Alvin Murphy, PA and Dr. Stewart both took time to assess and explain the problems that I have. Instructions given clearly and a plan set for the next step. Truly appreciate that both are so caring and I knew they had my best interest at heart.

Scheduled for MRI at 2pm. Arrived early, I was taken in on time and was out of the facility in less then an hour. Staff is pleasant and helpful .

These are some wonderful people. I work mainly with Shannon, who is super awesome even though he's the torture king!!! Everyone in the facility has been pleasant to work with, from the front desk to the back door!!!

I couldn t hardly walk. Rachel drew fluid off my knee. I can walk better, it s very sore but can walk. The Nurse attending to me was excellent. A REAL Nurse. Hard to find them nowdays. She cared how I was feeling. Other than a lot of pain, they did give me relief until I can see my Dr.

This place is a joke, Went to get my knee looked new it was some kinda tear.Waited 3 hours in room to see Doctor. She came in felt my knee and said yeah you have a bad tear. Then went out to get another doctors opinion. Didn't come back for another hour. Said they wanted to do a MRI. Told me to go sit in waiting room and they would call me up to schedule a date and time for the MRI. After 2 more hours in waiting room my wife goes up and ask them how much longer it would be , they had no ideal who i was or what she was talking about. So they told me they would call me and set up MRI. Needless to say they never called. When I called had to leave message. About 4 hours later lady called and was acting like she didn't have time to talk to me about setting up the MRI. So i told them to forget it. Dont waste your time on these lazy people.

Dr. Eric Parks was great. He diagnosed my problem quickly and did an excellent job with my treatment. I am extremely pleased with the entire staff as a new patient at this practice.

At Watauga Orthropaedics the Doctors and staff are excellent. I recently had knee replacement and could not have ask for better care. Plus, they also have a walk in clinic which is very convenient.

All concerns were listened to with intent. Plan made clear.

I've been going to Watauga Orthopaedics for over 10 years. I've always had great results. All the people at Watauga Orthopaedics are super nice. Best part I like is the doctors are easy to understand and explain everything in simple language.

The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I had to see a doctor and get a procedure done on very short notice and the staff worked with me to get it done in a matter of days when typically it could have taken weeks.

God and Dr. Duncan is the only reason my husband is walking upright! Dr Duncan had to do 2 back surgeries within a couple of years and my husband tells people he is cured. We have recommended them to everyone who has a pain! Wonderful supporting staff also.

Dr. Duncan saw me today. He's on-time, thorough, and compassionate. The entire group at Watauga Orthopedics is 5 star, all the way.

The walk-in care is so convenient. We took our son directly to Watagua Orthopedic for an xray on his wrist. I cannot stress enough how helpful it was to not have to sit through a regular ER or urgent care appointment first! The staff was warm and knowledgeable and they had his xray and casting done within an hour of going back to the exam room. Hopefully we don t need any X-rays again anytime soon, but if we did, I would go to Watagua.

I was a walk-in patient after a holiday on a Monday but they still got me in super quick and I didn't have to wait but 10 minutes on the doctor to check me then they got the medicine to me super quick I was very pleased these are amazing people with a fine running office

We love this office. We didn t love the circumstances for which we were there but we appreciate the longer hours and the walk in clinic here. It s helpful in times of need.

I have only been to Johnson City office a few times so far, but every visit with the JC and Kingsport office has been prompt and great service.

I would definitely recommend coming here for all of your foot/ankle issues. They were extremely nice and professional to me and my ankle is doing so much better!!!! It was a very nice and clean facility. I had to wait in the lobby longer than I wanted to but then again I was in a lot of pain and it probably wasn't as long as it seemed bc once they called me back things went pretty quick. The dr. Nurse came in, took my information, then the dr. came in, ordered a x-ray, and they quickly came and got me for that. Then the dr. Came straight back in with a diagnosis. And game me a shot of steroids. And I left. All the staff were super friendly!

