I had an appointment this morning with Dr. Kent Lord because of pain in my right (dominant hand) thumb joint. I had seen Dr. Lord previously and he diagnosed arthritis in the thumb joint. Today I received an injection in the joint to relieve the constant pain. Dr. Lord reviewed all of my options with me and we decided on the injection to see how that works before moving forward with more drastic (surgical) options. I really appreciate the time Dr. Lord spent with me checking out my thumb and reviewing my options. I would highly recommend Dr. Lord and Watauga Orthopaedics for all of your orthopaedic needs.
