Rodney went above and beyond to help my husband and I pull off a birthday surprise for my daughter . Despite the deal being already made he went into actor mode and spent 3 hours with us doing a mock deal with our daughter and showed her the different models and comparisons of each . He answered her questions and concerns with effort and passion. He printed a fake signature page to secure the deal . Just as he was sending her on her way to come back on another day he intercepted us as we were getting into our car and asked her to come see some features of a car on the lot . We walked around the corner of the dealership following him and there bright and shiny was her new car with a big red bow! Rodney thank you for the excellent service and great memory for our daughter on her 18th birthday . You are one in a million .

I encountered some sudden engine issues with my Civic on the weekend and urgently needed assistance as the car was no longer drivable. Chris was kind enough to take the car in even though they were fully booked. The issue was quickly diagnosed and he was even able to save me a few bucks on the repair quote. Great service. Excellent service at Westgate! They treated my 201...

Excellent service at Westgate! They treated my 2014 Civic with the level of service I would expect at Audi or BMW. Service was quick and professional. My car came out extremely clean from their on-site wash, especially after driving 3,000 + KMs from Nova Scotia. Waiting room was spotless, lots of teas and coffees to choose from as well. Bathroom looked like it was from a 5 star hotel. Thank you again Westgate and employees!

Greatest experience at this dealership and Moustap...

Greatest experience at this dealership and Moustapha is the reason for that. He has helped many of my family members for the last 6 years on purchasing vehicles and has provided exceptional customer service. I cant thank him enough for the care he has provided to us and following up on a regular to make sure we are all happy with our purchases. Anyone looking to buy a Honda .... Did not find the sales person that was assigned to...

Did not find the sales person that was assigned to me to be a good personality fit. Went in looking for a car and had to endure a long sales pitch that was irrelevant to the car. The sales person talk a lot about himself and his family while not being knowledgable on the cars. He did not know the difference between the different honda civic trims and when I asked to see a civic touring he showed me an accord touring by mistake. I don t understand how someone can work at a Honda dealership but do not know the difference between a civic and an accord.

I just want to say that this is one experience with one sales representative. Some of the others seemed very knowledgeable, but when I hinted I wanted to be reassigned someone no one took me up on that.

Worst customer service parsons I got today in my life. He is refusing to to give me ride back home.
My house is very close to Honda service centre.
Maybe 2km.
I am very disappointed with this.
I don't argue with him front of many people!!!!
Hope management will follow up this.
Hope we will get better service in future!!!!!

Absolute criminals (in service department at the very least). It is scary how many good reviews these guys get. People who go here like to spend waaaay more money than they should. I took a used Honda in for potential break work and Westgate gave me an estimate for $1950. I got it done elsewhere for $200 (from the ex head of service they used to have at Westgate, who left because of how dishonest these people are). That repair work lasted the life of the car until one of the bars rusted out after 18 years. These guys will try to rob you of your money, if you are ignorant about the costs of car work. Don't let them. I wish I could give them 0 stars, or really some amount of negative stars. SHAME ON YOU WESTGATE, you are criminals committing fraud.

Had another absolutely fabulous experience at Westgate Honda! The service staff are always polite and friendly, efficient and good at listening to everything you have to say. They explain what has been done to the vehicle thoroughly and do not oversell any of their services. The guys doing the service are very patient and look and re-look at things when you ask them to and help you leave the dealership with confidence that all is well. And the shuttle drivers are fabulous drivers (I get car sick and never felt unwell for even a second) and are always at the ready! They are my "go to" dealership!!!

Westgate Honda was willing to work with the customer towards a good price, and we made a deal in under and hour. Nice to avoid the typical bs that you see at most dealers.

Not only was I able to get prompt weekday service at Westgate after having needed Roadside Assistance for a flat tire on a holiday weekend Sunday, the team there also noted a problem with a second tire - and repaired that too!
Westgate - and Jayne Boersma's TLC - continue to be my "go-to's".

Horrible experience with nasty shuttle driver. Fir...