I have been treated with the greatest of respect and have had the best professional care.I had a total knee replacement 2 weeks ago and feel great. Dr.Gill and his team has made an unpleasant but necessary sugery so easy and smooth as possible.Yes you are going to have pain but grit your teeth and do the therapy.I no longer have the terrible inside bone on bone pain .Very much worth the sugery.

The people was kind and understanding and the doctor explain things real good where I knew what he was talking about.

Worst place in the Tri City area. All they care about is getting money. The patient does not come first here. Don t waste your time and hard earned money to throw it away here.

Even though I was late after being held up for 1/2 hour behind a traffic accient ahead of me, these good folks were kind enough to see me anyway. In this day and age this is unheard of.

I've seen 3 different doctors here, and 2 PAs. All were for different reasons. The doctors are great - nice, funny, and know their stuff. Dr. Lord was able to do a surgery that stopped the constant pain in one hand. I would not hesitate to return if I ever need them again. The staff were also top notch!

This is the most organized and friendly group of doctors and staff that I have ever been too! The doctors are world class in their field of service. Their support staff is also extraordinary skilled and efficient. I highly recommend Watauga Orthopeadics!! You will not be sorry you if You select them for help with your Orthopeadic health issues. ( FYI, I am a Retired RN and I m very picky with the expectations I have of doctors and their Offices.)

I was impressed with how quickly I was seen today for a broken bone. There was hardly any wait to get to see the doctor. The staff were very friendly from registration to check out. Each person I interacted w/ today made me feel at ease. I had my X-ray, confirmation of a broken toe, and met with the doctor all in about 45 minutes. I highly recommend this practice for any emergency Orthopaedic needs.

After being in the health care profession for 25+ years . I can tell you from an informed viewpoint . This is one of the best practices in the Tri-Cities . From the check in staff , the nursing staff , and x/ray staff. They are friendly , professional and knowledgeable. Everything they have treated me and I got great results. The wait and treatment time has been great. I was in being seen 5 mins before my appt time. Walk in clinic was really great to utilize also . My husband will be having a hip replacement within the next 2 weeks. He has been evaluated well and we have been informed well. We have a true piece of mind going into surgery. Dr France is very through, great bedside manner and just easy to talk to. His nurse Chris has gone beyond the call of duty in helping us . I would highly recommend this practice if you are ever in need of any orthopaedic care .

I was seen in the Walk In clinic this morning. Very short wait time and excellent treatment. I was very impressed.

I had a total knee replacement on 11/6/17. Dr. Gill was the orthopedic surgeon. I am very pleased with with the outcome of this surgery. Within six weeks I was able to bend my knee to 132 degrees. I feel like I received excellent, skilled care from Dr. Gill. He was courteous and kind. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Gill to anyone needing total knee replacement.

Always have had a pleasant experience at Watauga Orthopaedics. Incredibly timely, friendly, and always reassuring. Dr. Wells and his team were incredibly personable and efficient from taking my history, having imaging, and developing a plan of action around my own schedule. I was a walk-in, and they took me right away which was really nice. Front desk staff went out of their way to be super kind. I was treated very well for the first appointment. I had a male PA and he was amazing. I had hurt my knee pretty badly, but nothing showed up on x-rays. My 3 subsequent visits went poorly. They treated me like I was lying until I demanded an MRI which showed a double tear in my meniscus. They scheduled me for surgery but then proceeded to put me off for months. I guess they decided they didn't want to do my surgery, but didn't seem to want to tell me. Again, in terrible pain for 5 months so I went somewhere else. The new place I went to scheduled my surgery within two weeks, and it went perfectly! I will never come back to this office. The billing clerk was unreasonably rude and if you ever have an MRI here, be prepared to be treated even worse. Inexcusable.

I have been to the walk-in clinic twice for tendinitis in my thumb/wrist. The staff have been exceptional. The injections make life once again tolerable. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

Watauga Orthopaedics goes above and beyond to work quickly and effectively with you medical problems to get you on a care plan. They are very knowledgeable and use up to date technology. I have referred several friends and family there who have also been very happy with the care they received .

