The harassment that came from the billing departme...

The harassment that came from the billing department once the bill arrived was incredible. The account was cleared in 45 days, and I easily received a dozen calls despite the fact that I was making payments of a thousand dollars every two weeks until my "patient portion" was paid. Once I thought I was finished with my nearly $3,000 bill, they tacked on another $540 because I didn't pay the account within the 30 days they wanted. It was as though I had already been sent to a collections office. When the final payment was made, I continued to receive these calls and was told, "they couldn't find the final payment," even though the money had already cleared my account and had been in theirs for over a week. The hounding by this institution has completely negated any positive experience I could have had with the hospital staff. It's too bad. As though the hospital didn't make enough money on my surgery...just ridiculous.

I don't trust ANY wakemed hospital after what they did to my grandmother. I want to know where these doctors get their training from. Please! please! never take your loved ones , especially the elderly, to this hospital. You may end up losing them forever. RIP Granny.

They treat vets like drug addicts and the doctors very rude and disrespectful they talk down to you like your trash and your inconveniencing them and when you ask them a question they roll their eyes at you and I seen the nurse and doctors making fun of patience and talking about them out loud. The Apex wakemed is even worst I will never bring my family here at all they judge everyone before even talking to them. All around the medical treatment at any wake is horrible and getting worst. When you contact patient rep and tell them what happen nothing changes so why have one. It s no longer about patient care anymore it s all about the money. First of all no one wants to goto the ER but when you go you expect to be treated with care and kindness like if they were taken care of their only family if they were their.

Shane Moseley you should be ashamed of yourself.... you're just bold faced lien! WakeMed is awesome and the staff are the sweetest people you would ever meet. Shane Moseley you better hope you don't meet no one like that, that will treat your father like that because there are people like that. But for you to just come out and lie like that is a disgrace. And for the other lady, this ain't Burger King have it your way. Tell your family to bring you food, I mean you mad cause you didn't get some dang chicken..... WOW, the nerve of you people. Shane, if it was that bad why is he there for not one but TWO MONTHS?

Outrageous costs for care. I have nothing nice to say about Wake Med and their billing department. Not 1 associate was willing to hear me out, I felt like it was going in 1 ear and out the other. I wrote letters and had costs re-evaluated by billing yet not 1 employee noticed the huge coding error Wake Med made. Thankfully, an employee who answered the phone noticed. It only took six months of calling, emailing, and writing to find an employee who could help me. Ridiculous! To top if off, my nurse was inexperienced with drawing blood, she squirted my blood all over me and left a softball sized bruise on my arm.

Very very disappointing experience. I brought my son in for a lesion on his knee, we were being careful due to a pre-existing condition. We waited for 1.5 hours in the lobby, 45 minutes in the room, spent 15 minutes with a nurse (not a doctor) who prescribed some meds, which ended up being the wrong prescription until i reminded him of my son's pre-existing condition. Waited another 45 minutes for the prescriptions...I had to go out and ask the nurse who was sitting back with his legs propped up on the counter socializing with a couple other guys. Finally got my prescription and we left. So the worst part is I got a $1,500 bill ($3,100 before insurance deduction) for this extremely unprofessional, what should have been vet short/routine visit. I tried talking to customer service who could have cared less about our bad experience or the gross overcharge. I'd only come here as a very last resort inn the future.

My 3 year old son has asthma. We were sent to the ED from his pediatrician's office because his oxygen level was so low. By the time we got there, the ED staff had already prepared for him before we got there. We were taken straight back to a room after getting his arm bands. The nurses, MD, and respiratory nurse came straight in and got to work on him. IV, breathing treatments, etc. Everyone seemed to truly care on making my baby feel better and as comfortable as possible. They brought him toys to keep him occupied.

We ended up being admitted into the PICU. Once we were moved, we had a new team of Nurses and Doctors. Amanda, RN and Phyllis, RN. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You two specifically treated my son like he were your own. & provided the absolute, best care ever.

