Chronic problem that ended well. My car spent 3 weeks mostly in the shop and in the end not successfully fixed. However, I was treated very fairly and looked after well, especially by Dimitri and Jason in service and later by Sam (sales manager). They were empathetic and helpful in the face of a frustrating situation. Full marks for how they took care of things.

I bought my Honda Civic from Westgate and it was a wonderful experience! Anya was my sales rep and she was professional and knowledgeable. She helped me obtain my dream car! And 2 months later she is still helping me out with questions. Buying a car there has been such an amazing experience.

Even though I could not find the car I was looking from Westgate (a rare used model), the sales staff was helpful and flexible. Steve Muratcea is the saleperson that helped me, his level of service and attention will leave you feeling taken care of.

price actually higher than the other dealers. and these people are not as nice as other dealerships. I would definitely not recommend this place for purchasing a new car. I went there to try the car, and well I walked out because I would not let this rude person make money off of me.
Try this place for a quote only, and send email or call other dealerships in ontario and you will see so many places with ALOT better price.

Very pleased with Westgate Honda. The sales team is actually willing to work out a deal that is favorable to the customer (thanks Dave Gormandy!) The service department is very professional and friendly. The waiting room is equipped with coffee, popcorn and WiFi for customers. There is also a shuttle service should you rather wait at home for service to be completed on your vehicle (the driver that shuttled me was great to talk to). There is much to like!

Dealt with Westgate for decades (entire family has purchased new and used honda vehicles) until taking CRV in to swap tires Nov 6/20, after which missing H symbol (hole in middle of all 4 tires). Approached company numerous times to remedy. Service manager and parts personnel argumentative, belligerent and personally hostile to any attempts to remedy. Honda Canada Customer Service attempted to resolve. Service Manager did not return Customer Service numerous attempts to contact him. Very surprised and disappointed with the adverse changes to Auto Service at Westgate. I will not use Westgate again or subject myself to Service Dept's aggressive, adversarial posture. Candice (receptionist) was awesome.

Good morning Westgate. Your response is pleasant, for show?, however, you have a problem in service, whether you choose to acknowledge it and manage it, or simply make pleasant meaningless comments. In business actions are meaningful. Pleasantries are just words.

Service Mgr and Parts fellow who simply took a caustic approach. Management should be aware of what's going on in service at the management level and maybe they are. I owned several Canadian Tire stores and always welcomed input that would assist me in running my business.

Rather than making false claims about your efforts to assist (no one contacted me or returned Honda Customer Service after numerous attempts), for your long term best interests ... maybe your service personnel needs some sort of coaching in order to achieve constructive change vs false claims = you have not understood the opportunity to improve your business. I'm not sure why but perhaps that's the root of the issue, for you to figure out and manage, only if you choose to. Westgate Honda is no longer my problem, after being given ample opportunity to respond in a reasonable manner. Perhaps you will make further pleasant comments, however, I have dismissed your business as unacceptable. Thank you.

Chris Oliver was great. He was able to get me in right away and didn't hesitate to let them do some extra work without requiring me to come back for another appointment . He also gave me a loaner car so I wouldn t be late for an appointment. Great service as always.

I went there with a friend to shop a used car for him. The sales rep we spoke to was Eric. Both of us didn't like the way he spoke to us. We felt like they treat immigrants differently than natives. We eventually bought a used Civic from them as we liked the car. On the day of delivery also the experience we had wasn't nice. Nobody attended for a long time even though we had an appointment. We were asked to wait outside in the cold when my friend was signing the papers. Overall a very bad customer experience.

After owning 3 excellent Honda vehicles (a Civic, Odyssey and a CRV), I had a vehicle breakdown (Saturday March 23, London, Ontario). This was the very first occasion I needed to use Roadside Assistance program. Their staff were professional, helpful and caring. There is no doubt that I will be purchasing another Honda vehicle again. Thank-you ! Kevin and the rest of the Service Staff at Westgate Honda were outstanding in arranging a temporary rental while my vehicle was being repaired. Would highly recommend !

I had gone in to have the breaks checked as it was...

I had gone in to have the breaks checked as it was making noises and since I was directed a few months from a previous tech, I took the car in for follow up. This is covered under warranty and I also called in advance to confirm. However, when I got there, the tech was more concerned with charging me than actually looking at the vehicle. He argued with me saying "what if" scenerios and trying to get me to sign the paperwork for the labour when in fact the car is under warranty!!

I had also called about and informed him in person that the car seems to be swerving to one side, but wanted to make sure if it's an alignment issue or something else - since I'm no expert - he wanted to charge me 160$ for that. I don't even know if that's the issue, and his colleague even told him that it should be checked and if under warranty they can fix it. I asked if they can check that so I know. His response was if I'm not willing to sign to agree to pay prior to having the car inspected, he took the pen and crossed it off entirely off from the list of issues to be looked into. This tech was just trying to charge me for anything and everything possible even if the car is under warranty - maybe because I came in alone as a single female, he thought he can pull a fast one.