I had an appointment this morning with Dr. Kent Lord because of pain in my right (dominant hand) thumb joint. I had seen Dr. Lord previously and he diagnosed arthritis in the thumb joint. Today I received an injection in the joint to relieve the constant pain. Dr. Lord reviewed all of my options with me and we decided on the injection to see how that works before moving forward with more drastic (surgical) options. I really appreciate the time Dr. Lord spent with me checking out my thumb and reviewing my options. I would highly recommend Dr. Lord and Watauga Orthopaedics for all of your orthopaedic needs.

Watauga ortho and staff are friendly and professional. I was very nervous and actually scared about my procedure today. The staff made me feel comfortable which eased my tension and I was able to relax more. The procedure was explained in verbiage a non medical person could understand. It was over and less painful than I expected. I can go to any ortho doctor but continue to come to Watauga because of who they are as people not just medical professionals.

I had went because my PCP sent me over there for back, hip, and knee pain. My first visit to this office was horrible, every one acted as if i was interfering with there day and they were all cold heart, emotionless, poor bed side manner, no one would listen to anything i had to say, the PA was so busy he didn't even stay in the room long enough for me to ask question or even tell him anything. I was there for three hours and i arrived early, hoping to get done on time.
On my second visit there i had to have an MRI done. The guy who was to do the test was a completely ass. He never smiled, not polite, There for i was very uncomfortable in being a room by myself with him. Which set me off on a panic attack. So i refused to do the test and they get got verbal aggressive with me telling me that it will be over 30 days because they are going to have to sedate me, which was a complete lie. He was just being mean. I call my health insurance company and placed a complaint with them and i also reported it to my PCP. Every one needs to know how these people are, We do not deserve to be treated like this especially when your sick or hurt. I will never go to this office ever ever again.

Our son plays soccer for an MLS DA and has not lived in Tennessee full time for over a year. This past summer he was injured training in Atlanta and was told he just bruised his foot by the club trainers. When he returned home for break he was still in pain and we took him to Watauga Orthopedics and had the pleasure of seeing Everett Baker FNP. Everett immediately said that foot looks broke. After a thorough examination and X-rays we found out that what Everett had told us was fact. Our son had broken his foot close to the growth plate. Not only did Everett take care of the problem and walked us through the plan to get him back to playing, he also called and check on our son at home.

Love, love, love Quick Care. I was seen almost immediately. Dr. Duncan did both of my back surgeries, Dr. Stewart replaced my left shoulder joint, and Dr. Akin did both Carpal Tunnel surgeries. Complete success on every one. Great Christian doctors and not afraid (or embarrassed) to show it in their lives and in the office. I give God the praise for sending me to the them, and ask Him to bless their entire organization.

Having just moved from out of state, I was very nervous to find a provider to give my cortisone shots. Normally I would have to wait 2-4 weeks for an appointment while in severe pain, so the availability of a walk in clinic was amazing! Everyone from the registration desk to the nurses and PA were friendly, kind and efficient. I would highly recommend the walk in clinic at Watauga Orthopedics in Johnson City.

Surgery went well and the surgeon and staff were great!

Doctor was thirty minutes to an hour late almost every visit, this is after visiting for a year and getting nothing done until the last month when I got an overpriced surgery that did nothing for my wrist. Still have the problem and probably will my whole life because they can t hire actual doctors. His response after this is I don t know what the problem is . Don t waste your time or money here.

Visiting either location is always a great experience as well as any operation I have had. My only gripe is that it is near impossible to get a human being on the phone

I feel that this office lacks compassion and is only money oriented. Most ortho issues cause problems with work and home so they are very important to be seen by a physician. But I feel like the doctors and the office staff are not very caring and do not seem to worry about the cost to the patient vs the result!

Doctor Wells is a very good Doctor like the guy next door.

The staff here are so courteous and helpful. I am seeing Dr. Eric Parks who is treating my knee problem. His knowledge is exceptional and manner so friendly that I feel very confident with his treatment. I give this group 5 stars and would give them 10 if the scale went higher.