Thank you so much Wake Med. We try to avoid hospitals at all cost but when we have to, we choose Wake Med every time because to us, they are the best

I had my second baby here and I have to say it was so much better than my experience with my first child (at a different hospital). The only major issue was that when I arrived I was minutes from popping her out. I was about crowning in the wheel chair and the front desk lady wouldn't let us in because I couldn't remember my SSN. Like hello, I was in the final moments of labor! I don't even remember how my mom got us past. Otherwise, the nurses were all extremely supportive and attended to all my needs. I even got to go home the next evening. So grateful!

Worst place , people are waiting here without a clue when they will be called . Kids are waiting for hours and hours and any of the staff have doesn't have any idea about where r we in the waiting line . It's a surprise for me that they are not having the waiting list displayed like we see in other places . It will be a night mare if you come here at night . You better tolerate the pain and come next day . Because you are not going to treated immediately.

This place is worst than the VA hospital. Don't ever come here unless you like wasting your time and money. The staff does nothing but sit around on their phones and talk about their favorite nail color. I've had better care in the middle of the desert. Now to even give this hospital a 1 star rating is hard for me to do I would give it less if that was possible. Between the roaches crawling around the constant screaming from all the prisoners of the corrections facility in raleigh and the smell of burnt ass and cigarettes you're most likely to leave with more issues than you came in with. This place is a nightmare and should be shutdown!

Male, 25, Ehlers-Danlos Type 4, uses a cane, has had two strokes, computer scientist, on a lot of medications. Wakes up and stretches and works out and shortly after projectile vomits and drops to the ground in screaming pain. Has had these problems before but not this severe - it keeps getting worse. This hospital keeps calling it "anxiety".

Goes in and is in the most pain he's ever been in in his life. The staff are telling him to stop being in so much pain and that he's not really in pain, that he's scaring his wife, that it's just anxiety. Some nurses are laughing at him. One mumbles faking something something. Originally going to order an x-ray and somehow that's cancelled (he has insurance). Even though he's telling him it's not acid reflux, they order him a GI coctail, no plans to see if it's this hernia that's been a huge problem for years. Someone mispronounces Ehlers-danlos. We know we're screwed. There's not going to be a resolution here. They're then holding him to the bed asking him about insurance and about his deductible. I kid you not. They stick him in a room for a couple hours. He throws up black stuff. They throw it out, nurses laughing. Must not be important. We're told its the pepto bismol he took four days ago.

Compassion and empathy are a couple states over. Not to be found here, it seems. We've never seen hospitals and their staff behave like this. Typically even the worst doctor will take a passing interest in what's going on with a 25 year old screaming in pain. A patient who removes his two inch ingrown toenails like he's taking out the trash. We've only been here a year and a half and we're moving in a month.

When I was in jail at the age of 19, I watched a girl hemorrhage for four days while she had a miscarriage. They kept telling her to stop faking it. She was five months pregnant and she lost the baby. That is the only other time I've seen this type of behavior. I've seen it here at Wake Med now three times. It's not anxiety. It's not in his head.

Great experience with all staff and facility at Wake Med's maternity floor and the NICU. Good signage to direct you to entrance and parking deck. Easy to follow map of hospital grounds was given upon arrival. Security was very nice and pleasant to deal with. Good food in Cafe and nice gift shop, a bonus.

Once again Wakemed is doing what they can to ruin ...

Once again Wakemed is doing what they can to ruin my credit. I have had a payment agreement with them for 2 years and have never missed a payment. Went through getting several customer service reps when they turned it over to collections and got it all cleared up just to have then do it all again.

Their hospital services are over priced, especially if you have insurance and if you don't pay them what they want when they want they will ruin your credit.

Rex has never given me issues and the only reason I went to Wakemed is because it was the an emergency.

If I were to be hit by a car in a Wakemed parking lot I would want to be taken to Rex.

1/21/2020 Update. Even after speaking to them they still cant get their billing straight. I have to call the number and they finally got a "Team Leader" involved. The account is now switched over to another company. No more dealing with Wake Med.

Don't try and do anything through MyChart, its a waste of time.