Horrible experience with nasty shuttle driver. First time dealing with Westgate Honda today. I arranged for the shuttle to collect me at a certain time this afternoon after work, and arrived downstairs 10 minutes early to wait. I received a call at that time from someone from I assume the dealership (? still not entirely sure, it wasn't clear and they didn't introduce themselves), who told me the shuttle was running late and they would be by 10 minutes later to collect me.

I sat down to wait and kept my phone handy so I would be ready for the 'pick up' call. About 15 minutes later, an angry man arrived outside the security doors at work and starts picking up and hanging up the security phone, but not actually speaking into it. Pick up, hang up, repeat. The security guard accompanied me to the door where we figured out it was the shuttle driver. The driver turned around and walked away without introducing himself. At this point, if it wasn't for the fact I'd seen 'Honda' on his shirt, I probably wouldn't have gotten into the vehicle. He did not introduce himself at all. He drove very fast and complained to the other passengers. When we arrived at the Honda dealership, I received a series of voicemail messages on my phone (some from the dealership, some I think from the shuttle driver?) that sounded like someone had been trying to reach me while I was waiting earlier and that they were going to cancel the shuttle if I didn't show up. I'm wondering if these were sent while I was waiting for the 'late' shuttle. I'm guessing the voicemails were delayed going through to my phone.

If the driver had come to the front door of the building (and spoken to the security guard when he arrived instead of picking up the phone and hanging it up again), this would have been cleared up immediately.

It wasn't very nice getting angry, near-abusive voicemails from the shuttle driver (who I still couldn't understand), and the dealership, complaining about me being 'late' when I was waiting for them at the front door. I hope I never have to deal with them again. I tried to call the dealership's service manager when I got home, but they were gone. The receptionist I spoke with confirmed they usually leave between 3:30-4:30pm.

I hope I never have to go back to this dealership again. I've dealt with a number of Honda dealerships from across Canada (I travel), and as a woman this particular experience was borderline frightening at times. Definitely the worst I've ever had from Honda.

Westgate was spot on today. Taking care of my car like it was their own. Timely, courteous and knowledgeable staff to put my mind at ease. Coffee, free wifi and a fresh newspaper...very comforting.

Booked service one week in advance for recall fix....

Booked service one week in advance for recall fix. Turns out there were multiple recalls noted, yet I had one letter only. They never ordered parts in advance and kept my truck overnight unexpectedly. Poor planning, but typical of car dealers. Told me a 2 hr wait, instead it took almost 2 days because of their inefficiency.

I've been a customer to this dealership for a long...

I've been a customer to this dealership for a long time now. Two purchases and all their services since 2012.
My sales experiences have been great. Both vehicles were delivered on time, arguably for the second one, odyssey, because I had to compromise on colour, but whatever.

Service experience started good in the early 2012 until 14 and started getting bad after that. Both service "experience" and Service quality have NOT been great.

My Civic had a few replacements needed related to a sensor in the seatbelt, it took them a few attempts to fix it, only to reoccur again within a year. And, sadly for the second time, they made me pay for it, $300 or so. (Correction: Dealership offered a 50% compensation on it).

My last two service appointments for Odyssey have been disappointing in terms of delivery time, I've waited there a huge deal of hours. One of them was estimated to take 45 minutes, but it took a couple hours. Another, the one that was supposed to take 30 or so for the winter tire, took a few hours. Reason they gave me was, "for some reason, the tire kit that I ordered wasn't at the dealership (never happened before according to them) and they had to adjust someone elses kit for me". This is after ordering a winter tire package weeks early and going there after they call me.

My take away is, they don't care for YOU going for service there, they have enough customers.

Ironically, I keep going there because the other dealership is way too far. I'll give this winter tire visit a try as a last luck test .

Never meant this review to be a way to resolve specifics, but just because you brought them up and hence some one might read, here're some details about specifics referred in your response:

About the $300 paid by warranty: You don't seem to have all the records. At the appointment on 22-Sep-2015 the rep said it is covered under warranty. However, I received a call on 23rd saying that Honda did not honour that warranty claim and I have to pay. The rep mentioned, as an apology from the dealership, I'm on the hook for only 50% of the cost.

I had to check back my credit card statements to make sure I'm not wrong, and will be happy to provide you a copy if you like. If you didn't want to mention it in you response to look good, or didn't notice it, thats ok, but If you are missing this in your records, please audit. Hope not, but you may have some fraud going on there :).

