hotel lobby is clean and nice looking. The rooms are ok, there s nothing complimentary not even water. The bathroom is nothing great like the website says. The pool is big but just basic. The rooms are overpriced. There s nothing luxury about Thai hotel. To give this hotel a 5 star would take away a lot from a real luxury hotel . I am a traveler and have stayed at many hotels this is definitely not a luxury/5 star hotel. Maybe 3 star charging charging 5 star prices. The best thing about this hotel is it s walking distance maybe 5 min to the mall and 3 min to PATH trains and light rail.

the Weston was beautiful with clean rooms and great staff

This hotel offers a breathtaking view of Manhattan from the rooms. You can enjoy the skyline night view while soaking in a giant freestanding tub. The rooms are gorgeous and immaculately clean. And I like the little bottles of essential oils that they put out in the room. That was a really nice touch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As soon as we arrived, a bellhop loaded all our suitcases and paraphernalia onto a luggage cart and showed us to our room. I could go on and on, but bottom line, we had a wonderful time at the Westin and I highly recommend it!

Great hotel the staff are really nice I enjoyed the stay

Stayed here after wedding at Liberty House. Wasn't the easiest to get to from there, but a great location overall. We had a suite, which was great, and the view was fantastic.

The staff here is very capable and willing to handle any needs, the restaurant is third party but has pretty great food, and the rooms and beds are wonderful

Ate at the restaurant for dinner. Very good food. We were in a large group (rehearsal dinner) so service was a tad slow, but really enjoyed the experience!

Pretty good hotel! Had a work conference there - service and area were spot on. Bar and food was fine. Location in general leaves something to be desired (as would any hotel in this area).