But I will say this, I will never go back. I bought my Honda there and will never buy a single car from that dealership again.

I dealt with Chris, who was great! Super personable, and profession. The service team was able to have my car in within a day, and the work done was very fast. The shuttle was convenient and the driver was pleasant.
Will be returning to do business with these fine folks again!

The team at Westgate has always treated us well. It's great when the Service Department knows you by name, and the Sales Team provides us with knowledgeable and professional courtesy. HUMILIATED. I went to purchase 2019 Honda Civic 2 days ago. The sales agent David was really nice and polite and provided all the information I asked for. Later, the Sales Manager Jeff came to our table to close the deal and he spoke in a extremely rude and inappropriate way. He Literally said this to me "I have a car, you don't have anything. It is upon me to sell you the car or not" Those words just shook me off the table. I would never visit that dealer again. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

I took my 2008 CR-V in to have the glass in the passenger mirror replaced. It had been replaced before and just broke again on its own. When they looked at the mirror they never even hesitated in replacing it no charge. When a got the car back it had been washed and the check tire pressure lite was off. I checked when I got home and they had inflated the tire that had lost a bit of air. They did not have to do those extras but they did. That's what I call great service.

overpriced overpriced overpriced. NO loyalty incentives to continue using their services when you buy car and buy winter tires on rims. I am at my wits end. In a business where there is SO MUCH ROOM for improvement, they don't budge!
I will after this season just under $100 a SEASON, that's just under $200 annually, to store and install seasonal tires to winter then vise-versa.

Staff always excellent. My only gripe is their last ditch effort to get more money out of customers when it comes time to pay. On 2 occasions for simple service work, the end price has been 10-15% more than the quoted price over the phone. We are talking about simple replacement parts here like a head light, a sun visor etc.

The WORST experience ever. Never Ever Ever I would go back to that dealer. I went to buy a used car. It was my first car. After crossing numbers at home I found that for me it was better to buy a new one, instead of financing the old one. They didn't like that. And they started calling me and leaving messages that we had to deal now with lawyers and that the car was ready for me for pick up. Knowing that I didn't even provide my bank information and social. Only put $300 to hold the car. I knew I was in my right to decide if I didn't want the car anymore. Still They tried to force me to buy the old car intimidating me. I told them that at that point I didn't want the car anymore. I was feeling used and that they only care about the money. Instead of understanding what I was considering the best option for me. At this time they still has the $300 dollars I left for deposit they never returned. They hang up the phone on me when I ask them to please return my money. That showed me the kind of people I was dealing with... Very disrespectful people. Very sad because my family and I we love HONDA cars but sadly this was my worst experience in trying to buy my first car.

Took my Honda CRV to Westgate Honda today as I had a Transmission service done about two months ago and in the process of this the under engine splash guard was broken and I did not notice this until I arrived home.
I called them to explain what happened and they were happy to correct the problem.
I took my car there this morning and the problem was repaired with a new part and done very quickly at no cost.
They exceeded my expectations.

I find Westgate Honda staff to be both helpful and knowledgeable. My service advisor (Chris) fitted me in for a leaky tire. It was fixed much more quickly than I had expected. Thank you, Chris. The COVID measures also made me feel safe and confident.

For the second time, I have been told different information from the one given while leasing the car. I have been told that tier storage is free for one year but during my last visit they have charged me for the storage and told me that it is only free for the first time!! (not for the first year)

Had a great experience with their service departme...

Had a great experience with their service department. Had an issue with my 2nd gear slipping out at low RPMs, I told them I thought it was my 2nd gear synchro slipping out, and just hours later they confirmed that I was correct and that was exactly what the issue was.
Another local Honda dealership was completely unable to do this and constantly tried up-selling diagnostic and other irrelevant and unnecessary services. Never taking any of my cars there again.

Westgate Honda repaired both my 2nd and 1st gear synchros under my extended warranty without charging me a penny. The car s 6 speed manual transmission shifts like a dream now.

Not once did I feel like I was being lied to or misled; and not once did Westgate try upselling me any other services. They fixed my problem and gave my car back; simple as that.

I will be coming back for repeat business!

Went in to look at a used Civic. Joel was excellent and extremely personable. No pressure put on the customer to buy, nor did he try to get me to look at other models or to buy new and finance. The whole experience was a pleasure and I would recommend Westgate to anyone looking for a Honda.

Our delivery went well, in fact the whole process went well. Together, we have purchased countless vehicles, from a variety of domestic and import dealerships, both in London and elsewhere, and our experience at Westgate Honda ranks highly. We found our salesperson Greg to be personable and easy to deal with. We spent most of a day, off and on, working on putting this deal together. This gave us a chance to observe the activity in your dealership, and it is one of the busiest we have ever been in. All of your staff seem to work well together, and there is a very positive vibe felt throughout. We would definitely recommend your dealership and Greg in particular.

I had to have some warranty work done on my 2016 H...