Be warned, If you have insurance be sure you get all billing arrangements in writing. My recommendation is to go somewhere else. I have never had these issues with Rex or UNC offices.

I'm here at wakeMed Raleigh right now the nurses have no compassion at all and don't know if they didn't feel like there job or just don't want to be here. I came here the 19-20 I left at 5:36 in the am the night time staff was Awesome especially nurse Jennie. She informed me if I wasn't feeling any better not to hesitate to return. I came back the 21 because I still couldn't keep food or drinks down and this time I was spotting due to me being 5 weeks pregnant I was scared and came back immediately. The nurse Nicole had a attitude when my mother in law asked if I would get a IV stand instead of hanging the bag on the back of the door smh. They were too busy chatting up front so I had to carry the IV bag with me to see if I could use the bathroom to urinate the lady was more concerned about me not hold the bag correctly and I explained I never had a IV stand it was hanging on the back of the room door so unprofessional I'm leaving here and going to Rex like I should of went the first time. It's sad that you come here for help and all you receive is attitude like your the problem. I pray my baby is ok bc leave it up to DBay they don't care about you.

Asked staff to change TV channel due to the stress on family member about to have surgery. CNN was on and asked to change to something more neutral like HGTV. News about politics and violence is not what a patient needs to watch or listen to before going into surgery. The same day surgery receptionist advised that the channel could not be hanged or turned off. That is their policy. Guess patients don t come first!!

Took a family member to the hospital there and it ...

Took a family member to the hospital there and it was the first time ever going to that hospital. I lived in NC for about 16 years I am not sure why not. WOW the hospital was pretty and the staff the best I have ever experienced. In the emergency room the cardiologist asked questions of the person I brought in, called and got records from other facilities before running unnecessary tests and asked a lot of pertinent questions. HE was VERY thorough. Everyone I ran into there was great from the desk greeter who gave me a map to show me how to get to the room I was going to (along with highlights and marks so I would not get lost), to the nurses aids, to the wheelchair guy who helped with discharge, to the food staff who brought the trays...just everyone. It must be a great place to work. The person I brought in was there a few days and left a new person. Now to show I am not exaggerating I got on the elevator one day and there were 4 EMT's with a cake and a bunch of smiley face balloons. I said "You must be visiting one of your co-workers" They said no... this was all for a nurse who is always so good to them. They said she is always prepared when they bring a patient in and she makes their job so much easier. So much so they wanted to show their appreciation. WOW. I knew it wasn't just me that felt like that. Wonderful wonderful hospital.

If you have an emergency no matter what time. You will expect an over 1 hour wait. Then when you finally get back here 2 hours later it takes another 2-3 hours just to get a test done and another 3 for results. We got here around 12am finally leaving here 5-7 hours later. So much for "emergency" room. My girlfriend was in alot alot of sharp pain and waited again almost 1-2 hours till we got back and another multiple hours to get any answers.