About the the delay on winter tire, I stand corrected that it was not few hours, but only 90 minutes for what was supposed to be 30. You are right, I was out before 8:30 (someone did work late that day). I remember this because I had to see my realtor at that time and I messaged him at 7:54 that I'm at dealership and running late. I still do have my iMessage, happy to share you the screen shot if you like.

As I mentioned, your response made me feel that you are looking into resolving these in general and Thank You once again for that.

Seriously it was an worst experience ever I faced. Hilarious customer service and even they used abusing word to me. First of all, I booked my appointment for 2 problem and they given time to me, when I reached there they didn't check my second problem due to short time. Car wash is down for complimentary services. At the last, he said we didn't invite you to come here.

I bought my Brand new Honda Civic from Westgate Honda, it was a very good and easy experience. I dealt with Omar who was very friendly and made me feel like he cared and had my interest top of mind. Ive had bad experiences in the past at car dealerships but Westgate Honda has changed my mind about dealerships, from the sales person to the service department. I would and will definitely recommend dealing with Omar and Westgate Honda to my friends and family.

My car's alternator needed replacement, and I had ...

My car's alternator needed replacement, and I had my car towed to Westgate Honda. Fortunately they were able to squeeze me in to fix it, however that was the only positive experience. Since I needed to leave town the next day, I had to get the car fixed asap. I was told the alternator would cost around 350 because it's an original genuine Honda part. I was also told the same for the serpentine belt and charged around 50 for that. I was then charged for 2 hours of labour.

Here is where they took advantage of customers: My father has both a mechanic's license and has fixed cars for over a decade, and also has a mechanical engineer degree and once I drove home, he inspected their "work" and saw this was an aftermarket alternator, and the serpentine belt was also aftermarket/not an original as claimed by the dealers. I called Canadian Tire, and they would have charged $22 for the same serpentine belt, and around $200 for the alternator. To top things off, the standard time to replace an alternator is NOT two hours as they charged. Furthermore, my cellphone showed the time that I gave my key to the dealer because I had called my father to give an update of the estimate, and the time I got called by Honda to get the car. The time between those two calls was a little less than 1.5 hours - and the reality is they would not have started instantaneously when I gave my key to them.

I wrote the manager a letter by mail explaining my frustration with their poor service, and their willingness to take advantage of customers. However, I heard nothing back despite leaving my home number and email on the letter. Instead, many months later, they had the audacity to call and ask if I want to upgrade by trading my Honda for a new one from their dealership.

I was impressed from the moment I walked in to the...

I was impressed from the moment I walked in to the minute I walked out. I was greeted inside the dealership, not in a garage, by the service advisor that I spoke with on the phone. He took my vehicle in right away...no waiting....imagine that!!!
Then after he found and fixed the issue he came right out to talk to me. I felt respected in that he spoke to me, not down to me.
I recommend this dealership highly and I will definitely be returning.

I had to have service done to my car so I came to West gate Honda to have it addressed. They did a good, quick job and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that they charged me a lot less than I was initially quoted. Overall, it was a good experience. Another guest brought their pup with them and it made the 40 minute way for the service a pleasure.

Teena and I are the owner's of a new 2018 Civic. We booked an appointment in early October to buy winter tires , picked up November 16. I took the day off work to get this done . The service guy was going to send me home with just signing a paper . Lucky i am honest and said don't i need to pay ? Get home wrong tire size ! Phoned and they tried to convince me to keep these wrong size of tires . Even though Honda website says to install only OE size. Now i'm just getting the run around , i'm expected to bring them back . When will i get them ? they keep pushing the date back. Its been over a week! Shouldn't we be a priority since they made the mistake. We are not impressed!! and honestly probably will not return for service or purchase again from there.

Had a great buying experience and not once did we feel like we were being taken advantage of. It should be noted however that getting in touch with the service department is hit or miss. No one answers the phone and even voicemails left result in no callbacks. I've had to get my vehicle serviced elsewhere because I can't be bothered to call every hour and hope that someone picks up the phone in the service department.

Westgate is the atypical Honda dealer. They re hum...

