Great hotel, fabulous location, but way too much concrete! I felt as if I was on Broadway and Wall Street in NYC! The front doorman was a little bit over the top, and in your face too often. Front of House staff was excellent, Housekeeping left something to be desired. Great amenities. Restaurants were somewhat sub-par, especially for dinners.

Posh place if you need a lovely lobby to sit in and a break from the middle eastern service out there. Loved the mocktail. However, the waiter said they don't have parve milk for making the drinks, which I found a bit surprising...
A beautiful hotel with top notch service and excellent breakfast buffet. Rooms are lovely as well. Was treated nicely as a Diamond member. Location is perfect, walking distance to the Jaffa gate in the old city. English widely spoken. The only negatives I found were (i) the absurdly small gym which is quite unacceptable for a 5* hotel such as this, and (ii) the attitude of the concierge who could barely be bothered to do his job with a smile and a caring attitude. However even these issues cannot take away from the 5* rating.
We visited Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem in Autumn 2017 and stayed at KING DELUXE BALCONY ROOM. It should be the best renovated high level hotel in Jerusalem, but there is no pool... It's a pity, specially in hot Israel.
I've experienced great service before. But this wasn't just another great experience. The level of service here was "off the charts". An order of magnitude, greater.
The hotel is just perfect .. it's five stars there is no sharing .. But in order to vote for five stars, the restaurants need to be refreshed ... Such a respectable hotel needs restaurants of a higher standard. We understand that a restaurant's kitchen is affected by the hotel's dining room, but in such hotels it must not be noticeable. I still highly recommend to anyone who has not been. Enjoy .. The last dishes level above everything I have ever eaten ..
Which is in the hotel Friday / Saturday. Indeed a place that respects itself. From the luxurious and clean rooms, as well as the varied and pampering food, the highest service ... well worth it!
The hotel appearance and the reconstructions are beautifully made ( I used to visit the same building very often, when it was serving as the Ministry of Trade HQ).
The service of all employees we have encountered was extremely friendly, however, it seemed that some of them were not yet knowledgeable as you might expect from such an acclaimed facility. In this respect, I have to praise the Palace Restaurant manager, Mr. Tim, who made an effort together with the Chef to create special dishes for my wife who is vegan, while we were celebrating our anniversary dinner in the restaurant.
The room we got (Grand DL) was very spacious and in high standards, although, the fact that there are no rooms facing the old city, seems odd, for hotel which is so nearby, while other hotels with similar rates/standards do take advantage of this magnificent view.
As someone who keeps regular training routine, I was surprised from the poor workout/fitness facilities, with no swimming pool (which is a must have in the Israel hot weather), and with such a small and unequipped gym. In this respect, I have to say that the hotel website is misleading, describing specifically a Fitness Center, Fitness options and a Spa.
Another downside I have to point out, is the lack of an Executive Lounge. As a Diamond level member of the Hilton Chain and as a Gold member of the Marriott chain, an Executive lounge is another must have in the top tier venues of these hotels chains.
The overall feeling is that although the hotel has a great potential, it is either lost in the smaller details, or that it is still in the run-up period, and if this is the case, it should be mentioned specifically in the website.
The Waldorf Astoria Hotel Jerusalem is amazingly beautiful in design, in detail, at the luxurious breakfast, and most importantly, the cleanliness, the staff and the warm treatment. In conclusion a great hotel !!!!
We were welcomed today as visitors of this hotel very warmly and charmingly by the porter. Great ambience and very friendly service staff. Better advertising as the nice porter has lived does not work!
Great garden terrace on the 4th floor. The staff is very polite, big variety of cocktails, food is good. Jazz all night and it really made the night perfect.

I entered the hotel in order to eat during the Giro diItalia big start. The restaurant is very welcoming. Service was great and food is very good no matter what we ordered. Prices are high but it's aligned with 5 stars Hotel
We came to spend time in the prestigious restaurant. The place is stunningly beautiful. Full of glory and splendor and indeed very prestigious! We sat down and ordered to eat. The portions were expensive but we were not surprised, we knew it was going to be. The dishes arrived and they are really very small and not exciting. I ordered lamb chops, a couple of small ribs (4 bites to the rib) with some vegetables that was tasty and less smooth. The ribs - one was excellent and the other I tried to eat but was not roasted properly, there was really rubber which made me spit it out. When I called the waiter and showed him half of the rib I spat (as each side has 4 bites), so he took it and put it back for roasting and gave me back the same side !! In addition, I asked him if he could have some more potatoes (because on the menu it said that it was served with potatoes, which actually had a few vegetables I did not like and one single potato and a bottle). He said he would check it and actually did not add any potatoes to me. If they make a mistake that made me spit half of my rib, they would replace me with a rib and would not bring the same one a little more roast. If I ask for another potato, then they will add two more Pieces of potato. It is not expensive raw material ...
Wonderful hotel with really nice preserved architecture! The hotel itself is just amazing from the lobby to the breakfast hall the food is really good. Another plus is that it s just minutes away from the old city and the tram line stations.
Helpful, friendly staff. Immaculate. Wonderful breakfast every morning. Only downside was the fitness center is being renovated so during my stay this week I was limited to a gym in a converted guest room.
Reception was pleasant but we did not get the room reserved we reserved a balcony but it was a Juliette and not a full one. The room was comfortable and the bathroom had a separate shower and bath. Amenities include Ahava products and bottled water. Included was a buffet breakfast which, disturbingly, was tasteless. There were choices for a prepared hot entree. I ordered an omelet which was overcooked and came like a pancake rather than a french omelet and french toast did not use challah but some kind of sandwich bread. Dinner was much better. I ordered lamb osso buco which was not osso buco but tasted very good nevertheless. It was accompanied by roasted root vegetables. My guest had the roasted sea bass which was excellent. The wine list was primarily Israeli wines.
Beautiful hotel, the room was fabulous, location is absolutely great close to the west wall...the only thing this hotel is lacking is SPA... Also breakfast was nice but had better (might be during Shabat it is less great than weekdays)
Another work of art from the Hilton Hotel is amazing and outstanding whether it be the meals or the rooms it is another recommended hotel but keep in mind that the price was right
To be fair, I have not had the privileged of being a guest, but I have attended meetings in their conference rooms and lobbies and must confess to having had my breath taken away by the architecture and art which seems to outdo itself at every turn.