I would give this hospital 0 stars if I could. I can not express in words how horrific my experience was this morning. I arrived around 10am, I was pretty impressed by how fast everything was going (being from New York), however, they are only so fast because they don't LISTEN. No one communicates here. I answered the same questions 5+ times, and was STILL ignored. I made everyone very aware that I have had Steven Johnson Syndrome in the past, yet they put me on an IV drip of a medication KNOWN to cause this same syndrome. If that isn't bad enough, they hooked me up and LEFT. THANK GOD my husband and mother were with me, to hunt down the nurse who came A FEW MINUTES LATER to take me off of it, then I had to wait another FEW MINUTES before they came back with the benadryl. THIS WOULD HAVE KILLED ME. Let me make that VERY clear. Speaking of the IV, NO ONE EVEN CAME TO LOOK FOR MY VEINS. Three nurses walked in with an ultrasound machine. I asked what it was for, to which I received the response "it's a new way of putting in an IV, makes it easier for people with bad veins so we don't have to stick them more than once." As someone who has been stuck multiple times in the past, I thought this sounded great! They kick my mother and husband out and tell them it will be "about 10 minutes." They get started, the nurse performing inserted the needle. The other 2 nurses are DIRECTING HER. THIS WAS HER FIRST TIME! THEY EXPERIMENTED ON ME WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR PERMISSION! This was a PROCEDURE. They inserted in my forearm, and were describing, in detail, how to push the needle up through my arm. I was getting nauseous, and I verbalized this, MORE THAN ONCE. "I'm going to throw up." I said. "You're doing great!" They replied, every single time. I said "Oh my god!" "OW!" ...No response, I was ignored while they bullshitted with each other. I started crying. Ignored once more. Finally I asked why this was taking so long, and why I didn't get a regular needle as I have gotten in the past, I said this was bordering traumatizing, as I have a phobia of needles. Without asking, they pull it out. I said "SO YOU DIDN'T FINISH?" to which they replied "well, we don't want to traumatize you." AFTER 30 MINUTES OF DIGGING AROUND MY INSIDES, I WOULD HAVE RATHER HAD THEM FINISH THAN CAUSE ME TO GET STUCK, ONCE AGAIN! "You agreed to this" is what they had the nerve to tell me. I WAS NOT INFORMED OF WHAT THIS PROCEDURE WOULD ENTAIL, NOR THAT I WAS BEING EXPERIMENTED ON LIKE A LAB RAT! Miserable, MISERABLE experience and will avoid this hospital AT ALL COSTS!

I gave birth to my daughter at WakeMed Raleigh 5 weeks ago and the experience was wonderful. I had a difficult high-risk pregnancy that culminated in a long induction, extra monitoring and a vacuum assisted delivery. On top of that, my daughter had a few challenges after birth, mainly regulation of her blood sugar. Obviously, this was far from pleasant, but the staff at WakeMed made it as tolerable as possible. All of the doctors, nurses, lactation consultants, food service workers - everybody! - were kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food was decent, and they even sent me home with a delicious pre-made meal complete with sparkling cider and champagne glasses so we wouldn t have to cook our first night at home! A special thank you goes out to my L&D nurses Emily and Angie, one of my postpartum nurses, Amanda, and two of my daughter s newborn nurses, Sam and Kathie. Everybody that I encountered was great, but these ladies all truly went above and beyond to make my experience wonderful and are truly gifted at what they do. Although we are not planning on having any more children ourselves, my husband and I will happily recommend WakeMed Raleigh to anybody and everybody we know who is expecting a child.

I will not be taking my wife back to WakeMed after our disaster and that says a lot considering shes employed there as well, which is a shame cause a few of the nurses she had she couldn't boast about them enough. We then proceeded to meet the "PA" who proved to show he knew NOTHING about obstetrics. He had ZERO knowledge and even admitted it, and rather than consulting someone down to the ED that did he diagnosed her with something he NEVER would have diagnosed her with had he done an ultrasound to make sure there was no distress. But, instead went upon her last one 2 weeks ago and blood work (Which he COULDNT interept admitted again upon in the room especially the QUAN levels) She then met the CHARGE NURSE who proceeded to take her IV out, that was the most horrendous thing ive ever seen being taken out. Instead of holding the cath in place and taking the tape from around it as shes yanking the tape left the cath is coming out of the left too with NO HOLDING IT IN PLACE. My wife looked at her in shock the WHOLE time, and at the end let her know her attitude and mannerism was NOT the wakemed way. Upon calling her OB walking out the door they basically stated the incompetence of the PA not doing an ultrasound to somewhat confirm diagnosis when indeed the next day we found out everything was going wonderfully. Never, and I repeat Never again. She did want to thank the 3 nurses who worked on her but she was so discouraged she didnt get to grab her daisy award sheets for them.

