W Hotel Taipei Review

Awesome hotel. Very stylish and hip, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and luxurious bathrooms. The sink counter is unusually low, though, making everyday grooming a little awkward, and the faucet was oddly tight and squeaky.

The outdoor pool is very nice and kept at the perfect temperature. The spa is free for guests, and has a steam room, sauna, and three soaking pools (cold, body temp, and hot).

Location is excellent, right next door to a couple of big (and chic) shopping centers. Eslite, a big bookstore chain, is also next door, and Taipei 101 is within walking distance.

The best. The best service.

I stayed as an SPG member, but the manager came out and enjoyed the best service such as bar service.

I want to go again.

Excellent customer service, perfect view in town district

I was immensely impressed by W when i arrived at the door steps.
The hotel reception was located at a different level, so when i arrived at the ground floor, ample staff in swanky uniforms greeted us and helped us with our luggage as we proceeded upstairs to an amazing lobby and check-in.

The room was amazing and every amenity has been carefully through through - from proper power points, connectors for my iPhones, iPads, everything I needed was right there.

Location wise, right on top of the City Hall station that will lead you to everywhere you need to go, and at the doorstep to Taipei's swankiest shopping district. In fact, covered walk-ways allows you to walk from the hotel all the way to Taipei 101 sheltered from rain and shine.

The restaurant on the top floor is fashionable with a good view.

Come to the wedding reception of friends. The dishes are great, the service is good, and the best is the environment and atmosphere. The overall layout is very elegant, and there is a feeling that you are a guest.

Awesome room. Well designed but entertainment system was difficult to figure out. Seems the pool is opened all night during the summer months. Big plus!

The shower also had good water pressure.
It was convenient because there was no need for a separate adapter.
The breakfast was a bit unfortunate, but the department store connected to the subway and the passage were connected.

The pool is attached to the bar and it is not suitable for children to play.

W hotels are known for their dark decor and vibrant nightlife. This one did not let down.

Super chic, modern and in an awesome part of Taipei

There are few kinds of things, but each dish is still ok. It s just that the steak skin is a bit hard but the meat is very delicious. The lobster is full in the holiday. Although it s not comparable to the lived one, it s still very tasty. The outdoor seating atmosphere is good.

I have started at the W Taipei many times, and service is always exceptional. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel rooms are one of the nicest I have stayed at, and the bar gets pretty bumping on the weekends.

Best hotel stayed in so far. Everything is perfect and modern design. Staff is friendly and amenities inside and outside room are adequate. Definitely not letting down if the price is not a problem for paying too.

Buffet is good on Sundays. The door boys were a bit arrogant and classist. This hotel is frequented by elite of Taiwan. We had to ask twice for a taxi to be called for.

Nice hotel, a bit too "clubby" for me. Great, consistent service, clean rooms with good amenities... Though last week I started there, the disposal body scrubbing mit seemed to have been missing. Happy hour is great with yummy drinks. The upstairs bar is better for a less noisy experience where you can actually have a conversation.

The cafeteria's dishes are not as high as the CP value.

The overall feeling is very modern, and the sound and light effect is full at night.

In the elite area of Xinyi District, it is really magnificent, and I will stay for more time to observe next time.

It is a relatively new restaurant in Taipei. In terms of overall service, some staff are nice and average. Service staff like Kitchen table are very good, but Ziyan Bar is not necessarily. The reservation department is also.
The swimming pool is a place I really like. There are often activities during the summer holidays. I have stayed many times, and it is one of the best in terms of Taipei, Taiwan, but I can't compare it to hotels in Macau. I used to host a friend from Macau and lived there, but I didn't get a good evaluation. I felt very disappointed.

When I first came to W Hotel, the company rented a venue at the outdoor pool bar on the 10th floor. The overall feeling was great!

Very nice on the decoration for holiday season. Still having a bad image because of the drug accident to a young lady happened last December. I believe it is still in very high quality of service.

The service was quick and excellent! The breakfast was very diverse and a lot to choose from Asian to western. The room is a bit small and too many bits and pieces which were not toddlers friendly. For family with 1-3 years old, we have a hard time to keep them from grabbing, touching and breaking all glasses, cups, metal buckets, etc. Other than that, everything was great.

Brand new hotel and great views from the room, very clean

Can't feel the service quality of high-end hotels. The happy hour provided to members is the first one, but I still can t get in. You have to ask yourself cheeky (my titanium card)... 2019.11.22 After 13:11, drive into the underground garage B4. Until B4 is still the same, very unhygienic and harmful to health! When you leave after 17:15, B4 has no odor. W hotel Taipei service is one the worst, especially during this pandemic never had to deal with this horrible experience with them but tpe W hotel, reserved multiple rooms for our Corp and friends, missing reservations, missing points or stays for your loyalty program and always staff at the front will always hustle you to pay for extra to get a upgrade when it s available & clearly the Marriott member benefits, front desk manager Sara definitely got a attitude problem, do not recommend any platinum members or above to stay here

I just refused to say no when I borrowed a cart. It is really costly to hold an event in such a hotel!

This was my first stay at a W and will probably be my last. Everything ran well but the plastic / pink / orange aesthetic was just not to my taste. I didn t eat at the hotel so can t comment on the restaurants. The room amenities were thoughtful and of high quality, and the concierge helped me make a hair appointment in advance of my stay.