I had to have some warranty work done on my 2016 HRV on June 3. It was estimated to be a 2.5 hr job but it ended up taking slightly more than a day due to some unforseen complications. The service staff were very helpful. They explained problem and lent me a car to prevent further inconvenience. My vehicle was ready promptly on June 4 and the performance seems to be better than ever. It was a costly job for them / Honda as it was warranty work but the service team made sure it was done correctly, efficiently and with utmost courtesy.

I haven't had experience with Westgate Honda previously. But I just had to go in for a recall , which I thought would be an inconvenience. When I arrived I was told it would be an hour, and they finished in 20 minutes. Very pleasantly surprised. The whole process was very simple and efficient.

On Saturday, I dropped by Honda service for slightly deflated tire. They took a look without an appointment and said it s minor pressure lost, they are not too concern, and inflated the tire.
On Monday morning I got a completely flat tire.
CAA guy found a nail by just touching around the tire.. I do appreciate that they did take a look without any appointment but very disappointed with Result..

Extended Warranty is a scam. $2,000 and it doesn't even cover things like a prematurely exploded Shock. 2017 Civic with an exploded shock? Yeah, sounds like it should be covered- but isn't. Dealership recommended I re-read the extended warranty coverage -- THAT is the kind of response you might expect with a Westgate Honda Honda. If you're wondering, a prematurely exploded shock (ONE) would cost you $350 plus tax. They didn't even recommend replacing them both (which is best practice). Unhappy? Yeah. Disappointed? Even moreso.

I have taken my car there for the same problem 5 t...

I have taken my car there for the same problem 5 times , I know it s the starter and I have zero training with cars . The second last time I took it in (still under warrantee ) they used over half a tank of gas trying to figure out what was wrong then sent it back with me on a completely empty tank saying they didn t know the problem . I took it somewhere else and they told me surprise surprise , it s the starter . So I take it back to Westgate (I assume I still have warrentee) where they had it for the entire day and said it would be fixed . 8 hours later I pick it up , they inform me it s the starter and I will need to bring it back the next day to fix it ..... the 5th time I m still not fixed ...oh also my warrantee just ended so even though I brought it in all those other times with the same noise and same problem , I now have to pay for it out of warrentee , the incompetence I have dealt with was laughable . I would recommend taking your vehicle else where , anywhere else where the workers know how cars work .

I have bought a 2017 Touring Honda Civic from this dealership. I've had to bring in the vehicle for oil change etc and I do admit I've had some issues when dealing with the service guys. But the only thing that keeps me going to this dealership is the AMAZING customer service from DAVE ROBBINS. Not only has he been professional, kind and listened to the issues I've encountered; but he has taken the extra steps in ensuring that those issues were resolved and has gone above and beyond. I would highly recommend this dealership, in particular DAVE ROBBINS, as he is an exemplary individual of what it means to be a great manager and how to treat customers. For any future Honda purchases I make, I will be sure to make it from this dealership. Thank you again Dave for all your efforts, it's much appreciated!

Absolute criminals (in service department at the very least). It is scary how many good reviews these guys get. People who go here like to spend waaaay more money than they should. I took a used Honda in for potential break work and Westgate gave me an estimate for $1950. I got it done elsewhere for $200 (from the ex head of service they used to have at Westgate, who left because of how dishonest these people are). That repair work lasted the life of the car until one of the bars rusted out after 18 years. These guys will try to rob you of your money, if you are ignorant about the costs of car work. Don't let them. I wish I could give them 0 stars, or really some amount of negative stars. SHAME ON YOU WESTGATE, you are criminals committing fraud.

Service department tells you you need totally unne...

Service department tells you you need totally unnecessary repairs. Was told I needed all 4 front links/bushings for my Accord. Cost would have been $650 for front and $335 for rear. As well a front exhaust pipe spring bolt and gasket was "urgent" or catalytic converter would fall off. I unfortunately had this done at a cost of $267.

Took car to independent Honda specialist (a former Westgate mechanic who now owns his own shop) took me out under the car and showed me the passenger front link was indeed broken. Said the other 3 were fine. The cost was $126.00 as opposed to $985.00. When I told him about the exhaust repair, he told me had there been a problem with the exhaust I would have heard it , which I did not and that there is more than 1 support so the converter would never fall off. I paid for work not needed.

Like all dealers, they never let you in the garage to show you what you need but keep you in the comfy waiting room eating popcorn and playing with your phone while they drum up costly and unnecessary repairs.

Get a second opinion from an independent Honda specialist and save money.

Very bad experience as a customer who has done all his maintenance check and oil change services over there since I bought my Honda Civic more than two years ago. I had a visit to get some more information to buy my lease agreement out. I am really disappointed the way I was treated by the finance adviser over there. Instead of describing my case thoroughly, he got my lease agreement and headed to his office and came back with a number that was written on the back of my lease agreement!!!!!!! When I asked for more information I was told several times that I could get my job done in any other places!!!!! Very nice customer service!!!!!!!