My wife and I came in for tests after an OB appointment on week 37. Went to labor triage, tests were run, decision to induce labor was made. We were in labor triage for 12 hours! My wife's bed was an uncomfortable, generic, stretcher - though triage staff was generally friendly. Finally we got a labor room, the best part. If the whole experience was like that of which we had here, I'd give five stars. The nurse was AWESOME. The room was AWESOME. She gave birth at 9:09PM last night and we're now in the labor recovery room. This room is like a big triage room. Mom is going to be in an uncomfortable bed. Dad will have spartan accommodations. The first chair I got was a broken rocker that rocked a max of 15 degrees FORWARD and did not recline, with an arm that was literally falling off. The replacement chair I got did not rock or recline, and was the most uncomfortable chair ever designed. The "couch" is like a child's play couch, and not nearly wide enough for a full grown man to kick out on. Needless to say I got no sleep last night, and had to leave my wife and infant son to get some rest. My wife's food is horrible, and that's the last thing you want to do to a girl who just gave birth and has not eaten in 36 hours. Asked for a crispy chicken sandwich for her first meal after labor, got grilled chicken. Asked for rotisserie chicken for her second meal, got baked chicken. To quote her, "it is like the menu is a trick being played on me". The sweet tea, it ain't sweet - like a Yankee made it not knowing what sweet tea is supposed to taste like. I know it sounds like nitpicking, but when you have a wife who's full of hormones and all she wants is that first meal after labor, you'd best get that right - you'd figure they would know this. All in all, I can't complain too much because everyone is doing great but it definitely could have been better. I hope this review helps someone else make the right choice of hospital for their family.

The staff are friendly enough but procedurally this place needs a complete re-design top to bottom or to be acquired by a better run hospital. Boy was it bad and where shall we begin? No one at the metal detectors there to check pockets and I walked through with a metal watch on so so much for security, eh guys? No notification or number system so I had to keep checking every 10 minutes with the staff if my mother had arrived via ambulance. Once we moved to a triage bed the procedures around getting vitals, x-rays, etc., moved at a decent pace but a solid 4 long hours passed before. the cardiologist came by, this after "they'll be right by," which set the expectations it'd be happening quickly. Effectively they let emergency but stable patients occupy a triage bed for 4 hours when it could have been free for other patients in the ER.

Again, the staff were friendly, but boy is it a poorly-run place not deserving to occupy that space when a better managed facility could do it. Best part? I can't wait to see the I'm-a-robot-who-couldn't-actually-care reply with "can you please contact us via email at..." so they can both A.) get it out of the public eye and B.) not bother to actually listen, fix it or make amends. Way to go guys, really sucking hard on this one.

Every bad experience that one could have in the hospital my sister has had here. Poor communication, doctors are slower than molasses making decisions, they wait for a problem to occur before thinking about fixing it, she s promised things that never happen. Everything about her hospital stay has been ridiculous and a lot of unnecessary problems have arose because of it. If I could fly her back here to Mayo Clinic I would.

I have been an ER and an Inmate patient consecut...

I have been an ER and an Inmate patient consecutively this year at WakeMed Hospital for what is on the way to becoming a study for Mystery Diagnosis . It is bad enough to be in pain, not too know why is very frustrating. I was not going to comment openly because as my former legal colleagues would say, I should recuse myself due to conflict of interest. But after having read all comments I will add my two-cents anyway.
I am a retired scientist but my first profession was in nursing. I can relate to most of your complaints or recommendations because I experienced both alternatively.

Speaking as a patient, one thing that we forget in a crisis situation is that nurses and medical staff are all human beings with the same qualities and faults as we have. Sure, they have years of training that should help them to cope, and it does, trust me; but that is not a visa to sainthood.

Speaking as a former caregiver, there are times when the world seemed to go into a reverse spin where everything happens in a chain reaction and it is difficult to know where to turn. That is what working in the ER is like almost every day.

That is not meant to be an excuse; it is nevertheless a fact and a true explanation for apparent failures to perform. Even on the patient s floors, people s needs vary greatly and pain and/or fear induce extreme reactions. There is not much calm there either.

Last but not least, a hospital is not a hotel and yes, bedding and meals often take 2nd Nth place in priorities. It may be aggravating but it is a fact of life because when some patients are unable to pay for their treatment, something has to give. Be thankful that it is the food or the furniture that is selected. That is not a negative remark; it is again a fact of life.