Westgate is the atypical Honda dealer. They re humble, down-to-earth, straight-forward. They don t have the typical air of smugness you find at most Honda dealers.

Recently I was dealing with them on service for my wife s van. The initial assessment came back with a lot more $ s than I expected. The service tech (Kevin) was super helpful, empathetic around the $ s and really explained things to me in layman s terms. Given the $ s, I price checked with other dealers and aftermarket and found they were very competitive.

What I liked most was the way they handled it. You just don t find that much anymore.

I would highly recommend.

Ended up having my car there for 5 days parts replaced without asking and not even a courtesy call on the 5th day to update me worst customer service ever experienced will never take my car near this place or would ever refer someone to go there. Ask for an oil change they ll tell you they need 700 dollars labour bc they have to drop the engine lmao. And then when I lose my mind I m the bad guy? Clowns.

The recall on my 2018 CRV was to modify software due to a problem owners are having with fuel getting into the lube oil. Overly diluted engine oil may cause a variety of problems the worst of them being abnormal noise from the engine oil camshaft due to wear caused by freezing of the rocker arm roller bearings. It's clearly stated in my recall notice that my engine oil will be replaced FREE-OF-CHARGE to remove any excessive fuel or moisture, which may have accumulated in the engine oil. When I made my appointment I was told that I would be charged for an oil change. I said at that time that I had been to told my oil changes were free for the first two years. The employee booking m,y appointment said that would be determined when I bring in my car. Again when I brought in my car I was told that they needed to replace some of my oil and I should get an oil change and would be given a discounted price. I repeated that I had been told that my oil changes would be free for the first two years. It is this kind of treatment that makes me feel that I have to be extra vigilant when dealing with these guys as they are trying to take me for service charges that are covered by either their offer of free oil changes for two years or what is stated in the recall notice. Their service reps need to be made aware that recall work is done at no charge to the customer if they expect 10/10 ratings fro their customers!!! I don't understand why they risk damaging customer relations like this for the cost of an oil change. This problem of fuel getting into the engine oil is a huge treat to the reputation Honda has built for their vehicles. They should be bending over backwards to make amends to those customers who bought CRV's that have this problem.

Relied on this dealership to change the alternator...

Relied on this dealership to change the alternator on my 2007 Fit. After towing the car there, the alternator price was $400 - $150 higher than any retail price I've found for my make and model. When I contacted the customer support email I received no response after 3 weeks. Poor service and astronomical pricing. Stay away!

EDIT: The "response from owner" below is a lie. I have received no contact from the sales manager or any other staff. No contact through phone, email or text.

Even though i live next door to London Honda..have never thought about going thrre for anything...I just come here. Service staff is very friendly and helpful. They will make you understand what's going on with car as well what needs to be done. I have never seen them pushing for anything. Excellent service. Thank you so much Westagte Honda.

My friend visited this place today and his experie...

My friend visited this place today and his experience was horrible. He went to this car dealership and asked for a test drive and these guys refused and told him to make a deposit and book the car before driving. How can anyone book the car without even driving it? He was refused to get a test drive and then he called higher authorities and they told him to leave for no reason. I wouldn't suggest any of you to buy from this dealership as they treat customers with worst customer service. The sales agent was Joe dafonseca. Just to let you know, this is not how you do business and treat customers.

My mom bought a Civic from Westgate many years ago...

My mom bought a Civic from Westgate many years ago. She then had a catastrophic car accident. We were told that the fact that she was in a Civic is what saved her life. So, with that, when I needed a new car, I naturally purchased my brand new 2017 Honda Civic at none other than Westgate last November. They were UNBELIEVABLY awesome. They took care of me and my car issues as if we have been their customers for years. They have consistently made me feel like I'm #1 and as a result, they have made us a loyal Honda family. Thank you Westgate Honda! I am not related to anyone there and have no gains for saying this but if you're looking for a Honda, go to Westgate. You won't regret it. Cheers!

Pilot is great; second vehicle we purchased here. Fair price. Treatment was disappointing, once the deal closed there is little concern with helping you out; not that I think this is unique to this dealer. Took over a month to get my ownership, after they screwed up the paperwork several times they told me to go get a replacement myself. Surprised anyone would treat a customer this way.
