I have been traveling to Taipei for the past 2 years now and W Taipei has been the best hotel I stay in. In fact, it s been my only choice when I travel. The entire staff is awesome! From the concierge team to the welcome guest, smiles at check in and restaurant staff.

Amenities are generously and meticulously appointed - what you would expect of W Hotels - the rooms, bathrooms, pool area etc.

Like I mentioned, I have been staying at this hotel for a bit now so why am I now just writing a review? That s because the service I experienced during my last stay here was amazing. Before arriving at the hotel, I used the BonVoy app to complete mobile check in. As soon as I completed that, I got a chat message within the app from @Judy confirming my special request for extra towels. She came back on the chat to tell me my room was all set. At the check-in desk, @Shu was very courteous and confirmed the information @Judy had shared. She informed me about things that had changed since my last visit and also DJ events planned for that weekend.

Lastly, I met @Chao at the WooBar and she was the kindest and most helpful staff I d seen. Chao made sure my drinks and snacks were to my satisfaction and took care of us when my colleagues visited me for drinks at the WooBar the next day.

Hey - I travel a lot and stay at different hotels (a lifetime titanium elite member with Marriott), and not a lot impress me any more. However, I know that service is what sets properties apart, the the W-Taipei and it s wonderful staff exemplify that.

I called the Whenever line, and the bell rang for two minutes before someone answered and informed me of the missing items. It took a long time to say that blankets should be used instead of quilts. W Taipei didn t disappoint.

As you step out of your cab at the door, your belongings are well taken care of, checked in done quickly without a fuss.

The furnishing is exactly what you expect as other W around the world. The beds supplied are probably one of the most comfortable ones in Starwood/Marriott hotels; fully automatic Toto washlet is an interesting add-on. (While you might see washlets in Taiwan hotels, fully automated ones are less common)

In terms of location it s at a Metro station, easy to travel to different parts of Taipei. Walking distance to 101 (You might even get a room facing there). It s in the same building as a department store, very easy to get quality shopping and food there.

There are plenty of seafood! Desserts, fruits, ice cream, and drinks are all available!

There are totally different styles during the day and night, and it s not boring to stay the whole day... I love it here.

There are only four toilets and they often need to be lined up. The faucet design is extremely different, and it takes a while to find the switch. As a well-known hotel design is so uncomfortable, I think it should not.

The ingredients of the buffet are fresh, the style is not many, but the buffet is more refined than usual, and the food is constant and the service is friendly.