Now, if I were to comment on my own experiences in WakeMed, I would have to write one of each category. I opted not to do that because the negative one was honestly my fault in part. The staff over reacted to a comment I made but I over reacted to their reaction. Do you see where that could lead in endless circular arguments. Life is too short for that.
Lastly, If you feel that you were poorly treated, a personal letter of grievance to the administrative office may open the door to improvements for yourself and others.

Rude and cold staff. Was sent here after a dermatologist appointment fell through to hopefully get something to help calm my eczema down. Was told that it would be well over $200 to see the doctor and get a cortisone shot and that I would be excepted to pay upfront after showing my insurance. I felt like they were trying to advantage of a situation where I was in a lot of pain. Walked out before seeing the doctor to find a place that seems more focused on helping people like REX.

Came in here in extreme pain 2 hours ago and have gotten 5 minutes of time in triage and sent back out to wait. My Dr sent me here because it could be my appendix or gall bladder and you people treat this like it's a freaking joke. I'm crying and writhing in legit pain and your "beds are full." Guess I should have ponied up the thousands of dollars to be driven in here in an ambulance so I could get some attention! It's not even that busy here!! What a joke this facility is!!

My mother-in-law was unfortunately a patient at this facility. Cirrhosis of the liver with high ammonia levels, and 2 cerebral infarcts. They continuing refused the family a GI specialist. With symptoms of abdominal swelling, legs, poor appetite, diarrhea, and mental confusion. She was able to see a neurologist, who placed her on baby aspirin. I do understand that, BUT she has cirrhosis of the liver. The baby aspirin could possibly trigger bleeding since she is at high risk due to the cirrhosis. I have my husband and sister-in-law repeatedly ask for GI consult. I would not recommend this hospital, not even in the event of a emergency.

Very relieved I avoided the practice altogether. Ana, the receptionist? was RUDE and short to say the least when she returned my call. First, I called to book an appointment and was told to go to the website, browse their doctors and book one. I did so and Ana called me back with a snarky attitude about how I chose the wrong doctor. Then instead of providing clear information in regards to what insurance the office accepts, she insisted that they wouldn't be able to take me IF I dropped my current insurance. Then when I mentioned that I would possibly be getting Medicaid in conjunction with my current insurance she insisted that since it's a secondary insurance they wouldn't accept me. It was confusing to say the least and her attitude was poor and unhelpful. Way to go Ana! You are a shining star. To add insult to injury she cancelled my appointment and sent me a follow up message. Rude.

Worst place ever. Staff is horrible my father in law is in the hospital due to a double bypass surgery on his heart and they have not done the surgery yet due to his current insurance. They have kept him in the hospital for two months. Wake Ned have beat him kicked him and bruised up his entire body. My father inlaw has a heart condition how can you beat someone with a problem like that. They shouldn't be beating anyone period. But I guess it's ok to hurt bruise up their patients and kick heart center patients when they are on the ground. Wake med you have done nothing but cause my family problems this hospital is not a place that heals you. Wake med breaks you down and beats you up.

I had to be in the hospital for a week and then have surgery here. The building is a bit rundown and older, and therefore doesn't look very nice. But all of the nurses that I saw over my stay were wonderful and very attentive.

My doctor was quite rude, despite only seeing him for a total of 5 minutes the entire week (someone else did my surgery, who was super nice too). Getting simple things (food, medication) was quite slow (they had to be approved by the doctor).

The communication was very poor between the nurses and doctors. I didn't know I was being dismissed (after my surgery) until about an hour before it happened. I didn't know when my surgery would be until the day before. That was very frustrating when trying to make arrangements from the bed.

The nurses there made it a good experience overall.

Absolutely in disgust with this place. Brought my sister along to get her looked at, took an hour for us to get a room. Another 4 hours to get an answer. The doctors couldn't care less about the issue at hand. Didn't know what to say and how to diagnose anything. Wasted my whole day here to get no results. If there was another children's Emergency Hospital in the area I'd go in a heartbeat.

