Overall customer experience was good, but the white ppl are very prejudice

This is for the Floral Department at Wegmans. My husband and I were married on April 21, 2017. I visited the floral department in Wegmans on Lyell Avenue a couple months before my wedding to discuss my bridal bouquet. At first, the floral department was easy to work with. The manager and I talked through my color scheme and looked at different flowers and together we came up with the perfect arrangement for my bouquet. The manager arranged for me to pick up my bouquet on the morning of my wedding and she informed me that my bouquet would be prepared the night before. It was a smooth process...until the actual wedding day. On the morning of my wedding, two of my bridesmaids went to Wegmans on Lyell Ave to pick up my bouquet and they were informed that the flowers I had picked out with the manager were no longer available. My bridesmaids called me with the news and I was so disappointed and I wondered why they hadn t contacted me in advance before the day of the wedding if they realized they wouldn t be able to complete what they promised. That was extremely unprofessional and it put me in a very tight situation because I had to figure out a backup plan over the phone hours before my wedding. In the end, the flowers Wegmans arranged in my new bouquet were nice, but they were very different than our original agreement and the flowers were not very fresh and some of the petals were wilted. To say I was disappointed is an understatement and I cannot confidently recommend the floral department at the Wegmans on Lyell Avenue because of this experience. I hope they demonstrate better service in the future. I wish I could have written this review even sooner for brides who may have used Wegmans floral services since last year, but unfortunately I've been away traveling a lot until now. I hope the Floral Department reviews and improves their services.

I like to shop in and out. Lately it is taking longer to do shopping there what with the restocking of shelves. There is also the rearranging of shelves which make finding items difficult.

Lyell Ave is one of my go to Wegmans stores. Im pretty familiar with the store & I can get in and out rather quickly.

Beautiful store inside,very professional employees and everything is clean and sanatized.All Danny Wegmans stores I've gone too are Great.

This is my go-to grocery store. The staff are always helpful, friendly, and very customer satisfaction oriented. But I never felt the need to post a review until today:

While shopping with my two-year-old twins I noticed that my grocery money had fallen out of my pocket to the tune of $210. A gentleman who was stocking the freezer section instantly jumped into action, as I hurried off retracing my steps, he notified a front-end manager. This manager, Nate, sought me out, took down my info, and assured me he would have AP view camera footage as soon as they came in at noon. He also notified Helping Hands to be on the lookout as well as other employees. I was walking around like a blubbering fool, crying, retracing my steps over and over with my babes, sesrching frantically, not knowing what else to do. I finally decided to go home and wait to hear back. As soon as I got my babes buckled into their carseats, I received a call from Nate saying that my cash had just been turned in! We were able to continue our grocery shopping, and complete our purchase because of the quick action of the first employee (whose name I regretfully didn't get) and Nate's. This is why I shop at Wegman's. Their customer service is like no other. I am extremely grateful to Nate, the other gentleman who helped me, and to whoever the gracious soul was to return my money. I always have a pleasant visit to wegmans. All the employees are so polite and kind.
I found most of what I was looking for ,but do to C19 there were a few items still not there. I hope you get more fresh turmeric roots , i love putting them in my smoothies

Not my favorite Wegmans as it has narrower aisles than others and doesn't shout clean and fresh (Chili location does) but it's still Wegmans which is better than any other option

This store is more convenient but the personal interaction isn't there. I just feel like a shopper than a customer. I don't see any smiles besides from the management, which makes since. I think that the store could use renovations because when a crowd swarms this place, you can barely move.

This store is the best. I will always be a patron of wegmans. The employees are very helpful and professional. The product is fresh and you get your monies worth.

Great customer service and registers are always open to get you on your way home, food prep for reason you dont wanna cook your self.

There is awesome food .very cheap . nice people that work there. In the deliy section nice lady.

I was looking for body fragrance, or some type of cologne. However, I didn't find it. I believe they used to sell fragrances.

I love Wegmans... I went in yesterday and they had the whole beautiful display setup for Valentine's day. The chocolate covered strawberries, the roses displayed everything was set up so nicely as soon as you walked in. You would hope your Valentine will go overboard for your love when they see it...

I've been shopping at Wegmans for 40+ years. It's always a pleasure to shop there. Someone is always there to meet your needs. Everyone who works there is courteous and friendly and the store is organized, well stocked, and clean. I would recommend anyone to shop there.

One of my favorite supermarkets in the U.S. Everything is always fresh no questions asked. Not to mention the customer service

Absolutely hate this wegmans!! I literally go out of my way to shop at a different wegmans for better quality stuff. The grapes are always starting to rot, I can never find a decent watermelon, lunch meat goes bad within a day or 2 and the bread molds immediately. Probably the worst wegmans in rochester. I'll continue to shop at the other wegmans.

Wegmans is One of The Best Grocery Stores Ever Created! Period

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST GROCERY STORE ON EARTH! HANDS DOWN, NO COMPETITION. ANY GROCERS WOULD BE A FOOL TO TRY AND COMPETE. IF ANYTHING OTHER GROCERS SHOULD TRY AND DUPLICATE WHAT WEGMANS DOES!!!!!

Wegmans has been told to be a place for high price but lately there prices are not too bad.

Store was so crowded I didn't want to go in. My husband took half the list and we met at the register. We were in and out in no time!

This is by far my favorite Wegmans to go to love to sit eat and get coffee here and prices are decent enough staff has always been friendly to me the atmosphere is just great, all in all I would highly recommend this Wegmans for all things whether it be grab a bite, coffee or shopping 2 thumbs up

THE ONE, THE ONLY, WEGMAN'S!!! So, Since this is wegmans, it is far superior to any other grocery store chain. Think I'm talkin from my buns? Check Consumer Reports, Wegmans is #1 Nationally. Or at least was, I unfortunately moved out of state, So no Weggys on the Reggy for me :( But visiting for the holiday everything was great as usual.. this location can get quite busy (crowded) however, though with wegmans stellar service they usually manage to keep the lines down. If you read this far, stop by and hot the sandwhich shop. Old fashioned on everything.

I'm usually a fan of Wegmans and this was my 1st time ever ordering from their Asian buffet. I saw the price listed as 10.99 and wound up with an 18 dollar meal. Never again. Would have gotten more bang for my buck at a mom and pop Chinese restaurant.

Everything's expensive. I avoid going there for most of my shopping. But they do have things we need i can't get at other, better places. It's the only reason i shop there.

Wegmans really knows what they are doing. The whole chain of stores is excellent. They have grocery store shopping down to the same science that casinos use to get you to gamble. :)

The fruits and vegetables are fresh and last longer. I save a lot with my shopper card. The store is always clean. They always have someone around that will assist you when needed. Love my Wegmans

Pharmacy has gone down hill. STOP changing things around. Gorgeous the cashier was a very nice sweet young girl. It's time though that the gates wegman gets a make over.

The place to find the perfect pizza dough for my appetizers. I always buy my fresh mozzarella here because it's good and cheaper than most places.

Love wegmans subs and quality of food, prices are bit high but you're paying for the quality of the food.

Wegmans is by far the best grocery store I've ever been to...

I understand that you want to be out on time for the holidays. But that doesn't mean the people you put at the doors have to be rude and obnoxious to the customer. I always thought part off what you were offering was good customer service. Just to be clear I am talking about the store on lyell and Howard. So even though this one is closer to home I will be using the one in Chili for now. Hopefully you can address the one's you had on the doors new years eve, that you can say you are closing without being rude. I also didn't appreciate that they wouldn't allow me to have a cart. Because I have a bad knee and sciatica all it did was made it harder to get what I needed.

Very clean, friendly staff. Please please check the corn before placing it out. I grabbed several with worm marks and half eaten corn kernels.

I like the quality of their prepared foods and fresh produce.