Had a mammogram today at 23 Sunnybrook. I so wish the tech/Aria had shown me a little more compassion. Mammos are not a fly by night test and it was stressful for me. Being kind would have made a big difference. Next year i will go somewhere else for sure....the check-in gentleman was very professional (and kind)....the ultrasound tech was professional (and kind)....that mammo tech was the pits....

My father was admitted to Wake Med Cary while visiting from out of town and hospitalized for 4 days. He was discharged from the hospital on oxygen diagnosed with significant lung issues (PE and IPF). When we called the hospital to have them sign off on a handicap tag so I could drive my parents back home (a 5 hour drive). They refused as he was no longer under the care of the hospital. He had been resting at our home until I felt we could safely travel. They discharged my father with oxygen unable to walk more than a few steps. No suggestion for handicap tag, wheelchair, shower chair, etc. His discharge/ discharge instructions were unsafe. Zero patient care!

My grandmother has been treated here several times for different issues and the nurses and staff have always been awesome. This last time we were especially impressed with the compassion and care shown from everyone from the doctors to the nurses to the phlebotomists. We had a scare and the team was in there in seconds to take care of her. Thank you Wakemed!

My mom was brought to WakeMed Raleigh with what turned out to be a serious condition. She was in for a week. Not only was the care competent, but everyone was extremely compassionate, especially the nurses and therapists. I gave it five stars only because there's no way to give it ten.

I wish there was a way to put 0 stars. This place is the worst when it comes to paying your bill. I owed almost $19,000, my attorney paid a little over $8,000 and I only owe a little under $5,000. I have been late a total of 6 times in the last 3 to 4 years. Two times I was a month later but I paid double payments when that happened to bri g my act back up to date, the other 4 times I was late, I was only 2 to 3 days late.... they have canceled my payment arrangements about a year or two ago and even though I pay my payment every month, because my payment plan was no longer set up, they always threatened me with collections even though I made my payments every month. I finally got them to reset my payment plan, but I had to beg just so I cold stop hearing them threatin my credit.

Didn't know that you had to have speacial qualifications to clean floors, or clean anything for that matter. My previous custodian job didn't tell me that i needed speacial qualifications. Maybe if i get a Bachelor's degree in cleaning floors, I'll be more qualified.

My wife and I had our first child at WakeMed Raleigh this past weekend. The staff blew away our wildest expectations. Everyone from Labor and Delivery to the Car Seat Technician that wheeled us to our car when we were discharged preformed with kindness, compassion, and excellence in everything they did. My wife and I can't imagine being able to have a better birth experience. 5 stars and our highest recommendation possible for having a baby at WakeMed Raleigh.

The anesthesiologist Micheal J Plakki held up emergency surgery because they could not perform a spinal block on my pregnant daughter-in-law. They tried three times which was too much. Time was critical because the baby was ready to be delivered. They could not sedate her for a C-section and the doctors were arguing with the anesthesiologist because they were holding up the process. My daughter-in-law heard them arguing in operating room. They were having a difficult time on what how to sedating my daughter-in-law. This was a time-sensitive matter..Who do I talk to about this matter of poor performance in surgery with the anesthesiologist and his associate. He was taking a risk with the life of my grandson and daughter.

Worst place ever. It is very scary and dangerous when you are getting sicker, you go to the emergency room two times in one week and they act like you are not sick, even to go so far to deny obvious symptoms. If you want to be neglected and not taken seriously as a patient go to wake med!

I was in a very bad car accident in January went to er for havi g severe back pain. The Dr. came in and listened to my breathing with stethoscope and said I have soft tissue damage which is very common. I asked how can she tell by just listening to my breathing. She said she can tell nothing is broke because I walked in there. She didn't run her hand down my back didnt do anything. But I did receive a $1600 bill for that bullcrap. They need doctors who care about the patients. Then I called to get an itemized statement the lady said it is procedure to bill my medical insurance. Which is a load of crock. They're not supposed to bill insurance if it was a car accident.
